All Characters will be posted here using the template provided. Extra information about each section is under the cut as well. I'll give it a read over and if you're accepted I'll let you know and you may begin posting. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me!

The Character Template is pretty straightforward. But I'll outline some points of interest.

  • Species indicates whether or not the character you're playing is a Human or Daemon.
  • Age is pretty simple, but Daemons are effectively immortal and have existed before the dawn of man. A lot of them are pretty old, but you're more than welcome to make a younger Daemon if you'd like.
  • Partner name is where you'd put the name of your Daemon partner if you're a Human and vice versa. You aren't required to have a partner if you don't want, so you can just put N/A there. Or 'None'
  • Threat Rating is the Rating of your Daemon/Daemon Partner.
  • Occupation is a job if you have one. Or if you're a Student you can put that there too. You can also leave this blank if you really need to.
  • Under appearance, you need to write a detailed description of the way you AND the partner that you have looks. Images aren't required, but they're highly encouraged.
  • Powers and Skills requires a detailed explanation of the kind of powers your Daemons uses. What they do, etc. You would also put any kind of skills or powers that your Human would use, but only if they fight alongside their Daemon. You MUST state under each attack how much it effects Daemons of each rank C-S except for Kaijiu. Essentially you're making a Move set like you'd see for Pokemon.
  • For the sake of clarity. All Damage MUST use the following scale when you are describing your attack's effects on different Daemon Ratings.

    Minimal: Almost no Damage at all.
  • Light: Barely noticable Damage. Easy to ignore.
  • Moderate: A regular amount of damge. Noticable, but does not usually impede movement unless applied to a limb.
  • Heavy: Very noticable damage. Impedes movement. Cannot be ignored often requires immediate attention.

Swordsmanship: Lorette is an accomplished Fencer and has proven to be more than formidable with her blade. Never one to sit idly on the sidelines, anyone challenging Lorette directly and expecting to have an easy time of it is promptly given a trip to the Hospital for their efforts. Don't let the suit and tie fool you, Lorette is more than ready to bloody her hands and all of you, should you step out of line. S-Rated Daemons take Light Damage from Lorette's blade strikes.  A-Rated Daemons take Moderate Damage. C-Rated Daemons will suffer Heavy damage.


Who's the Boss?: Lorette's icy demeanor can sometimes inspire nervouseness in regular people outside of combat. But when utilizing Tasosael's innate powers, the ability is amplified. S-Rated opponents will suffer only a 1.5% debuff to their overall power. A-Rated oppnents will suffer a 3% Decrease to their overall power. C-Rated Daemons will suffer a 7% Decrease to their overall power and have an increased chance to be intimidated and unable to attack. Lasts until the battle ends or Lorette in knocked unconcious.


Intimidating Roar: Tasosael unleashes an earth-shaking roar loud enough to burst eardrums and disorient S-Rated Daemons. A-Rated Daemons will be rendered unable to attack due to fear. C-Rated Daemons will attempt to flee from Battle.


Claw Swipe:Tasosael will rake his opponent with Razor sharp claws, dealing increased damage with each successive strike. S-Rated Daemons will suffer Moderate damaage and bleeding damage that will eventually stop over time. A-Rated Daemons will suffer Moderate damage and bleeding damage that will not stop but not get any worse. C-Rated Daemons will take Heavy damage and bleeding damage that will increase in seerity the longer they try to fight.


Buffeting winds: Tasosael flaps his wings, kicking up a massive wind. S-Rated Daemons are stopped mid advance and cannot move from their place. A-Rated Daemons are stopped mid advance and pushed back. C-Rated Daemons are stopped mid advance and sent toppling over.


Cutting Gale: Tasosael's wings flap hard enough to create blades of wind, all of them striking enemies in a frontal cone 10 yards in length and 30 yards across at the widest point.. S-Rated Daemons are buffeted and suffer Light Bleeding Damage that fades over time. A-Rated Daemons are pushed back and suffer Moderate Bleeding Damage that doesn't fade but does not worsen. C-Rated Daemons are knocked over and suffer Heavy Bleeding Damage that will worsen over time. Because this attack is a frontal cone, the area of effect is wider the farther the way an opponent is from Tasosael, but it doesn't hit at full strenghth at the farthest point from Tasosael.







Weapons:


Tactical Sword: A specially forged blade that is popular with many Daemon Battlers. It is both remarkably light and wickedly sharp, capable of dealing significant wounds to even notably sturdy Daemons.

Personality:


Lorette


Lorette Lècuyer is known to be both fiercely ambitious and intelligent, and at first glance seems to be rigid in her bearing and possesses a rather cool demeanor. Her voice is noticeably deep and her mere presence commands the respect of those under her. The Media has never been sure what to make of Lorette both framing her as a Paragon of Humanity and a greed driven Corporate Executive in equal measure. Lorette shrugs this off with practiced measure, caring of her public opinion only enough to remain on the general public's good side. Past outward glances Lorette has proven to be both patient and kind, speaking openly with any that would ask for her time. She believes fully in the potential of others and takes great pains to nurture that potential to the fullest in all that serve under her. Many have found her presence to be both calming and reassuring, though there is a noticeable intensity in both her gaze and mannerisms. Despite her constant efforts to see her own ambitions brought to fruition, Lorette operates by a strict code of honor and conduct and has a strong dislike of underhanded tactics, something virtually unheard of in the Corporate Sector. However due to both necessity for such behavior and Tasosael's own urging, Lorette often finds herself engaging in the same dirty tactics she despises due to their deep entrenchement in her type of business. This has become a moral dilemmia for her and she often broods over it as a result.


Lorette, however has no qualms in combating anyone that stands in the way of her ambitions, whatever they may be. Be it in the Boardroom, or if she's allowed to have her way, the Arena, anyone that disagrees with her is considered both an opponent and an obstacle to be removed in short order. Lorette cannot abide by failure, either personal or from her Employees and will cast aside anyone unable to prove their worth to her without a second thought. Apex Implementations has always, and will always be her driving force and only concern. Lorette works tirelessly to push the Company towards a brighter future and is more than willing to leave behind anyone she has deemed unfit to see it.


Tasosael: 


It is currently unknown how old Tasosael is, but he is rumored to have existed since the dawn of Human Civilization. Tasosael is not one for conversation and tends to be aloof, speaking only at length to Lorette and only to others when absolutely needed though he has proven to be vey intelligent and well spoken. He has a particular interest in Human Politics and often wonders both aloud and privately how such a system might be applied to the masses of Daemons on Earth. These opinions are especially strange when his partnership with Lorette is taken into consideration and neither of them make any effort to explain what they get out of it beyond the usual benefits of a Human/Daemon partnership. 


Like Lorette, Tasosael operates on a Code of Conduct, those his is not nearly as rigid as Lorette's. Nor does he lose sleep over the possibility of cheating someone. A Pragmatist at the core, the Daemon can and will employ questionable methods to achieve his goals, though his partnership with Lorette can make that difficult sometimes. A lover of combat and an accomplished warrior, Tasosael wishes that Lorette would take part in more a battles and can be quite moody if not allowed to fight. Tasosael can only make the distinction of those who are worthy, and those who are unworthy. Anyone claiming to have worth, should be ready and waiting to prove it at a moment's notice.


When he is not projecting a physical form, Tasosael retreats into the Tactical Sword that Lorette keeps tied at her hip.







History


How Lorette came to acquire Apex Implementations is crouched in both mystery and conjecture. Before taking the helm as the corporation's CEO, Apex had been a family owned business since the day of its inception. At some point before his death, the aging CEO David Buckley saw to it that all of the Company holdings and assets were turned over to Lorette the current CEO of the smaller Private Security Company, Waylight Security. In the process he passed over his four children, leaving them angry and confused. But none more so than his eldest son, Harlan Buckley. The ensuing legal battle was incredibly ugly, but Lorette never once faltered and was ultimately victorious.


Legally, the acquisition was airtight, and despite their digging, the Buckley family could not find a single loose end. On paper, all it seemed was that one CEO had passed his assets off to a qualified candidate within the same business as him.


Behind closed doors, the rumors only flew.


Lorette was both a stranger and an outsider. And never before had she been observed doing business with David Buckley. Her appearance around the time of his death and subsequently absconding with his business was a severe point of contention. Lorette was presumed everything from the dead man's Mistress to his Illegitimate Daughter and whatever could possibly lie between. Her silence on the matter only served to infuriate the Buckley Family even more.


And yet despite all this Apex Implementations only continued to grow and flourish under Lorette's guidance and remains a major force within the Corporate sector. Lorette's own company, Waylight Security is now the main subsidiary and has become the Security force within Apex while the business branches out into other avenues. David Buckley's family had long since grown silent, but some wonder if they might return again. David's eldest son, Harlan swore that he would one day take back from Lorette what she'd stolen from his family and has thus far not forgotten that promise despite having yet to act on it.


Lorette met Tasosael over 8 years ago while on a Business trip to China. It is currently unknown what transpired between the two of them while she was there, but an accord was met and the Daemon has not left her side ever since.

Powers/Skills


 


Silk Handkerchiefs: Allister does not utilize traditional weaponry in combat and instead uses an assortment of silk handkerchiefs to disorient and bind foes, leaving them open to assault. Each handkerchief has been infused with Faendr's own power and cannot be destroyed by regular means.


