  Mari is nearly sociopathic, with no real connection to other people. She has become excellent at feigning emotions like compassion, and learned that some humans are far less likely to hurt her than others, though she still constantly has her guard up. Mari focuses on keeping herself as knowledgeable as possible to the world around her, and the interruption by Deus has given her something to focus all of her attention on.   Mari was born in an abusive household with a monster of a father. Every time he drank immediately led to drunken rants filled with screaming and fists. Until she was eight years old Mari dealt with his assaults, taking every punch without caring, making sure not to hide his bruises or other evidence of his attacks.
  
  
  Almost six months after she turned eight years old Mari took a knife and ended his life while he slept. Her mother took the blame and Mari was sent to an orphanage, losing both of her parents in a day. Mari took her second life five years later, when she found out about her powers. She had turned invisible in front of her classmate Roger out of the blue, shocking him into complete silence. For a week he said nothing, refusing to say a single word to anybody. When he finally recovered and intended to tell others, Mari drowned him and burned his body.
  
  
  A year later she was admitted into Demios Academy, where she did everything she could to hide her history. As far as the world knew she was just a quiet girl from Iowa.

  Writing Sample: Mari hardly paid attention to anyone as she walked through the halls of Demios, her backpack heavy on her shoulders. The oppressively loud voices filled the halls as she walked, some were longtime students seeing each other again after some unknown time apart. Others were first years like her trying to make friends with whoever they could. It was almost funny watching them struggle to comprehend the new world around them, as if they didn't realize other people had powers. That was how the world worked, nobody was a special snowflake.
  
  
  After only a few more minutes of walking, Mari found her way to her class. The room seemed almost exactly like the classes of her middle school, though self righteous shits seemed to be more populous. Only a minute later class began, and with it came the beginning of the next few years of her life.

  When his world began there was only it and him. No parents, no friends, no family just a lone demon residing in a cave where darkness reigned supreme. His first memory of one of complete blackness, and then a small black shadow that became his only companion. March, didn't remember how he arrived there, and how could he? When he awoke he was only an infant and even for a demon, the days of creation are hazy and tend to be left in the shadows. There was no need for him to learn, because he already knew what was necessary to know. The languages of the other species that resided in the realm, where he could find food and water, and a home had already been provided. The little demon was a curious fellow, but also a intelligent one and would normally fight against his urges to do more than he needed to. He passed most of the time by sleeping and watching the actions of the other beings, as he had called them, fight over unnecessary things. The one that seem to do this the most were Humans, an organism that tended to fight for... anything really. They would fight for land, resources, "God" killing anyone who would get in their way, including other members of the race. Should he have laughed when he had seen it? Those who happened to pass by his pool of shadows seemed to find it funny, but nothing ever tickled him inside. March found it rather pitiful for a race that believes in a higher being to disguise it's action under it's name. His first thoughts were," I feel sorry for this God."
  
  
  As time flew by, he felt herself wanting to explore the lands outside of his cave, but again his conscious stopped his in his tracks. His brain worked in away that it told his the best options and the possible consequences for going against it's wishes. Normally this would have made him stay, but not today, not this moment. And so he ventured out of his cave for the first time since his birth. The woods were not to kind to something as small as his, creatures of all different shapes and sizes wanting a taste of the new meat walking around. It didn't scare his, but the thought was somewhat troubling. Sadly, this did not deter him from his journey and so he continued on her. Truthfully, he should have been eaten a long time ago, but never once did they hint at attacking her only watching with hungry yet fearful stares.
  
  
  It didn't take very long til he had his first human encounter, a couple on what seemed to be on there honeymoon. They were first frightened, then somewhat scared, and soon annoyed seeing him as nothing but one of the many imps that was said to plague these roads. Their treatment wasn't very nice as the male kicked him a few times, but stopped at the sight of flames engulfing his calf and upper thigh. He could remember the howling of the woman as he ran off... such weird creatures he thought. It was quite an odd meeting, but it was the first of many. On his journeys he met a wide variety of "other beings" which either greeted him or treated him harshly with some even trying to kill him. Sometimes it's a wonder how he even managed to make it out alive at points. His trip ended after 3 years when a sleepiness ate away him until he curled up into a ball and slept. When he awoke again from his slumber he found himself at a school for gifted, and decided to further his experience by attending.

