The leader is a very determined and hardworking person; almost too much. Lately, he's been having a habit of overworking himself; whether it be staying up too late to work or skipping meals. Jae Po takes his role as the leader very seriously. He can't let his six years of training go to waste; his years of pain, doubt, anger. He finally has the thing he's wanted in the palm of his hand. But, worst of all, he doesn't want to ruin it for his group.

Jae Po is prone to stress. When things don't go the way they should or something gets canceled, even before something as simple as a fan meet, he finds himself stressing out. He begins pacing around and thinking about the things that could go wrong. Of course, he has things to take off stress, mostly being things that distract him.

But, he isn't all negative. Happiness does come to him. He's grown to love his fellow bandmates and cares more about their wellbeing than his. He encourages them to eat well and go to bed early. If a fan is beginning to get a little touchy with them, he's the first to protect them. Even if one of the members scraps their knee, he still worries for them. Although he may look like he disregards skinship, he's a big fan of it. For him, it's a sense of security and comfort. In some ways, it keeps grounded when he's in states of stress.

Not only does he care about the other members, but he also cares greatly about their fans. He is regularly updating on the group's Instagram/Twitter and interacting with fans in the comment section.

Personality: Han-sol is a warm-hearted young man who wants nothing more than to shower his friends and family with love and affection. He will always be there to listen to your problems. He is very reliable and likes to take care of others. He's attuned to the feelings of others and can usually tell if there's something wrong. Han-sol is a highly affectionate person who loves to cuddle and is always full of life. With his close friends, he can be playful and mischievous.
However, Han-sol is deeply out of touch with his own emotions and tends to shove them to the side whenever possible. He is so preoccupied with others that he forgets to take care of himself. [div class=scroll]kim jae-joon is very interested in any type of musical art, especially rapping, it's his specialty. he looks like someone that does the complete opposite, because of his soft face, and features, and chocolate brown eyes that you could just stare into for days. he's responsible and he despite being the youngest, he keeps the members in control, somewhat like a nurturing mother would in some type of way. he's gentle, enthusiastic and individualistic. his friends count on his responsible natures and his mother-like qualities when they need him at times. also, something that clashes with being the youngest, is his ability to maintain the spot of being the lead rapper out of all the people in his group. if you were to look at him, you would probably think he was either a visual or a lead dancer or vocalst, but rapping has been his passion since a young age.
not necessarily rapping, but he was a good poet in about fifth grade. he knew that being a poet wouldn't bring in money for his future family, so he wondered what it would be like if he were able to turn that poety into rap of some sort. of course not as soft-spoken as his poems once were, but he figured that it wouldn't be too hard to turn it into a song, which brings him to the present, when he's nineteen years old.

history
[div class=scroll]jae-joon was born in daegu, south korea. he was born in a sort of extended family, because his grandmother lived with him along with his mother and father. his grandfather had died a couple years before he was born, and his grandmother really didn't enjoy the feeling of being in a home by herself. he was a messy and mischievous baby like most, and he really enjoyed coloring. as soon as he figured out how to pick up a crayon and hold it steadily in his hand, he would always color. he liked to draw his mother, his father and his mama, which was his grandmother. he always thought of her as a second mother, until he grew up, which was when he actually figured out that was his grandmother.

when he was about 10 or 11, he enjoyed writing poems. he wrote poems almost as much as he colored when he was a baby. he usually got picked on for doing it, because most kids were found on their phones, playing games or listening to music. jae-joon just found himself listening to music, yet it wasn't in school at all. he didn't really mind the teasing, because he knew that he was going to get somewhere, or do some great things, writing poems. he knew the kids that would be on their phones to no end would probably get nowhere. by the time he was 14, he had a whole three subject notebook filled with nothing but poems. he knew where each and every one of them were, and he would show his close friends and his family his favorites. his grandmother was the one who suggested he should turn these poems into songs. his grandmother was much more of an inspiration to him than his mother or father would ever be. she told him about the time when she was young, and how she was different from a whole lot of people like jae-joon was when he was in fifth grade. his grandmother would always proofread his poems and tell him what was wrong about it, and how he should change it to make it better. and jae-joon really appreciated his grandmother's help. until the day she died. he was thankful yet frustrated and confused as to why she had to die when he had needed her the most.