Mesmerizing Dance: Allister performs a graceful dance, waving a streamer of handkerchiefs to and fro. The Dance disorients foes and leaves them unable to attack. S-Rated Daemons are unable to attack for 3 seconds. A-Rated Daemons are unable to attack for 5 seconds. C-Rated Daemons are unable to attack for 7 seconds.


Etheral Fog: Faendr's presence causes an Etheral Fog to settle over the battlefield, decreasing visibility and causing attacks from opponents to hit less often. S-Rated Daemons 5% less accurate. A-rated Daemons are 8% less accurate. C-Rated Daemons are 12% less accurate. Lasts until the battle is over or until Faendr has been knocked unconcious.


Flash step: Faendr teleports towards an enemy within 15 yards in a flash of light and assaults the blinded enemy in a flurry of hooves and antlers. S-Rated Daemons suffer Light Damage. A-Rated Daemons suffer Moderate Damage. C-Rated Daemons suffer Heavy damage.


Antler Gore: Faendr charges their opponent and gores them with their antlers. S-rated Daemons take Moderate Damage and suffer bleed damage that stops eventually. A-Rated Daemons take Moderate Damage and suffer bleed damage that does not worsen over time. C-rated Daemons take Heavy Damage and suffer bleed damage that worsens over time.







Personality


Allister: 


Allister carries himself with a great deal of refinement, though unlike Lorette, Allister tends to be more easygoing and approachable. Polite and affable, Allister enjoys conversation at length and will often invite others to Tea in order to engage in idle chatter. Allister has a deep appreciation for beautiful things, and tends to be fastidious in the manner in which he dresses and conducts himself in public. This along with a particular charm tends to draw people to him like moths to a flame, though he doesn't mind. He would describe himself as 'charismatic' but close friends often refer to him as an attention whore. This coupled with his insistence on maintaining a certain aesthetic causes Allister to bump heads with less than refined employees of Apex, and on more than one occasion Lorette has had to step in and reign in his behavior. 


Allister is a fervent believer in Lorette's ambitions, and sees the introduction of Daemons into society as a step towards a bright and glorious future for Humanity as a whole. As such he is more than happy to enforce Lorette's will if it means bringing those that would stand in the way of this future to heel. Such is his willingness to enact his Employer's orders that Allister seems more akin to a Priest spreading Gospel to an unwilling flock, than the CEO's Personal Assitant. His even temper and refined attitude would not cause one to immediately peg Allister as being combat oriented, nor does he carry and weaponry like other Apex employees and yet this does not make him any less dangerous. He and his Daemon are both of the opinion that fighting is not an act of violence, so much as it is an artful display meant to be observed by all. A display that Allister is more than happy give whether the recipient is willing or not.


Faendr: 


This Daemon takes on the form of a ghostly Stag, and indeed their passing is marked by an etheral fog settling over the area. Like Allister, Faendr is overly concerned with keeping appearances and dignity. As such, Faendr strictly judges other Daemons based upon the physical forms that they choose to take and has no love for those deemed too hideous or unrefined for their company. Faendr can be somewhat stern, and is rather standoffish towards anyone that isn't Allister. Unlike their Human partner, Faendr will not be seen speaking at great length with anyone over tea, though they do enjoy the attention of others especially any kind of praise. The Daemon enjoys being in the spotlight and showing off and so they will not be found turning down the opportunity to fght. Faendr sees the Arena as nothing more than a stage and will dance around their foes in combat, always to the thunderous roar of the crowd.


When they are not manifesting a physical form, Faendr resides in a Stag shaped pin on Allister's lapel.





History


Allister was born to working class parents int he city of Arnvista and while their life was not particularly glamorous, the young boy did not want for anything. Despite this Allister dreamed of far more than what his humble beginnings afforded him. Even as a young boy he was drawn to Daemon Battling, his eyes glued to the thelevision whenver one aired. Allister was not drawn to the violence of the sport, but instead the paegantry surrounding it and would imagine himself preforming to a roaring crowd. There were many nights that Allister would sit at his bedroom window and stare at the twinkling lights of Arnvista's many skyscrapers and wondered if there would come a day that he would shine as brightly.


It was during a trip to the park during a lovely Spring day that Allister met Faendr. The Boy was immediately drawn to the Stag's etheral form and  stunning presence, much to the Daemon's chagrin. Faendr attempted to shoo Allister away with little success as they boy promptly declared that they were friends. The Stag's irritation was somewhat alleviated by the boy's constant awe and assurances that Faendr was 'the prettiest Daemon in the world' and over time and after many daily visits the Daemon came to tolerate Allister. Since that day the two have been inseperable, and even now Faendr will say that they can only barely stand to be around Allister. However to any that would be lucky enough to hear them say it, Faendr values Allister's companionship above all other's.

Mixed Martial Arts: Audrey is versed in several Martial Arts and will assault opponents with powerful unarmed strikes. Utilizing Sanzir's Flames, her punches and kicks recieve a significant increase in damage. If Audrey cannot close the distance between herself and her opponent, she will call upon Sanzir to swoop down and unleash devastating attacks upon them.


Blazing Barrage: Audrey assaults her opponent in an unseen flurry of flame wreathed punches and kicks. S-Rated Daemons take Light Damage and have any attacks they were preparing interrupted. A-Rated Daemons take Moderate Damage and will be stunned for 3 seconds. C-Rated Daemons will take Heavy Damage and be stunned for 5 seconds.


Flame Aura: Sanzir envelopes themselves Audrey in an Aura of their supernatural flames. Close proximity to either of them during battle will result in Light Damage untill their opponents moves a safe distance away. This Damage stacks and will worsen the longer foes remain in close proximity to either Audrey on Sanzir. This effect remains active until the Battle ends or Sanzir is knocked unconcious.





Explosive Powder: Sanzir's feathers will sometimes spread clouds of a highly combustible powder over the area, and they will flap their wings to create gusts of wind that can move them around the Battlefield. When ignited by Sanzir, the powder erupts in a massive explosion dealing damage to opponents. S-Rated Daemons take Moderate Damage. A-Rated Daemons take Moderate Damage and are knocked over. C-Rated Daemons take Heavy Damage and are knocked over.


Razor Quills: Sanzir flaps their wings furiously, releasing a barrage of razor sharp feathers. All targets struck suffer Bleeding Damage. S-Rated Daemons suffer Bleeding Damage that eventually fades over time. A-Rated Daemons suffer Bleeding Damage that does not fade, but does not worsen. C-Rated Daemons suffer Bleeding damage that begins to worsen the longer they fight.


Phoenix Nova: Sanzir will unleash a blast of heat that covers the Battlefield. S-Rated Daemons take Moderate damage. A-Rated Daemons take Modertate Damage and their attacks will be interrupted. C-Rated Daemons will take Heavy Damage and they will be stunned for 3 seconds.




PERSONALITY 


AUDREY 


Hot-Blooded and unyielding, Audrey Kinnaird is a force to be reckoned with on and off the battlefield. The woman's crass manner is abrasive to many, but those that truly know her speak highly of her loyalty and unwavering conviction. Audrey is significantly more casual in manner and behavior than her coworkers, often not bothering with honorifics or titles. Because of this, she is by far the most approachable of her team. She is loud to talk and quick to boast, and even quicker to come to blows with those that have wronged her. Audrey has always preferred to punch first and ask questions later, much to the chagrin of her superiors. But her heart has always been in the right place, and the woman's actions are always motivated by the desire to do right by those around her.

True to form, Audrey is a fighter at heart and is always looking for a means to test her strength. Audrey is well versed in several Martial Arts and when she utilizes Sanzir's ever burning flames, she is capable of delivering devastating unarmed strikes with hands and feet wreathed in fire.


SANZIR


Sanzir, much like Audrey is very friendly and they are quite empathetic to others. A chatterbox to the core, the large bird will talk to anyone and everyone, regardless of if they're listening or not. Sanzir is best described as a 'creature driven by emotion' and they feel very strongly about many things. Never one to do anything half way, Sanzir fully believes that if one gives all that they are, others will do so in return. This is very well illustrated in their personal bond with their Human partner. Sanzir understands Audrey in a way no one else can and vice versa. They play best off of each other's feelings in the midst of battle, and such is their connection that Sanzir does not require verbal commands or even gestures to understand what Audrey requires of them.

When they are not manifesting their physical form, Sanzir retreats into a tattoo on Audrey's back that depicts a Phoenix with wings outstretched.







HISTORY


 


Audrey is fairly recent hire of Apex implementations, joining only a scant year and a half ago. She caught Lorette's eye during a particularly grueling Daemon Title Match and though both Audrey and Sanzir's spirits burned brightly that day, they were ultimately defeated. While Audrey was rather despondent about the loss, Lorette saw in the younger woman great promise and even greater power. Never one to miss out on a profitable opportunity, the CEO was quick to bring Audrey on board and had her placed directly under the watchful eye of her Chief of Security as an intern. Since then Audrey has been promoted to a Junior Officer, and answers to the Chief of Security and in the event of his absence, his Lieutenant.

