.•*PLOTLINE*•.
When people died in the real world, they would suddenly find themselves arriving in seemingly endless white space. Everywhere around them is white and nothing else. What was even more shocking was the fact that they had a completely healthy and living body. Whatever kind of illness or disability they had previously, in this white space, they were all gone. Their body is in top condition. In front of their very eyes, a holographic screen greeted their arrival.

[Welcome to the Card World]

You have died in the real world.
But you have been given a second chance to come back to life.
There are 28 out of 54 trials that you have to clear if you want your previous life to come back.
What you will experience inside these trials might be traumatizing, depressing, frustrating, and lead you to possible insanity and real death. You might even think dying now is better than going through all these trials.

However, you have been given a chance.
Accept the challenge, clear the trials, and come back to life,
or die right here and now

Do you dare to continue?
[Yes/No]

This is the starting point of their journey as Players that would challenge the trials of the card world, dreaming of the day they would complete every one of them and resuming the life that has unexpectedly stopped for them at one point. The white space is a space that is separated from the real world and the card world. It is an asylum for players after the exhausting and possibly traumatizing days in the card world.

The White Space is where everything started, where things revolved, and where it all ended...

.•*LAYOUT*•.
As the name suggests, The White Space is a completely white space that is seemingly endless. Of course, it's not without boundaries. But when players first arrived at this space, it was empty and enormous. It was impossible to know how far stretch out. At this point in time, the players haven't been bound to the card world yet. They were only given a choice here. Thus, people who die will be sent to different White Spaces that are empty and devoid of anything else except themselves and the holographic screen in front of them. Only after they decided to accept the challenge would they be bound to the card world and get sent straight into the first trial together with other players that have also accepted. While they were there, the White Space would change.

Every time players completed a trial, they would be sent back to the White Space before the next trial begins. But rather than going to different White Spaces like when they first arrived, after the first trial, The White Space would become one huge white hall functioning as a hub where every player gathered. In this space, there would be room assigned to each player, complete with furniture and a separate bathroom. The room's layout could be adjusted however the owner wanted them. All they need to do is think of it and everything they wanted would appear or happen in this room (limited to the room only). This is limited only to their own room. Other than that, whatever changes they made into the room layout or whatever items, furniture, or decorations they add into the room, everything would only have one color: white, hence why it's called The White Space. Other than that, players couldn't bring anything to the card world (trial world) from the White Space other than the Tool Card or Ability Card they had.

Outside of the player's room, there is a central hall that has a huge holographic screen right in the middle of it. This holographic screen displayed the players' current progress and the card worlds they could access.

Important Notes: Every time Players manage to complete a trial, no matter how badly injured or close to death they were after that trial, their whole body would be restored back to the top condition as soon as they are back to The White Space. Any severed limbs would be reattached and any poisons or illnesses caught in the trial world would be cured. As long as they still had their last breath when the trial is completed, it would be considered the same as them clearing the trial and they would be back to perfect condition after that. This would ensure the players are in top condition when they challenge the next trial.

.•*PLOTLINE*•.
In normal times, Spade City is the same as any other modern city. It has skyscrapers, cars, subways, apartments, shopping district. Anything a city should have, Spade City also has it. But after the unfortunate accident, the bustling and technologically-advanced city had turned into a desolate city with many ruined buildings and broken roads. Ominous fogs shrouded the whole city at all times, limiting the visibility and adding an eerie and dreadful atmosphere to the already desolate city. Every once in a while, the sound of creaking and wailing could be heard from the zombies that wander around, hungrily waiting for prey.

It was said that one day, a family of three has made their way to the Central Hospital from the slum. The only child of this family was diagnosed with a very weird disease. The boy claimed to always feel hungry and thirsty despite the many foods and drinks his parents have given him. Other than that, the boy had a temper issue and likes to bite everyone who got near him. His whole eyes slowly dyed red over time and everyone he bit would always end up feeling sick. But because everything happened in the slum, none of it got properly reported. The boy slowly gets weirder and scarier. Out of desperation to save their only child, the parents did everything they could to bring the boy to the Central Hospital to be treated.

However, by the time they realized the severity of the situation, it was already too late. The people the boy had bitten had slowly turned into zombies. Starting from the slum, the zombie virus spread into every corner of the city. The doctors and scientist did their very best to invent a serum that could cure the infected people. But just after the serum was finally completed, no one was left alive anymore. The whole population had turned into a zombie. And the serum was left hidden somewhere in the facility.

Spade City has a rather simple layout with clear boundaries and separate regions. It is a city located in the middle of the ocean, making it very secluded from the outside world. There are three regions in total; outer region, inner region, and central region. The outer region is also divided into two areas; The Slum and The Residential Area. The residential areas, as the name suggests, were places where common folk resided in. There was nothing special there other than apartment buildings and houses. On the other hand, the slum was slightly different.

Despite being called the slum, it's actually used to be a normal residential area in the past. An accident happened that rendered the whole land and air around this area severely polluted which make many who lived in this area move to a different place. The government sealed this area to prevent the pollution to spread to different areas of the city. Over time, it has become a desolate area where only people who had no money to move out were crazy enough to stay. After the zombie outbreak, the slum area has the weakest and the least amount of zombies.

The inner region also consisted of residential areas. But this place is reserved for rich and influential people only. The areas were more organized and high-end. After the zombie virus outbreak happened, the inner and central regions were quick to isolate themselves from the outer region. Thus, the only way to access the inner region after the outbreak is by going through the First Gate located in the northwest section of the outer region. Similarly, to gain access to the central region, people had to go through the Second Gate in the northeast and southwest sections of the inner region.

The central region is the heart of the city. Entertainment areas, shopping districts, business areas, government offices, every important building were here. Most importantly, The Central Hospital is located in the central region, right next to the biggest mall and the opera where the people frequently come and go.

After the accident, the slum is an area that's mostly off-limit for human beings, an abandoned area with polluted air and land. Only those who had no place on other sides of the city would choose to stay in this poisonous land. As such, despite the big size, the number of people living here is very low. They also tend to be severely malnutrition, weak, and very prone to sickness. There are also criminals or thugs living in this place. But it's among the minority.

The Slum could roughly be separated into three areas, the east area, the south area, and the southeast or center area. The east area is closer to the northeast/north residential area. As such, the south area is closer to the west/northwest residential district. (Pay attention to the Spade City map). Players would start out their journey in Two of Spade in the Slum Area.

Characters' spawn points:
• The South Area: Ayre Nox ( ShenYu ShenYu ), Paradise Matthew Axo ( dance of the corvids dance of the corvids )
• The Center Area: Cordelia Irinca ( ParadoxiiNight ParadoxiiNight ), Giselle Tsuda ( Sei Shonagon Sei Shonagon )
• The Southeast Area: Alwin Nox ( ShenYu ShenYu ), Micah Brayer ( Klown Klown )

Note: Although they spawned in the same areas, it doesn't mean they arrived at the exact same place. It just means they are nearby each other. For those in the center area of the slum, you can choose to either join the south or the southeast area.
