Realistic or Modern Dessert Paradise Club ~Anime~

Students walked by the club with smiles on their faces. It was the day of club recruiting and Dessert Paradise had just gotten a couple new members. Everyone sat on the floor in squishy bean bags, the club president talking to all the new members. Tea sets lined the cupboards and sweets were being prepared in the small oven in the room. The club had been allowed a small oven in their while the student kitchen was getting fixed. The aromas of cookies and tea filled the air as the VP poured a cup of tea for every member and checked the cookies. As the president talked his eyes seemed to brighten with the joy that filled his heart. The two regular members to his right would also talk about all that would happen in the club. They told stories of overnight camp outs and bonfires. The beach and Christmas. The club was back to being a club after it was almost shut down last year. It was going to be different this year, for there were so many new things coming up in this year... @macaron @Peachypants @Elf @Dreadpool @hisokun

Mika's never been in a club before. Actually, he's never been to a baking club before. Back then, he covered his love and talent for baking in sports. He didn't want anyone to know just how much he loved sweets. He didn't know why, since everyone was practically begging him to make something. But it just wasn't the right time. Now, he finally has the opportunity to show just how much he loves it when he bakes. He pours himself another cup of tea, spooning a slice of pie into his mouth.

"Oh!" He suddenly exclaims. "Let me introduce myself." He shoots up from his seat, nearly knocking his tea over. He gives everyone a sheepish smile, holding up a peace sign. "I'm Mika Masaomi! Nice to meet you." He bends down in greeting.

Hikaru Hidekazu was the name of the young man who ran in the halls to catch up with the first meeting of the year. A meeting in the club he loved and cherised. Only two years ago, he lived in a small village back in France. And now for the past year he's been attending to a new school, met a ton of new people and even got an invite to the club that did everything he ever wanted to do, Baking. He wasn't such a fan of the sweets himself, but he always ejoyed himself while he stood in the kitchen. Also the smiles on others faces when they tasted something delicious made him continue.

Hikaru continued to run through the halls while breathing heavily. His cheeks had this slight shade of pink from the running and his head was covering most of his eyes. He brushed past a couple of students on his way and didn't stop until the sight of the door was visible. While still breathing heavily, he stopped outside to catch his breath and run a hand through his hair.

"Sorry I'm late! I got lost on the way here!" He said, rather loudly, while hurrying to a free seat and sinking into the beanbag.

------

With a slight giggle when another student ran inside, Misaki Chiharu leaned back in the bean bag and pulled her legs against her chest. It was her first time being in here, her first time attending to this school. Even her first time joining a club. This certain club caught her eyes when she noticed that they baked close to all the time. It was her passion, both to make the desserts but mostly to eat them. This young girl was a true sign of a sweet-tooth. She was the perfect example of an addict. If nothing would've stopped her, she would easily have eaten desserts all day, maybe all night. The fact that she knew a thing or two made it even harder for her to keep away from. Misake smiled one of her tiny smiles and looked around the room to see if she could recognize anyone, but no. But she could tell by the one who fixed the tea and the one who talked to every member was either the president or the vp. Misake once again smiled and brushed away a few strands of hair that were covering parts of her face.

Ayano Tachibana

She was the regular member who was sitting next to their president (who just left because he had a question for the principal) and she smiled softly at those who arrived late. "Hello you two. We haven't started much, just introducing ourselves." She said with a timid voice. Ayano looked at Mika, nodded to him then smiled. She remembered being so eager to join the club that she had made a fool out if herself, but luckily Kuroha didn't tease her for it. Ayano noticed that Hikaru and Misaki didn't have tea and cookies so she stood up and went over to her older best friend, Karuta Yoshida. Ayano and Karuta were best friends since forever, and the two did lots of things together. Ayano brushed back her chocolate brown bangs that had fallen across her darker maroon colored eyes and made her giggle softly.

Karuta Yoshida

"Hikaru! Misaki! You two don't have tea! Or cookies!" (She knows like everyone's names) She said puffing out her cheeks in a slightly frustrated manor. This was the VP of the club. The second brain of every operation. Karuta saw that Ayano was grabbing some more tea cups and cookies. Karuta looked at Mika and smiled brightly.

