Glossary

  • Ancilia: A defunct mercenary group that perished on Hyperborea.
  • Augmentations: Bioengineering often done to restore something lost, like a limb. That is not the only reason it is done, and "luxury" bioengineering exists to improve the human condition.
  • Danu: The Planet where the Dananns resided, and where a powerful being from another realm was sealed.
  • Dullahan: The Mecha of the universe, used across the universe. In the outer realms of space, mostly used by mercenaries and corporations.
  • Harmonia: A colony planet overrun by raiders in its history. They are attempting to rebuild.
  • Hyperborea: A planet assaulted by raiders, where the Ancilia fell.
  • Last Lights: In House Dullahan squad of the Tarpe Industries.
  • Leng: A planet nearer to the core of civilization, a huge city-planet.
  • Solstice: A planet taken over by Amergin, where four Dullahan Resistance pilots perished.
  • Space Station Theta: One of numerous space stations in the galaxy, but this is the one Casimir grew up on.
  • Wild Hunt: In-House Dullahan squad of the Amergin Corps.

Amergin Corporation

A massive intergalactic company specializing in Dullahans, although they don't limit themselves to that. They are known to dabble in human bio-engineering, although they keep most of that tied to their subsidiary company Eremon, which most people forget is associated with Amergin.

Amergin brings civilization to planets on the outskirts, like Solstice, giving the people there a fighting chance against nature, and opening up trade routes wherever they go. Many planets have accepted Amergin's presence and allowed them to establish a sort of governmental oversight position, due to Amergin's expansive knowledge of intergalactic trade and politics. These planets have always flourished under Amergin, and so colony planets tend to seek Amergin out to take up residence there, for the promise of prosperity.

Amergin has many Dullahan lines, but tends to specialize in light-to-medium models, with a current emphasis on stealth. All models, however, are known for their expansive neurological connectors and the way they can feel almost "human" to pilots, thanks in large part to the work of Eremon. Amergin intends to make Dullahans feel like an extension of the pilot.

Eremon Inc
Eremon: Claim your heirship.

A bio-engineering company that is swirling with conspiracy theories on the dark Net, but is generally well-liked. They've patented several vaccines, medicines, limbs, organs, and they have a luxury line of augmentations as well. All claims of wrongdoing, inhumane experiments, and other such rumors have never been proven true.

It's well known that the members of the Wild Hunt, save for "Gentle Annie", use Eremon augmentations without needing them, as a way to promote precisely how much better they can make a person.

Wild Hunt

The Wild Hunt is Amergin's security unit. There are currently twelve members, though they don't have a solid limit. Thirteen just never seem to make it. They are led by Hellekin.

1. Hellekin
2. Count Arnau
3. Herla
4. Woden
5. Arawn
6. Gentle Annie
7. Perchta
8. King Vold
9. Rysserova
10. Lady of the Game
11. Wild Edric
12. Guthlac

Tarpe Industries

Named after the bloody history of the Tarpeian Rock, Tarpe is one of the most powerful intergalactic mega corporations and is infamous for its largely militaristic attitude and ‘honourable traditions’. Tarpe, at least on paper, can stand proud amongst the other mega corporations as the sole pillar of righteousness and honour in a sea of sleazy vultures. Now, there are those amongst Tarpe’s many employees who fully believe this lie. It’s not uncommon for Tarpe to supply people they are about to crush with weapons to ‘even the playing field’ before turning up and destroying them anyway. That’s about half the people who work for Tarpe. The other half are fully aware of the lie and just either don’t care or enjoy the excuse. There is as much subterfuge and underhanded play coming from this corporation as any other, they just don’t wear it on their sleeve as much. Finally there are the select few who actually are honourable… but don’t count on them for anything, not when they’re so vastly outnumbered.

Tarpe is always famously butting heads with Amergin, who have been deemed unworthy of their respect. Just another excuse to shed that flimsy shield of honour they hide behind.

The main Dullahan squad for Tarpe are the ‘Last Lights’, and are led by L.l Shasta.
