Biography
『Bellamy was born three years after his brother and quite a while later after his father and mother got married, his father still suffering from psychological trauma and low self esteem in the years before Bellamy was born, perhaps it was this reason that Bellamy himself mimics his father and is completely cynical about the world. In the first few years of his life Adam (Bellamys' father) was distant. Never being around long enough for the other to establish an attachment with him. In the eyes of Bellamy, at this point in his life, the only nice thing his father ever did was name him Bellamy - after Belle the woman he loved and adored the most. As a boy Bellamy often spent most of his waking hours and late nights in the village. It wasn't that Bellamy hated his parents which was why he spent his time in the village; it was because despite his house having four inhabitants, the perpetual loneliness Bellamy felt during his youth didn't allow for a house to be a home. Belle (his mother) on the other hand sent him out to explore initially, wanting to learn about the world as she did, wanting him to learn the value of a provincial life as she did when she was a girl. And so he did, leaped and jumped to explore many times in ways in which most parents would not allow their child to do so. It was through the joys of books and learning about new interesting characters did Bellamy learn about wit and only through exploring could Bellamy learn the value of being brave like his mother. In a sense, one could say that Bellamy had been gifted with his mothers virtues and had stolen his fathers vices.
Growing up into his teens Bellamy became a bit more experimental than before, finding himself doing things and in situations that though his mother had told him to explore, was far beyond what she imagined. Bellamy developed a taste for alcohol and cigarettes at the age of fifteen and though he wasn't took keen on the alcohol the cigarettes and occasional weed had him going for a while. It was at this point in his life where Bellamys father really tried to gain in touch with him a reconcile in order to amend and create a relationship but Bellamy in that sense was a lot like his father, ever so stubborn. It was when Bellamy turned sixteen he had realised that he needed to be away from it all, away from his childhood house and village in France which was when he began to see all the more apparent options he could do - one of them being WDU after his older brother Francois (Frankie) had done so. Maybe it was to spite the elder - still not quite over the fact that he had just gone and left, maybe it was because Bellamy wanted to develop his literary palette. After convincing his parents with them being surprised at his genuine interest in the place, they had reluctantly sent him off to the university and Bellamy was ready to make a new start and broaden his horizons. What he wasn't aware of was how he would sooner or later have to face Frankie.』
