  She has fair skin with red hair. She always has her crest (Purple Gladiolus flower) imprinted somewhere on her person, else she would have a Gladiolus flower in her hair. It is not rare to find her wearing armor she crafted as it is free advertisement.
  
  
  Personality
  
  She has a fiery spirit, energetic, and loves challenges. She is not afraid to speak her mind. She is easily agitated and is quick to start fights. She is always trying to improve the value of her family name and will do anything to from bending the truth to hiding negative events in her past. She has a love for coin like her father and will gladly take special request in her shop for the extra fee.

  Leala is an only child who is the daughter of a blacksmith and a noble. The marriage was a secret arranged as payment for a shipment of armor for an elite guard. Her mother hated the deal, but was forced because of her family customs. Despite being treated well by her husband, she still held herself as nobility and never respected him because he was a lower class. Her father was not happy about the deal either, preferring coin over a love life. The only reason he agreed was because he was promised that she would give birth to a son that could be his successor. After giving birth to Leala, her mother lost the ability to give birth which seriously upset her father. The father bought his wife a floral shop and had his wife live there with their daughter ask the shop owner.
  
  
  While living with her mother, Leala was taught about the important of your family name. Her mother would train and dress her as a noble so that the mother could keep a high image and hid the fact that her father was not of nobility. Life was easy for Leala but it was always boring. Leala and her friends would play with expensive dolls and have fancy tea parties. Leala played along but was never really interested. This made her very popular among the other girls, and ironically gave her a true noble image. The only days she would enjoy where the days her father visited the floral shop.
  
  
  Her father would visit the shop 4 days out of the year and bring Leala a present. These presents ranged from dolls to dresses to pretty gems. On Leala 5th birthday Leala asked her father what kind of noble he was. All she knew that he was a busy man because her mother never spoke about him. His father hesitated to answer and looked at her mother. Her Mother responded that he was a Duke from another country. Her father went along with the guise only to please his wife. Leala tried to ask more questions, but her mother lost her composure and quickly forced Leala father to leave. Leala realized something was wrong and decided she was going to see her father.
  
  
  The next day Leala sneaked out of the floral shop and found her father’s metal smith shop. Her father was little angry and threaten to take her back but backed down after Leala begged him to let her stay. She learned the truth behind her father and took interest in his career. Every day she would sneak and visit her father and learn his trade. When she turned 10 her mother found out and attempted to stop her. Leala express how she hated acting like a noble and she wanted to make things like her dad. After a long talk she agreed to let Leala officially become his apprentice if he would do the mother a favor in the future.
  
  
  Leala new life became more demanding. She had to learn how to cook, clean, and practice metal smiting. This stole a lot of her free time at first, and she lost connections to most of her noble friends. Upon learning she was not a noble, they called her names, insulted her name, and even pushed her around. She would cry to her father but there was nothing he could do about it. They were noble children and he would be sent to prison if he said something. It became so bad that she stop leaving the shop. Her father told her that she does not need noble friends, with hard work, practice, and the right amount of coin, even the king would want to be your friend and that she was very skilled. Leala decide from then on that she would become the most famous person in her country, and she would bring the name of Gladiolus into nobility.
  
  
  A few years later, Leala mom came to the shop to collect her favor. The father handed the shop over to Leala and left with the mother never to be seen again. Nobody knows what happen to them, but if you asked Leala all she will say is they are coming back. A lie she tells her self every night.

  Back when I was 16. A client walked into the shop asking for knife he ordered a week ago. I apologized to the man and proceed to check my father’s records to find it was in the storage room inside a box. I spent a good hour looking for the stupid box hahaha. My father was never great at organizing. How he ever found anything... *Imagines her father looking for his records*
  
  
  Oh sorry about that. Where was I... *she pounds her fist in her palm* Oh yea, So I took out the box and brought it to the client, and when I returned, another man walked in. The client whispered something to the man and he walked up to me. My father always told me to never show fear, so I ignored them and handed the knife to the client. The client examined the weapon and smiled. He said something about it missing something but I wasn’t listening. My father’s records showed the weapon to be complete, and who knew more about weapons then my father. *She laughed arrogantly.* As I walked into the back room, the man grabbed me and held me down. I reached for my sword but the client slid it away. Then he waved the knife in my face. *She lowered her head and put on a grim smile.* That was a mistake he would never make again.
  
  
  As soon as he stopped moving the dagger, I head butted the man behind me causing him to release me. I then picked up my sword and cut off the client’s hand. I stabbed the other guy in the arm. *She made sound affects as she pretended to fight an imaginary man.* Both of them left my father’s shop crying never to return hahaha. And that’s how I, the heroine, succeeded in warding off the shop thieves.
  
  
  So what happen to my eye you asked. Oh, haha, funny thing, I was running to a client’s house and tripped over a rock while holding a newly crafted sword and... cut my face....

Needs Revision!

Hello, Unyielding! Thank you for creating and submitting such a lovely character! I noticed a few issues that need to be addressed before your character is accepted into the roleplay. Your concept is great, and your writing example is interesting, but you have a few inconsistencies here and there, especially in grammar. Be sure to read through your posts and correct any grammar or punctuation errors so that nothing gets lost in translation! Aside from that, there are a few things about the character that need a bit more consideration. In this world, everyone commits some sort of sin, whether it be small lies or envy someone's life and so forth. Laela might be bad at telling lies, but that doesn't mean she wouldn't tell a lie. Define in her history a bit more about any struggles she may have with sin. Also, go into detail as to why her former friends abandoned and bullied her. Was it because she no longer wished to spend time with them due to her new apprenticeship, or was it because she was learning how to smith? When friends bully a friend, it should have a greater impact, especially if the friendships were long standing. It always hurts to know someone you cared for no longer cares for you.