that was when he started writing more., sad poems i guess i could say. angry ones, ones filled with sadness that were obviously over someone's death, but he would never say who.
at about 15 or 16, jae-joon found an ad about blank entertainment. he wondered what would happen, or what would come out of it if he were to audition. he told his parents about it, and they weren't really on board with the whole idea, but he convinced them to let him go, thinking this could finally be the time he could put his poems to good use.
after auditioning and being accepted, jae-joon cried.
cried for what seemed like months. he was so happy that he had made it in, and that he had got somewhere, just like he had thought when he was in the fifth grade. he thanked his grandmother for everything, and he still does to this day.

Considering Jae Po's frequency of being of being stressed out, it'd be fair to say that Jiao tries his best to use his wit and joyous nature to try and take the edge away from Jae-Po's responsibilities. Alongside this, Jiao looks up to and respects Jae-Po as a leader and somewhat sees him as a father figure. As a result, Jiao feels incredibly close with him, but tries not to unload his own problems onto Jae-Po because Jiao recognizes how much stress Jae-Po is under and how much people are looking up to him.

Han-sol ( Stellar Nursery Stellar Nursery )
Personally, I think it would be adorable if Han-sol perhaps helped Jiao learn Korean whilst they were trainees. And as a result, I feel like they'd be quite close, especially considering Han-sol's rather touchy nature and Jiao's necessity for attention because 1- he likes the attention and 2- he's deeply insecure and lowkey touch-starved and would love Han-sol for simply existing. Also, they both have enjoying cooking in common, so it'd be cute for them to cook together. And they're both on the vocal line so overall I'm pretty sure they'd have a good relationship.

Jiao sees Jisung as a big teddy-bear, more than likely very comfortable being around him and having skinship with him. In addition, Jiao would more than likely be incredibly glad that someone is perhaps as clingy as he is. Considering not only how warm Jisung is, but also how skilled at dancing he is, Jiao would most probably feel comfortable in asking him for help when learning the choreography for songs and in improving his movements.

Jae-joon ( kouzcy kouzcy )
Jiao-Long is incredibly fond of Jae-Joon, and is often very needy around him. Jiao deeply respects Jae-Joon's skills as a rapper, in complete awe of his flow and passion. As well as this, Jiao finds himself enjoying writing lyrics for songs alongside Jae-Joon. In addition, since he is arguably the less severe of the two cooks within the group, Jiao finds himself incredibly grateful for Jae-Joon's incredible ability to produce snack foods from seemingly nowhere, but is always happy to cook Jae-Joon his own, healthier food when he wishes.

Song-gi ( southside. southside. )
Perhaps a little intimidated by Song-gi, Jiao would constantly try to gain his approval by approving to his better nature. Jiao would cook with the purpose of making Song-gi happy and would probably be less excitable and needy around Song-gi, not wanting to upset or anger him. As well as this, dancing isn't one of Jiao's personal strengths, so he's deeply in awe of Song-gi's skills. He also looks up to Song-gi in the sense of how decisive and strongwilled Song-gi is.

Min-cheol ( hwayi hwayi )
Their relationships is somewhat symbiotic. Jiao constantly begs for both attention and affection, whilst Min-Cheol repeatedly asks for Mandarin lessons. Jiao can't help but giggle at the stark difference between an on-camera and an off-camera Min-Cheol, often lovingly teasing him because of it. Jiao doesn't think Min-Cheol has to prove anything him in terms of maturity, since in all honest Jiao is far from being mature. As a result, Jiao would probably disregard Min-Cheol's arguably colder exterior and pester him anyway.

