Welcome to Crystal Rivers Magic Academy, where novice mages of every species come to learn the art of magic.........or any path of weapon play. There is very little core school curriculum, and the most is focused on Magic and the Philosophy of such.

tlom__school_yard_bg_by_exitmothership-d66d3yq.jpg

Teachers aren't held to the rigorous, boring, creativity-killing standards all around. Teachers are allowed to make their own lessons and give students tasks to complete for the passing grade. All core curriculum is at the behest of the teacher

As amazing as CRMA is, there is something else at hand that's not as amazing. Some secrets being kept from students. Some actions that reflect something different than what the students are being told.

Terrance had come in a little early today. He was excited to meet some new students and members of his club. He couldn't wait to see the looks on their faces as they walked into a class with a wolf for a teacher. Still appearing formal, he took of his overcoat to reveal his vest and white undershirt. He had his usual orange tie on as well. Though it could be considered light clothing he was still hot due to his fur. As students would walk into his room they'd find him sitting at his desk organizing papers and chewing on a jerky stick. Hey, a carnivore needs meat. Let's see how things will be this year he thought as he waited for his students.

Miss Blood laughed with a "wine" glass in her hand, she chatted with a fellow demon, lower class of course who simply ferried souls but he was a good person nonetheless. She looked at the time and mentally prepared herself, downing the blood in her glass before sighing. "I'll see you boys later," she made a lazy salute to the group of demons before twisting her hand and summoning a portal, a swirling mass of purple and black, she stepped through behind her black desk and ran a sharp fingernail along the board. "Hmmm, what if the kids have mixed classes at the same time? Hopefully the school board can sort out there timetables," Cecilia chuckled before performing what appeared to be a shiver as her form changed to a full human image, she'd wait to scare the Hell out of them, literally!

With a sigh she sat at her desk, poised and perfect as she stared at a nail and flipped her red hair. She was to reach History of Magic, and control of powers and safety, only to see kids hurt themselves because it was funny. The succubi opened a drawer and wrote out two class topics, she'd allow the students to decide their first few lessons.

Now where was her register?

-

Astrea rolled out of her bed and then wacked herself on the ceiling as she floated upwards, the cave wall left a red marl but it had quickly disappeared within seconds. The mermaid swished her tail towards some stairs that curved round to dry land, a second room. She quickly changed into a human form and threw on some clothes, a dress to be precise with a simple pair of black flats.

Astrea opened the door of her room in the Academy and hurriedly headed towards her classroom passing a fellow beast teacher. "Morning Terrance, hope you slept well," she bowed her head politely as her bright purple eyes and hair caught the light as she peeked her head round the door frame.

"Do you have the class schedules? Mine got a little...wet?" Astrea laughed and shrugged that was all too common for the mermaid but who could blame her?

Sammy woke with a fire in his chest. It was the day he had been waiting for. The D-Day of his
adolescent life. It was the day to go to Crystal Rivers. Samuel nearly jumped out of his bed at the sound of his alarm clock on his phone. The continuous beeping was silenced by his hand slamming down on it. He pulled open his drawer and grabbed a shirt and a pair of cargo shorts. As he ran out of his bedroom door he swung into the bathroom to make sure he didn't have any fur sticking up from sleeping. None to be seen, he walked back out to the kitchen. His mother knew about him leaving and had a meal already prepared. After eating, Sammy looked to his parents with a smile. "Guess I'm off" he said. His mother and father nodded and waved. He grabbed the car keys and drove off.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He arrived at the academy a little earlier than expected. Samuel looked down at the clock on the dash. "A little early" he said with a chuckle. Grabbing his schedule, his duffel bag full of belongings, and his phone and exited the vehicle. As he made his way up the stairs to the academy he looked down at his schedule. Science first he though as he folded it up, stuck it in one of the pockets, and looked up at the people approaching the school. What are the people who've never seen a Beast gonna think about me. Can't wait he thought as he continued up the steps.

(anyone who wants to take notice to the little fox climbing the stairs)

Alyssa walked in shyly to see a wolf in a suit. Of course. Alpha Team. It made sense more

She looked at that flyer to make sure it was the right room

"Er...... Is this the room for the Alpha Team? Or is it after?"
Raku Raku

Terrance was surprised to see that the first person to enter his room was another teacher, Astrea to be correct. He knew what she was and understood why her schedule would be soaked. He looked through a small stack of papers on his desk and picked out the class schedules. He stood up and walked over to her, his nails clicking against the floor with each step. "I do actually. Here" he said as he handed her the paper. Terrance was next met with another face, a student to be exact. "Right room, wrong time. After my class we meet here before training" he said with a chuckle. One of the most memorable things about Terrance Eben was his accent. It was slight but still noticeable.

