Charlotte Jacobsen is one of the most creative people you will ever meet. She spends a lot of time on activities such as recipe creation, writing her own songs, and designing new wine flavors. However, because of her history, she is prone to feeling inadequate about these talents. She gets very self-conscious, takes criticism horribly, and usually dislikes to show anyone her music or art in fear of these things. When it comes to social interaction, Charlotte is entirely selfless and generous. She will gladly offer her spare bedroom to people who don't have a place to stay, foster an animal that doesn't have a home, etc. She likes to live life day-to-day, always hoping for something new.
History:
Charlotte grew up on a farm in northwest Missouri where she raised cattle and grew a bountiful garden with her father. This is where her passion for animals began. Her mother died in childbirth, leaving her father to raise her alone. He wanted a son, but never got one. So instead, he taught Charlotte things like changing the oil and basic mechanic fixes of their vehicles, milking, building fence, and many other difficult farm chores.
As a young child, she would run around barefoot, exploring the 100 acres of land her father owned. However, when Charlotte was 8, her father remarried to a dragon of a woman. Her stepmother abused Charlotte, both physically and mentally almost everyday from that point forward. She has scars from these events and often had to hide bruises when she went to school. Charlotte's father refused to acknowledge the abuse and thus ultimately betrayed Charlotte beyond repair.
All through her four years of high school, Charlotte worked as a waitress in order to save up enough money to leave her hometown when she graduated. She formed a bond with most of her regulars, who noticed her broken smile. Charlotte confided her story with a few customers, and they always seemed to tip far above 20% when they came in. The night after Charlotte graduated, she quietly packed all of her things into her old pick-up truck and left without saying goodbye to her father or stepmother.