PERSONALITY


NIKHIL


Nikhil is a soft-spoken man and is not one to be overly emotional. He does, however, tend to ramble on excitedly when speaking about his points of interest, and will easily talk the ear off of anyone that will listen. Nikhil's research into Daemons and all corresponding technology keeps him very busy and he has little time for socializing. Though he is well mannered and polite, Nikhil can be overwhelmingly blunt to the point of rudeness and on more than once occasion has a joke flown completely over his head. Despite this, or because of it, other members of Lorette's core team can often be seen coming and going from Nikhil's Lab to bother him. These spontaneous visits would irritate him greatly at first, but over the years he has grown accustomed to them and now enjoys them a great deal though he'd never openly admit it.

Nikhil is not a combatant by his own choice, though when he was first hired Lorette did stress the importance of learning the ins and outs of Daemon battling to better understand them. Since then Nikhil has become better versed in fighting alongside a Daemon, though he and his partner prefer operate in a defensive manner rather than go on the offensive.

The Visor that Nikhil wears was specifically created to better track the separate movements of Eson's 20 arms as doing so without it leaves him disoriented and sometimes makes him ill. The Visor is indispensable both in and out of battle, as it feeds the Engineer a constant stream of data from his surroundings and aids in his research and as such he is rarely seen out of it.


ESON


An oddity even by the standards of Daemons, Eson is known to be both infuriatingly vague and prone to overwhelming others with mountains of information at the same time. Like Nikhil, Eson is remarkably brilliant and seeks knowledge unheard of before. Eson is like most Daemons in that all they know about Humanity comes from strict observation over a long period of time. When Humanity and Daemons first came together in an effort to gain a better understanding of each other, Eson was very excited, eager to finally gain a hands-on understanding of Humans. It is for this reason that they work so well with Nikhil and eagerly answers all the man's questions so long as he answers theirs in turn. Together the two of them have made massive strides towards better bridging the gap between their two species and are constantly working towards building a bright future for both Humans and Daemonkind

As far as appearances go, Eson rests at the upper limits of the Humanity's ability to comprehend the incomprehensible. Eson possesses 20 humanoid arms, each one moving and acting of its own accord and claims that manifesting any more would render any Human that looked upon them completely mad.

Like Nikhil, Eson does not engage in combat often and devotes their time to study and research alongside their Human partner, only fighting to garner information used to further the pair's study on the capabilities on Daemons in general. In battle, Eson uses their many limbs to grapple opponents and deflect strikes rather than outwardly attacking. Their vast number of limbs are also disorienting to Human opponents, and their constant movements can be disorienting as Humans cannot focus on each one separately.

When they are not manifesting a physical form, Eson retreats into the Visor that Nikhil is often seen wearing. If not that, Eson will retreat into a simple Tungsten ring that Nikhil wears on his right hand.

Appearance: Seitsu used to be a monk, practicing muay thai, so his body is perfected, nearly to the human limits. He wears traditional orange monk robes. Though for fighting, he strips down to nothing but black boxing shorts.


He is of Asian descent. His skin is a light tan color. His hair is kept short, nearly shaved bald. His eyes are angular and brown, a look of defiance in them.


His partner Porm is a high C ranked daemon. His form is generally that of a small mechanical dragon. He's not much bigger than a large dog. Porm preferes to not be too large and unwieldy.


He has a slim body, oddly lithe for a mechanical machination, almost snake-like. Complex gears and connectors allow him to create incredibly fluid movements and complex facial expressions. He reaches about thirteen feet in length, his tail is half of that, which he uses to manipulate every day objects, like opening doors and such. He has fairly short legs, with short, sharp claws at the ends of his toes, two to a leg. His head has a triangular shape to it, his yellow eyes matching that shape. His body has a dull blue matte finish to it.



Threat Rating: High C rank


Weapons: Seitsu's only weapon is a pair of chain mail gauntlets and his superior body.



Power/skills:


Absolute Defense: Porm hardens his body.


This can absorb hits from even tough A ranked attacks.


Metallic Protrusion: Porm reforms his body, extending bits of his metallic body, creating blades, claws, hooks or other small contraptions.


This is effective to only equal ranked monsters, though those above him, even in the same rank, feel it's effects less. It has some effect to most A ranked daemons, and is used mostly to hold things in place, such as an arm or blade.


Computational Information: By using his mechanical body, and changing it's setup, Porm can even create circuitry. He uses this during battle to monitor specifics about Seitsu's own body, but can also gather information about his enemy's weak spots and find patterns of attack.


Against all but the highest C ranked daemons, the level of information gathered is enough to easily defeat them using minimal effort from other special attacks. From A ranked daemons, basic vitals can be monitored, and with a long drawn out fight, fighting patterns can start to be observed and countermeasures can be formed. Against S ranked daemons, he'll be lucky to figure out even information about their vitals. And unless they fight for days, figuring out fighting patterns is unlikely.

Appearance: She appears as a young girl. By human standards, she would be between 14-15 years old. She has light skin, flawless and free of any blemishes. Her green eyes convey innocence and kindness. The only odd thing about her is her hair, which is incredibly long. She stands at about 4 feet tall, but her hair is twice that, though it never seems to get caught on anything, or pick up any dirt from dragging on the floor. Her hair is a glowing blonde, straight and flowing, eternally free of tangles and split ends. It's the envy of any girl.


Her clothes, a loose pink tee shirt, a couple sizes too large, and black jeans, also seem eternally free from dirt and stains. Her shoes, black velvet on top of pink soles, is similar.


Her face is young, by human standards, beautiful even. Her eyes are large and round, and her cheeks are plump, pinchable.

Power/skills: She contains an ability to manipulate the make up of individual atoms, adding or subtracting protons, electron, and the like. Literally able to turn lead into gold. She can use this to turn air into various elements, and combine those elements to create objects, like tables or clothes, so she can make it seem like she can create objects out of nothing.


Though she can even manipulate organic matter, such as humans, this doesn't apply to daemons. Though she got her kaiju status in the void through her sheer physical strength and speed. She can move so fast that she seems like she's teleporting to all but the very fastest of S ranked daemons.


Her strength is so great, there isn't a single known material she can't crush by using nothing but her finger and thumb, let alone what would happen if she tried punching something at full force.

Appearance:


Wren is small, taking the general form of a young woman and clocking in around the average height of such.  While more or less humanoid in shape, she more closely resembles a giant bird, with small iridescent feathers coating her entire body.  As the feathers descend lower down her upper body, they lengthen into tail feathers that fan out around her, creating the illusion of a short dress.  They cut off a little below her knees but are supplemented in the back by the trail of her wings’ flight feathers.  The wings are narrow and severe triangles, starting from her upper back, between her shoulder blades and extending down to about the middle of the calf at the tips of the longest flight feathers.


The upper half of her face is covered by a dark blue, almost black helmet, wrapping securely and lying almost flat against her skull.  It covers most of her hair, which reappears at the back of her head where the helmet ends, stopping at her upper back, just above where her wings start.  As it continues over the top of her head toward her face, the helmet wraps into a half-mask, curving off when it reaches her cheek bones and encircling her eyes.  It doesn’t cover her eyes though, and the spaces left in the mask make them appear bigger than they are.  At the top of the bridge of where her nose would be, the mask ridges and tapers far past the end of her nose into the sharp upper half of a beak.


While the feathers on her arms give way at the wrists to human hands, at the ends of her legs are four large talon tipped toes.  The talons themselves are long and wickedly sharp, the same midnight blue as the mask, the toes and bare leg soft orange.  Despite the generally fragile look of her, even the down covering her body is deceptively strong, acting as armor, shining under the sun like polished metal.


Personality:


Wren is an incredibly curious individual, wanting to know everything about everything.  It generally doesn’t matter what the subject is, if she finds there’s something about the topic she doesn’t understand or feels she needs clarification on, she’ll do anything she can to find out, regardless of how her methods may affect others.  If it means learning something new, she’ll even go so far as to harm others, though usually inadvertently.


Despite her apparent disregard for the wellbeing of those weaker than her, Wren usually doesn’t actually mean to be a harmful presence.  More often, it’s that she forgets that not everyone has the resilience of a Kaiju and simply assumes that anyone in her way will turn out alright in the end or, in her endless excitement, forgets that there are even other people around to get hurt.  She’s not above excessive destruction, however, should it be with the purpose of testing or discovery, and will deliberately harm others if she thinks there’s something to be gained from it.


For the most part, she complies with the laws set down by Humans because it is most convenient for her to be allowed to stay where she is.  She also feels that there is a lot she can learn about and from Humanity in general, and so does not wish to be forced to leave.


Because of her love of learning, she spends most of her time exploring the various informational attractions in the Entertainment District, taking care to move at incredibly slow speeds (for her) so that she doesn’t accidently rip up the area with the resulting force.  In particular, the Museum of General Studies has managed to not only capture her attention but to keep it, gathering various exhibits from around the world as often as possible to remain relevant.  While they’re collection is already vast, the main purpose of continuing to expand with such fervor is to keep the appeal of also being the place of residence for a Kaiju, something very few places can do.


Her desire to know everything leaves her somewhat fickle, her attention span short and her behavior unintentionally volatile.  She tends to shift her attention from one subject to another in a matter of moments, becoming easily distracted by other things she may consider appealing.  Because of this, she is hard to keep around for long (though her current residence has somehow managed it quite nicely) and is easily turned away from situations others may consider of greater importance.


She greatly respects anyone she thinks can teach her something, even if it’s only for a moment.  Those that offer her knowledge stand a greater chance of earning her favor, even after she moves on to other things.


