Ri is the diplomat of the group. She's able to put herself in other's shoes and see things through another person's point of view. She's the one that always want to make things right and have balance and harmony in life, her surroundings and the lives of the people close to her. She has captivating charm, elegant taste and is easy to like due to her eager-to-please, easygoing nature. In return for a Ri's amazing ability to be a good listener, sooth and calm people, she expects admiration. She will gather a group of people, everyone will become friends then Ivy will be in the center of the group. She likes the attention and the admiration for the people that She's brought together. Rianna is very intelligent, and often hides this inside her easygoing exterior. She expresses her intelligence through creativity, mostly involved in some sort of artistic or creative pursuit. Many people overlook just how intelligent Rianna actually is. When others see her wide range of interests and hobbies, her intelligence and creativity is more than obvious. History:

Ri was born and raised in Fullerton, California to a loving father and mother. She was raised with tea parties with mommy and game days with her father, her brother and her having a very sibling-bully-protective relationship. She maintained AB honor roll through high school into college, and was captain of her Key Club as well as a spelling bee finalist in Cali. She tan track competitively, as her involvement in academic and extracurriculars granted her a scholarship to USC in Los Angeles where she studies Biochemistry. On the outside she looks fierce, but her timid yet quietly wise aura does not match her looks. Her confidence lacks but one would never know because of her elusive an drew mysterious nature. It would take a real investment to find out what Rianna is truly all about. She fell in love with pop culture growing up playing games with her brother and father. She started to read comics and anime and get into the fictional movies and shows as well. In college, she met her current group of friends from their different walks of life and they all became a tight knit little group. They all met one way or another through Darril Norman, a grad student that also had amassed a certain amount of wealth from both his family and research studies. He was a part of the knit group of friends that Ri had come to know and grow close to. And then the day came, the infamous Norman stream. She still remembers laughing wondering if it was a hoax or not. It wasn't. The grim horror set in to her and the entire community. She told all her friends the news, some were shocked while others were a bit skeptical, but nonetheless, they were all ready for the adventure of a lifetime. Darril was missing, and if no one cared enough to find out what happened, they would. So they prepared for a dive into the mysterious circumstances of his as well as others' disappearances to find him. And what will be waiting for them will be something they had never expected.

Spoiler: Relationships

• Emilia ~ Both are open minded and positive, so they connected right away. They both see the best in others and are outcasts to a degree. Except where Emilia is rebellious, Ri is be the one to keep her anchored and tethered to the real world when she decides to get hot headed or confrontational. Plus their common interest of sports and athletics bonded them to work out together. Also, they push each other outside their bubbles. Em pushes to make Ri live a little and be more rebellious and Ri tries to make Em be a bit more tactful and precise in how she responds to life and operates. All in all, good friends.
• Reece ~ Ri cares about him, but from a distance. He's more pessimistic and Ri is a very open and positive person, so she tends not to have that aura around her. Also, the fact he openly flirts and usually gets into trouble would be opposite of the lifestyle Ri lives and strives to go for. So she doesn't dislike him really, but she just sees him as more an acquaintance than an actual close bud. Never judges him, but is a bit reluctant of his persona but what he releases externally.
• Alisha ~ Ri and Al met through Darril and at first hit it off nicely. They both enjoyed the more lavish of things. However there is a bit of disconnect in their friendship via Alisha's bratty attitude which misaligns with Rianna's generally humble nature and composed hubris. They often butt heads on small things or conflicting interests, but it's never enough to drive a serious wedge between the two. Ri would still call her a friend in any scenario regardless of the back and forth they go through.
• Vince ~ Ri and Vince would get along pretty well. They wouldn't really get into too many disagreements simply because they don't exactly have many opposing traits deep down in what they value. His theatric personaltiy ends up catching attention, and usually the peaceful and lowkey Ri isn't used to overt attention which makes her feel a bit whelmed at times, but still enjoys him being himself and loves the energy and she definitely checks him when he's being a bit too arrogant.
• Regan ~ Rianna met Darril's little cousin during Regan's freshman year, and ever since Ri has taken a quasi-sister like relationship with the girl. A more mature and oriented minded Rianna looks out for Regan when she gets a bit too naive and careless, but other than that the two are pretty close. Regan's selflessness and magnanimous nature is almost matched with Ri's, as the two connect on wanting to make sure everyone feels okay and nurtured. She's definitely the little sibling for the group, but more personally for Rianna serving as a little sister while Rianna is away from her real family. Regan is probably the one Ri is most protective of, especially since the disappearance of Darril.

