HAIR: Short, brown, and straight. Often kept shorter on the sides than on top, and the top is pushed up in a slightly messy fashion. Occasionally he uses gel to make it stay, but for the most part it is messy on its own so he doesn't have to do much in order to style it the way he likes.
EYES: A grayish-blue color that would look pretty cool if they weren't so dull all the time. Casey is usually seen aloofly gazing into the distance and thinking too hard about things. He often houses dark bags underneath his eyes due to lack of sleep.
OTHER: Several scars of unknown origin on his arms, upper thighs, and lower back. He wants to get a cymbal monkey tattoo on the back of his left wrist.

IDEALISTIC: Casey likes to focus on how the world should be rather than how it actually is. This leads to him having extremely high expectations for himself and the people around him, causing him to be easily let down if something doesn't go how he imagined it to. Casey has a bad habit of putting people up on a pedestal, which makes others extremely uncomfortable and eventually pushes them away.
SENSITIVE: Always one to take things to heart, Casey is easily offended and hurt by the things people around him do and say. He takes insults very seriously, and often thinks about them for days after it's been said. He tries to have thick skin, but when he thinks that people only have the best intentions in mind, it's difficult for him to pretend like he doesn't care what people say.
INTROVERTED: Shy, quiet, and awkward are all words that accurately describe how Casey is in public. Perhaps this stems from him being an only child and refusing to speak to other children at school during his adolescence. Even so, it takes Casey a very long time to warm up to people, however, he will talk but he is just extremely awkward about it.
DEPRESSED: To say Casey is lonely would be a severe understatement. As an overall friendly guy, it depresses him that he can't seem to hold on to a friend for very long. He spends his days alone when he'd much rather spend them cuddled up with someone. His repetitive routine is perhaps the most depressing thing about his life, and he wishes that he could change things up a little bit.
ABSENT-MINDED: Casey is easily distracted by just about everything. Not that he has ADD or anything, his mind just hops from topic to topic with little to no relation between two different subject. It's very easy for him to get lost in his thoughts and accidentally miss what people were saying to him.

CREATIVE: After spending so much time in his own head, it’d be impossible for Casey not to have developed some type of creativity. He likes to dream and dream big, and usually comes up with a creative, unorthodox solution to his problems.
INTELLIGENT: Casey has been at the top of his class for as long as he can remember. His never quenched thirst for knowledge has led him to accumulate an amazing amount of information that he easily can recall. However, it is important to note that Casey is only book smart and is very dull socially.
SELFLESS: The giver who keeps on giving, Casey always puts others ahead of himself and tries to make everyone as happy as possible. He often values other people’s opinions above his own, and wants them to know that he’d support them in the things they do.
FORGIVING: Despite being extremely sensitive, Casey has never been one to hold a grudge. He always believes that people have the best intentions and forgives people immediately after they’ve wronged him. To him, it doesn’t matter whether they deserve it or not, because everyone needs a little relief sometimes.

Casey has blended into the background his whole life, with no actual desire to move to the forefront of life. His parents were consistently busy, leaving Casey home alone for what added up to be nearly three-fourths of a year. This was fine with him really, but it lead him to develop an unhealthy aversion towards other people. When he wanted to actually have friends, he didn't have the skills necessary to talk to people and convince them to stay in his life. He was awkward and he was clingy, and people just didn't like that. So he was doomed to bask in the loneliness that was his life, and pretend like it didn't bother. He thrust himself into his school work, figuring that if he had so much free time, he might as well do something important with it. This turned Casey into the intelligent man he is today, and is the reason he is fairly well off without exactly having the best people skills.
Casey's adulthood has been even more depressing than the years building up to it. Without school, Casey feels lost. Since this is his first year out of university, he is completely unsure what to do with all the free time that's been handed to him. Normally, in bouts of depression, Casey would thrust himself into his school work and emerge feeling accomplished. Now instead of schoolwork, Casey has the occasional work project that only takes 2 hours maximum to complete. He spends many of his days in his suffocatingly small apartment, watching the walls close in on him before it will eventually choke him to death. This is the main reason Casey decided to go to the charity event, he was certain that if he spent another second in his apartment, it was going to kill him.