Despite her quest for knowledge, she believes very much in determining things for yourself, and while she’ll listen to people and consider things she’s read, she often feels the need to see something for herself before she adds it to her ever growing list of facts.  Her idea of learning something is not simply being told that it is so, but being able to consider something as a possibility and proving it.


In general, Wren is both very excitable and logical.  She becomes passionate about things she finds interesting very easily, but also understands the need to think delicate or unfamiliar situations through, though often with a skewed sense of priorities.  Despite being excited to test out a new piece of information, for example, she will think through everything that needs to be set up so that nothing causes grievous errors in her experiment.  She often does this, however, while forgetting that whatever she’s attempting to prove might upset or even prove harmful to those around her.


Wren believes, despite her tendency to ignore other’s plights, that sticking to one’s word is of the utmost importance.  She doesn’t particularly care what someone may want her to do or how moral it is, as long as she likes what she gets out of her end and it doesn’t endanger any favorable situations she currently has or is likely to be offered in the future.  Because of this, she doesn’t make promises (or more likely deals) very often, but when she does, she makes sure she follows through.  Due to the weight she places on the importance of words, she has a particular distaste towards those that are blatant liars.  She hates it when people say they will do something and then go back on their words.  She doesn’t, however, have an issue with half-truths, withheld information, or deceitful actions that others may consider to be dishonest because the perpetrator didn’t outright lie about their actions, and thus it is the fault of the one tricked for not being able to pick out the deciever’s true meaning.   


Powers/Abilities:


The feathers covering her body are deceptively strong, harder than any material known and able to block almost any physical attack.  Her talons and beaked helmet are deadly weapons that can slice through most things, but she prefers ranged attacks, should she need to fight at all, able to molt and regrow feathers almost instantly.  The molted feathers, though small, can be fired at high velocity, making them deadly should any of them hit their mark.  She can fire many at once, increasing the range of the attack and making them harder to dodge.


Because of her bird like nature, she can fly with ease and reach speeds faster than anything short of true teleportation.  She has strong control over any substance that exist in a gaseous state, able to control them as she wills with ease, though should a substance change state, she would lose any control over it.  That particular ability doesn’t work on Daemons, despite what their non-solid forms may appear as.

Powers/Skills:


Fighting Instincts –


While not particularly good at fighting with weapons or even his fists, Leon makes up for it by being incredibly difficult to hit.  He has an almost uncanny ability to predict the next move or two of his opponents, giving him time to dodge any attack as long as the opponent doesn’t completely outstrip him in speed.  It’s effectiveness is lost the more efficient an opponent’s fighting style is, and is lost entirely if the opponent is too fast or strong to counter with his own physical attributes.  In general, this ability is almost perfect against C-class Daemons, allowing him to predict most if not all attacks.  Against A-class Daemons, the effect is lost somewhat, giving him a bit of an edge but becoming more or less useless in the face of much faster and stronger opponents.  When faced with an S-Class opponent, the ability is useless, for the Daemons on that level move far too quickly with too much efficiency to have time for attacks to register before they happen.  The ability works better the more time Leon has to observe his opponent, so the longer a battle is drawn out, the more of an advantage he has.


Light Manipulation –


Osclinile can change the wavelength of photons, essentially creating illusions.  It requires great amounts of concentration and works better the closer to his form he works.  Against lower ranked C-Class Daemons, he can completely and easily alter visual perception, using it to hide from sight, set false targets, and even lure opponents into attacks.  Mid to high ranked C-Class Daemons require more concentration to fool, making his illusions seem blurry, possibly even catching glimpses of the true scene from time to time.  A-Class Daemons can only be fooled for short periods of time, up to ten seconds every now and then should the opponent be unaware of the ability, only instances occasionally if the opponent knows that what they’re looking at may be false.  Against S-Class Daemons, a glimpse once in a while may work, but for the most part, this ability is useless.


Intimidation –


Osclinile’s terrifying appearance causes C-Class Daemons to become clumsy and irrational, making them easy to fight and fool.  A and S-Class Daemons are totally unaffected.


Claw Swipe –


Osclinile’s claws, while sharp, only cause shallow scratches.  Against C-Class Daemons one swipe is enough to cause the wounded area to be painful to use. While it wouldn’t make the affected area too damaged to use at all, prolonged use thereafter could further damage the area and bleeding.  Prolonged use of an affected limb will eventually make it unusable.  A-Class Daemons may find that the scratches sting, but are minor inconveniences over all, though multiple swipes to the same area compounds damage and chance for dangerous bleeding.  A single scratch is unlikely to do anything to an S-Class Daemon, but many compounded attacks to the same area may be somewhat painful.


Weapons:


Leon does have one standard issue I.D.C.C. approved combat knife, however it is unmodified and he hardly knows how to use it.  To be perfectly honest Leon doesn’t know much about fighting in general, even hand to hand, though he realizes he needs to learn.


Personality:


Leon –


He’s pragmatic and doesn’t typically prefer one type of thing over another, as long as it works well or does what he needs it to.  That said, he’ll do just about anything he has to as long as the payout is worth it, even more so considering his current situation.  Throughout his life he’s had to learn that he doesn’t get to be picky, so he’s generally fine with anything, regardless of what its purpose is, whether it be his job, meals, or most other things.


Despite that, he has a surprisingly strong moral code (though what exactly is on that moral code is questionable), and while his own necessities always come first, there are some things that, should he be capable helping, he won’t let alone.  People he cares about fall into the sphere of things he feels he needs in his life, and he’ll do whatever he needs to in order to make sure they’re all healthy and relatively comfortable.  It’s only decisions that negatively impact his comfort he tends not to feel much for, his happiness is his important people, and beyond preserving his own life there’s not much he wouldn’t sacrifice for them.


Growing up in the slums, he’s seen the worst sides of humanity and has become rather apathetic and unaffected by most things others would find appalling.  While he does find most of it unappealing, it’s something he’s grown up around, and despite his distaste for unsavory acts, he isn’t above acting outside the law if it’s beneficial.


Osclinile –


He’s rather young for a Daemon, and while his actual age was never a point of interest to him, his relative youth is apparent in the wide eyed curiosity and faith he has in most things.  Due to his young age, he’s very weak for a Daemon, though a fast learner with quite a bit of growth to his name since arriving on Earth.  He tends to expect the best out of everyone, unwilling to think badly of anyone unless they prove themselves again and again to have zero redeeming qualities.  Because of this, before meeting Leon he gets taken advantage of embarrassingly often, getting roped into things that place him in unsavory, and at time even dangerous, positions.  Somehow, he’s managed to avoid getting in trouble with the I.D.C.C., but he doesn’t know how close it was on several occasions.


Despite his preferred form being a cat, Osclinile is completely and devoutly loyal to Leon, feeling that he owes him immensely for taking him under his care.  He’d do anything Leon asked of him, and the idea of betraying or leaving Leon for any reason would seem blasphemous should it ever cross his mind.


History:


Leon lives with his slickly mother in a small apartment in the slums.  Somehow, he’s been lucky enough with his odd jobs to keep the place for themselves despite his mother’s inability to work.  He goes to an overcrowded high school not far from his residence and maintains above average grades, though his lack of real ambition has kept him from becoming an exemplary student or even deciding what exactly he wants to do with his grades after he graduates.  The idea of going to any kind of college is inconceivable, given his financial position, and he thinks he’s doing well enough on his own anyway.


During sophomore year, however, he came into possession of a considerable asset.  One day on his way home from school, he was witness to an angry slum dweller beating on a small black cat, and while he figured the man had his reasons for taking his anger out on the cat, he decided he may as well patch the thing up if it survived.  So after the man left the cat struggling weakly to its feet, Leon made it his responsibility to patch it up with some things he made sure he was never going to again anyway.


The plan after that was to just leave the cat to its own devices, but soon after he found the thing following him to and from school every day, mewing at him to try and get his attention.  Eventually the cat seemed to get fed up with waiting for him to take interest in it and followed him all the way to his door one day after school.


Now, obviously, there was no way Leon was going to keep it.  He couldn’t feed it and the added responsibility of taking care of a pet would steal time away that he could be using to make more money.  The exact specifics of how Leon came to learn the cat was a Daemon and why he decided to keep it around are unimportant.  It’s not like anyone would care about anything beyond that it was, anyway. 


So, Leon decided to keep Osclinile around, and despite the Daemon’s initial skepticism about his abilities in a fight, Leon and Osclinile eventually came to add the occasional illegal Daemon fight to the list of ways Leon earned money.  They were small and infrequent enough that the possibility of either getting caught was close to none, and the experience allowed Osclinile to grow stronger until he eventually became strong enough to be considered a low ranked C-Class Daemon not long before Leon was due to graduate.


Their story approaches the present at that point.  Leon is 18 now, officially registered for I.D.C.C. sanctioned fights, and ready to upgrade from small time fights with little payout to slightly less small time fights with a little bit better pay out.  Now is the time he searches for a what he considers a “real” job, hoping to be hired for something fairly well paying full time in order to improve the condition of living for his mother, and now for Osclinile as well.


Unfortunately, their current residence in the slums requires Osclinile to pass for human as convincingly as possible, for allowing rather unsavory people to know a Daemon as weak as him is among them could be the start of all sorts of dangerous situations.  For the time being, Osclinile is simply Oscar, an orphaned friend of the Fisk’s that Leon is sharing an apartment with.

