This is the Cs thread for the Supression Bureau and the Mistwalkers.

Personality: Rarely ever does things in a heat-of-the-moment way unless something really bothers her or makes her angry
Background: as a child she was abandoned and taken in by a man named Anthony, who raised her like a daughter. She was home schooled and learned to do things most people don't usually do as a child, like learning to hunt live animals for food, and prepare them, also learning to protect herself with random household objects due to them living in a deprived area with high crime rates. She also has a natural artistic talent so took to learning how to tattoo when she was 15, although most of her customers were Anthony and herself.
Other details: she always has some sort of blade with her to make her feel safer and won't go anywhere without doing research about where the place is and the areas around.

Name: Petar Eriksson
Age: 36
Appearance:

Occupation: Former US Army Grenadier turned professional bank robber.
Personaity: Sarcastic and free spirited, Petar loves a laugh when he's not holding up banks or drunkenly fighting in bars. He takes advantage of what he sees as a blessing, not a curse. Hee not typically afraid of the Law or the consequences of his actions, but does fear death and the Bureau.
Background: He migrated to the US in 1886 as a young boy with his family and other norweigain settlers, which were mostly wiped out by cholera. After that he wound up enlisting and was dishonorably discharged for mis-appropriating military grade explosives to outlaw gangs. He went on to use his powers and his knowledge to rob banks, killing his associates intentionally with the un-needed explosives, know in he'd get a larger cut for less work otherwise.
Other: He is known and wanted by both US federal agents AND the Supression Bureau. Because of this he's always carrying a lighter, a few sticks of dynamite, and a German Mauser Pistol.

Name: Sieglinde Roth (goes by Johanna)
Age: 28 (Born October 17, 1876)

Occupation: Former Circus Performer, turned (now escaped) mental patient

Personality: A rather anxious and flighty woman. Generally a quiet, nervous person except for on stage. She is paranoid of the Bureau after escaping a Bureau facility in Germany. Rather fond of her powers, and loves storms. Timid, but can open up once she truly trusts someone.

Background: Born and raised in the German Empire, Sieglinde was raised with her best friend Johann. They both were from Mistwalker families, who kept themselves secret. When Johann was 16 and Sieglinde was 15, they ran off to join the circus. When the ringleader left, Johann became the new Maestro. He used his powers as a magician, with Sieglinde as his assistant. Sieglinde originally was a sword swallower, but became a fire dancer and eater. There were several other Mistwalkers in the troupe, and the normal people knew but stayed quiet. They were all a family. They travelled all around the Empire, wowing audiences.

When she was 21, after performing for Emperor Wilhelm II, Sieglinde was approached by a Bureau member. She ratted out her fellow troupe members to save her own skin. The troupe was raided, but Sieglinde wasn't spared like they said she would be. They captured her, and locked her up in a Bureau facility disguised as a mental asylum. She was wracked with guilt and shame.

She eventually escaped though, using an opportunity, fleeing the country. She knew they would be after her, so she turned into mist, riding a storm to San Francisco. She went by Johanna, in honor of the love of her life who she betrayed. She hasn't been there long.

Other details: Often called a madwoman, she is wracked by guilt over selling out her troupe the the Bureau. Often talks to herself, seeing and hearing things that are not there. Has nightmares about her old troupe. Her English isn't the best, but she can hold her own in a conversation.

Doesn't talk much of her past, given she is wanted by the Bureau in Europe. Always carries matches, her sword cane, and wears Johann's old scarf and a locket he got her. Goes by Johanna Roth in the US. She used a few connections to get her old stuff back, stuff she had in the circus.

Name: John Hoyt

Occupation: Novelist (Dime, Horror and Journalism)

Personality: John is a nihilist who finds few silver linings despite the wealth he has. He translates his dispeasured opinons through his writing decent-selling novels, and ofter corresponds with other literary writers across the country. He is too curious for his own good and dislikes what he has learned about himself and his powers.

Background: John was born into a semi-wealthy family in Frisco, who gained their fortune selling the farmland they lived on to the Kerosene and Tar plant for an expansion. His discovery of his powers frightened him as a small child, as he didn't like what it allowed him to get away with. This fear grew to distain for his powers and refuses to use them whenever plausable.

Other: He has the wealth of his family at his fingertips as well as an extensive library of occult lore among the more regular books he has.