Jacen smiled as he rolled out of his dorm bed. He got to see his current favorite teacher Mr. Eben. Not only see his teacher, but meet some new people. He was always a social person and loved to meet new people. He walked over to his dresser and pulled out an Aeropostale sleeveless and a pair of black athletic pants. He dressed himself and headed out to his first class, which was luckily Mr. Eben's science class. After some walking, he waited to the side of the door as he heard Mr. Eben talking.

Astrea smiled gratefully at the wolf man. "Thank you, enjoy the first class, your students are quite early I must say," she chuckled before giving the man a wave and heading out the door. She smiled at a boy waiting outside and she waved, her purple hair dancing about her as she wandered off.

"Science with Terrance, which means after that it should be Cecilia's class, on...she wandered what class of her friend was first, power development or History of Magic, then there was general History taught by a different teacher and then fire, then she had to teach water and healing, which was the use of light and divine magic, then ugh...Astrea entered her room and weote upon the board.

-Class: Water and Light/Divine Magic Use-

The mermaid brushed through her hair slightly before opening the blinds and windows, she fed the fish in the tank on her desk and sat waiting.

The demonic teacher wrote upon the board, power development and control, she wouldn't be teaching History of Magic till later on in the freshman lives, for now this vlass was mandatory for all students no matter what magic they possessed, much like science class. Everyone had to go. It would be her class straight after Terrances and the succubus mentally prepared herself for the students. "I swear to god if some kid loses their arm like last time I'm so screwed," the woman laughed to herself as Miss Blood wrote her name upon the board and moved the tables and chairs to the sides.

No sitting down for her students, her first class was show her what you've got, apply lesson and help then repeat.

"Good luck wolf boy," she laughed coldly before sitting upon her desk in the same regal position.

Stefan Hill Morin

The blaring of an alarm is what he heard first in the early morning, an annoyed look appearing before he slammed a closed fist onto the button to make it stop. He was feeling a bit groggy, and looked as if he was tired. Then again that is just simply how he normally looks, tired. Today was the first day at this new school of his, a place that he was looking forward to be heading to since it teaches magic. Which is something that he wishes to learn in order to find out how he's still here. Not alive or dead. If whether or not there is any possibility that the magic he chooses to learn can do this kind of thing to a person.

Stefan got himself ready for this new school that he would be attending, showering himself and eating breakfast. The attire he wore was his usual, a sand coloured coat with a black vest underneath and a white striped dress shirt underneath that. His hair was unkempt and long, and his eyes had bags underneath them. He arrived early at his school, earlier than what he had expected. The first period of the day would be science, if he remembered correctly. So, he decided to go over to where the class would be at. Spotting some flyers for a couple of clubs as he went, one of them havimg caught his interest and he decided to just take it for later. And he continued to walk towards where he thinks the class is.

(Open for interaction.)

Alyssa was completely lost and she had to be there first day or she'd be dropped from class. Why was this place so big and why didn't they have maps of the school?

After a bunch of questions and confusion, she finally found her class. "Hello." She greeted her teacher, and took a seat

She adjusted her sword case as more students filed into the room

Sammy excitedly pushed open one of the doors to the school. He let out a deep sigh of relief. The travel was over, he was here. The hallways were booming with the sound of many people. This was a little taxing on Samuel due to his increased sense of hearing. Now he knew why Beasts were never too public about their education, the noise! Nevertheless he needed to get to his first class. It was a science course with someone called Mr. Eben. The name sounded familiar to Sammy, as if he's heard it before. All distractions aside, he started a new voyage to Mr. Eben's classroom. After asking a few people for directions and getting lost once he found his destination. A couple people appeared to just leave and there was one boy standing next to the door. Sammy gave a nod to the boy before entering. As he entered the room his jaw almost hit the floor as he was meet by the site of Mr. Eben, another Beast. It took this to spark Sam's memory about that name. This was Terrance J. Eben. The wolf, the myth, the legend. Samuel basically grew up in his wake. In the Beast society he was a legend. Intelligent, athletic, and a voice that had a badass mix between Gordon Ramsay and an American, and he was Sammy's new teacher. "Uhh, umm. H-hi" was all he could mutter out.

The demon looked towards the girl that wandered in. "Morning, Alyssa is it? You specialise in Arcane and Runic no?" She questioned as the red hair of her human appearance ran down her shoulders. "Whilst my class is here to teach control and development of magic is mandatory for all, are you up to the test? And are you sure you have your classes correct?" She questioned intimidatingly as her eyes pierced the girls

"My name is Miss Blood," she smiled as the teacher waited for more students. "My class will not begin until there are students here, any more questions Alyssa?" Cecilia looked at the girl as she rose from the desk and waited for a reply.

