Appearance description: "Why d'ya wanna know what da big bad, frost lord looks like? Lookin' fer a death-wish, 're ya? Well... who be I to deny ye. Da frost lord is a tall tosser, Ay've heard'em say he's about the size of a small tree but da truth is, he's a lumbering behemoth, a giant of a man (6'6"-- 198 cm), ye could say. Skin bitten by the chill that he commands, ya wee laddie. Eyes, a piercing blue when they don't be glowing that ghostly variety. Others tell the tale of golden locks, adorning his round head while da others say he has crimson colored hair, like de blood of da people he's slain. His most unique trait has gotta be those icy horns of his, wonder where he got them mounted on his helm. Oh, keep ya eyes peeled for red glowing bities on his armor. Personality: "The Frost Lord? Yea, I can tell you how the Frost Lord is, seen him and heard about him more than any other tavern tender this side of the world. So, the first thing we get out of the way is... He is incre-cre-e-dibly indifferent to most things around him, why you could be balancing a giant elephant with nothing but your feet and he'll give you the cold shoulder, it's like most things do not the surprise the bloke, almost as if he has an arctic heart. He is proud, really proud, maybe even arrogant but don't tell him I said that. Pretty polite guy although if a bit unapologetic about his acts. Has got a sweetheart for innocence though, don't know why -- One time, during a long winter, he popped into a nearby town, some thought he came to kill them but he actually sculpted a slide from ice for the kiddies. Ah, don't be fooled though, the man has murdered scores of men and women with his Ax alone, his kills with ice number in the hundreds. If you piss him off, he'll chase you down to the ends of this godforsaken mudball."

Backstory:
"Huddle, children, Huddle. Tonight, we will tell the tale of the cold one. The ruler of cold, the frost lord, the vanquisher of warmth. On the night of the first winter of the year, at the apex of a chilly storm, was he born. Born of human parents yet when his first cry reached the heavens, the cold storm subsided. No one, not the parents, not the doctor, not even the midwives that were present knew of the baby's unimaginable power. They christened the baby, Arfinnr after the father's grandfather. Arfinnr, oh Arfinnr, his mother always called the adventurous young boy, oh Arfinnr please, come home! Do not wander too deep into the forest. Yet Arfinnr, ever the boundary pusher, pressed on without a care to his mother's words. Fate abhors the weak and the arrogant, Arfinnr was all of that in spades. One day, a large band of roaming bandits encountered Arfinnr in the woods yet he had not encountered their cunningly concealed trickery. They followed him back home, him unaware. Then they sacked his home, viciously eviscerated his parents, robbed them of all they were worth. Then taunted the feeble boy, their faces and voices burned into his mind..."

"That... bastard..." The shivering man quaked, his eyes stared into the infinite as if he was returned into the moment of his twilight."His cold... eyes... Those eyes... hated us... but... his anger chilled us to the bone. I can still see his silhouette..." The man paused, trying to find the strength to continue."His silhouette... a giant with a giant ax... We didn't know any better... It was supposed to be a normal day for us, like any other." He covered his mouth and tears began to swell."Ever since he came, I've been trying to... trying to desperately... repent for my sins... Every life I've ruined with my hands... I have tried to repent, I DON'T WANNA SEE HIM AGAIN." He cried out with unimaginable agony in his voice.

"And so the boy's anger festered in his immortal soul, he swore vengeance upon the evildoers who wronged him. For every day and every night, he would devote his body and soul to the culling of those murderers. And when the time came, he descended upon them with righteous fury. He shredded and rent their bodies with his ax, chilled their wounds so they would live longer in agony. Tormented them with various constructs of ice, some he buried in snow in the boiling summer. It all happened so fast yet it seemed as though Arfinnr was simply going through the motions like an actor that has rehearsed his role. The bandits wails were for naught as no force on the planet could save them from this monster. They attempted in vain to attack the frost lord yet their pitiable attacks merely bounced off his armor or were expertly parried by him. Once Arfinnr was satisfied with his work, he disappeared with his departure leaving only a cold wind in his place."

Patron God: Aurgelmir aka Ymir The First Frost Giant.

Fighting Style: Calm and cool, a guardian-like stance mixed with some offensive capability.

Magic: Like his Patron, Arfinnr commands the very chill of death. Ice constructs, snow, cold emission, frost rays, and cold resistance. An impressive display of ice based abilities but Arfinnr has one more ability that stands out amongst the other cryomancers... The cow... but not just any cow, a cow that has descended from the mighty Audhumla, the primordial cow who fed his patron. Although, the daughter of Audhumla isn't as fantastical as her mother, she still boasts incredible feats of strength, speed, endurance and others. Arfinnr can summon the daughter of Audhumla whenever he wants, provided she has not been wounded by many physical blows.

