Realistic or Modern Coast To Coast RolePlay

The information Oscar obtained from the database was strange, it showed a vague military background for a man named Jack Rienmann and a license plate for a old GT, but he just knew in his gut it was his brother... So he hoped at least. Oscar decided to head downtown, even though LA was massive, it would be easy for him to spot a car that's not normally seen....

Jack took a seat in a booth towards the back of the restaurant, a young woman approached him , "What drink would you like?" She asked kindly in moderate Russians accent, "I'll have vodka and beer..." Jack answered with a low voice, "...with a makarov twist..." He added before the waitress left. The young woman's eyes darted to the door to the back and then back again, "Yes, I'll be right back with order" she said with a smile and briskly walked to the kitchen door. While Jack waited he looked around, there was a man at the bar along with a bartender holding a conversation amongst themselves, besides that the place was empty.

An older Russian man took a seat opposite of Jack and looked at him with curiosity. "Hmph, last time we met, our meeting didn't end well...so, what can I do for you this time hmm?" The man asked "I need a car, a fast car, faster than the GT" "And why should I help you?" " I am entering The Run, my GT isn't fast enough, I'll give you what you've been seeking from me and the GT" Jack said with a firm voice. The Russian sat silent for a couple minutes before he agreed " Deal, here, take these keys to facility number two at the docks, leave your car and take the one inside, it will suit your needs" with that Jack left and headed towards the docks.

After pulling up to the Second facility and parking the GT, Jack found the place empty inside after entering, except for a single covered up car. It was the only item within a five thousand square foot warehouse. He pulled off the cover and looked at it with awe, he had never seen this car, even though it was made by Toyota. Jack opened up the door and sat down in it, he popped open the hood and got out for a look. "God damn..." Was all he could say at the heavily modded engine. He opened the main door and drove in his GT and then pulled out a car jack. He slid the jack under the car and lifted it of the ground, everything was modded, engine, exhaust, chassis, brakes the works was put into the car, far exceeding what he had giving the Russian in return but he didn't argue. This was exactly what he needed to race with.... A brand new Supra.... <p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_02/2018-Toyota-Supra-front.jpg.227309a20b6879a9a72aadcd55876013.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="108052" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2016_02/2018-Toyota-Supra-front.jpg.227309a20b6879a9a72aadcd55876013.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Tyler arrived in L.A. early afternoon, since he had pushed the speed limits the entire way. He was lucky to have a radar, so he steered clear of all the police cars, and so didn't get chased. He yawned as he pulled up to a diner, which unknown to him was pretty much the best place to find a police officer if you wanted to. Luckily, his face wasn't known to anyone. His car wasn't even known. All that was known is "Mustang" drove a Shelby GT350, modded, blue with two black stripes. Otherwise, everyone would be guessing.

Tyler stepped inside the diner after locking his car, sliding his sunglasses up on top of his face, looking around. L.A. was busy for his tastes, but a good high jackpot for a race would lure him out of his tiny town any day. He sat down in a seat towards the back, yet with a good view, good defense, and good escape out the window if needed. He always was cautious when in public. There was no need to get arrested if one could escape.

Fricka looked at Leona's Dodge, and raised her eyebrow.

"Wow. You made all those modifications by yourself? I-I mean... not by your hand... -but... Wow, it's... really nice" She said, suprised that a car can be that heavily modified.

"Yeah. Figured that the Cars issued by the Department are too slow, so I took matters into my own hands." She looked at her Dodge. "I added the Off-Road capability just in case, but Street Racers don't really go off road because their cars aren't often designed to do that. Might as well get a Tesla though. Those things can go like a bat out of hell if you pedal to the metal." She commented.

Fricka just stared curiously at the car, then looked sadly at her police SUV

"Mine is not as good... but it'll have to do... it's not as speedy as yours, but it's really good in off-roading.." She said, looking back at Leone, smiling slightly.

Jack began driving to a racer location where he would be able to get more information on The Run as the start time grew closer each minute that passed. His new Supra purred as he drove a steady pace on the freeway back to downtown LA. Entering the city, Jack had been stopped by a red light as a silver Skyline GTr pulled up next to him...

The undercover GTr slowed to a halt as Oscar stopped at a red light next to a new car, some new designed he hadn't seen before. Looking over to the driver of the car he grew focused as he quickly looked down at the face on the recognition report then back up, making eye contact with the man in the driver's seat. The man's eyes were cold and angry as they looked down at Oscar's chest, it was his badge that hung off his neck. The light turned green and the man tore through the intersection like a missile. "Shit!" Oscar shouted and threw on his lights and sirens, pursuing after the speeder.

