So I'm curious to know what the anime fans on here think of Darling in the FranXX. From what I've seen the show has been kind of polarizing from the beginning due to the symbolism, and even fans are pretty mad at that end of season twist.
I'll watch anything Trigger does, so I gave it a go. Personally, I think it had a masterful 15 episodes and the rest just went downhill...but it's hard to articulate exactly why a lot of its storytelling decisions were SO BAD for me. Like...yes, they did foreshadow aliens, but that twist was just wrong. xD
