This is the CS thread for Dead? Or: The Odd Occurrence at Wormwood Manor. This post explains more about it if you're interested.

I don't have a specific CS code that I want everyone to use but here are some things that need to be included.

A realistic photo to use for the main post
A realistic faceclaim (if the photo in the main post isn't of their face)
Name
Age
Gender
Sexuality
Role name (butler, rival, etc.)
Personality
Backstory
A blurb to go in the main post (see my two characters' blurbs for examples of what I mean by that)
Why are they at the party? (can be their relationship to Gwen or something like "snuck in")
Experiences with Violet
Possible motive
Alibi
Juicy secrets (any sort of drama that might go down or secret relationships to other characters)

You can include way more information than that if you want, but that's all I'm requiring. The two most important things are the photo and the blurb as they go on the main post for everyone to see.

Model: Theresa Fractale (FB/Insta)

⟡ Info

Name: Diana Mallory Walker
Age: 26
Gender: Cis Female
Sexuality: Bi, female preference
Role Name: The Activist
Personality: Formal, theatrical, good-natured. Passionate about her 'hobbies' and her career. Likes to help people. Often acts big-sisterly towards her close friends, nevermind she's technically younger than most of them. Appears very stoic at first but is actually quite playful and enjoys teasing others; she just doesn't show it immediately. Sometimes she pretends to be a vampire; nobody is quite sure whether she's kidding or if she really believes she is a vampire. Joke's on them, she's faking it (because seriously, do you know how big of a commitment becoming undead is?). She just likes to freak people out when she tells them what's on her collar isn't really just red wine -- because really, if you didn't see her spill it, how do you know? Her deadpan expression and tone the whole time is what always sells them on such a ridiculous joke that is actually just her covering up the fact that she spilled her drink on herself. It's her special talent.
Backstory: Grew up in the country with her father and her sister, then moved away to the big city for university, where she's currently studying for a master's degree in psychology. She wishes to be a womens' therapist and psychologist. Dislikes talking about her childhood and her past before moving to the city. Currently the unofficial leader of a 'friendly support group' at her university for women of similar 'fashion taste' and 'lifestyle choices' such as herself. Invitations required to attend a meeting. May have killed and sacrificed her first boyfriend for cheating; story is unclear and changes every time she tells it.
Blurb: Diana Walker is a locally-adored gothic fashion guru, aspiring psychology student, and feminist activist. Despite what some might consider to be 'unorthodox' methods, she has managed to make a name for herself amongst her circles as a devoted and passionate activist and friend. Diana also writes vampire romance novels under a pseudonym in her free time, and has managed to secure a pretty penny from her published works -- adult novels, not teenage-YA romance like the public is accustomed to. This is classy and mature business. If ever asked, she would love to discuss the intricacies of the business with you, whilst offering you a spot at her next 'club' meeting.
Reason for Attending Party: Arguably friends with Gwen, after offering her... services once in order to help her out with a difficult relationship situation (she helped Gwen curse an obsessed fanboy who was causing trouble. Debatable if magic/witchcraft is truly effective, but he did leave Gwen alone after they cursed him to ruin every conversation he had with an attractive woman, so it's up to you to decide).
Experiences with Violet: Has been interviewed before after particularly moving talks she has given at her university. Owes part of her fame as a feminist speaker to Violet. Also owes part of her career as an author to her anonymous reviews of her books, though she doesn't know it.
Possible Motive: Dislikes the current attention Violet has brought on her, especially after being investigated temporarily by the authorities for some of the activities of her support group due to a report published in a local paper.
Alibli: Has been staying late to help out every evening this week with the next, uh, planned activity of her support group. No, you cannot come in their meeting room, sorry, no reason in particular, it's just that everything is already set up and uh, it's very busy- sorry, ignore the black smoke coming through the cracks in the door, that's just, um--
Juicy Secrets: Wishes to become a psychologist to help save women who are struggling in their lives, because she feels like it's her fault for not being able to help her younger sister before it was too late. Often helps young women with their relationship problems through morally questionable methods. Would lose her reputation as a professional if her secret career as a supernatural romance novelist was revealed. Can't eat spicy food. [Open to relationships/ties of any sort to other players/characters]