"I believe most of your students are at the science class, that is mandatory, are your classes correct?" She asked inquisitively still confused as to why the human was here and not in the class for humans, unless she didn't need it then she'd happily tutor the girl for longer.

Aribella was excited for her first day CRMA. This school would be her home for the next four years and she was determined to do her best while here. Looking up at the building she bit her lip nervously hoping she'd make it to her first class without getting lost. Shaking off her doubts she walked into the school, head held high. she scanned the room numbers as she wandered the halls looking for Mr Eben's class. As the numbers got closer to where she was going, she spotted a boy standing outside a door down the hall. Are we not supposed to go in.. she wondered as drew closer and realized he was outside her class room. Stopping near him, she bit her lip again and peeked through the door seeing two beast people in the room. One was a fox and appeared to be younger, a student maybe. The other was a wolf and was in a suit at the front of the room. My teachers a wolf.. that's different, she thought as she watched the two wondering if it was okay to just go in or not.

Molly arrived on the campus grounds via a secondhand broom she had bought. Evidently, it was one of those things it was better to get new. She came in way too fast and crash-landed, bouncing twice before coming to a halt. Ugh. That's going to leave a bunch of bruises. She dusted herself off and made her way into Mr. Eben's class, hoping he wouldn't take too much offense at her lateness.

Terrance smiled as more and more entered his room. One student really stood out to him though, it was another beast. They appeared to be a small fox who was clearly in awe of seeing Terrance. He had a general idea why as well. The Eben family is well known throughout the Beast world. They are known as a very intelligent and very powerful family. He felt good that one of his students was a Beast. He waved the few that had shown up, including one of his favorite students, into the room as he would like to speak with this fox. "Hi. Nice to see another Beast in my roster" he said to the fox. A couple more students entered behind him and he moved the boy out of the doorway. While Terrance was waiting for a response he looked over his shoulder to the students in the room. "Choose your seats and sit down!" he instructed. He turned back to the fox with a smile.

Jacen watched as more students made their way into Eben's room. One of them was a rather short fox, quite literally! The rest seemed to be just humans. He rolled into the classroom and sent Eben a wave as he started talking to the fox. He found a seat towards the front of the room as Mr. Eben instructed and sat down. This aught to be interesting. A fox as a friend he thought as he waited for class to start.

Arabella smiled as the teacher waved them into the room. She followed the other students in and happily followed Mr Eben's instructions. Choosing a seat near the front she glanced around the room at the other students. I hope the other kids are nice, she thought as she remembered the bullies from her last school. It'll be different here, they don't know my background, she told herself, shaking her head lightly. With a smile she looked up at the board to wait for the class to begin.

Stanley wakes up on his bed and scratches his head as he gets up. Oh yeah, today's my first day of that magic school thing. He slowly looks at his alarm and sees what time it is. Yeah, I should probably get dressed. He puts his normal attire and loads his pistol with rubber ammo just in case. He goes to the kitchen to fix some breakfast. After eating, he goes goes out of the blacksmith shop and heads to CRMA. When he gets to CRMA, he walks through entrance hall very confused. Wait, what's my first class? Do I even know my teacher? Okay, don't panic while other people are around. Just go to the first class I see and ask the teacher for directions. It as simple as that. He walks until he finds a class with two people inside, a woman with red hair who Stanley is guessing is the teacher and another girl with a sword. "Um... I don't know if I'm interrupting your class or not, but I don't know where I'm supposed to go." Luckz Luckz Kylesar1 Kylesar1

"None. Thank you." Alyssa said. She gripped her sword. "I do specialize in Arcane and minor in Runic.I know this isn't the class for humans, but I was recommended for this class because I did so well in the high school version of Power Control." Alyssa stared the teacher down even though she was thoroughly intimidated. Her eyes showed determination with the intimidated little girl underneath.

"I'll do whatever it takes to pass this class."

Aermik walked through the halls, bottle of coca-cola in hand. He wore a warm black and grey over shirt, a white undershirt, a red silk tie, slacks, and a belt. He looked more like college professor than highschool teacher and that's exactly how he taught. Sure, maybe his laid back attitude got him into troubles on occasion, sure maybe having a coke on him at all times was terribly unhealthy and maybe he was an addicted, but all the same he was the schools first and foremost authority on divine magics. For all others it was a secondary domain, an afterthought that was typically learned after becoming proficient in their primary domain. For him though, for him he had grown up being raised on stories of angels and of the heavens, for him divine and light magic were his forte, it's why he got to teach two, potentially three classes on the subject.

