► Appearance : Dark olive skin, a cascade of chestnut locks, eyes dark as the night sky; Darlene has been told her entire adult life that her appearance can be used as a weapon. It's a source of strength as opposed to the rapier she acquired at her hip, confidence in favor of the armor she dons, power despite the magic she wields... and if she believed in fighting dirty, she might just listen to them.
► Personality : Darlene abides by her idea of what is right and good. It is not often that she strays from her beliefs and lashes out - unless an injustice is being performed. Very much neutral in the war, Darlene is holding out for the side that will do the most good and until that day comes, she will help out where she can, give what she has and protect the innocent. Self-reliant, Darlene has never depended on anyone to provide advice and resources other than herself. She graciously holds those of lower class than her in high esteem. Finally, she believes in fairness; basic human rights mean something to her, something she wishes is never deprived from any individual and if it means going against the law, the kingdom, the Prince... to uphold it, then so be it.

► Abilities :
XXX Rune Magic / Pama's Grimoire lists the instructions on how to create and use Rune Magic - the art of inking your skin and muttering the correct incantation for all sorts of elemental and physical outcomes. Darlene has spent the better part of her life perfecting the basics: a burst of wind that howls through the trees, ground tremors that shifts the earth, waves of water that pools around her feet, a ring of fire that protects those within. She's moved onto a much more challenging task: awakening the dead.
XXX Swordsmanship / Many sessions with Qrow have given her a very basic understanding of swordsmanship and how to duel. Still very much at a beginners level, Darlene is progressing slowly but surely in her stance and techniques.
XXX Spell Creation / Working with Pama, Darlene is acquiring the gift to create her own spells and tie them to Runes.