Reece is the “flirt" of the group. He’ll flirt with anyone and this occasionally gets him into trouble. He doesn’t seem to mind though. He’s the type of person to leave a fist fight with a black eye and an inane grin on his lips.
On first glance it could be imagined that Reece was the kind of person to be quite isolative and quiet, and he could quite easily go overlooked; often blending into the background when he has no wish to be “present". His work isn’t that interesting to him, but he loves to meet new people and that’s mostly why he hasn’t quit already. That and the great tips he earns chatting up the locals. He’s more than aware of his “place" in the world and appears very comfortable in his own skin. He likes to make people feel good about themselves.
He has a somewhat cynical view on many things, making ridiculous pop culture references to life circumstances and tending to be quite dry and sarcastic in any “humoured" responses.
He doesn’t really expect much from life nor from those around him. He tends to have a view point of “wing it and see", but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t work hard. Reece’s initial goal starting college was to study to be a lawyer, but he didn’t enjoy it and has tried several courses since, sometimes juggling several at once and never appearing to settle on any one interest for long. He's seemingly lost his way a little with what he feels he wants to do with his life. Paying his way through college; he’s been taking more and more bar shifts and attending far fewer classes of late. Close friends are concerned he’s not reaching his full potential.

• Somehow acquired the skill of picking locks. Won’t say how he learned this or how he got so good at it.
• Enjoys movies, the occasional book and has a guitar in the corner of his room slowly gathering dust

History:

Reece actually spent at least half of his life in Northern England, moving to America when his dad got a job over there and the family was towed along for the ride. Being schooled in England for 13 years, his accent is now a rather jumbled mismatch of Californian-Yorkshire. Odd words here and there may be misunderstood at first. But when he realises he has slipped and used an unfamiliar colloquialism, he quickly translates to those around him.

“I was brought up watching all sorts of old horror. My favourite horror film is Hellraiser, but honestly, the one that freaked me out the most – that one scene in Silence of the Lambs with the night vision. That and the creepy ass chick from the ring who crawls out the T.V. Really shouldn’t have watched that at 2am in the dark on my own.”

Persona: Alisha is the "bitch" of the group. She is very confident, loves how she looks and not afraid to tell it how it is. Likes to be the leader but just comes off as bossy, so people don't like to follow along. Although most people in her social circle still do as she says because shes popular. Whenever someone disagrees with her way of thinking she tends to argue back, thinking she is always right, about most things. Tending to put people down verbally, if in an argument. Although she is pretty sarcastic, she doesn't appreciate it being directed back at her. The way she treat she others, sort of stems from the fact her parents are so strict so she lets her frustrations out on other people, but mostly she loves being in charge.
She has a love for adventure and goes out on walks whenever shes not studying or reading, preferring to go out alone when she does. Alisha also loves a good party, taking the chance to dance the night away.
Alisha normally wears cute outfits that clash that with her personality. Also she occasionally dyes her hair blonde.

If in danger she would rely on others to keep her safe and would almost definitely freak out at any sight of gore. Although if she was by herself she would force herself to step up, although the gore would still be a big issue. Also when shes scared she gets a really bad potty mouth.
Her parents put great pressure on her to do well in school and therefore she has a great fear of failure.
A common theme with her close relationships is she doesn’t really get along with them and she is envious or certain traits or lifestyles. Though of course she’d never admit it.

History: After living in Korea for 14 years, Alisha's family decided to move America. This was an opportunity for Alisha to reinvent herself into the bad ass she is today, becoming popular pretty quick. Her parents were pretty well off, with great jobs. So she is used to getting the whatever she wants. Although she was popular, outspoken and a little bit of bully at times. she still got consistently great grades. This trend continued into college, where she evolved a more argumentative side. Using her popularity to control others. Although she still found it harder with people who weren't in her social group, but it was a challenge she accepted.

Relationships;
Vincent is her closest thing to a best friend, although she'd never admit it. They started off rocky, with him scaring the sh*t out of her but eventually they grew closer. She doesn't let anyone else give him a hard time, other than her.
Emilia and Alisha butted heads a lot, being polar opposites. Even with being in the same friend group, they really disliked each other and they argued a lot. Secretly Alisha was envious of Em's rebellious side, always wishing she could rebel against her parents.