Place of Residence: Starfall Arena, though she has the tendency to wander around the city in her free time.

Appearance: Her body takes on a humanoid appearance not so dissimilar to that of black armour. She is a few heads above human height, and her metallic body has a rather androgynous, albeit slightly curvy physique. It is made up of rather elaborate line designs carved into it, and the metal on her shoulders spire off into blade-like spikes. Gold designs also decorate the edges, and she wears a dark cloth draped from her shoulder unto her back. Her voice is extremely androgynous, and from it alone, it is highly difficult to tell her gender. 



Threat Rating: Kaiju 


Weapons: Has a large saber-like weapon made of a part of her own metallic body that can pierce anything; however, she is also proficient in bare handed combat as well, though not as much as she is with a sword. She is also able to wield a spear, though it does not have the same capabilities as her saber. 



Power/skills: Is able to manipulate the makeup of her own body in almost any way she likes. This makes her a versatile fighter, as she can switch from making her body physically extremely strong to the point a single strike of hers to the ground can create a large earthquake, to making her extremely fast and agile enough to be barely seen. However, this makes her lose capability in areas other than the ones she is enhancing at the moment. (I.e, if she makes herself stronger, she will not be as fast or defensive, etc.) She is able to switch what aspect she is using this power on very quickly however, after a supposedly insurmountable number of years training it.

Power/skills:


Combat Expertise: :Years of combat practice, both on the field and off, have given Claire expertise in combat, seeing things from multiple angles and fighting accordingly. She has heightened reflex and is deadly with her weaponry, making sharp attacks and dancing in combat like a graceful flame. S Ranked Enemies are affected normal and can keep pace with Claire. A ranked enemies take  brutally injuring wounds against her and have a harder time hitting her, and C ranked enemies stand little chance of touching Claire, or surviving a prolonged combat.


Territory of The Champion:  During combat, Clauder effects the air around Claire enchanting it to sap kinetic force from enemies , transferring it to either himself or Claire. The result is a reduction of the enemies's attack power while increasing Claire's by the same amount, and effects thing's that require kinetic force to function such as sword swings, gunshots, movement and the like. Due to the nature of Kinetic force, this allows Claire to continue to build up momentum.   S-Ranked Demon's attacking Claire have their damage done reduced while the attack power transfers to Clair or Clauder. A-ranked demons have significantly reduced damage against Claire, and C ranked demon's have the full brunt of their power turned against them, all scaling the longer Claire is in combat. The air seems to sparkle like gold flame to indicate the area effected


Kinetic Burst: Clauder takes some of the stored Kinetic Energy through running, attack, or from his territory and fires  blasts of Kinetic force, taking form of beas that change in size depending on the amount of force consumed. Damage to dealt to all foes depends on the force used, but typically,  S ranked foes take  medium amounts of damage per blast, A ranked Demons take a high amount of damage, and C ranks are in danger of facing burning upon impact


Personality:


Claire: Claire is a talented individual with a unique way of seeing the world.  She has led herself to believe that, regardless of the difficulty Claire can achieve what she desires and declares herself to be the one that all will come to know. It is not cockiness that leads her to say this, she respects all opponents equally, but so sure of her ability to overcome any difficulties despite their challenges that she can move forward with boldness. Her respect and love of life, the arts, and the thrill of combat give her a unique charisma that draws fans of the I.D.C.C to her. She declares herself to be one who will eventually reach the realm where the gods lie, and with her hard work, respect, and love for what she does, she might actually realize her aspirations.


Claire hates stealth based tactics, calling them cowardly and prefers to face her Foe's in open combat and deal with her problems head on. She  does not care if one is good or evil, so long as they are pursuing their life goals and living without restraint.  She loves the arts, music, stories, and enjoys attending to them, in addition to her own rigours training to remain and fight in the I.D.C.C


Clauder: If Claire is artist, the one fighting for her aspirations, Clauder is the patron that enjoys the determination of oe to reach the heaven's. Clauder is more even minded thn Claire but nonetheless roots for her, and the development of human and demon kind relationships. He has no known age, and simply moves through life, enjoying all that comes to him, especially now th the world has accepted it's kind. Naturally, he is the enemy of all seek to overthrow this delicate peace. An advocate and example of how human's and demons can work together, he has been with Claire since she was at a young age, his services bought and paid for by Claire's relatively rich family. They have grown and foguht together and will not betray her.


Clauder enjoys talking with his fellow demons ad can often bes een trying to engage  others in bnter even mid combat. His extent of joy in seeing how human's react is a hght point in his life

Age: Ancient.


Species: Daemon.


Occupation: Recluse.


Place of Residence: It tends to favor the snowy forests and remote landscapes of north-western Greenland, possibly seeking to elude the attentions of Humanity and/or other Daemons. In more recent times, however, Qliphoth has been sighted making its way south, closer to Human settlements.

Qliphoth's typical form is that of a tall, vaguely humanoid entity standing at some thirty feet in height, exhibiting sickly grayish-white skin and grotesquely elongated limbs. A pair of backswept, ear-like structures protrude from the upper regions of its hairless cranium. Its eyes are circular and eerily luminscent; two glowing holes embedded in an otherwise featureless "face." A thin seam across the lower third of its head conceals a gaping, too-wide maw filled with numerous razor-sharp teeth. Each of Qliphoth's limbs ends in a set of clawed, finger-like appendages capable of tearing through conventional materials with utter ease. Strange white symbols adorn much of its body, their meaning as yet undeciphered by Human scholars.


Its arrival in an area is usually accompanied by freak snowstorms and inexplicable fogbanks.


Threat Rating: Kaiju.


Weapons: None.


Power/skills:


Entropy manipulation: Qliphoth is often misattributed with the ability to manipulate ice and snow, owing to its tendency to freeze everything around it when threatened. In reality, its power allows it to deteriorate both living and nonliving entities and forces in its surroundings.

  • By diminishing an object's thermal or kinetic energy, the Kaiju can effect an exponential decrease in the target's velocity, causing it to decelerate to the point of immobility. Applied on a larger scale, this ability is capable of reducing or halting the movement of particles in an entire area, essentially "freezing" everything in the affected space. 
  • By decaying the physical form of matter, Qliphoth can cause the world around it to simply disintegrate. As though thousands of years had passed, buildings and roads crumble, rivers and lakes dry up, fields and forests wither away, living beings collapse into dust, and entire civilizations cease to exist. Fortunately for Humanity, it has yet to utilize this ability near anything resembling a populated settlement.
  • By decomposing another Daemon's material form, Qliphoth can forcibly disperse the target's physical incarnation, thereby returning it to the Void. This aspect of Qliphoth's power does not appear to affect the other Kaiju, possibly due to their existence on a similar plane. Some Daemons, particularly S-Rated ones, may exhibit similar resistance.
  • By infusing the property of entropy into the perpetual fog surrounding its body, the Kaiju can generate an extremely corrosive mist capable of annihilating Humans and Daemons alike.
  • By amplifying entropy to the utmost degree, Qliphoth can force matter to decay into its constituent subatomic particles. This process, formally known as nuclear fission, releases vast amounts of high-frequency electromagnetic radiation as it liberates the energy formerly stored in chemical bonds between particles. The Kaiju seems to be able to direct the resultant radiation to a certain extent, allowing it to unleash devastating beams of "poisonous light" powerful enough to melt through terrain and cause severe radiation poisoning in mortals. It can also use this ability to initiate a chain nuclear fission reaction, producing a cataclysmic explosion capable of leveling cities outright and irradiating entire countrysides. The latter usage is a necessarily self-destructive attack, as Qliphoth itself will be caught in the epicenter of the blast.



Psychometry: Seemingly linked to its control over entropy, Qliphoth possesses the ability to discern the past. Little is known of this power, as the entity has never communicated its specifics to anyone else. However, it is known to be capable of sensing the presence of other Daemons and Kaiju.


Eldritch physiology: In addition to its other abilities, Qliphoth displays incredible regenerative powers. Its innate physical parameters (speed, strength, etc.), though still far beyond the realm of S-Rated Daemons, are merely average for one of the Kaiju. Nonetheless, Qliphoth's ability to rapidly regrow lost limbs and flesh allows it to hold its own in battles against its kin. The Kaiju's wounds emit a sort of pale mist in place of blood, and it repairs itself using the endless fogbanks that permeate its surroundings. 

  • Unbeknownst to many, the aforementioned "fog" comprises the Kaiju's true form, whereas its humanoid figure is merely an avatar of sorts coalesced from said essence. It can freely disperse and reshape this incarnation at will, enabling it to assume myriad forms and appearances to suit its purposes. In the event that Qliphoth's fleshly body suffers irreparable damage, the entity will simply dissolve into mist and reform elsewhere, rendering it impossible to "kill" in the conventional sense. 



Miscellaneous: For some reason, all of its incarnations manifest glowing eyes and odd quasi-runic markings. The latter are known to induce bizarre visions and hallucinations in mortals who gaze upon them for too long.


Its natural method of communication involves conjuring fractal patterns, tesselations, and logarithmic vortices in the mist around it. It may also utilize a form of telepathy to directly project its thoughts; however, the sheer weight of its mind is apt to render anything below an S-Rated Daemon unconscious.


