Other Drawing tips for zachie!

ive been drawing for a couple years now, but recently have taken a break, so i decided ive start my first furry drawing! yay! i drew my oc blie. its pretty good but the fur is a bit just not right, can anyone help with this? is there any steps i should take to practise? my art is on instagram, if you would like to check it out its zachie.zach

I can help! I haven't seen your art work but the most common issue with fur tends to be the lack of values so always remember to have highlights and shadows!
