Realistic or Modern Codename: Shepherd

Thousands go missing every year. It's a very real thing that happens to too many people. Some are found but a great majority simply disappear into forgotten spaces as names and faces on posters.


Our story follows the group that aims to change that.


We call ourselves by the codename: Shepherd. We work to bring home the lost faces on the posters, no matter how dangerous or how far we have to go. Our skills are less than professional and our profession here is illegal vigilantism. This won't stop us from our goal. We will guide the lost home. We've had our shares of success an also our losses. In truth, were just normal people trying to change the world by tackling this one problem out of so many.


We take our missions from whispers in the streets, lists of known missing people, and occasionally a commission from family or friends. It's all the same basic goal. Find the missing person and get them home safely. That is the continuing job of Codename: Shepherd.

This is just a late night idea brought on my listening to the song All These Lives by Daughtry. It's simple but seems to be something that hasn't been attempted it. It could be fun once it's been polished a bit. Anyone have any thoughts?

I think it sounds legit and it would be fun to be either the bad guy(s) or the vigilantes. As for polish maybe pick an era or universe for it to be set in and then go from there.