  The damp air tickled his nose, his fur looking seemingly wet from having stood outside for to long. March eye's stared lazily at the large gates before him his mind wandering why he had ever wanted to come here in the first place. Did he really need this experience to learn about the humans when his brain knew most of what he needed? Gently scratching his head with his elongated claws, the demon walked forward, his tails dragging against the wet asphalt of the pathway. "Chilly." he thought as a gently breeze ran through him causing the fur on his body to stand.
  
  
  "Oh my god . . . what is that?!" a feminine voice from behind shrieked catching his attention. A student? Faculty? From the looks of it she had been one of the many students who had attended this rather diverse school. She looked at him with wide frightened eyes, the typical response he brought out from most humans he passed . . . all humans he passed really. There were few times in which people tried to attack him fearing what he could possible do although that never got them far. Would she attack him as well? March took a quick glance and simple waved his ginormous alligator like hand at her in order to prove that he was indeed doing no harm. The opposite effect was shown. Now she was more weary of him than ever, March speculating that the green hand was not something anyone would consider as friendly.
  
  
  "Sorry." he mumbled before he looked the way, a small shriek jumping from the other's mouth. This meeting only made him suspect his decision was indeed not a good one as human's were not one for the unknown. He should know, he's seen the slaughter of countless of other lives because of human inability to cope with things they don't understand or fail to solidify within their simple minds. How a race like this survived he would never know, but it wasn't the time to be thinking about humanity. What he should be thinking about it how to find the human known as the principal of the place in order to get himself situated.
  
  
  "I hope I don't scare them . . . " his voice trailed off, pulling his hood further down his head at the first sign of rain. Indeed it was chilly. Placing one paw after the other, he trudged through the drizzle which some became a pouring rain, feeling relief as the water droplets dance across his tail. In all honesty, he couldn't wait to start his life as a "student" his monstrous tail wagging back and forth behind. Will he finally be able to partake in this thing called "fun"? He didn't know, but soon . . . very soon he was going to find out.

Light constructs are limited to heat and light, they have no other physical interaction. Personally, she doesn't like causing grave wounds unless she's in Stage 3, by then she doesn't care.

A child being dragged by thugs into an alley. She saw red after that and soon awoke with her age reverted, the surroundings scorched, memories sealed in her Stage 3 and a sleeping child.   Burning...blinding...nothing else could be said about this. Everywhere was scorched and eviscerated, a once peaceful ground now tainted with the blood of innocents. And there she stood, laughing at it all from atop a mountain of corpses and for miles she could see the destruction of man. Her eyes glowed evilly as she purveyed her territory marked with blood and burns.
  
  
  "Ah!" She screamed as Charlotte awoke from a nightmare. She put her hands on her chest and steadied her breathing as she started to calm down. Knocking came from her door and entered another girl with blonde hair and looked a bit younger than her. "You alright sis?" She asked her as she sat on her bed. Chalotte nodded. "Yeah...I'm fine...just a bad dream." She insisted. This was good enough for her sister and so she left seconds later. In reality however, she was still reeling from how...vivid the dream was. She shook it off, she was going to class later, a new school, a new chance. She was very excited yet frightened about her future there, coming in as a freshman and being seen as the odd one in a school full of powerful people would be a new low for her. 'i told them that the ability wasnt a big deal, but do they listen? of course not' masao thought as he trudged down the pathway to the academy. he was about halfway down the path when he noticed other teenagers walking around hold hands, picking flowers, and having fun. 'eww, why do they think flowers are a good thing. what odd people' he thought. about ten minutes later he arrived to the front of the school. Not being able to control it he burned down his home and town. It was then he realized he found a way to have fun.