Reece and Alisha also clashed occasionally, if she didn't have such a big bitch persona to uphold she might have thought he was pretty cool. If he ever tried to flirt with her it would be met with eye rolls and sassy comments.

Vincent is the jack-of-all-trades in the group. A man who's dedicated to his craft that he does everything he can to be one with the character that he is playing. This led him to learning a lot of things - ranging from actual fencing to even a little bit of hacking. He's as talented as he is hardworking. He's dedicated himself to his craft and has done everything he can to improve himself in the thing he loves the most. He loves getting people into theater, and will help them as best he can. He wants to spread the love for acting. Despite being helpful, he can come off as arrogant and boastful when he talks about his own achievments. He can also be a bit dramatic and likes to add a flair to his movements, often being seen as theatric - using big movements to emphasize what he's talking about. A bit annoying but people can get used to it.

Sometimes, the mask becomes the man. He is used to acting in front of people, so much so that he acts even when he isn't on stage or in front of the camera. Indeed, he has donned personalities to please those that are with him, changing himself ever so slightly so that he can get along with the person he's talking to. He has become a full-time actor. History:

When his mother was pregnant with him, she left Australia to live with her then-fiance in America. Thus, he was born in San Diego, California. With his mother picking up a job as a scriptwriter for a small-time company and his father being a highly renowned doctor, Vincent actually had quite a spoiled childhood. He could get whatever he wanted if he asked his parents to. He was an only child too, so he never knew the feeling of having to compete for his parents' attention. However, Vincent was a child who cannot stay put inside the house. Every after school, his mother would take her to her job so that she could keep an eye out for him. This was when he became fascinated with acting as he watched. He grew up with the theater troupe that they were practically his family.

All throughout his school, he had been in the Drama Club. He never led it personally, but he has taken some of the lead roles but that's only thanks to him winning auditions and the likes. He's been focused on actually becoming an actor with the approval of both of his parents and to the joy of the Silver Lining Theater Troupe. In high school, he met Darril since they had gotten a few classes together and the guy helped him out when he felt lost during class. They became quick friends. During his high school days, he's also become part of Silver Lining. The small-time company has become more and more famous and they have actually gone on tours and gotten more members.

Working hard to get accepted into USC, Vincent paused from Silver Lining with the permission of all of the members. He was thankful when he got accepted into USC and was beyond relieved that one of his goals had actually been reached. He learned so much more in school. But it is rather taxing to juggle his practices, his studies and his friends so he occassionally dips out of hanging out with them. However, he makes sure to go out with them every now and then to relieve some stress. Vincent also promised his troupe that he'd be back in action once he actually finished his undergrad program of theatre.

Vincent had no clear interest in the disappearances linked to the Dark Web. That was, until, it got personal. Darril Norman, one of his friends, disappeared after a certain video that is now dubbed as the 'Darril Normal Stream'. He thought it was a joke at first, but when he didn't appear the next day... or any other day after that, he genuinely got worried. He packed up and went with his friends to figure out what had happened to their friend.

Little did he know of the dangers that they were headed towards to.

"What I'm scared of? I don't watch much horror but based on my research on certain subject matters, what I'm more afraid of are actual mythologies. Like, skinwalkers and wendigos. But if movies... remember the Exorcist? That scared the living heaven out of me."

Rianna Ura Newton

"Rianna is a sweet girl. I know that she wants the spotlight, but doesn't angry with my antics that steal it from her. How interesting."

Vincent respects Rianna at a certain level. While they don't get into arguments, they don't get into many heart to hearts either. They're not the closest of friends, but can work together if they need to. He does admire her passion for chemistry and does cheer on for her so she wouldn't lose heart. He always attends her volleyball matches to cheer her on, but he sometimes does it in secret.

Zara Knowles

"Touch her and I'll prove to you that I do my own stunts."

Vincent is fiercely protective of Zara. Despite her being the mom of the group, he rarely goes to her for problems. Instead, he adopts the protective older brother role for her. Though he hates it when she presses on his own issues which leads to him not talking to her for a few hours, but he always seems to bounce back from that. Vincent will beat someone up if they decide to do something to Zara. And if he can't do it, Reece is always there to help out.

Reece Connor

"You'd think we're the type that doesn't get along right? The Drama Geek and The Bad Boy? This isn't the movies, boys, friendships are rarely simple."