Mu-yeol ( Garnet Garnet )
Jiao somewhat connects with Mu-Yeol in the sense that they are both foreigners by nationality. As a result, Jiao understands his tendency to occasionally to fall quiet when off-camera. Nonetheless, I can imagine that Jiao is a little less intimidated by Mu-Yeol as compared to Song-Gi, due to Mu-Yeol's frequency of quips and sarcasm would often get a laugh out of Jiao. With that being said, I don't think they would initially have a particularly intimate relationship initially, and Jiao would have to take a little time to approve of Mu-Yeol's more reckless endeavours.

Hyeseong ( chamomile chamomile )
To an extent, these two are a little like a Yin and Yang, in the sense their personalities are somewhat opposites, yet they are often found together. Jiao constantly bounces jokes off of whatever Hyeseong says, and together they're comparable to a hurricane. They can get pretty out of control and other members may even think they're weird, but their relationship is quite special. Jiao is thankful for how Hyeseong constantly hypes him up, and does his best to do the same in return.

personality-

On the surface of things, it could be argued that Jiao is relatively spacey or perhaps even a little ditsy. His carefree, bubbly and loud personality can often translate into him being perceived as unintelligent when in fact it's quite the contrary. Jiao is incredibly sociable and has a great love for his other group members, considering them to be family. He's kind and amiable, able to publically speak and hold conversations with relative ease, as it comes so naturally to him. Whilst it's undeniable that he may be a little mischievous and enjoys joking around, he also is deeply fond of both writing and reading, often writing his own lyrics for songs.

However, it's fair to say that his rather boisterous persona may sometimes be a little overwhelming for other people who are not particularly used to him. In addition to this, perhaps his biggest vice is his inability to be independent. Perhaps due to his Libra tendencies, Jiao despises being alone and requires constant attention and affection, as if he was a baby. He doesn't particularly excel with advice, but always attempts to make his other members feel better when they're feeling down, whether it be through physical reassurance or through cracking jokes.

Though he will deny it, Jiao has a proclivity for feeling insecure and doubting himself. Whilst he isn't often stressed about the strains of Idol life, sometimes he feels as if he doesn't deserve to be successful and that he isn't as good as he could be, or isn't as good as his fellow members. Alongside this is a tendency to be self-pitying, which can be incredibly detrimental to his mental health.

backstory-

Xiang Jiao-Long was born in the Jinshan district of Shanghai, China. His parents were the owners of a small restaurant tucked away in the alleyways of downtown Shanghai. Whilst his upbringing was not overly glamorous, his family were able to survive and live happily as China's industries revolutionized throughout the years. At the age of 14, his father recommended he should audition for SM Entertainment, who were currently holding global auditions. Jiao was unsuccessful in auditioning, instead auditioning for JYP's global auditions a year later at the age of 15. Unfortunately, Jiao was also turned down by SM entertainment. Somewhat dejected, Jiao began to focus more on his schoolwork. He wasn't particularly popular in school, but the friends he had were very close to him. The day before his seventeenth birthday, his school friends suggested he applied for Blank Entertainment's auditions. Jiao said he'd only go if his friends auditioned with him so, albeit reluctantly, he auditioned with his friends.
What was unexpected to him, he had been accepted and within a month or so he flew to Korea and began his training under the company.

PERSONALITY
Song-gi is an exceptionally hot-headed person. He is essentially the person you'd see out in public picking a fight with someone at the grocery store. His short temper gets him into plenty of trouble and he tends not to hold back his anger. If anything, he loves the adrenaline rush that comes from starting a fight. The feeling of your heart racing and the built in fight or flight response just gets him pumped. You'd think that someone of his age and status would act more professional but he doesn't seem to change his demeanor for anyone. While the severity of his rage may range from person to person, one can easily pick him out to be someone with a short fuse.

Going hand and hand with his usual angry temperament comes Song-gi's willingness to defend those that he cares about. He may not show it in front of them but if he hears people gossiping about them he is always the one to defend them at all costs. If he were able to stay with said people and grown to like them, why would anyone have any reason to hate them?

Contrary to his violent nature, Song-gi keeps a very tidy work space and knows how to take care of himself well. Out of the many things he doesn't take kindly to, messy living spaces may just be at the very top of his list. He's always the first to clean up after everyone even if it's something as little as a sock left on the ground. He'd even go as far as hounding the others over the smallest mess.

