Well it's still early in the story you could make a human champion.
Mamon just got done training most of the heroes for almost a year so you could've been doing anything before that

Mamon is piccolo.

I think someone already got goku...

However we need Master roshi, Nappa,Tien, & yamcha (they don't have to die.)
We also need a Ginyu force and a frieza for the next arc.

Keep in mind this is our own alternate DBZ timeline we don't have to follow the story exactly. The frieza could become a teammate. Tien could be the one to defeat our version of cell. Buu could be a hero that helps to stop an even greater evil. We can even make Dragonball super play out how we see fit (or GT we can take a vote to create the arcs.)

Speaking of which I'm thinking of doing the movies as individual arcs anyone opposed to that?