He looked alert as he took a sip of his coke, walking through the halls of the academy and passed by a student with a few club flyers in his hand. He patted him on the back, "Looking to join a club? I recommend book club. It's been voted least likely to kill you or seriously injure you. Plus we offer free drinks. Both alcoholic and non. What year are ya?" He said looking down and taking a drink of coke. "Actually, you must be a first year right? I don't recognize you, so that's what I'm figuring. With any luck you'll have me for many years to come. You should seriously be heading to class right now too." He said half to himself. "But I think that Terrence won't mind me holding you for just a few moments.... Think that the book club might interest you?"

Miralynn Stromner

Her eyes eyes fixated forward as she awoke from her sleep. The teen shuffled herself into place, stretching herself out to begin her morning routine. It was the first day of class and she was more then prepared for it. Several books laid by her bed having been generally read through the night before in an attempt to overly prepare more broadly for her classes. When it came to academics or learning in general, Miralynn wasn't one for slacking. It was a trait she perhaps inherited from her brother.... for better or for worst.

She didn't take long taking a shower before applying a light layer of makeup upon her face, careful in its application despite not being too exagerative with its application. She tended to prefer wearing just enough to look nice among other aspects. She wasn't much the type to cake herself too much in such things. Mira wasn't the type to try and woo over guys by dolling herself up. After a quick breakfest she was swift to head out. She preferred to not be late wanting to put a good first impression.

Mira ventured through the halls, a plain expression left on her face. She glanced around quietly, observing her surroundings in particular the people around her. She often tended to keep to herself unless spoken to, always one to prefer to observe her surroundings. She much prefered others to approach her, it tended to after all expose more about them when someone decided to initiate contact. Her eyes paid attention to the classrooms she passed, attempting to find the classroom she was meant to go to.

Stanley blinks a couple of times after the girl with the sword mentioned that this class isn't for humans. I have nothing against other beings, but I don't think this is even the class I'm supposed to be in and it doesn't look like they're going to answer my question anytime soon. I guess I'll take my chances going with some other teacher and asking them. He walks away from the classroom and sighs a little bit.

Stanley sees another class and decides to try that one. He enters the classroom and sees that, what he assumes is the teacher, is a beast. "Um... could you help me? I think my first class is Runic but I'm not sure. Could you tell me where the the Runic teacher is." Raku Raku

Samuel stood in awe as Eben addressed him. Oh my God, I'm talking with practical Beast royalty! he thought excitedly. The wolf towered over Sammy. He hated that fact he was so short, it really bugged him. Sammy smiled. "Umm, yeah. It's good to see a Beast as my teacher. Guess I'm not alone here" he said with a nervous chuckle. He was gonna have to impress him!? Sammy thought it would be difficult to show Mr. Eben what he could do, but for now he was gonna focus on the class. Finding a seat next to the boy who was standing outside the door, he waited for class to begin. He turned to the boy and extended a hand. "Hi, I'm Samuel. My friends call me Sammy, or Foxy, depending on how close" he said with a toothy grin.

Meanwhile, Victor was searching the class he was to go to first. He was looking for a science course with a "Mr. Eben". Vic was sure that he was going to pronounce his name wrong. Emphasize the E, don't emphasize the E, what do I? He thought as he wandered the halls. While he was searching for the rooms, unaware of his surroundings, he ended up running into another student. She appeared to be looking for her class as well. "Oh, sorry. Wasn't looking where I was going" he said as his hand drew to his neck and he flashed a nervous smile.

Molly found a seat next to a girl with black hair and blue eyes. I have to admit, she is kind of cute. Hopefully, she can't read minds. The young necromancer extended her hand for a shake. "Hi there. I'm Molly, and you are?"

Aribella sees a girl headed towards th desk beside her and bites her lip. It's okay, you can do this, new friends are good. "Hello," She says turning towards the girl with a bright smile. "My names Aribella. It's nice to meet you Molly." She takes the offered hand in her own. "New schools are exciting, right? Have you got the chance to explore the campus?"

Terrance grinned as the fox boy spoke. He felt the same way. Terrance felt a little alone in the school, being the only Beast. He could see the nervousness in his eyes as he talked. Why is he so nervous? he thought as the boy found a seat next to Jacen. Another student had walked in, asking for the Runic class. He knew where the class was and who taught it. "Mr. Delacruz, 4 rooms down on the right side of the hall" he said as he pointed in the direction of Delacruz's room. He turned back to his class as he believed everyone was here. He'd give whoever was late a few more minutes.

Jacen flashed the fox, to be announced Samuel/Sammy/Foxy, and shook his furry hand. "I'm Jacen. Nice to meet ya" he said. He had always loved dogs, and a fox wasn't too different. He felt tempted to pet Sammy. Jacen was trying to resist but the urge was too strong. "Uhh, this is gonna sound weird but, would you mind if I pet you?" he asked quietly. He was trying not to sound disrespectful or weird but it's kinda hard when you want to pet someone.