Oscar grabbed the radio mic and called in his report, "Dispatch! This is Overtaker 1-9, I'm in pursuit of a silver car headed north on Jackson Avenue, need immediate back up!"

Jack didn't even put the pedal to the floor yet as he flew through the streets at a hundred miles per hour, the silver GTr in close pursuit. The radio in the Supra came to life as the officer in the undercover car called for back up...

After he ate, Tyler headed out to his car. It was time to announce his presence. Announce it and then disappear until The Run. Less than a week away.

Tyler got in his mustang and started the engine, checking the location of all the police vehicles. Two were parked next to each other, so he went there. He pulled up in front of them, sat there behind his dark wind shield for a minute before revving his engine to get the two people's attention... Before doing donuts, throwing smoke from the pipes and tires, which blocked the view so he could slip off again.

The police radio announced a police chase moments after the mustang's smoke had dissipated. Tyler avoided North on Jackson Avenue, but he headed to a bridge to watch the chase. He enjoyed watching chases. It was even interesting if the racer was caught.

Kang was not really a Police Officer and she was going to use that to her advantage. While the Police had trouble dealing with Street Racers, the FBI didn't. "I'll see you in a bit." She bid farewell to the Police Officer she had just met before jumping into her Charger and speeding off along with it. Since she kept tabs on Police Radio, she decided to sneak with the element of surprise. At the speed she was going, Leona was on the highway in no time. "This is Agent Kang, joining the pursuit. Don't lose 'em!" Dodging cars and excessively changing lanes, it did take her a while to catch up to the chase. When she saw the GT-R going like a bat out of hell, she stepped on her accelerator. "I eat Imports for breakfast!" she shifted into a higher gear before flipping the on switch for her Nitrous Oxide, but with this many vehicles on the road, it was just too dangerous for her to use right now. Lastly she rolled down her window and got a Sub-Machine Uzi ready to fire. "Hope those windows are bullet proof." She pulled the triggered and opened fire on the GT-R. Due to the Wind Speed and the speed she was going, bullets were flying everywhere and she only left a few bullet holes on the rear bumper. "Dammit!" Afterwards, she did her best to try and get side by side with the Sports Car, looking to ram it off the road.

Andrew woke later and yawns. He gets out of bed and wanders around his apartment, not sure what to do. Then he gets a call. He picks it up but drops it at the distant sound of gunfire. He picked up the phone and answered it. "Hello?" but whoever was on the phone on the other end already hung up. "People have no patience," Andrew mutters.

Oscar heard a comply from an agent and kept on the unknown car. Moments later a black charger was next to him and the window rolled down, automatic fire came from inside the muscle car, "FUCK!" He shouted grabbing the radio once more, "Officer under fire! Officer under fire! I'm headed onto Highway 14 East bound need immediate support, vehicle is a black Dodge charger!" Oscar dropped his foot onto the gas pedal and screamed off, he threw his siren along with his lights on to avoid confusion from any back up.

Jack suddenly heard automatic gunfire as he drove onto Highway 14 Eastbound. "The hell? Looks like I got some back up out of knowhere...." He grinned and pushed a little more down on the accelerator...

Jessica was just on her way home, as she was just going for a drive in her Nissan Skyline. The chase ended up zooming passed her. It would seem that a Shelby Mustang was trying to get away from a GT-R and a Black Charger. Where was the fun in that? She figured that she may as well join in on the fun. Pulling out of her lane, she shifted into gear and just zoomed down like a bat out of hell, catching up with a Charger. The Driver ended up being familiar to her, but now was not the time to deal with past grudges. Seeing that the GT-R was in trouble and under threat from the Charger, Jessica reluctantly rammed her Skyline into the Charger. "Forgive me..." She sighed before deciding to play bumper cars with the Charger. After this day, the Skyline would probably not be drive-able for a while.

Before Leona could realize her mistake, where she attacked a Cop, she would be hit by the Skyline. "Oh no you didn't!" Before she could hit back, Jessica yanked the E-Brake before turning off the Highway, but the Charger soon followed.

Tyler sat on his car hood, literally gasping for air as he watched the scenes. This was too funny. Cops turning on Cops, racers helping each other out? Man, this was great!