It hates running water, and will typically use its power to freeze rivers before crossing.

Threat Rating: Kaiju 


Weapons: His swords he uses while in his armor form have no actual blade, but instead are swords in the form of fire. The only "physical" part of the blades are the hilts.



Power/skills: 


Control of Fire/Heat: Vulcan has innate control over fire and heat in general. While in his armor form, the flames that appear around him are for visual impact, but when in danger, Vulcan can increase the heat displaced around him at will. This means most items will melt getting too close to him, including people. Also, Vulcan can send forth vortex's of flame from his swords as well as create intense fires around him.


Flight/Speed: With the ability to expel fire behind himself, Vulcan is able to fly or move quickly. (Think like the human torch ((insert copyright sign here)).


Personality: Vulcan values honesty and the truth above all else, and will not relent until discovering the truth of a situation. He sees himself as a subject matter expert in the area of truth, and values his opinion higher than anyone else's. Despite this, he listens to anyone who comes to him for help. Generally he does most of his contracts for free, but if he knows the client can pay, he will bleed them dry. Not that he exactly has a use for human currency, but he knows its value in this world, and expects you to show him that you really need him. He likes to joke around and make light of every situation he comes across, irreverent or not. Most would expect him to be a hot-head, seeing as he in the living embodiment of flame, but contrary to popular belief, Vulcan remains patient and calm. 


History: Prior to Daemons coming to this world, Vulcan was the embodiment of justice in his realm. He would settle disputes between weaker and stronger Daemons, often working on the behalf of the weaker party. When Daemons began to cross into the Human world, Vulcan realized the strained relationship Humans and Daemons would have, especially if strong Daemons rampaged through the Human world unchecked. He crossed over as soon as he could, and became an early peacekeeper, hunting down Daemons who aimed to abuse weaker humans or Daemons. After ending the reign of a few "dangerous" daemons, Vulcan decided to set up shop in Arnvista. Noting that more than a few different entities were keeping tabs on Vulcan due to his power, he decided to make it blatantly obvious to them he meant no harm, and set up his personal business, "Dowey, Burnem, and Howe." It is here that all manners of individuals come seeking Vulcan's assistance. Most common cases include a Human or weaker Daemon requesting Vulcan bring justice upon a stronger Daemon for them. If Vulcan hears the facts of the case and agrees that the weaker party was in fact injured in some way, Vulcan will issue an ultimatum to the suspected party. They either face the punishment for their actions, or face Vulcan on the field of battle.

Melting in chairs or couches. Though as more look closer, his hair is puzzling; straight yet curly, smooth yet rough; it wakes around him as hypernovas in a crowded galaxy. He is very clean, no piercings or tattoos (Not allowed to have them for his occupation). He has a silky, metallic scarf he wears around him for Ace to take refuge, it is soft and runs as a coursing gulf stream in New England. Height: 5'8" Weight: 134.56 pounds.

"Where could I start on Ryder? Ever since my form came into existence, I've known him. Supposedly we were born at the same time, and from day one, I knew one thing. He was an angelic sly of a guy. Leading you all over the place just to "bond" with you. Doing things as sweet as an angel under the methods of the Devil himself. I don't know how he does it, but he's cool. Though he seems light-hearted, he remembers everything and forgives little with every ounce of his heart being the apex of vindictive and self-righteous in a vigilante's regard. And he has unusual paradigms, he believes I can be alive... He knows I'm a daemon and that I can't feel, but he still tries anyway. God is he persistent, always trying, always there... Conjoined History of Ace and Ryder:

Nothing Ryder has done as Ace not been there. Becoming an addiction for Ryder, he wants the presence of Ace almost all the time.


When they were seven, Ryder ran into a fight with multiple older teenagers. They had backed him against the wall, pinning him. Ryder started to cry profusely, trying to break free as each punch broke a bit of his soul. Pain, pain, pain... he suffered until his lips bled. The rest was history with them all being hospitalized, a couple dying, others paralyzed in a matter of seconds by a wave of lightning, bones, and cards. Ryder only grew more attached to Ace, helping him to control his wild power that only gets stronger... 


 


Most of the events prior to their fourteenth birthday is typical and uninspiring. On their fourteenth birthday, Ryder's grandfather handed down his scythe, Kijn. A green energy based scythe full stretching out just enough for Ryder to wield it. A titanium based alloy supposedly bonded with a daemon's energies. It is made of dark metals and supposedly a Daemon's bane, but no one is for sure. No one ever told Hyo Sieçer about Ace, the Daemon living with his grandson and almost sliced Ace, but as Ryder's protective nature took the hit instead. His body glowed slightly, his eyes thrashed violently, and when he settled, he held an aura around him. Leading to one of the most puzzling and frightening characteristics of Ryder, a passive resistance to Daemon powers. This leads Ryder to be decently strong, and with some training and practice could be a serious threat to high tier fighters around the world.

 Ace is a controller who specializes trickery and capitalizing mistakes while innately pumping out damage. His mazes are made of cards(Mostly Ace's of Heart). He'll never be much of a tank(Ryder's whole purpose in battle LOL).

General Powers:


(Ace) Honor of the Loved: For every hit Ryder takes, Ace's powers grow more unpredictable; increasing movement speed and lowering cooldowns. Depending on the class of enemy, the damage will also increase. S level will have slight yet noticeable increase, A - very noticeable, and C - Incapacitation assured after a couple hits. A 2.5% increase for a quantitative standpoint for both parties. Ace Loses Mobility, and Ryder tends to have hallucinations which grow stronger each hit that miss lead him. 


(Ace) Maze Field: Ace conjoins his powers to make a maze for the enemy to navigate. Depending on the strength of the enemy there will be various effects: C - Abilities such as auras are corralled inside the maze walls, powers are weakened, and the enemy is slowly siphoned health which moves back to Ryder, 45%, A- Reduced effects, 25%, S- Slight effects, 15%. Subject to Honor of the Loved. Percentages at Ace's C control level. Add 15% for S level and add 7.5% for A. The Walls are made of Cards, bones jump out from all three faces(the two walls and the ground), and a lightning field covers the ceiling of the maze.

(Ace)(Ryder) Go Wild: As the fight progresses, Ace and Ryder lose all rhythm (not in a bad sense) and become more unpredictable.


Bone Picker: One bone is latched onto the target where it spews out mini barriers in around them, impeding movement.

(Ace) Card Siphon: Ace swipes his cards at the target, siphoning health and energy thus returning to Ryder or himself. Siphons 25% of damage


(Ace) Bones: Like Sans' Bones except much more kinetic and interacts with the environment such as shaking and destroying objects. Some bones are not existent yet look there. High detective Daemons can see this easily.


(Ace) Fate (Ultimate Like): If any Daemon powers are being used, their power is consumed and converted into a shield for Ryder to use. Otherwise, a dome of cards, bones, and lightning bolts are made around the target which are then slung at them. The projectiles follow them. At cost, Ace is immobilized for twenty seconds leaving Ryder to protect him.  C- 25% Efficiency, A- 45%, S- 75%


Lightning Spray: A barrage of lightning arcs castes out of Ace in a small yet enlarging cone in front of him. Normal damage applies.


Spells/Tricks


(Ace)Edict of Fortune: Ace reveals his deck of cards, throwing three which spread out and cover Ryder and Ace behind one. Choosing correctly will yield no effects, incorrectly however will cause a mini fate to spawn and all other cards to disappear. Ace is not immobilized yet less projectiles and less damage as a result. No shield. Also no attacking since it would give them away. Ace can see through cards. Small Casting time.


"Follow Me" Cards: Cards that pull of projectiles and away from Ace and Ryder. Loses effect in rapid succession. Small Casting time.

(Ace) Falsify the Prophet: Ace approached the insecurity of his emotions, casting them aside while shuffling his deck of cards. He selects a card which scrambles enemy senors and scrambles his outward appearance as a hologram. Small Casting time.


 


Nah Mate: Ace throws a glaive shaped lightning configuration which cancels a effect or process for times equal to normal damage outputs at A and S levels. Can miss. Moderate Casting Time. Cool-down: Roughly ten seconds


 


Unorthodox bond: Ace expends some of his energy to give strength back to Ryder. Requires noticeable casting time. Passive: Ryder is not affected by Ace's abilities unlike at C level.


 


Night of Fate: Ace focuses himself, producing a "shelter" of cards that modulate light to misguide and shroud Ryder and himself. Sounds are produced all around in confusing patterns. Small minimal damage tiny cards rain down on enemies underneath causing misinterpretation of the surroundings by touch. Heavy Casting Time Effectiveness is subject to damage table.

Annabel grew up in a moderately wealthy family. Her mother being a photographer and her grandfather being a famous artist. She was always by her grandfathers side doddling with crayons while he painted or drew. She always wanted to be like him wen it came to his art. There was always something about the way he painted that was calming and Serine. So serine in fact that a few of his art works are already being displayed in some of the best art museums in the world. Coming to the city when she turned 18 to attend an art college she has been honing her skills and talents ever since. Painting and drawing constantly for a living and selling them to whoever was willing to buy. Specifying in the drawing of Daemons. With a lithe frame, well-accentuated muscles, mysterious gaze and calm demeanour, Agaso gives off an air of confidence and charm. His small pointy nose splits a mostly symmetrical face, and leads down to the straight line that makes up his lips - unless it's slightly ajar, like it always is when he's particularly confused or curious about something. Unfortunately he lacks any manly facial hair, but makes up for it with a jawline sharp enough to cut lemons with.