Vincent and Reece hit it off well, actually. Though they wouldn't always be seen together, they have each other's back. There have been times where Vincent had to pick Reece up from parties just because the guy got wasted. They have a bond that can't be broken despite not being all that close. Vincent has always protected Reece's integrity or just simply left groups that continued to badmouth him.

Alisha Lee

"You should have seen our first meeting! It was hilarious! Though I did get slapped..."

Vincent and Alisha is one of those friendships that started from a bad thing. He had scared the living hell out of her back when he was setting up prank videos as part of a dare from his theater peer group, and he ended up getting slapped. They didn't talk to each other after that until Darril invited Alisha to the group. SInce then, the two had gotten closer. Vincent began to love her bit by bit, despite her rudeness. He began hanging around her more and more frequently and could arguably be the closest person to Alisha in the group. He is subtly manipulating her into joining dance workshops because of his knowledge of how she secretly enjoyed the first one.

Emilia Constance Newmin

"Don't mistake me, Emilia and I get along fantastically well. Though, I do hate how she implies that I am being fake to her."

Unsurprisingly, the two do get along well. When they try something new and needed a friend or supporter, they could always simply call each other up and the other would always be up to the task. Vincent has been trying to get her more into fashion as she seemed genuinely interestted, but she always kept on denying it. He's settled down from inviting her to shopping for some clothing for the "theater costume department" but has been complimenting her in her style. Emilia does notice how he changes ever so slightly to each person he talks to, so Vincent is disturbed by how she implies that he's faking all of it.

Regan Lee Mettler

"While Zara and Ri do take care of her, I make sure she gets her fair share of fun in her college days."

Vincent sees Regan as like most of the others do - the baby of the group. She was new, and he was already going to graduate. He jumped on the chance to show her around the school and they bonded over that. Soon enough, he was the one who showed her pubs that would be safe to hang out in, so long as she had someone to accompany her of course. He tends to go with her when she needs to kick back and relax.

History:
Zara was adopted when she was three. She never knew her biological parents and simply doesn't care to. As far as she is considered the people that raised her are her parents. Her parents were unable to have children and as a result adopted her and her two younger brothers, Lucas and Ryan. She had a relatively easy life through her younger years. Between the latest and greatest toys and the loving family shouldn't could ask for more. During high school Zara was part of the popular crowd and was even a part of the cheer squad. She dated a few guys but always felt that something was missing. It wasn't until she met what would be her long term girlfriend, Jayne in tenth grade. Zara and Jayne dated secretly thought the year and over summer. When Zara returned to school word had got around that she was gay. She lost a lot of friends but toughed through it. If they didn't wanna be friends with her so be it, she thought. Sadly both Zara and Jayne decided to call it quits when they both got accepted to colleges out of state.

She always tries to cheer on her friends, and she typically has enough energy to power a small home. She'd give you her last bus ticket without hesitation, but you'd have to teach her how to buy one in the first place. Regan still has a lot to learn, which is partially why she tends to follow the group and let others make decisions. When by herself, she tends to make important decisions on the fly. She is moderately conservative, and very religious, placing great importance in her faith, friends, and family. Regan tends to go through boyfriends relatively quickly, being rather flirty and open to dating, but very picky when it comes to whom she keeps around. Of course, her friends play a roll in this too, helping the naive girl to break up with those guys that are total creeps and/or controlling. Regan tries to avoid conflict as much as possible, choosing to reach a compromise or be the first to apologize when problems arise between her and the others.

History:
A 'southern belle' raised way up in North Dakota, Regan is the daughter of a former deputy sheriff. When oil was found under her parent's property, her parents sold their land and bought a large ranch in SoCal closer to their relatives.

Her parents would convince her to go to USC for college, the same school as her cousin Darril, and he would be the one to invite her into his friend group where the already popular girl would blossom. She gives them an unending source of humorous tidings, and anything whenever any of them may need it, and they keep her from doing stupid things like joining snobby sororities, dating drug dealers, and buying way overpriced coffee. The other girls are her role models, but she'll never admit it as after all, she's just one of them.

When the video of her cousin surfaced, Regan was very frightened by it. After a few phone calls she settled down into thinking it was a dumb prank until she didn't hear back from him. Now she's determined to get to the bottom of it, if it means solving the crime herself. Wouldn't he do the same for her?