"Welcome to the club Mika! I'm Karuta and I'm the VP of the club!" She said and began to pour more tea. She picked up two small tea cups and saucers with care and went over to the members who were slightly late. Karuta then took the plate of cookies from Ayano's small hands and took it over to the small little table in the middle if the circle. She brushed back her golden colored bangs as she fixed her white headband that kept most of her curly hair out of her face.

(I'll be posting for the other two later)

-Raikotsu-

Raikotsu had only recently become a regular here at this dessert club. As a scholar who spent a great deal of his time studying, it was good to finally get a chance to kick back and relax, and this club was just the perfect place to do so. He smiled coyly as he received his sundae, relishing every bit of it. While seated, his eyes gazed around towards the other students. His gaze lingered upon a girl seated where the president seemed to generally sit. He distractedly put his spoon in his mouth, it being moments before he realized that there was no ice cream on it.

He hastily turned away from Ayano, praying that his face wasn't red. There she was yet again, though he hadn't quite mustered up the courage to go and talk to her...

Ayano Tachibana

"So what's everyone looking forward to this year?" Ayano asked as the VP was still baking things and trying not to trip over her small dog, Bunny. She laughed softly and grabbed another cookie with a clover shape to it. She began to eat the sweet as she looked around the circle of students. Her maroon eyes were bright with excitement and thrill as she was ready to go bake and everything else that this club would be doing. She noticed the red faced Raikotsu out of the corner of her eye, but she dismissed it as it was probably nerves. Ayano was kind of an airhead when it came to things like that.

Raikotsu

Raikotsu sighed, finishing off the last of his chocolate sundae. Maybe one day... 'But then again, what if it's too late by the time I gain enough confidence to talk to her?' Raikotsu thought, slightly apprehensively. It dawned on him that he didn't have forever to collect himself, and that he ought to make an attempt rather soon. A small smirk played onto his lips. "Look at me, getting all worried about this. I should focus myself on other things right now," He said to himself. His thoughts drifted to any special events that the dessert club would be doing soon, absentmindedly chewing on a candy apple.

What's he looking forward to? It's actually quite simple. He just wants to bake. He's deprived himself for so long, and he doesn't want to do that anymore. It seems that everyone's focused on the same thing. Although, the previous members must have other things in mind. Mika raises his hand a little, swallowing his cookie before speaking. "I'm kind of looking forward to a bake sale," Mika admits. "It helps with the club's funds, and we get to bake all the same. You know, just an idea."

•♠Akihiko Aozora♠•

Aki looked around the room as he sat comfortably on the large bean bag. There were a lot of new people in the club, and that meant a lot of names he'd have to remember. The bad thing was that he was never really good at remembering names. (That was Karuta's job)

Akihiko could see that some people were a bit nervous, though a few might've been red for other reasons. Either way, he had also felt what the new recruits felt before, since it was only last year he had joined the club. He hadn't joined the Dessert Paradise club two years ago because he decided to just be in the archery club for his first year. He still joined this club in the end so all was good.

Seeing that someone had started to introduce themself, he quietly listened, sipping his tea and trying to remember everyone's names and faces. There was a male named Michi- wait, that wasn't it- Mika Masaomi that just introduced himself and that was it so far, besides Karuta, who he already knew. Aki decided to introduce himself now to get it over with.

He quickly stood up and bowed.

"Hello, Akihiko Aozomi, at your service! Third year student, second year of being a member!"

He sat down after giving that small greeting and also a large, toothy smile.

Hikaru's eyes began to flicker when he caught sight of the girl with long blonde hair. There was no way that he could look past her, her bright blue eyes and the increddibly cute smile she wore. The fact that she knew his name caused him to blush ever so slightly. Because of his lack of confidence he had never spoken to her before, and it startled him when she said his name. Hikaru turned his face away to hide his flushed cheeks and sank down deeper into the beanbag. After a little while when the color of his cheeks had disappeared, he grabbed a cup of tea and a cookie.

Misaki smiled a little when the boy spoke. "Ooh a baking sale! It sounds so fun!" She squeeked with a bright smile and took a sip of her tea. The water was still really hot so with a haste she pulled back the cup and glued a frown on her face. Even a tiny bit of a pout was visible due to her tounge being burned. She looked up once she heard another voice from the door. A third year student. Not that she had anything against them, they just seemed so utterly frightening. They were all so tall and looked so grown-up. Misaki fell silent and hid her face behind her light-blue bangs.

