Spoiler: Lightning Meanings

- Red: A red lightning trail on a speedster means they have a negative connection to the speed force, or are connected to the Negative Speed Force, which is something that eats away at the normal speed force like a cancer. (The one NOT affected by the Negative Speedforce). The Negative Speed Force is man made. You can also have red lightning by being corrupted by the normal speed force because you committed a crime against the speed force somehow, usually by violating their laws of time travel.


- Orange/Yellow: Yellow/Orange trails mean that the speedster has a normal connection to the speed force, those with yellow lightning typically being inexperienced/unpracticed speedsters, and their lightning trail usually deepens to a darker yellow/orange trail when they become faster or start using their abilities more. Those with orange trails can usually slow down to make their trail yellow.


- White: A white trail has only been seen originating from Savitar's suit, when running


- Blue: Blue trails means that the speedster has been given an artificial connection to the speed force, like taking the Velocity drug, which makes you as fast as a speedster, but the Velocity drug slowly kills you.

Personality: Andrew seems to have a large ego, and usually, a person's first perception of his attitude would be right. Yes, he is very egotistical, and he's fully aware of this. He knows what's enough, and when to swallow this pride, and overconfidence in his abilities. He has a calm, but energetic disposition, and is a very sympathetic person. Despite being sympathetic, he is a strong follower of petty revenge, and never forgets anything that was done to him that was even slightly damaging.

History/Bio:
"Krukemeyer! Krukemeyer! Krukemeyer! Krukemeyer!"
He could hear them calling his name. His fans. They loved him, and he had only been doing this for so long. The cameras flashing, the roar of the applause coming from the cloud. It was both blinding and deafening. In a good way. He was getting on the bus from a Soccer game.

Ah, Soccer. He had played it all of his life, from 5 years old to where he was now. He loved it. He didn't know what it was about it that just ignited a certain kind of passion inside of him. He couldn't even describe to you why he liked it without saying "Just because." Upon leaving his game, he hopped on a bus, which was one of two, that took the entire USA team to the airport. Him being a new addition to the international team, he was frequently talked to by his teammates, as they wanted to get to know him. And get to know him they did on that flight.

Fast Forward

About a year later, Andrew was out spending his wealth that came from his occupation. He was on a cruise ship, near Central City. He had bought out the entire boat for the team and their friends and some party organizers. He was taking in the city view. He had seen on the news that a guy named The Flash had been super speeding around the city, saving people. It was an interesting concept to him. He had never seen The Flash, and he didn't even know if he existed or not. Hell, he didn't even live in the same state Central City was in. He was at the head of the ship with a lounging chair when the storm hit.

From where he was it, it was beautiful. A mix of yellow and orange lightning bolts, all striking the ground with seemingly no clouds in the sky, but Andrew couldn't feel anything besides concern for the inhabitants. He looks at his wine glass - a small glass filled with the most expensive wine he could find for himself. The liquid inside was floating; out of the glass, and in that moment, in that very second, a lightning bolt, different from the rest not only in the fact that it was away from the city, but because it was red, came down and smite him.

He was in a coma for a year. He had been cut from the team, and forgotten by most of his team.

But oh, did it feel good to be a Speedster.

Eh. Anything a Speedster can do, he can do, but since he's connected to a Negative Speed Force, he can:

Personality: August is a first and foremost gentlemen. His sincerity and dedication to his work is one of his good features. Killing those who threaten the law, the more he uses his speed, the more sinister he becomes. Slowly becoming the monster he fights against.

History/Bio:
August doesn’t like to bring up his past for multiple reasons, and he has made sure that it has been kept under wraps. All that is known is that he grew up with his grandparents in London, and slipped into a life of crime. But many details are missing in that story, and August has begrudgingly not provided them.
Though present day, August works at CCPD alongside his CSI partner, Barry Allen. Though his counterpart is more chipper than himself, he doesn’t mind Barry much. But his distain for the Flash is apparent in his work, and with a recent spree of gruesome murders, with no motive or pattern, the two must work together to find the culprit.

