BIO: Cadence was born and raised in a very impoverished area where, from a young age, she displayed impressive intelligent, strength and a sharp survival instinct, which served her well in the dangerous, gang ridden areas she called her playground as a child. It didn't hurt that she had a protector in the form of her big brother, Adrian, who was seventeen years her senior.
Cade has always been determined to make her life better than what it is, working hard in school and skipping not one but two grades while she was at it. Meanwhile, at home, her mother made a living stealing spell codes and selling them on the black market, her father ran a betting pool for the gladiator fights and her brother was forced to fight in the ring. When she was ten her brother, once called Adrian the Unbeatable, was killed during a match. Ever since she has harbored a deep hatred towards the fights.
When she was sixteen she received a full scholarship to Nova Tech, one of the most prestigious universities and tech companies in the country. The institution specializes in computer sciences, programming, web design and development and, of course, spell coding. Cade lives in a dorm on campus where she provides a home to seven cats, even though pets are not prohibited on campus. She does hacking jobs to earn a little extra money and hasn't spoken to her parents since she started attending Nova Tech. She blames them partly for her brother's death.
PERSONALITY: Cade is mild and well mannered and very quiet. She tends to become anxious quite easily. All of this leads people to believe that she is a pushover but if you look into her eyes you'll see her strength and stubbornness clear as day. She is very intelligent, which she tends to get cocky about, one of her greatest weaknesses. Despite this she is caring and kind. She is determined and works hard to achieve her goals. Cade prefers to avoid people, preferring quiet nights spent with her cats.
- TYPE OF SPELL CODE USED: Umbrakinesis and invisibility
- Invisibility (Rank S): Can hide herself from sight. When she uses this spell she is totally hidden from sight. This is her strongest spell and one she uses often.
- Shadow teleportation (Rank A): She is able to melt into already existing shadows and appear out of another somewhere else. What happens is she essentially enters into another dimension when she does this. However it is very dangerous to stay in for too long which could lead to the casters death or the complete cancellation of the spell which will reset with the caster ending up right where they started. This prevents her from using the shadow dimension to hide in or conceal herself.
- Umbrakinetic combat (Rank B): When standing in a shadow she gains enhanced strength and she is able to use shadows to temporarily blind an opponent, although this only lasts for 60 seconds. Shadow infusion allows her to infuse a weapon of her choice with shadows, although this act tends to exhaust her. She is currently working on generating a shadow armour which exhausts her too much at the moment.
- Dimensional storage (Rank B): Using a dimensional pocket she can store items too big or heavy to carry around. She is only able to store two medium size items or one large item at a time.
- Shadow detachment (Rank C): For spying purposes she is working on detaching her shadow. It is still a work in progress. At the currrent time she is only able to detach her shadow for ten seconds and can't sustain into independently outside the room her body is in.