Her outfit:

Dai rushed through the corridors and into the room where the club was hosted. "Uh, sorry I'm late everyone... I got held up by a teacher..." She excused herself on to one of the beanbags and poured herself some tea, then taking a sip. "This is good!" Dai cheerfully said.

She placed her flower crown back on her head after it had fallen off and placed the teacup on the floor. "So what's everyone's names? I'm Dai!"

Karuta Yoshida

Karuta noticed Dai and smiled softly. "Oh hello Dai. We were just introducing ourselves." She said cheerfully. She then sat down in the seat near Hikaru. She brushed back her blonde bangs and hosted a gentle smile on her lips. She finally had a tea cup in her hands as she was finally done cooking. Her small dog Bunny was laying down in her small bed in the kitchen. She rubbed her big cerulean blue eyes as she are a cookie. She had been up very late last night trying to decide what tea to make and what cookies to bake. @Peachypants

Hikaru glanced over at Karuta once again, when she sat down the blush on his cheeks was revealed even more. He would've greeter her with a smile which he usually did, but the fact that it was just her made it close to impossible. Then she did one of those hairflips that caused him to quickly and silently gasping for air. By the time he had realised his actions he covered his hand with his left hand and hid his blushing face as good as he could. "Hey there! Dai was it?" he said to the girl who entered the room. His voice was still kind of nervous and a bit shaky but his main focus at the moment was to get rid of the shade of pink on his cheeks.

"Hi! Are you Hika... Hika... Hikaru! Are you Hikaru?" Dai asked and noticed he looked a little bit hot. "What's wrong? You don't look very well." She looked into his eyes waiting for an answer and ate a cookie from the plate.

Karuta looked over at Dai and raised an eyebrow just slightly. She took a sip of tea and closed her eyes in thought. The club members soon began to babble to themselves. She couldn't help but sneak another glance at the older boy seated next to her. She noticed his face was a slight pink, but she pushed the thought away. She grabbed another cookie and ate it quickly. She was just a bit nervous about other girls talking to Hikaru. She always liked to make small talk with him and it always made her smile, but recently he had gotten nervous around her.

"That's right! And oh I'm fine haha, Just fine" Hikaru answered a little bit startled that she realised it. Somewhere in the back of his mind he knew that Karuta was glancing over at him, but he figured that it was probably just his imagination. But he unintensionally glanced back at her and met her eyes. That was the moment that his hands began to shake. Before he knew it he almost dropped the cup of tea in his lap. Luckily he didn't. The worst that happened was that about half of the cup was spilled on his hands. While in silence he put down the cup on the floor. 'God Hikaru can't you do anything right!? Not even once?!' He thought to himself while standing up. He laughed nervously while biting his lower lip. "Uh I'm just gonna' go and get some ice or something." The blush on his cheeks were now even worse than before. Hikaru glanced around the room to find a freezer or something similar.

Karuta saw him spill the tea and she stood up. "Oh my are you okay? Let me get some cream" she said hurriedly and went to the cabinets. Ayano had also began to clean up the spilled tea. "Put your hand under water if it's hurting Hikaru" Karuta said quickly still looking for a cream. She couldn't help but notice that she was making him very nervous. She soon felt upset that she made him so nervous.

Hikaru's eyes widened when Karuta stood up. "I-I'm fine, really. I promise" he said with an unsecure smile and a light chuckle. But despite his words he still felt a burning sensation in his hand. Like thousands of tiny needles piercing his pale skin. So he did what he was told to do and put his hand under the pouring water. He desperately tried to remove the blush from his cheeks. But to no success, his cheeks were still pretty mutch flushed. He was worried that she might believe that it was her fault for him being so nervous, which she might have been. But maybe not for the reason she thought it was.

Mika turns his attention to Misaki, another member of the club. She looks shy and innocent, her blue eyes sparkling with a vibrant intensity. "Right?" He says excitedly, jiggling his knees. He's been thinking about it for quite some time. A bake sale would prove that the club is worth something, too, since he's heard a rumour that it was previously planned to be closed down. "You're Misaki-san, right?" He grins at her. "I'm Mika! Nice to meet you!"