Powers: Regular Speedster Powers. His specialty though is being able to make himself a “speed construct” which is a vault of speed he can use for later usage, ultimately making him more deadlier and faster than imagined.

• Speed Force Conduit: Like the majority of other speedsters, Owen has a connection to an extra dimensional energy called "The Speed Force". This exact energy is what powers him and his abilities.
  • Speed Force Generator: Owen specifically is resistant to anyone stealing his speed, and generates/fuels the Speed Force with every step he takes. This is a special ability that was bestowed to him by the Speed Force itself--during his creation
  • Superhuman Speed: Speed Force conduits have one main ability above all else. Conduits are connected to the barrier and accumulation of all Speed known in their universe. These characters immediately understand how to run at superhuman speeds and their bodies instinctively understand how to react at high-speed situations. At his best, Owen was able to slightly pass Mach 14, or 10,656 miles per hour.
  • Superhuman Stamina: Speed Force conduits have to access the Speed Force for a number of different tasks. One effect is pulling the air away from the center in order to suffocate an enemy. Another effect is levitating whoever and whatever was in the center. They can also create powerful gusts of wind by rotating their arms at super-speed

His connection to the Speed Force is...well, conflicted. The Negative Speed Force and the Positive Speed Force are always tugging at him, depending on his emotional level (i.e. stress, anger, hatred, etc. will trigger red lightning. Calm, tranquility, happiness, etc. will trigger orange lightning). Depending on his state of emotion and such, Miles could have red lightning or a light orange-ish colored lightning trail.

Weaknesses: She, having just recently found out about her powers, isn't very used to them. Hell she can barely use advanced techniques and powers. She has a lot of potential, but is unable to access her true power as she currently is. She also doesn't have much fighting experience. Sure she's a speedster, but when it comes to true close combat, against a true fighter, she's almost useless.

*His Steamboat armour was a gift from Eobarde Thawne, and is a nanobiotic microweave that stems from his spine. Through a neurolink between the machinery and Derrick, he is able to force the future technology metal onto his body in a symbiotic fashion. The holes in the suit (along his rib cage, eye holes, chest, and mouth) are present as a means of releasing excess speed force energy as well as absorbing oxygen and kinetic energy from his surroundings. The armour, due to it's metal=like foundation, is lot stronger and heavier than the usual speedster suits, though as an added advantage of Derrick's unique speed force energy-generated strength, he can easily carry it along with him. The suit is fireproof and bulletproof..*

Extra: Unlike other speedsters, as a cause of his suit's configuration, speedforce energy only leaks out of the designated "holes" and not in an electricity-like streak behind him. This would only apply if he were to retract the suit back into his skin.

Personality:
Derrick sees himself as a wronged individual, wronged by his family, wronged by the Reverse Flash, and wronged by the speed force. He has developed a personal vendetta against Eobarde Thawne for raising him to become the killer he is now, and often questions why he hasn't taken his own life yet. Besides the grudges he may hold for the former Flash fanatic, along his exterior, Derrick is often seen as a relaxed and calm individual, and is constantly judging those around him, scanning for potential threats or allies. He's come to neglect a certain aspect of the human in him, but does retain the adulterous instinct most men have, lusting for most any woman that crosses his path. With making friends, Derrick finds it hard to cooperate with others, but will at least attempt a shot at teamwork if he finds the main goal important enough. In spite of what he might say, Derrick does care a boatload about his friends and allies, and would risk his life if that were the case. His undying loyalty has warranted an applause on countless occasions, though needless say, he's a potential team player.

