Title: Laughter in the Dark
Game: d&d 5e adventure on the Sword Coast
Player Count: 4 players
Description: Times are hard on the Sword Coast these days, with caravans being assaulted constantly, causing trade and commerce to grind to a crawl. Whispers of the remains of trade wagons unsettle even the hardiest commoner as fears of beasts, cannibals, or worse flood the smaller towns along the trade ways. With full blood moons rising nightly for the past month, a call for caravan guards to escort a shipment from Phandalin to Goldenfields is posted. Will you answer the call?
Character Creation: Core rulebook races/classes (PHB, XgtE, SCAG) with a modified heroic array (16, 15, 14, 12, 12, 10) for ability scores
House Rules/Game Style: Discord based game with most of my activity being daylight hours on EST, but no problem if not everyone is in sync with that.

I would like to throw my hat in for this. I have a few ideas for characters but I can make what the party is missing generally.

However I have no problem stepping back for people in less games

I have a hot-headed paladin that would be more than happy to guard some caravans in this troubling times. If people have a better-formed idea of their characters, I would have no issue with filling the party gaps.

Anyone have any idea on what they'd like to play?

Definitely a spellcaster, either a warlock or a wizard. I have a warlock that I had tried to play in CoS when I first joined CitM but it didn't go anywhere. He's a sweet old man that has become an accidental warlock. My other idea is for a dwarf abjuration wizard, mainly because I like playing races that are not optimal for the class. Also I like the idea of a dwarf using magic for protection.

I would like to play a barbarian, but one on the more cultured side. Something maybe weird, like a Zealot of some god of Knowledge who cures ignorance with the hammer, or perhaps play the warrior-poet archetype but with a barbarian, or a storm herald who is one hundred percent sure that he is a sorcerer
