Bio: 


Corbin was the second born into a noble family. Seeing as his brother was to be heir, his parents allowed him to pursue the ways of the sword. It was immediately notable that he was a prodigy with the blade and seeing his potential, his parents used their connections to get him the best teachers and trainers they could. This had led him to getting numerous tutors from both those of the Kavera and Estera clans, as well as notable magic users when they had found his aptitude towards certain sects of magic was comparable to his aptitude towards the blade. Eventually, after years of rigorous training, his parents had deemed him capable enough to accompany his brother as a personal guard as a way to ensure the two, who were close from the very beginning, would be together, as well as to give Corbin experience with the more political side of the family in the case of anything happening to his brother. It was through this very circumstance that, when Corbin heard of the death if Asaro due to his actions that he departed from his brother's side to find the cause of what had happened and nip it at the bud lest his family be the next victims of this supposed 'evil spirit'.


 


Personality:


Corbin is calm, collected, and overall fairly elegant in his actions and attitude, part due to his noble lineage and part to his training. His general interactions with people put forth the idea that he is a polite man befitting of his family, and that tends to be his goal when interacting with others on behalf of his family as to not disgrace them. However, it is to be noted that he has a vicious and cruel side that sometimes comes out when he fights, although it does bleed over to his normal attitude at times when his family is brought into the equation. The difference in attitude is so large at times that people who have seen him normally, and seen him when he is bloodthirsty argue that he is, in fact, insane and just hides masterfully for the well being and honor of his family.

Can Alma -


Corbin's katana, enchanted for multiple affects. The most prominent one is the edge, sharpened far beyond what one would could and would expect. It is also enchanted to "curse" anyone cut by it with a variety of different curses based on the amount of ambient magic in the sword. The most basic of them, as well as the one that is always active, is a "curse" that leeches minuscule magic from whomever it cuts and uses it to power the higher costing "curses" without Corbin having to use his own magic to do so. Due to the nature of the enchantment, the higher costing "curses" tend to vary from case to case based on a variety of different factors that Corbin has yet to figure out, yet the one trait that seems to be consistent is that they debilitate the person cut over an extended period of time, as if the "curse" was a poison in their system.


 


Can Alma's Sheath -


The sheath of the sword is enchanted to be more durable, as well as having illusions cast over it to make it harder for people to notice at a first glance, though this is far less effective if people known of it's existence or are expecting it. 


 


Armor -


Corbin's armor, enchanted to weigh less and be more durable in comparison to the material that it's made from. 


 


Throwing Knives - 


Though hardly used, Corbin has standard steel throwing knives hidden all over his person. 


 


Smoking Pipe -


A wooden smoking pipe that was used for Corbin's first successful enchantment attempt. The pipe will light itself given the slightest nudge of magic, but does nothing else beyond that.


 


Magic Usage:


Corbin uses primarily Wind, Shadow, and Darkness Magic, both in base elemental form as well as in conjunction with other classes of magic. He uses Wind and Darkness to supplement his Enchanting Magic, and he uses his Shadow Magic to supplement his Illusion Magic. In base form, he uses Wind magic to enhance cutting capabilities, increase the range of his swings, and sometimes even shove himself or others ever so slightly to put the battle in his favor. The Shadow magic is used mainly for subterfuge by doing things such as hiding his blade completely in his shadow to using it's inherit effects to bring misfortune upon someone. Darkness is used as poison, slowly gnawing away at foes, or as an overwhelming wave of oblivion to ensure the total obliteration of his enemies.
