Personality: In multiple series of chess he has become quite intelligent,always knowing what next move would be played and how to force any game to go his way, he would always think 10 moves ahead of anyone and is quick to think when stress gets into him, but not to say that stress doesn't get him, he would usually want to think things through and prefers taking his time in situations, thinking of all possible ways the outcome would come out, not only in chess but in normal day to life situations, he would usually take things seriously but at times he would let his shield down and stay care-free, he would usually be a rude type of person but most of what he says are unintentional, but most of the times when he notices it he wouldn't really apologize unless it's someone close to him,but he is still good at heart, he is still extremely proper and would usually stay this way unless he is annoyed at something.He is sociable but only when certain topics interest him,most light conversations wouldn't interest him but when talking about topics he does like would lead to hefty conversations that would leave anyone too tired to continue the conversations, he likes most strategy things and tends to excel in it.

Bio: Not much can be truly said about him, growing up in a middle-class family and being a single child, he tends to get bored quite a bit, his parent would usually leave him with his grandmother due to both working most of the time he would usually sit around or talk to his grandmother, soon at the age of 7 his grandmother introduced him to chess, he immediately fell in love with it, he always played with his grandmother and at times with her other friends, soon from a steady win and lose game quickly became a game he would win most of the time, his grandmother and her friends were astonished by how quickly he tend to beat him that they started to ask his parent for permission for them to come with them to the elderly home and play with the other, there were almost no reason for them to say no and soon more challengers came to him, this was the most fun he had in years and enjoyed the conversations he had with the elderly, but at the age of 10 his grandmother passed away to an illness, this left him to stay at home with a babysitter, one he wasn't too fond of, he spent alot of his time playing chess by himself and he got bored quickly, at the age of 12 he joined chess club that was in his school, once again going back to his root of playing chess with others, the teacher that ran the club soon noticed his great ability in chess and asked his parents to let him be in a tournament, once again his parents agreed, now this wasn't a simple kids tournament, he had to face off many kinds of people, alot of the were acounted as chessmaster, Daichi beated them easily and this got the intrest of Hope's Peak Academy, soon once he was at age for highschool he got a letter ftom Hope's Peak asking him to join the school, he had no reason why not to agree so he decided to agree.
