Humanity as spent 100 years traveling the stars. They also hadn't met another race untill recently. Around 10 years ago... So they been at war with the Zentari for around 10 years now. It started when a Zentari fleet decided to engage a human colony ship heading for what they tought was an untouched world... Unknown to them the Zentari showed up a few days before the colony ship got there. The Zentari are a race of (_____) who have long had extablished war throughout the cosmos winning star system after star system from other races. They had energy shields to stop energy weapons from destroying there ships letting them crush thousands of races... The problem is they left projectiles long behind and never fought a race that used them. Ubtill now... Durring the first battles they won almost every engagement untill they fought the first actual combat ship the USC dreadnought known as the revenge, the first Zentari ship was their capital ship KIN'ETER its shields designed to face energy weapons could do nothing against the Heavy rail gun rounds, the hulls of the rest of the fleet fallowed with desperate fighting on the planet below lasting several months before humans finally killed the last few Zentari who managed to land durring the battle. There humans gained 2 things that day. There first major victory of the war... And the ability to go into warp space with any accuracy. Now the Zentari are desperate to take on the humans and win after suffering a string of devastation losses. So they engaged them above a temperate planet on the front line deep in what used to be Zentari space. Thousands of capital ships and large ships of war clashed there. Zentari plasma weapons leaving ion trails in space and human missiles and kinetic weapons leaving bright flashes where they hit. Not to mention the hundreds of flashes from warp space breaches happening when reinforcements arrived for either side. But our main story takes place on the planet. Where the lone survivor of a troop transport crash meets the lone survivor of a Zentari attack transport.
So the story I have planned is a bit of a romance between two different species human and Zentari (you can pick what the aliens look like) and if this works out I may make it into a full blown group RP