Equipment: Hoar Frost, an Ax that was made by a skilled blacksmith long ago -- Arfinnr has imbued it with glacial properties, creating a row of ice spikes when slammed down; Garm -- Arfinnr's armor, Arfinnr actually claimed this armor in a bet against a drunkard in the forest, a normal armor albeit unconsciously decorated by Arfinnr's icy powers.

Skills: Ax-wielding, horse riding, sculpting, and he is literate.

Ultimate Ability: Colder Than Fimbulwinter -- Arfinnr absorbs all of the moisture in the surrounding area, from the air, plants, animals, the people closest to him then for the fraction of a second, cold snaps the surrounding area to absolute zero. 35 feet (10 meter) radius around him. How long the area remains cold is heavily dependent on how much moisture he has absorbed. He is encased in a block of Ice after he releases the cold.

Appearance Description
Often described by others as young and handsome; he has lustre, silky, silver hair and moonlight eyes. His brown skin glows like the fierce light of the sun, enthralling those around him with his divine radiance. While not the bulkiest man alive, Ziya has a flawless, lean build that is muscular and well defined.

His face is adorned with intricate jewellery—a head chain made of a purified metal, and bedecked with a carved onyx. Ziya dons little clothing to cover his torso. A single golden pauldron guards his left shoulder, while a stylized scarf is coiled around his neck and part of his arms, ending at the two serpent heads, each beside either of his elbows. There are two golden braces on both his arms as well as rings on his fingers. He wears a white sirwal that is partly covered, with a piece of ornate black satin.

Additionally, he has an ink-black, marking etched into his flesh, which is visible below his left eye. It is a symbol of his allegiance.

❷ Personality
At first impression, Ziya comes across as cold and conceited—but this couldn't be further from the truth. He is quiet by nature, speaking only when and where needed, though he is well-mannered. More often than not, he ruminates about the past, present and future, but his dream of reaching the promised paradise is timeless. In spite of his trust being something difficult to earn, those who obtain it quickly learn that he possesses a profoundly loyal heart.

Arguably his most admirable characteristic is how he is seemingly untaintable by negative emotions, such as hatred and jealousy. Neither proud nor arrogant, he is a man whose sole purpose is to serve his masters and to not shame them, even until his dying breath. Yet, little do mortals know, that in fact, Ziya's greatest weapon is his "will".

On the battlefield, Ziya remains poised and unwavering. A chilling mask of indifference latches itself onto his visage, and the fate of each of his targets is sealed. When the slaughter begins, he is without regret; without remorse; and without mercy. As a conduit to Shiva's wrath, he will stop at nothing to close the final curtain on his enemies.


❸ Biography
In a bygone lifetime, Ziya lived the malefactor life of a thief. Even as a child, his proficiency and skills were renowned amongst felons, and he was titled "Serpent" for his guile and cunning. Numerous reprobates would hire him for his service, and he would abide by their request without objection. However, though adroit in his art, Ziya found his line of work loathsome, which slowly led to the development of an interminable sense of self-hatred. His sole saving grace, preventing him from descending into madness, is that unlike the other scum of the criminal underworld, Ziya wasn't acting on selfishness or avarice. His purpose was to provide for his younger siblings—a solemn promise he'd made to his mother on her deathbed.

Albeit, there is no excuse for an evildoer; it was on one of his ventures that karma struck. On this particularly perilous undertaking, Ziya had been deceived by his own client. After the item of interest - a platinum diadem, embellished with sapphire gemstones - had been retrieved, an ambush had been waiting for him. Ziya had been stabbed in the back, metaphorically and literally. Nevertheless, even as a dozen swords impaled him from behind, Ziya did not feel a sliver of animus towards those who betrayed him. On the contrary, he was grateful and saw his unfortunate demise as penance for living a life of crime.

Upon his rebirth, Ziya was raised amongst the ranks of the Mezari Order—an ancient organization dedicated to preserving the balance between life and death, without showing preference to either. He was the son of Zaakia, the Eye of Night, and part of the triumvirate. Since his mother held such a significant position in the order, the burden of expectation weighed heavy on Ziya's shoulders.

From a very young age, Ziya trained hard as a neophyte. Since it was his mother's role in leading the assassins of the order, it was inevitable that Ziya would be cultivated into a killer. Many hours of his life was spent training, with an emphasis on honing speed, agility, precision and finesse over brute strength. To few's surprise, Ziya was special, a prodigy, he soaked up knowledge like a sponge, advancing at a much faster rate than his fellow neophytes. It became clear to all that he would follow his parents’ path.

At the age of fourteen, while bathing at the pools, Ziya experienced a vision. The destroyer god, Lord Shiva, appeared before the newly appointed acolyte in the form of a preternaturally sized snake, with dripping fangs the length of a man. In this apparition, Lord Shiva revealed his true identity and bestowed his elected servant with a gift—a dual bladed glaive imbued with immense magical power. Once the weapon was in Ziya's possession, the gargantuan snake slithered away, melting into the darkness, and Ziya awoke. Still, in disbelief, Ziya reached out his hand and manifested the weapon given to him by his patron god.

