The power to manipulate magnetic fields to achieve a wide range of effects. The primary application of his power is control over magnetism and the manipulation of ferrous and nonferrous metal.

Coal's weakness really just depends on the environment around him. If there is no metal for him to control, he can't do anything.
Personality: Coal is very cleaver for his age. He tends to become very sarcastic in all situations with careless attitude. But inside his mind he honestly thinks he is making the best out of the situation at hand, no matter what's going on around him. Coal can best be described as a fox like character. Slipping in and out of trouble, but most of all, he loves the attention. He will not stay quiet and will always place his best foot forward.... Even if his actions are the wrong ones.
Coal does not like change or outsiders. His friends are his family and he will protect them with his life. As loyal as he is to them, he will take the fall for them every time.
Bio: Coal grew up on the wrong side of the tracks of New York. Not given the best start in life, this young man has taken what he was given and has tried to turn it into the best life he could. His parents left when he was little, leaving him in foster care for most of his life. But this did not stop Coal from dreaming. If anything this encouraged him to do more. He acts like he doesn't care about school, but he's a straight A student. He hides it well with his ever active social life.
He grew up with his best friend Andy. Ever since they were kids, Andy and Coal have been inseparable. Before receiving their mutant powers the two could be found running away from the foster homes, trying to make it on their own. Once they discovered their new found powers the two grew up some. They realized that their history of crime and track records of running away, would not look good in the real world. They plan to clean up their acts, but without the right guidance they could easily fall back into their old ways.