 


There's no doubt to any on-looker that he's very athletically ambitious, not to mention talented, what with the grace that he's spent time honing in his every movement and every stature. His sharp features also betray his strict diets and well-planned practices. As is custom for someone working security alongside a daemon, of course, but his almost fanatical dedication to the cause is both appreciated and frowned upon.


 


His hair matches his gray clothing, as it lost it's original brown pigmentation when he was around 23. Almost always he wears the same gray coat, black t-shirt and dark jeans. Perhaps though, his style of clothing is specifically picked out to reflect his emotional range. He averages a total of two emotions daily, generally curiosty/mild surprise or quiet acceptance. That being said, he can light up his fuse every now and then, but he seldom lets it affect his judgment.


 


When he's on his private sleuthy prowl however, he dons his partner's true form and merges with him. Shy's powers completely obscure his features inside the hood and leaves him nigh-impossible to recognize, even by another daemon.

Shy's name very much reflects his personality. How old he is, or what he prefers to call himself, or what he wants or anything is completely wrapped in mystery. The only person who has ever been reported to communicate with him is Agaso, and he doesn't even partake in conversation with other daemons, but will let Agaso speak in his place to Daemons he deem either necessary enough to talk to, or alternatively stupid enough to realize they're not communicating with a human if they're conducting anything secretive. Him ever passing a message to any non-daemonic entity is completely unheard of however. Still, he doesn't seem to mind the nickname Shy, nor the general norm of referring to him as a male.


 


The shape of Shy that all Agaso's co-workers recognize is the creepy little doll that always sits still and silently in Agaso's breast pocket along with his cigarettes. It has been observed to be able to move by itself, usually to get back to Agaso in case they get separated, but very very rarely does so.


 


However, should close, clandestine exploration be necessary, Shy takes to his base and most natural form. A barely corporeal, ragged, hooded coat that seem to reflect little next to darkness. Black fog resides within the strange textiles, and sometimes seeps out in the form of claws or similar.

Refusing the popularity of melee weapons, Agaso relies solely on these ballistic weapons during his daytime job. The smaller pistol is high capacity and loaded with overpressured high velocity bullets, and is most often enough to deal with whatever when aided by Shy's powers. Should push come to shove though, Agaso carries a back-up large caliber pistol that so far hasn't failed him if the smaller gun does not play the part.

To keep from exposing his identity during his secret operations, Agaso switches to a vastly different fighting style. One that, over time, he's become far more proficient with. A two-foot long, strong tactical blade he managed to sneak away from a guard on duty is his weapon of choice, and it's mixture of heavy enough to deal damage yet small enough to be swiftly handled has really grown on him.

Ghastly Terror - Not only does the little daemonic doll look creepy, it's rage manifests in an aura that strikes the primal fight or flight instinct. Usually this does nothing but strike dread into lesser enemies who will run away, but Shy can momentarily force this power upon opponents. C-rank daemons will feel complete dread, stunning them for up to 10 seconds. A-rank daemons will waver, stunning them up to 4 seconds. S-rank daemons will probably be surprised, but have no real reaction.


 


Powerful Amplification - Not only does Shy amplify Agaso's guns, but he's very good at it. So much so that he can multitask and amplify Agaso's physical attributes should it be necessary, even when keeping his powers low on purpose. C-Rank Daemons might have difficulty catching up with him, but sure as hell don't like being shot by Agaso in the slightest. A-Ranks are unlikely to have difficulties keeping the same physical pace, but bullets hurt. S-Ranks will have a definite edge in physical capabilites, but would rather not be shot. Still, unless it's a well-placed shot from the larger caliber it probably won't be super threatening.


 


Stealth - Both Shy and Agaso are very stealthily inclined. C-Rank Daemons are very unlikely to spot them, unless in very good conditions. Hasn't happened yet though. A-Rank Daemons without abilities relating to detection are pretty much as lost C-Rank Daemons. S-Ranks have far better chances of noticing them, and if their abilities pertain to detection then they're on even ground.


 


Secret


Incorporeal - Shy has rather unique abilities, in that even his corporeal form is... not quite there. This has both pros and cons. Pros: Avoiding damage by accurate and partial phasing out of existence, high regeneration due to simplistic biology, extreme mobility and easy merging with other creatures. Cons: Fragile, though a strong gust won't blow him asunder, a solid item swept through him with power will still separate his smoke-like form. He also is very poor at actually interacting with the world if he doesn't concentrate himself down to the size of a doll, which is why he is very much dependent on a human partner. All of these attributes are transmitted to his host, though how extremely they are changed at the moment very much depends on his own decision. C-Rank Daemons, assuming they somehow land a hit despite all else, will probably pass right through and cause nothing. A-Rank Daemons have managed to give him a good dinge once or twice, but after besting his speed the chances of also passing the phasing defence requires volleys of attacks. S-Rank Daemons that match his speed can definitely cause some damage if they get in close.


 


Physical Boost - Just as his more limited, more legal self, Shy is very good at amplification. He can give his host both great strength and great agility, this however at the cost of fortitude. C-Ranks without speed abilities have small hopes to ever touch him. A-Ranks will be outmatched in speed, but should they have massive strength then they may come out even on that point. S-Ranks are likely to match his strength, but his speed is still impressive.


 


Teleportation - Short powerful bursts of speed may look like teleportation, but besides this Shy can actually teleport short distances. By forcing his entire form to shallowly escape the clutches of this realm, he can move very quickly and untroubled by physical obstacles for a brief moment. This, on the other hand, is incredibly taxing for hosts. Difficult to rank against opponents, since it's not offensive.


 


Fog - Black fog consistently eminates from Shy's body, wrapping itself around all of his abilities and obscuring vision- for everyone but himself and his host. He can control the flow of this fog with ease, although sustaining an entire smokescreen is taxing. C-Rank daemons would do best to avoid the cloud of completely impenetrable darkness or get fuckedTM. A-Rank Daemons could sense things from out of the smoke, but most of the time too late. S-Rank daemons are seldom handicapped from being within clouds like these, but it's still a good method of escape.


 


Crystallization Strike - Shy is capable of momentarily making his form solid, this usually in the form of a large clawed hand that swipes at his opponents at a range. C-Ranks will recieve heavy damage and bleeding, A-Ranks moderate damage and bleeding, and against S-Ranks it's a necessary tool to be used in dangerous cases of one on one combat.


 


Stabilization and Synchronization - A very unique power, Shy has the adaptability to deeply bond with a host over time. The more time they've spent merged, the more in-tune they are, and the less taxing the power become on the host, until after long practice it only experiences the same fatigue that Shy himself does.

Utterly terrifying upon sight, typically standing over 8 ft tall, this living, breathing shell of skeletal armor is what has come to be associated with the name God's Hand. Flaming red eyes, tattered black cape following his every move, the Daemon's appearance is closely related to that of the fabled Rider of the Apocalypse, Death. In fact, vague accounts throughout history, especially during the war-torn, plague-torn, days of Medieval Europe, have cited a similar skeletal being, charging upon a skeletal horse, terrorizing the battlefield and citing fear within the populace. Such records, both written and oral, have sparked many theories on the concept of Death as a tangible figure. However, one can only speculate what these accounts mean or if they even point at all to the deathly Daemon. One thing is for certain though - in recent years he certainly hasn't been seen with any horse.

In modern society it would appear God's Hand has attempted to adapt to the fashion of the times, though still sacrificing very little in terms of a disturbing appearance. His sleek, formal attire simply grants an aura of sophistication, and further intimidation, to his skeletal image. A one-handed long sword, coated in some perpetual chemical substance similar to oil, allowing the blade to be ignited in flames whenever the wielder chooses.

A shape-shifting shield coated with many eyes. Depending on God's Hand's preferences, it may appear such as a kite shield, a smaller buckler, a full head-to-toe wall, or a tower shield (as pictured). The eyes on the shield, ever present, are said to be an extension of God's Hand's own two eyes, granting him additional field of view as well as multiple perspectives on an opponent when in battle. This increases the Daemon's dodging capabilities and interception of enemy attacks.

Known Skills:

Eschaton - The epitomy of fear, the darkest moving force in the world, chilling any enemy to the bone and paralyzing all nerves, senses, and abilities they have. This ability of God's Hand would probably count more as a trait, for it's perpetual as long as he chooses it to be. To repel it would require an extremely strong constitution. The more focus he pours into it, the more powerful the effect becomes, though its limit is unknown. At its base level of power, any S-Rank Daemon would be immediately paralyzed unless able to break free by some powerful constitution save, and any rank of Daemon lower than that could potentially fall into a deadly coma, be ripped of their sanity, their mind, or even killed on the spot. Naturally, there are exceptions, though the power has increasing potential the more "force" God's Hand applies. In regards to radius, the base area of effect is approximately 100 ft from God's Hand's relative location. 