History/Bio:
Derrick was borne to Patricia and Edwin Thompson, both politicians who'd worked hard to make their way to the top. His father was the mayor of Central City at the time of his birth, a thirty year old mayor, one of the youngest in the city's history. His mother was a part of the Democratic Party of Central City, and had campaigned alongside her husband for him to win the vote and become town Mayor. As a cause of his parents' jobs, Derrick was often left alone, an only child, and so his only friend was the butler, Felix Marigold, a gray-haired man who'd served the Thompson family for three generations. He trusted Felix, and was even tutored by the man as he struggled through school. Derrick had always been an athletic freak of nature, taller, stronger, and faster than all of his mates, though at Central City Prep, strong was seen as dumb. They were right, was all Derrick could tell himself. With his parents not too active in his life, he continued on to highschool, only making it through the support Felix had given him. By the time University came, Derrick hadn't recieved any letters, nor did he want any.

He was kicked out of his home for that deed, and remained on the streets for days, though luckily, by that time, the particle accelerator had exploded, landing Derrick in a coma for nine months, less than what most speedsters had been asleep for. The only family by his side by the time this had occured was Felix, who'd seemingly also paid his medical bills. He berated the old man for spending his pay on him, and immediately fled the hospital, where he realized he'd been changed as he ran all the way down to Zambesi, Africa. Derrick was able to find his way back, and noticed an increase in muscle and speed. He'd decided to piece his life back together, beginning as an Underground boxer for about a year before advancing to the CCBL.There, he encountered what had been deemed a "dead" Eobarde Thawne, who'd offered to teach him his speedster abilities. As this continued, Eobarde fed Derrick lies, forcing him to do crimes he didn't even know he was committing through a future century technology that blinded him into thinking murdering the high-ups was just tearing apart punching bags, etc., all before he "finished" the training. The death of a loved one was the last part of Eobarde's experiment in turning an orange-streak speedster into a red, the true reason he'd began training Derrick in the first place. The loss of Felix, whom Eobarde had murdered, put Derrick into a rage he never knew he'd escape. His lightning turned an unnatural red, an exception in how to obtain that kind of electricity. He beat Eobarde mercilessly, to the point where the Reverse Flash would be forced to flee the battle, and Derrick was too angry to follow. The funeral for Felix was very small, close friends and family members. Derrick continued on with the boxing though, and had began his speedster duties as a personal vendetta against Eobarde.

(Went off topic a lot in history. Main points are that the Reverse Flash killed a love one in order to fulfill his own "science experiment," and successfully turned an orange-streak speedster into a red. That was only phase one, though as the RP continues, I'll most likely have a full explanation as to why, I'm currently leaning onto Eobarde wanting to make another fighting machine that could've helped him beat Barry.)

Powers: Derrick has the usual speedster abilities, moving at hyper speeds, the electrokinesis and aerokinesis, and enhanced reaction-time and agility. His own special power is a speed-force energy fueled strength boost, that meaning, as long as he's powered up, either by running or some emotional trauma or adrenaline, he's going to obtain a super strength similar to that of Aquaman, not world-ending, but still warranting some attention (eg. picking up cars, breaking walls, etc.)

Weaknesses: He's been scarred by his experiences with Eobarde Thawne, as well as a troubled childhood. Derrick is also a hothead, and lacks in teamworking capabilities. His academic prowess is limited to slightly less than highschool average.

Spoiler: Lightning Meanings

- Red: A red lightning trail on a speedster means they have a negative connection to the speed force, or are connected to the Negative Speed Force, which is something that eats away at the normal speed force like a cancer. (The one NOT affected by the Negative Speedforce). The Negative Speed Force is man made. You can also have red lightning by being corrupted by the normal speed force because you committed a crime against the speed force somehow, usually by violating their laws of time travel.


- Orange/Yellow: Yellow/Orange trails mean that the speedster has a normal connection to the speed force, those with yellow lightning typically being inexperienced/unpracticed speedsters, and their lightning trail usually deepens to a darker yellow/orange trail when they become faster or start using their abilities more. Those with orange trails can usually slow down to make their trail yellow.


- White: A white trail has only been seen originating from Savitar's suit, when running


- Blue: Blue trails means that the speedster has been given an artificial connection to the speed force, like taking the Velocity drug, which makes you as fast as a speedster, but the Velocity drug slowly kills you.
