Makoto has been proclaimed a beauty by many of both genders, rightly so considering his hermaphroditic features. His soft complexion with kind slightly purple eyes, his chiseled yet smooth jawline, his enticing warm smile only adding to his ambiguousness. He sports a lean, tall, delicate, ectomorphic body type, which is not weak or unfit by any means but the opposite. His only visible scar is a small scar going across his eyebrow from a close encounter, he has no other scars and he's proud of it as scars are a show of someone who never learned to dodge in his mind.

Personality: On the outside, Makoto looks like a very calm, recollected person. Most people assume this behavior due to wisdom but in reality, Makoto is an extremely slothful person, his patient, carefully planned steps are calculated in a way so he has to enact the least amount of effort as humanly possible. He believes that he should live a life as quiet as possible without any disturbances will make him happy. Unfortunately, due to his heritage, he cannot live that way. Luckily he is what you call a lazy genius, while other people spend their intellect on ambitious ideas and plans for dominance Makoto realizes the extreme peaceful feeling when doing nothing is the best he could wish for.
Likes: Relaxing by doing nothing at all, A good cup of flavored tea, the exotic cranberry being his favorite and his secret hobby being gardening, where he grows his own fruits and herbs for his tea.
Dislikes: Unnecessarily rowdy people, being mistaken for a lady, redundant effort.
Fears: He fears that he will die in a way that he won't agree with instead of a peaceful calm death, a fear that makes push on, his second biggest fear being inadequate.
Mannerisms: He walks very patiently, with a calculated step not doing anything to spend extra effort, with a grace only attributed to geishas. He also acts like a genuinely good person as people he has been nice to have a less chance of being annoying.
Backstory: Makoto is the youngest brother of the late shogun, meaning he is an uncle to the new shogun. As the youngest member of the royal family at the time, he wasn't expected to ever be on the throne so he spent most of his life in the library or training in the art of air magic, maybe to sometime in the future become a great general. At the age 16 when he was about to join the air corps, instead of deciding on one of the divisions that would've allowed him to become a general he chose the peculiar special division, specialized in espionage and assassination and occasional demon removal.
Makoto did this on purpose planning to live a peaceful life away from the public eye, doing a little bit of espionage every once an in while, a decision he soon questioned as his mother gave him a hug crying and catching his older brothers talk about preparing a funeral. Apparently, due to his lazy nature, he didn't perform enough research on the special division and underestimated their tasks. In such a way so that his first mission was to take out an entire revolutionary cell which recently took over a fort by himself. Most people at this point would just give up and go home, but not Makoto. He would persevere on through the mission resulting in his ambition to live a peaceful life only to burn even harder through his heart.
One month later he came back with the heads of all of the revolutionaries carried in a potato bag, this is also where he got his iconic scar across his eyebrow. He carried his life like this through the secret division until recently he became the head of it, meaning that he didn't have to do any more dangerous missions to risk his life and he could just send other unfortunate sods to their end... Or at least he thought until he was called back to the capital hearing that his oldest brother, the shogun, has died and his youngest son has taken the throne which leads to his current position.
Relationships: As previously stated he is the uncle of the current Shogun, other than most of his family or friends have either died in dangerous missions or just from old age.
Powers/Abilities: He, as any respected member of the royal family, is a masterful air user being able to use subconsciously to guard himself against a threat if necessary. But unlike his brothers, he has the most basic knowledge of fire and water magic since he never found the use of mastering storm release. However, he has developed a technique where he covers his hands in fire and water, one of each respectively, resulting in making a literal tornado by quickly funneling air around him in a circular manner.
Skills/talents: Due to his experience he is a shrewd spy and mastermind, and from his education, as a prince of the kingdom he has a vast array of diplomatic techniques only accentuated by his demeanor and intellect, and it certainly does help being able to bewitch both genders.
Items: His sword is a custom made sword, he doesn't actually use it but its hilt has a compartment where he stores tea leaves.
