Hey!


I am sorry if I missed something about the time on conversations, and why they are only limited to five minutes. Why not increase the time, or remove it?


I'm more curious than suggestive, to be honest.

That would be somthing to talk to an admin about dear. But even the admins are limited to conversation option. The people who host our form (xenforo or somthing.) Gave people limited control.


I would take it up with an admin or in the help form.

People use PM's for all kind of stuff. However, the problem with a PM is that the only peopel seeing it are you and the other person. So when the other person says 1 thing to you (i.e. Yes, it's ok to post pornography and sling racial slurs on the site) then waits for you to get into trouble for it, they could edit their conversation to something else, and you wont have any proof. With the restriction, you will.


This way, what a person sends in a conversation stays static (5 minutes grace for typos and the like). So basically, it helps protect you as the other person wont be able to change what they say if you choose to report.
