Fantasy Carlisle Academy of Magical Arts Plot

Here's the basic plot so far, I'm open to changes if you have any better ideas or ideas for future plots. If you do, PM me and I will try to write it in:

• Characters each go to a meeting with the headmaster where he discusses why they’re being put in the support group
• They go to the room where the group is and see the other characters, it’s kind of awkward
• The teacher, Mrs Warwick, walks in and starts being condescending and rude
• She leaves and the characters talk to each other
• They go back to their houses
• The next day they have to come into catch-up classes in the morning before class, which annoys them all for different reasons
• Mrs Warwick tries to teach them about why it’s important to work hard, but does it very condescendingly, they talk back and she sets their first group assignment to trim the gardens instead of going to class to teach them how to work hard
• They do it and hijinks ensue
• They take all day because there is a lot of land, but when they go back into the main building, they get pulled into the headmaster’s office because none of them came to class
• Mrs Warwick hadn’t told any of their teachers where they would be, then when she was called in, she lied and said she sent them back to class.
• The headmaster believes her and they’re all given detention for skipping class
• The next day, they come into the support group and Mrs Warwick acts like nothing happened, she doesn’t answer any of their questions
• They all go to their separate classes and get ignored because the teachers now think they’re delinquents so don’t deserve their time, an idea that was started by Mrs Warwick
• They meet up again at lunch and wonder what to do
• They walk to the class they have together and get the same treatment, however, there are missions being assigned where people have to form groups and kill a manticore because they are wandering into town and hurting the locals
• They form a group and want to take the mission, but their teacher says they now have to get permission from Mrs Warwick
• She says no, but it would increase their grade by 20% and they all really want to raise their grades so they can get out of the support class
• They try to go over her head by asking the headmaster, but he takes her word for it that they aren’t ready and just want to use it as an excuse to skip class
• They decide to go anyway and kill the manticore
• One of them is hurt so they go to a local hospital, but Mrs Warwick finds out and shows up
• She berates them, then tells them to meet her at the school, they bring the manticore head with them to prove they could do it, but she got there first and told the staff that she protected them from the manticore because they couldn’t defeat it and everyone believed her since she told them about what delinquents the MCs were
• They’re given detention for two weeks and have to clean the lunchroom every day as punishment for putting themselves in danger
