Name: Jonas Salakko - Darth Gambol

Age: 26

Height: 5'8

Weight: 170

Eye color: Green

Hair style and color: Short brown hair, with a longer braid in the back

Side: Dark

Force strength: 5

Special Force Talent: Force Ardor - Even after embracing the dark side, Gambol's raw power in the force is mediocre. But raw power has never been his way of doing things; instead, he gets by with creativity, ingenuity and deceit. His specialty is a more powerful version of the Mind Trick which can effect even those of stronger wills, but cannot control them directly. Instead, the technique stirs violent frustration in others, subtly pushing them into giving into their darker impulses. He uses it in tandem with Dun Moch to force an opponent to act foolishly or recklessly until they give him an opening to exploit.

Lightsaber: An ordinary red blade with a single hilt. Gambol utilizes a modified variant of the Soresu lightsaber form - an odd choice for a sith, but its purpose becomes clear in battle. He uses Soresu's defensive prowess to keep himself safe, whilst flinging insults and taunts all the while. The ultimate goal is to make the opponent lose focus and make a mistake, which Gambol then needs only to strike at their weakness. He also improvises certain techniques that are still in line with Soresu's defensive nature, such as moving in such a way to that two opponents interfere with eachother's attacks, or using one as a human shield.

Appearance: Gambol wears only light armor, if any, preferring to remain light on his feet. His typical outfit is a dark grey suit with elegant trim and a half-cloak sewn on to one shoulder. His voice is youthful as are his facial features, and the ravages of the dark side seem to have spared his outward appearance - if only for the sake of further deception.

Personality: When Jonas was told not to do something, he did it. He does not embrace hate as is so popular among sith. Rather, he embraces selfishness, pride, and even joy (at the expense of others). Despite this, he often acts more cavalier than he truly is, playing the fool whilst being a clever duelist in secret.

Bio: Born to a pair of spacers who could not afford to support their child, Jonas' gift in the force was all that saved him from being sent to some backwater alien orphanage. Instead, the Jedi Order found him and took him in. Jonas was immediately bored out of his mind. Even though his parents had agreed to hand him over, it was always the jedi he truly blamed. They had so much power and potential, yet never used it, and this infuriated Jonas. He often thought they took themselves too seriously, and so would play minor pranks on them and the other students - they never complained, for his tricks were small and harmless.

But the temple housed a section of forbidden archives, and Jonas' second vice was to poke his nose where it didn't belong. It was there that he learned of the Sith teachings. With a bit of testing, prodding, stealthy sabotage, Jonas was able to frame one of the other students for the deed, who was then cast out from the order. There was no 'fall' for Jonas, not exactly; he simply decided that he wasn't content to waste his life in a temple - just like those forbidden records went to waste. One day, he took both himself and the records, and left. In time, he found others like himself, sith masters of his own. But like before, they took themselves so seriously, but at least they were more entertaining. So, taking on the name Gambol, he became the Jester of the sith, a test for those who claim to wield true wrath, or true serenity, for Gambol found he could make a mockery of both.