It was real?!

Now, as Lord Shiva's chosen agent, Ziya uses his power to instil equilibrium, and to vanquish all corruption.

Magic Abilities
[Sands of Fate]
Ziya chooses a target to mark. Against the marked target, Ziya deals bonus damage and has protection penetration. Only a single target can be marked at any given time.

[Sand Serpents]
Ziya summons sand serpents to aid his assault. Sand serpents deal missing health damage (the lower the health of the target the more damage they do). Additionally, some spells automatically activates Sand Serpents: Kasana and Wrathful Serpent.

[Kasana]
Ziya summons a sand serpent at the target's location. The sand serpent constricts around the target, trapping them before diving down to devour the victim and inflicting damage.

[Sand Warp]
Like a sand wraith, Ziya rapidly blinks a short distance to a nearby location. For the transient instant he vanishes, Ziya is invulnerable.

[Sand Gate]
Using his dual glaive, Ziya rends the fabric of space, creating an impermanent portal between two points. The amount of mana consumed is proportional to the distance between the two tears in space.

[Vinaash ka Kavach]
For a few seconds, Ziya wraps his body in a destructive aura that protects him from incoming damage, or lasts until time expires. The aura will only neutralize the damage of the first attack or spell that hits it and then dissipate.

[Wrathful Serpent]
Ziya transforms himself into a sand serpent and then quickly dashes forward, passing through and dealing damage to all enemies hit.

[Fury of the Sands]
Ziya enters a trance-like state and becomes a force of destruction. A small sandstorm surrounds him, dealing continuous ticks of damage to those within a radius. While this spell is active, Ziya gains movement speed, attack speed, and attack power.

[Ultimate: Mahāpralaya]
Ziya unleashes his true power, as he glares, his eyes emit a deadly golden glow. All those in a cone in front of him take a massive burst of damage. Any targets caught in the range of the attack, whose health is below a threshold are executed, their bodies are reduced to nothing but sand and dust, as they wither from existence.

[Assassin Training]
Being the son of the Eye of Night, Ziya is well versed in a multitude of killing techniques and martial arts. In addition, he has trained in the art of stealth and espionage.

[Traceur]
In order to effectively complete missions, Ziya has learned how to traverse sundry terrain, deftly, unseen, unheard, and with flair.

[Sixth Sense]
Though not fully mastered, and only under extreme concentration, Ziya can attempt to let his body move on its own—acting on instinct.

Ziya's dual bladed glaive and a gift from Lord Shiva. It was forged and imbued with powerful magic, giving destructive properties to Ziya's own magical abilities and letting him command sand serpents.

Fundamentally, Bunrei wrestles barehanded, but of course, she will also make use of a weapon from her Goddess if needed. Burei boasts in showing a successful display of applying a headlock onto any kind of monster or deity once she puts her mind to it, but because the propagation of Lucha libre is centered around aerial techniques, she is currently sealing the locking techniques that are the quintessence of Lucha and is currently unmatched when it comes to the art. This is aided by her immense strength and durability despite entirely forgoing armor, her sheer magical resistance also plays a part in confrontations against all but the most powerful spells often failing to achieve any result. Her final skill is her Divine Core of the Goddess is a unique gift that allows both her mind and body to preserved completely, nullifying mental interference and preventing the body from aging or changing.

Her body is engulfed in flames and she takes to the air, turning to release all of this in a concentrated strike from high above similar to a meteor impacting the earth, made all the more dangerous by the inclusion of an aerial grapple or taking the opponent up with her beforehand.

Magic:
  • Liminal magic: A magic inherited from her patron goddess Hecate. Allowing Illumi to phase and see through obstacles, and freely going back and forth between the world of living and the underworld without much risk. Boundary, border, barrier, they're nothing for her, but for some reason she can't not see through her eyelids.
  • Shadow magic: Manipulate and solidify shadow. Classic. She can also store things inside her shadow equal to the mass of her real body.
  • Necromancy: Illumi's necromancy is less about rising zombies and more about commanding ghosts. She wanders around the world seeking ghost so she can either send them to the underworld or enslave sign a contract with them. Gotta catch 'em all!

Equipment:
  • Necrobiome: A three-pronged magical staff that able to quicken or slow down the speed of entropy of a target. Yeah, she used it on herself.
  • Black Chapter: A magical black robe. The ultimate clothes that can clean itself, regulate inside temperature to be the most comfortable and can even billows without any wind!
  • Nyx's mask: A magical sleeping mask made from Nyx's tableclothes that absorb nearby light and exert ultimate darkness. Perfect for sleeping!
