Below is the barebones areas for the character sheet. Anything marked with an asterisk (*) is optional, but the more detailed the sheet the better. Each field has a brief explanation. Please remove explanations when posting your sheet.

Name: Include first and last name, middle initial is optional.
Nickname*: If your character goes by something other than their first name, include this field.
Age: Somewhere between 21-30, preferably.
Personality: This doesn't have to be very in-depth, just a general idea of how your character acts.
Appearance: A realistic-ish picture or detailed description.
Position: What is your characters occupation? Flight crew, security, environmental scientist? Get creative. (Flight crew members are sort of the 'leaders' of the mission. I will play the Captain, other flight crew members are available, but are under higher scrutiny. Message me if you want more details.
Rank*: For flight crew members and security personnel, provide their ranking. Message me if you have any questions on what an acceptable rank would be.
Equipment: Provide any equipment your character might have. For example, flight crew members all have handguns, security personnel typically carry various weapons, a biologist might carry a handheld scanner. Get creative, this is the future! If you have an idea for a piece of equipment but you're not sure if it's something I'd approve of, message me! I'll probably be pretty accommodating.

John Scott Kramer

Ship Captain​

• Full Name: John Scott Kramer
  
  Nickname: Responds to all three of his names. Typically, people who don't know him call him any version of John, Kramer, Captain, or Captain Kramer. Those who know him better sometimes call him Scott. In high-tensity environments most people just call him Kramer or Captain.
  
  Age: John is approaching 33 and is the oldest person on the ship by a small margin, he was one of the very first natively born on Eden.
  
  
  Personality

  John, like many people, has a very distinct serious and casual side. When casual, John is usually described as warm and friendly, not allowing anyone to feel left out. He tends to poke fun at those he knows better, making light hearted jokes at the expense of either someone he knows can handle it or himself. He'll drink with just about anyone, but you'll never see him totally drunk. He leads socially just as well as he leads occupationally.
  When stuff's going down, though, John is very focused. He calls things as they are and doesn't hesitate. He can hold his temper very well under stress and almost seems calm and collected (albeit serious) in almost any tense situation. If he tells someone to do something, he doesn't just think they can do it, he knows they can. He knows there are people who can do certain things better than him, and he's not scared to admit it, but when shit's hitting the fan, he expects people to listen to him.
  
  
  
  Appearance

  John is one of the taller Children of Eden, standing at 6'3" with dark brown hair and eyes. He's muscular, as many flight crew members have to be to pass training, but he's not incredibly toned. His hair about an inch and a half long on top, with the sides being a bit shorter, and looks slightly unkempt. He has a short, stubbly beard all around his jaw and connecting to a mustache, giving off an older appearance.
• John was one of the first Children of Eden born. His biological father was from Earth, but he died long before John was ever conceived. He was conceived in vitro (outside of a human body), but the fertilized egg cell was then placed into his biological mother, Anna. From a young age, John showed a strong ability to lead people, high mental fortitude, and an ability to do anything he put his mind to. Very early on in his life, the Education Board saw John's abilities and put him in a special program to bring out these traits as much as they could. As soon as he was old enough, he was put into Flight School, where they taught the Children of Eden the ways of managing a space-faring ship across a long journey. The flights he was being trained for, however, were supposed to be intrastellar (within the solar system), to other planets orbiting Eden's sun, to colonize them and then fly colonists and tourists between the planets.
  
  John's entire life, from the age of 6 to when the Homecoming mission was announced, had been about being the best Ship Captain he could be. Things changed when a greater purpose showed. His mother practically begged him to go, saying it was what he was meant to do. John had never been a believer in fate. His mother hadn't either, until he was born. It didn't take much convincing whatsoever for the Flight Committee to convince John to be the Captain of the Homecoming ship. As soon as he agreed, he was put into preparation for interstellar travel, consisting of weeks of strenuous activity, cryosleep simulation, and stress tests. After a few weeks, the testing was complete, and John was ready to take the Homecoming ship to the Childrens' ancestral home world.

