Dislikes: Unhealthy foods, hates getting her hair wet or swimming in general, rap/heavy music, she hates doing chores/cleaning, she hates being told what to do or has a lack of choices/freedom, and really dislikes when people are closed-minded.
Backstory: When she was eight, she was adopted into an American family. Her family lived on a small farm in Kansas and it took awhile to get used too. When she turned 18, she officially changed her last name to that of her adopted family. As she was adopted when she was an older child, she was able to retain her Korean, and her adopted family even learned Korean for her as well as taught her English. She has an adoptive sister but they get along as if they were blood. When Mei graduated high school, she moved. Though her family was sad, it was what she wanted to do. So she went to college in New York and since then stayed there, getting a job there as well. Mei got a dual degree, a Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and has gotten a job in both of her fields.

Backstory: Family is everything for Evalyn when she was growing up. Coming from a large family, it was something she slowly grew to learn. Being the only daughter of five children, Evalyn was much more sheltered. Live on the bay side of South Carolina was nice but it was hard sometimes. Certain things weren't allowed even when she got older. Evalyn's first shot at freedom was the day she got admitted to attending a college in Idoha for her Literature and Creative Writing degree. Her family was against it, but she didn't care.
Packed with the minimal things she really needed and the money she had raised up during high school, she left home. School was always a safe haven for her. She quickly finished her bachelors and headed home to visit. On her graduation party, she and her then-boyfriend, Tarrance, went out for drinks with their friends. The night was a blur to her but didn't mind it as she was going to go see her family after four long years. After the summer spent with her family she came to find out that she was pregnant.
Back in Idoha, she brings the news to her boyfriend who was shocked. Fight after fight of him telling her to get rid of it, she decided to kick him out of her home. The first two years of raising Daniel on her own were hard, but she worked through it. She was lucky to have been signed into a publishing company where she began her journey as an author. Once she was stable and comfortable, she decided it was time to bring home the news she had kept from her family.
Evalyn moved back to South Carolina to be closer to her family. It was a shock to her family, but they cared for Daniel and her like nothing was different. She continued to work on her writing as she raises Daniel. Tarrance, after he married an old friend of theirs, began to come into Daniel's life, even if it's only a month in the year.

Jacobi is a person that most people would befriend due to his intellectual and understanding nature but others tend to stir away from due to his blunt and cunning ways. Jacobi has always been the intelligent one in his family and people have looked up to him because of that fact. Not to say that his parents and siblings are not intelligent but Jacobi just picks up on things a lot faster than them and sometimes they get mad but he doesn't really care. He is also very clever and is a quick thinker when it comes to almost anything. Jacobi is an understanding type of person and no matter whom you are or what problem big or small that you have, he will listen. He doesn't just listen and understands people's problems but he also understands their ideas as well. He will give great and detail communication towards the person he is advising and hopes that they take his advice and use it to their advantage.

Being responsible is something that Jacobi had to learn from personal experience. He became more responsible around the house and even helped them out with the chores and housework. Jacobi's words can be either helpful or harmful towards others. If they are harmful, that's because he is very blunt and intends not to hurt anyone's feelings. He tries his best not to be brutally blunt but sometimes, it doesn't work out the way he wants it too. Jacobi will apologize as long as the other person doesn't flip him off or get mad and go on a rage fit towards him. He is also very cunning and is able to get himself and others out of almost any sticky situation. His words are very persuasive that even he believes half of the cunning schemes that he has been into. One last trait that Jacobi has is being very flirty towards guys but will take it too far, sometimes. He does flirt with girls, too.

When one first looks at Jayden, they think that he is someone you can easily pushover but he is the complete opposite. He is very bold and will stand his ground against anyone, no matter who you are. Most people think that Jayden has a huge ego but he is not like that, at all. It's his arrogance comes off wrong towards people but he is just purely confident within himself. He is kind and caring, at times and is not a mean person, at all. It's just that he doesn't think before he speaks sometimes and it can be pretty annoying. He is also a huge goofball, always telling jokes or playing jokes on others. He knows his boundaries and will never mess with or attack anyone personally and professionally. Jayden is a great person to be around and he will befriend almost anyone. He is a very positive person, always finding ways to lift up others and himself. Born and raised in Colorado, Conner worked as a cop in Denver for over ten years, six of which was spent as a homicide detective. Quirks
Has this "drummer syndrome", which means when listening to music he'll tap his foot/finger along to the beat without noticing it. Doesn't matter if he likes the song in question or not.
Always carries around at least a pocket knife and a tiny box of tools.
Gets distracted easily by things that reminds him of his work (he's the guy who'll stop in older train stations to look at the clocks/ceiling)
Forgets about his phone and is terrible at answering it because it's either not charged / he forgot where he put it.
After working on international projects for years he usually speaks english by default, but he will still fall back into a mix of german and french when agitated.

Background

Nathan was born to an Austrian father and a French mother as the youngest of three children, with an older sister and a younger brother. He grew up bilingual, and the family frequently visited his mother's side of the family in france. After entering university with the goal of becoming a teacher, he learned about his passion for restoring objects during a class he had taken for extra credit. That, coupled with the fact that he still liked children, but hated dealing with a lot of the parents, made him switch his courses and instead become a professional conservator. Due to the nature of his work he still traveled a lot (mostly through europe), working on different projects and for different museums. However, the (persistent) nagging of his mother finally had an affect on him after years, and he's decided to take a sabbatical to figure out what he really wants to do with his life from now on. So far he's always enjoyed traveling and more or less living out of his suitcase, but he also knows that this lifestyle will not allow him to have a family ,as he wouldn't want to subject them to constant moving around. The ticket win coincides with his sabbatical, and he sees this as an ideal chance to think about his priorities and direction in life.