He switched his vision back and forth to keep track of both chases, as he did not want to miss a thing. He called a few numbers, letting some other racers know of the great amusement going on.

He was only laughing because he wasn't the one getting shot at. After all, it's only fun to watch it, not participate.

Jack looked at the speedometer, "I know I'm pushing at least a hundred....is this thing broke? Seventy miles per hour?" He wondered as he pulled the E-brake, down shifted then up shifted, causing the Supra to poweroni around a corner. Jack saw the GTr still behind him as they headed towards the country side.

Farmland soon engulfed the two speeding cars as they headed away from the city. Jack felt the time was now and he pulled the E-brake and sliding the drivers side to the left side to give him cover when he got out. He down shifted to 1st gear and left the E-brake on so the car wouldn't move. He swiftly got out simultaneously grabbing the M4 from the back seat of the Supra and aquired his target but held his fire seeing as the GTr screeched to a halt...

Oscar couldn't help but wonder where this driver was taking him, which put him on edge. It was obvious they where headed far away from the city and after a while the speeder drifted to a halt. "What the...." Oscar said watching the man get out before realizing he had some serious firepower in his hands. Oscar slammed the brakes and came to a halt, opened the door, drew his Glock 17 and crouched behind his door.

The cars where only fifty meters apart from each other on the country back road. "AJ, I know that is you over there!" Oscar shouted "Why don't you talk to me for a while? Let's catch up a bit eh?" Oscar said, convinced this man was his missing brother. "OH! Just fucking catch up? So your back up can catch up?" AJ shouted back in reply "FUCK you Oscar!" Oscar wasn't surprised by AJ's response, "Look, I just want to help!" "HELP?! You never helped me! So let me help you instead, get back in that armoured UC and fuck off!" AJ bellowed "I cannot do that AJ! You know that, just put the weapon down, I can help, please let me AJ.....AJ?" Silence came from AJ's end. Oscar peaked around the car door and couldn't see his brother at the car, he twisted around and pointed his Glock outwards in case he had to fire.

Oscar crept low as he inched his way to the Supra when a loud bang whent off and pain engulfed his shoulder as he hit the pavement. "AAAHHHH!!!" "You will never be my family Oscar.....my real family died next to my side in the combat zones around the world, my family is gone, they are all dead.......you....you are not my family" AJ finished and spit at the ground next to the bleeding Oscar. AJ walked back to the car and drove off as fast as possible, disappearing into the horizon...

"Officer down.....need...assistance..at mile marker twenty three on Anderson....."

AJ stopped and turned around and drove back. He saw Oscar passing out from blood loss. AJ took his med kit out and immediately patched up Oscar, making g sure to stop the bleeding before setting him in the car. AJ drove and drove, the sun eventually began to fall as he fell into a flash back from his last deployment...

...-beeeep- "Hammer 1-1 This is Seeker 0-3" - " Seeker 0-3 Go ahead" - " Hammer 1-1, be advised, possible enemy contact reported half click North of your position, over" - copy that Seeker 0-3" - " Seeker 0-3 out"-

"Hey AJ! Don't forget about that twenty four pack after this" "Hahaha yeah sure, better have that hand grenade that you promised me for my birthday ya jackass" AJ replied...

AJ sat in the humvee's fifty Cal turret while his element pushed forwards, a Bradley LAV lead the way. Suddenly the LAV was hit by multiple RPG hits and destroyed, the rear vehicle was also taken out, "CONTACT RIGHT! TWO HUNDRED METERS! ENEMY IN THE OPEN!!" AJ heard this and swung his fifty to the right and let loose with the M2 fifty Cal, the enemy swarmed in even as AJ kept cutting them down with the heavy machine gun, they just kept coming. Even with his comrades also returning fire it was evident that the enemy wanted them alive. "CONTACT FROM BEHIND" there was no stopping them. As AJ ran out of ammo he felt multiple hands grabbing him from behind and he grabbed his pistol and shooting three of them before running out and then getting dragged out of his vehicle. A black bag went over his head and he was tied up then knocked out...

AJ gasped for air as he awoke to find his car parked inside a rundown garage. He frantically got out of his car and threw up in a corner of the medium sized garage. AJ found a couch and laid down and fell asleep once more...

Oscar found himself handcuffed to a metallic table with an IV in his arm, his shirt gone, a clean bandage over his shoulder and a mushroomed piece of metal in his hand, "Bastard actually shot me...." Oscar groaned as his shoulder sen pain all through his body.... "Guess I better rest up..." He though just before passing out again....