  Water Manipulation - Lea can control water by either using some that she keeps stored in a flask on her hip, or by using whatever source is in the area. Like, if there is a puddle nearby, perhaps a water fountain, or even someone is sweating. Or perhaps there's even some flora nearby that she can drain water out of. Granted, that would instantly kill the flora life, but you get the picture. She can get her water from nearly any source and then bend it to her will, much like a water bender from The Last Airbender / Legend of Korra. She can also manipulate the water into an ice form, changing the water from a liquid state to a solid state. She can't control the gas state though. Oh yeah, but being able to control water also gives Lea the perk of being able to breathe underwater for an unlimited amount of time, as she can siphon the oxygen out of water and then breathe it.
  
  
  Summoning - Less of summoning, more of water manipulation in a sense. She can create animals from water, solidifying them into ice and then giving them life. These creatures will have a mind of their own, but their will ultimately bends to Lea, so she can think that they're doing something and then they will immediately begin doing it. They're quite literally a part of Lea's mind.
  
  
  Weaknesses/ Limitations: Well, as stated above, Lea can't control the gas state of water, so that's one downside to her water bending. Also, summoning is very taxing on her and can quickly sap her energy when she's trying to fight with her water bending while also mentally controlling a companion.
  
  
  Also, whenever her companions are damaged, the same injury will appear in the same location on Lea's body. While she can readily dismiss a companion, if it's done during battle then she will feel as if part of her has died. She'll usually suffer through until the end of the battle and sometimes just command her companions to flee the scene and hide until it's all over. If she waits to dismiss a companion until after a fight breaks out and the adrenaline rush is over, then she will keep the injuries to her body.

  Metal Manipulation - Manjano can control metals of any kind. He typically will use this ability to create armor for himself and then a sword and shield. Sometimes if quiet is of essence in a fight or they need to stay hidden, then Manjano will create daggers to use. He even can create a metal bow and quiver full of arrows to use, though this is more taxing on his energy and mind to control. This being said, Manjano also has the awesome ability to stop bullets mid-fire, thus making him bulletproof as long as he's paying attention and knows that bullets are being fired at him. He can also redirect the bullets after stopping them so that they continue with their force, but now in a different direction.
  
  
  Summoning - Basically the exact same thing as what Leandra can do with her water manipulation, except this is metal and so Manjano can create metal companions, which are much sturdier and dangerous than Leandra's companions.
  
  
  Weaknesses/ Limitations: Manjano is angered rather easily and is highly defensive, so his emotions can cause him to lash out at others with his powers, thus causing more bad than good most to of the time. He also shares the downsides that his sister has with his companions. They can be very taxing to control, he withstands the same injuries as they do, etc.
  
  
  Personality: Manjano is basically silent, like, all the time. He rarely speaks and typically only speaks with one word or a short sentence if it's really necessary. He's highly defensive and refuses to talk about his past with anyone other than Leandra. Well, he might talk about it if someone were able to get close to him. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Anyhow, Manjano is also mostly expressionless, keeping his facial expression neutral almost all the time. If he expresses anything, it'll typically be anger. He's also extremely loyal of his sister and close friends, protecting them at all costs. Just like his sister, Manjano is also depressed, but his depression is far worse and at the age of twelve, he tried to take his own life. Leandra managed to stop him at the time though, and he hasn't tried again since.

He's highly defensive and refuses to talk about his past with anyone other than Leandra. Well, he might talk about it if someone were able to get close to him. *wink wink, nudge nudge* Anyhow, Manjano is also mostly expressionless, keeping his facial expression neutral almost all the time. If he expresses anything, it'll typically be anger. He's also extremely loyal of his sister and close friends, protecting them at all costs. Just like his sister, Manjano is also depressed, but his depression is far worse and at the age of twelve, he tried to take his own life. Leandra managed to stop him at the time though, and he hasn't tried again since.

He even can create a metal bow and quiver full of arrows to use, though this is more taxing on his energy and mind to control. This being said, Manjano also has the awesome ability to stop bullets mid-fire, thus making him bulletproof as long as he's paying attention and knows that bullets are being fired at him. Dark- she can in case herself in darkness to shield herself from a light attack. Aswell as invading the opponent in Darkness making them only see pitch black while she attacks with a monster she can create with the dark surrounding the opponent. If another dark user attacks her with the power she can absorb it to make herself stronger (as well as light)

Her parents convinced her to go, thinking it would be a great experience for her and get away from her troubles. She didn't refuse knowing her parents were right.