Name:
Anastasia Lynnette Thorne
Nicknames:
Known publicly as Stasia Thorne, but she goes by Ana
Age:
24
Gender:
Cis Female
Sexuality:
Heterosexual

tumblr_niraqlOEAJ1rwbssqo1_250.gifv

Role name:
The Ex Child Star
Personality:

At first glance, Ana seems to be the embodiment of sunshine. She is incredibly outgoing and finds it fairly easy to make friends wherever she is. She is almost always smiling and is incredibly energetic, which is mostly shown through the speed of her speech. This is actually more so due to her anxiety than anything else. She has a intense need to be perfect and to make people like her, which tends to put her in a constant state of stress. This also causes her to hide all of her emotions besides happiness, which isn't exactly a healthy coping mechanism. Despite this, she is incredibly affectionate and always sees the best in those around her, even if she doesn't believe they deserve it. She's never been one to have good friends, she doesn't let people in enough for that. She is used to being the support system for everyone around her, but rarely actually tells people what is going on in her life. Ana also appears to be fairly oblivious and the type of person who wouldn't know someone is hitting on her no matter what they do.

It is incredibly difficult to discern Ana's real personality from the one that is for show though. Every once in a while, she will make sarcastic or sassy comments that people tend to be shocked at, so then she has to go on damage control. Throughout the rp, as she gets more comfortable with people (or more nervous), you will see her begin to reveal more of her true personality. In reality, she is incredibly pessimistic and always on edge, especially around those she doesn't know. She doesn't trust people easily, so she is often lonely, since none of her "friends" know the real her. She also tends to assume that people want to use her for her fame, so she tries to keep any "real" relationships out of the public eye. She tends to be very sarcastic as well, since she never really got the chance to have an edgy teen phase.
Backstory:
Anastasia was born to a famous couple, so it was no surprise that she was thrust into the spotlight at an early age along with her siblings. She got her first real role when she was three, on a TV show comparable to Full House. Since then, she has been bouncing between TV, movies, and Broadway, but she's consistently kept her image squeaky clean. Every move she makes is monitored and every statement she makes is perfectly crafted. For the past few years, she has been struggling to find who she is, while still keeping her fans interested.
A blurb to go in the main post:
Anastasia Thorne has been a household name since she was a toddler, due to her lovable characters on many well known shows. As far as the world is concerned, she never grew up and she's determined to keep it that way. Known as TV's sweetheart, she has become obsessed with keeping her "role model" image. To those involved in the celebrity life, she is often known as a nuisance. She refuses to be seen near those who could tarnish her reputation and she is known to make her friends sign NDAs before they interact. She doesn't know what to do without her fame, but would she do anything to keep it?

Why are they at the party?:
Gwen and one of Ana's siblings had a romantic relation at one point. Ana (and her family) often will attend Gwen's parties so that she will keep that relationship a secret. Ana was the only one invited this time.
Experiences with Violet:
Violet has interviewed her a few times, but it's never been incredibly memorable. Ana is often encouraged not to be interviewed by Violet, as she tends to create drama.
Possible motive:
There is a rumor going around that Violet has a.......compromising video of Ana. Apparently, in this video she is intoxicated and hooking up with a married man. Of course, Ana doesn't know if she did this or not, because she was drunk that night.
Alibi:
Ana was working on the music for a friend's musical. She was at a private music studio the entire night.
Juicy secrets:
-Her older "sister", is actually her birth mother, but it was a teen pregnancy so Ana was taken in as her grandparent's child. No one knows this except their immediate family and their family doctors, who have all signed NDAs. Ana herself only found out last year.
-May have gone to an inpatient facility as a teen due to an eating disorder, that was encouraged by Disney executives. yikes.

- I'm open for her having a secret relationship