In a darker city block, the Skyline and Charger were facing each other. The revving engines rattled the windows and exhausts echoed down the streets. After a few seconds, going over 100 miles an hour, the two cars went for each other head-on. As the result of a head on collision, the Skyline's bumper fell off and the hood got crushed. So did the Charger. At this point, neither car was drive-able. Both women exited their cars. "Agent Kang...Long time no see..."

"Shin...Should have known it was you." Leona scoffed.

"Look, Kang, I'm not here to play games, but you really shouldn't reopen old wounds." Jessica cracked her neck.

"Why don't you just come quietly? Go easy on me for once." Leona got her Baton out.

"That's not happening." Jessica just got her fists up.

Soon both women charged at each other and Leona was disarmed, and now they were gonna be fighting hand-to-hand.

(And this is why i find this troubling... I wake up late, and i don't have time to answer... so... if you excuse me.. i might just opt out of this RP..)

Tyler switched on his GPS, only to have an error screen appear.

"No, no, no! You blasted piece of junk? Darn it!"

Tyler went to his phone for help, and soon found a number of a local coder. He hoped this coder could help him.

He waited for a pick up, or answering machine, and then stated his problem:

GPS malfunction of a modified code, probably just needs refreshed...

(@The Departure it's your time to shine)

(lol yay I guess)

Andrew missed the call since he was in the shower, but when he came out, fully dressed and ready for the day (whatever it may bring), he heard the message and decided to call the man back.

Ring... Ring... Ring...

Tyler read the number, then realized it was the coder, and answered it right before it went to voicemail. "Hello? I guess since you're calling me back you can help me with this blasted GPS?"

Tyler knew he needed to get it fixed as soon as possible, what with him needing to set up a course for The Run. They were doing a different route than usual, since the police had started setting up blocks at the end, instead of wasting their time simply chasing them.

Andrew nods, even though Tyler couldn't have seen the nod. "I can fix that," he said, although he hadn't had much experience with GPS'.. well, fixing them, anyways. He figured it wouldn't be much different than normal computer software, as it was bound to be, so he was confident enough to accept the job. "Would you prefer me going to you or you coming to here?" He'd probably want him to come over there, which was fine by him, but he always had a fear that he wouldn't be able to do something from there, which was kind of silly, since all he really needed was his laptop.

Oscar was awoken by more pain, he saw AJ standing next to him, who was once his brother, was now something else. AJ's face was like a statue with no emotion and his eyes were empty, like a void, as if he was only a machine. Many moments passed as the looked at each other. Finally AJ broke the silence, "Do you want to arrest me for what I had done?" Oscar remained quiet, he didn't know what to do, let alone what to say. "Or do you actually want to catch up?" Oscar sat up, his hand still handcuffed to the table, "Let's talk.....what uhh, what happened to you?" Oscar asked, hoping to find out what caused AJ to become who he is now. AJ walked towards a chair that was in the room and took his jacket off, he began taking his under shirt off as the horrendous scars on his back and arms began to show in the light "On my final tour...I..uhh...heh....we were...umm.. captured by Taliban fighters...." AJ began, not sure how to say what he wanted to say and turned around, his body was strong and AJ kept himself in great tone, he saw Oscar cringe ever so slightly at the mass amounts of scaring on AJ's body, he was certain that, besides his face, no part of AJ was untouched by scarring. AJ opened a duffle bag and put on a new shirt, this one was black. Oscar observed his brothers movements, he watched AJ pace back and forth in an anxious and paranoid way, AJ peaked through a set of blinds to look outside. "We...spent the next six months.....every day...over and OVER..." AJ said, his voice becoming shaken from his conscious recalling the memories, AJ fell back into his chair, his elbows on his thighs and both of his hands holding the sides of his head "They wouldn't stop.... Never...never....tortured us constantly...." AJ's breathing became heavy "AJ ... Please let me get some help, we can-" " NO! I WON'T, this cannot be fixed.... But I will help you, AJ took out the phone he found on Oscar and dialed 911 and placed it by Oscar and left taking his gear with him "AJ? AJ! Wait!" The sound of the Supra coming to life filled the air, the tire screening after wards....

Oscar got on the line with a 911 dispatcher and was able to get them to triangulate his position at the same time an APB went out to any units in the surrounding areas...