Rift Teleportation/Interdimensional Travel - God's Hand can open rifts, or portals, within space and time, allowing his physical body to pass through multiple dimensions. This can be used to the effect of regular teleportation/blinking, but is all the more deadly in its versatility during combat. Typical teleportation would place its user in a different chosen location from its origin along the same dimensional plain (i.e. teleporting from one end of a football field to the other), but in God's Hand's case he could exist in multiple locations at once due to the nature of his ability (i.e. multiple rifts are opened through space and time, allowing afterimages, past or future versions of God's Hand to coexist on the same plain). Additionally, God's Hand could open a rift in front of his person to intercept an oncoming enemy attack, simultaneously opening another rift behind said enemy. The result would be the enemy's attack passing through the 1st rift and into his back via the 2nd rift. The limitation to this ability as a whole is that the more afterimages, past and future versions of God's Hand that are present in one dimensional plain of reality, the weaker the rifts opened by God's Hand become, resulting in a weaker power output from each additional afterimage, and a greater mental strain/toll on the present version of God's Hand within the dimensional plain. In short, too many rifts and versions of God's Hand's self, the weaker he becomes.


Wrath of Eden - The ability to not only ignite his sword on fire, but channel fire through it, either in the form of beams, projectiles, or waves of flames. The greater the concentration, or charge, that God's Hand places into his weapon, the more heated the ignition, resulting in multi-colors of flames based off of temperature and an overall more devastating effect. Though possible to counter by a Daemon, the potential destructive power of the Wrath of Eden could topple buildings, raise forests, and incinerate anyone at a touch. Its base power vs any S-Rank Daemon would leave them with severe burns, potentially incinerating them depending on the concentration of the flames spawned by an attack. A-Rank Daemons would fair worse, though plausibly they could survive, while any C-Rank Daemon would be annihilated for sure. Again, there is potential for the attack to be deflected or countered by another ability/power of equal, or at least of approaching, strength.

Secret but Speculated Skills: 

Umbrakinesis - God's Hand can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. He can channel it to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: he can also create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, etc. The extent of this ability is unknown, and depending on its usage it could likely deal up to as much damage as the Wrath of Eden against respective classes of Daemons - possibly more. 


Self-Imbued Hell - A fitting name for a power that renders God's Hand utterly berserk and uncontrollable, sans sanity and reason, until the effects wear off. However, the pro to the ability is the extreme rise in strength, agility, and immunity God's Hand physical being undergoes, amplifying his physical traits as well as his other abilities/powers he possesses. The boost in power also allows the Daemon to alter the confines and the scale of his physical form, plausibly granting him the stature of a titan. Overall the threshold of God's Hand's powers is dramatically increased at the expense of his sanity. The duration of the ability is unknown.

- Though not a lady of the night, Miho is a girl who seems to fit quite well into the shadows. She maintains a tall, toned, yet petite frame that is complimented in every way by the clothes she wears and her overall style. Her long, dark brown hair falls across her wide shoulders and hangs mid-chest, while her bangs lay choppily along either side of her symmetrical face, occasional strays falling in front of her vivid orange eyes. It possesses a subdued wildness to it that seemingly fits the young woman perfectly. The rest of her appearance contributes to this point of personality as well: tattoos, typically visible from the variety of sleeveless tops, biker vests, and tanks Miho wears, spiral up her left arm, through her collarbone and up to the highest point of her jaw, just below the ear. A couple of chains occasionally adorn her wrists and ankles (one in particular depicting a golden gear can always be seen upon her right wrist), and she often wears finger-less leather gloves. At the bar, she's usually seen with some form of nicotine between her lips, as it apparently keeps her chugging through the long shifts and bleak days.
 


A tomboy in her own right, but not as a fashion statement, rather as a true depiction of her rough 'n gruff demeanor. Her lower, alto-range voice also contributes to this image in addition to the aforementioned elements that make Miho who she is.

Khorne is a blood red horned Daemon with a vicious looking maw filled with razor sharp fangs. Despite the lack of eyes on his head he can see perfectly. He stands at just over 6 foot 11 inches tall and is not to be underestimated. His body is a mixture of blood red and onyx black skin and this makes him look like Hell incarnate to anyone who can see him. This form usually strikes fear into witnesses and he thoroughly enjoys it. Parts of his body look like they are made from rock and they give the image that Khorne is so old that he is actually turning to stone as time goes on.

Daniel looks like an average university student. He dresses with the latest styles and acts like most adults. His usual style is usually grey skinny jeans with a white shirt, a checkered shirt of varying colour underneath. He also wears a black jacket and a beanie most of the time and prefers to keep his headphones around his neck just in case he begins to feel a little overwhelmed and wants to listen to his music. He has a tattoo sleeve on his left arm which consists of olden Japanese folklore (Oni, dragons etc.) and despite the disbelief of many, his hair colour is natural as it is actually an off-colour shade of grey rather than actual blue.


Threat Rating:


When Daniel and Khorne are together they become an excellent team and usually strike one after the other to keep damage constant and to catch the enemy off guard. Khorne is an S-rated Daemon. Daniel is A-rated when he teams up with Khorne as he is able to borrow some of the Daemon's power.


Weapons:


Khorne's Weapons:


Sanguinus: Sanguinus is a blood red sword that Khorne wields in battle. He is known as the Blood God by many of his foes due to this sword and its abilities. If the sword so much as enters your personal space within a couple of inches, it draws blood to the surface and drains it. This in turn gives Khorne a temporary boost.


Chain of submission: This chain isn't so much as weapon as it is a means to an end. Khorne rarely uses this object as he sees it as an unfair way to win a battle but he will use it if he sees himself in danger. He will also use it to defend his partner Daniel. The chain glows blue and hums with a faint energy and anyone who is snared in it will find themselves unwilling to fight and will calm down slowly. Khorne uses this to his advantage and strikes quickly. Usually finishing the fight in one fell swoop.


Daniel's Weapons:


Thorn: Thorn is a human weapon that Daniel once bought and kept hidden from friends and family. It is nothing more than a crossbow pistol until Daniel uses his powers on it.



Power/skills:


Khorne has a few abilities.


Blood Magic: Khorne uses his powers to physically manipulate the blood within his enemy's body. He can do a variety of things such as control their body to act against their will or he can even draw the blood out of their veins and devour it himself. Being a blood daemon he craves blood and every time he gets a taste of it his powers grow in strength for a short time. When used on other Daemons this is super effective as their blood is a lot more powerful than human blood. This is an A-rank attack but it can quickly become S-rank if used for a long amount of time on the same person/daemon as he is not only gaining more power but they are also getting weaker.


Rend: Khorne's claws glow with a dark energy. If they hit a person then they are likely to fall into a deep coma. If it hits a Daemon it will just do a substantial amount of damage as the energy has insidious effects. First it inhibits the mind causing the victim to slowly become less aware of their surroundings. Then they begin to go blind and usually by this point Khorne has swept in and killed his opponent. This is an S-rank attack as even the most powerful daemons are susceptible to the effects of this attack.


Crimson Tendrils: Khorne doesn't have to keep all the blood he has taken from his victims in his body. He can also use it as a weapon to attack opponents. Crimson Tendrils is one such attack as he explodes with energy and sharp tendrils made of blood shoot out of his body in every direction. This is an attack best used when being surrounded as the tendrils explode outwards in every direction. If Khorne concentrates he can form one hunge tendril and send it in a specific direction but this requires a large amount of concentration. This is an S-rank attack and will leave even the most powerful Daemon retreating to avoid being impaled. S-rank attack.


Blood rage: Khorne uses up all the energy he has stored up by draining blood and he loses it. He gains extreme speed and durability while using this attack and it can be hard for most daemons to land a hit on him while he is like this. His attacks become more offensive and he rarely goes on the defensive while using this attack. Even S-rank daemons will have a hard time landing a hit on him and they'll definitely feel it if he manages to land one on them. S-rank ability


Daniel's Abilities:


Imbue: Alex borrows power from his partner and imbues the bolts in his crossbow pistol with a dark energy, these bolts probably wouldn't do much harm to an S-rank Daemon and A-rank Daemons might only feel a small pain but the bolts cause most daemons to recoil in pain as their dark energy pulse through their veins. A-rank ability


Regeneration: If Daniel takes a bad hit and becomes badly injured he can use blood that Khorne has stored to fix himself. The smaller the wound the faster the healing. So if Daniel loses an arm he'll be growing it back for a while. A-rank ability.


Demonic fist: Daniel can borrow power from Khorne to make his fists demonic for a short time. This means he strikes harder and faster and can cause even A-ranked Daemons a great deal of pain. He usually uses this ability when attacking in unison with Khorne. A-rank ability


Short range blink teleport: Daniel is able to blink teleport around and this makes him a hard target for enemies as he can teleport at the last second before their attacks even hit him. A-rank ability.

"Vow of Silence" - Due to the intimate relationship between him and his demonic companion, Alexander strangely bleeds black ink instead of normal blood while he is under semi-possession of the daemon. Though it functions largely the same, the ink blood leaves stains that are inexplicably difficult to remove. Having possesses the black ink stains that have been tattooed over his entire torso, arms, hands, and neck, the demon remains mostly silent, aside from sometimes shuddering and moving these black bodies around. It threatens no one and allows the man to freely borrow its supernatural powers if he wishes.

"Smudge" - Alexander is able to temporarily detach himself from reality for split seconds, slipping in a special limbo between realms, allowing him to phase through physical objects. He is only somewhat resistant to magic with this ability active. He is able to use this ability multiple times before tiring. He is also able to peer through nearby walls in this state, able to detect people and objects beyond.