• Unlocked Energy Pistol

  Like all other members of the flight crew, John is equipped with an unlocked energy pistol - unlocked meaning its power setting can be adjusted, unlike most energy pistols which are locked at a low power setting for personal protection. John's pistol, like all other energy pistols, will only fire when he is the one pulling the trigger - a mechanism perfected a long time ago on the distant planet his father called home. By default, the energy pistol is set to a low power setting, which delivers a jolt enough to take someone to the ground, but not much more. The more medial settings can injure someone and render them unconscious, as well as cause severe burning and in rare cases, death. A high energy shot from an energy pistol can rip through large amounts of flesh, and can very easily kill a person.
  
  
  
  Handgun

  Energy pistols can be counteracted, though, so all Captains carry an old-style Handgun, chambered in .45 ACP. So far, no Captain has ever had to use their service Handgun, especially against his crew or passengers. These are extremely dangerous to use on the ship, as these rounds can compromise the structural integrity of the ship's external layer, causing a decompression.
  
  
  
  Neural Implant

  Although the technology reached a standstill early in development, some people still got Neural Implants when they were infants. They aren't as functional as scientists would have hoped at this point, but they are helpful for people like Ship Captains. John's implant allows him to monitor ship systems such as trajectory, speed, nearby celestial bodies, fuel, energy levels, warning systems, and other things. It also allows him to monitor and communicate with crew members while they are wearing their exploration suits (suits provided by the ship that allow crew members to leave the ship into potentially hazardous environments with minimal risk), which automatically monitors vitals and comes outfitted with transmission devices. There are various other uses of the implant, but other than those two it is a fairly unimpactful device.
  
  
  
  Miscellaneous items

  John has various other miscellaneous items. He always has a medical kit on him, though it is fairly basic and not as extensive as something someone from medical might have. He also has a handheld scanner that fits onto his duty belt, which can scan materials and give information about them (it can display in a hologram form or transmit the information directly to John's implant). He often carries with him an old Earthling coin in mint condition, though the reason is unclear. He has various other items that he typically does not keep with him at all times, many of which are in his quarters.

Sofiya Domnikova Juarez

  Personality: Curious, optimistic, organized
  Languages spoken: English, Spanish, Russian, some Hebrew.
  Appearance: Short, curly black hair. Brown eyes. Tanned skin.
• ]One of the oldest children of Eden, Sofiya has the somewhat dubious honor of being the first test tube baby born on the planet. One of her mothers, Olivia Juarez, is a genetic engineer who has dedicated herself to ensuring that terrestrial species would be able to thrive on Eden without destroying the native ecosystem. The other, Domnika Lobacheva, was a folklorist who enchanted Sofiya with stories of the planet they had left behind. Her mothers instilled her with a deep respect for her home on Eden and her ancestral home on Earth.
  
  As she grew older, Sofiya left home to attend Eden’s only university. At twenty-eight, she became an E.R. doctor. Optimistic and forward-thinking, she considers herself a citizen of Eden. Nonetheless, she has always been curious about what happened to the world that her parents left behind. When the Homecoming mission put out the call for medical officers, she was one of the first to sign up.
  
  In addition to her mothers, she has two younger siblings, Tamara and Ananii, who have remained behind on Eden.

  Personality: Robert is a pretty laid out guy. he likes to stay in his bunk just reading some magazines whilst listening to his vintage iPod. He has a lot of songs stored inside that helps him ling on to his old memories of his parents and siblings. If he is not in his deck, then he is stuck at engineering, tinkering with the various devices, always calibrating them to achieve maximum performance at limited strain and fuel efficiency.

  Among the oldest of the Children of Eden, Robert was born in vitro. His mother's eggs were stored in cryo whilst his Dad was very alive and kicking. After his dad debated on who was to be his 'birth mother' he settled on a mechanic in the Fleet, Agnes King, and thus became his nickname. Despite having been given stern warnings from his dad about seeing her, he could not just ignore his mother so to speak. So when he was 8, he used to venture into the engineering deck to see her. He always had a thing for mechanical structures and whenever he was in the engineering deck, he felt a calm and tingly sensation. Everything just made sense.
  
  After a few years, he applied to the local university for engineering and he aced the course with flying colors. His dad was disappointed at first since he did not follow his footsteps in the leadership department, he was proud of the achievement. After graduation, his dad gave him his mother's iPod with all of her favorite songs. He has never let go of that device since.
  
  After being posted to the Homecoming mission as the Chief engineer, he was elated beyond words. He had read about the state of the art engines and he did not hesitate to apply. He always wanted to travel back to earth to see what artists describe earth as a place called "Home"