What seems to be the only admirable trait of Song-gi's is how hard-working he is when it comes to dancing. It may just be the fact that he loves to dance but he's always looking to improve his talent. Not only that but he hates giving up on himself. To him, giving up is a sign of weakness and knowing what he's passionate about is enough of a reason for him to keep going, improving, and striving to be the best he could be.

Muyeol is a charmer. On events and interviews, his demeanor is light, sparkling, expensive and a little bit flirtatious; dazzling fans with heart signs and winks. Attention seeker he may be, Muyeol doesn't speak on camera much, outside of streams. Rather, he gives the occasional quip and lets his teammates playfully chastise him for being messy or misbehaving.

Although just digging a little bit deeper than the picture-perfect public face, Muyeol is a troublemaker. It's not so much rebellion or mischief, but that Muyeol wants things the rules don't let him have. It isn't uncommon for teammates to find him sneaking in junkfood and cup noodles to share on long nights (that's not the only things he's hiding, but clearly, he's more careful with them), or flirting with a particularly cute fan.

With teammates, Muyeol is relaxed and more sincere, just not in the traditional sense. He has no brain-to-mouth filter, letting slip both loving affection and cruel sarcasm, though thankfully, most of the time he just wants his friends to be happy. He's also particularly touchy when in this state, whether that be a brush of fingers on cheeks, gently squeezing shoulders or pulling the closest teammate into a hug and keeping them prisoner. There's not much to it; he's touch-starved and has abandonment issues.

Muyeol is center because he's got an ego and knows how to look good, that much is clear. His dancing is decent and his stamina is acceptable. What he contributes to the group vocally and musically is, however, is more nuanced. His voice doesn't stand out, but he backs up the other singers with harmony and texture, able to manipulate his voice to sound wildly different. Musical ideas come to Muyeol sporadically, he keeps a score book close by for anything that may come and go, and will often spend whole days holed up in the studio (occasionally with a stimulant like say adderall. technically illegal. he thinks the managers may have caught on).

At the age of 9, Muyeol moved from Perth to Busan as his parents separated and his father took custody. His childhood was not the kindest; populated with a distant father and a doting caretaker, whom he loved more than anything.

Schools was a breeze for him. Muyeol was too smart for his own good and had too much time to spare. Time he invested in parties, girls and music. Here, he fed his talents and started bad habits, both of which he carried on to his recruitment into Blank Entertainment. (he was weary not to leave a trail back to this stage of his life, but who knows, he may have missed a spot)

Yours Truly was everything Muyeol had wanted, he just didn't know it and it didn't take long for Muyeol to love his teammates like family.

Does this put a damper on their relationship? Probably. Try as he may, Muyeol can't seem to see Jaepo as a peer, as opposed to simply a role model. He often teases Jaepo for those very traits and talks to him like he would any other close friend, but the truth is, Muyeol is terrified of disappointing him.

though this is just his method of relieving his worries as an otherwise open book. the members would solve this by holding eye contact when talking to him and cameras keep him focused in working conditions.

notably hyeseong has a serious duality when it comes to stage presence, acting seamlessly into the concept despite his dancing admittedly lacking.

unfortunately he also lacks stamina and gets tired easily, healthy amount of sleep or no. you can always find him dozing off in the waiting room, knocked out on member's shoulders in the car or exhausted after exerting himself.

passiveness becomes a side effect. he accepts things too well, allowing mcs to diss him and fansites to come too close. he rather not waste his energy being argumentative, instead maintaining his polite and humble demeanour.

hyeseong is a go-with-the-flow and optimistic person. he sees the best in people and genuinely enjoys being an idol, fan interactions and teasing his members. as the second moodmaker, he does his best with reactions to set the atmosphere which usually means that he laughs, claps, yells and gets embarassed like second nature.

in social situations, he looks the most chattiest among them only because his members are more reserved in comparison. if not the leader, he would willingly volunteer to answer questions during interviews, tell anecdotes or exchange banter as long as someone's making sure he's paying attention.
