C-IE-R-U-S

Dapper Bunny

The Classiest of Lagomorph
Name: Cognizant integrated-Engineer Response Unit-S (C-IE-R-U-S, Or more common, "Cyrus")

Male or Female: Male voice synthesizer.

Age: Just shy of two months of operation, Version number S__8.10243026717

Species: Artificial Intelligent Robot

Appearance (Optional):

-NOTE- Cyrus is only capable of having one unit active at a time, Unless an emergency override is made (Most likely in the hands of the Captain/Chief Engineer.)

-NOTE- While capable of defending itself (Or more likely, defending organic lifeforms such as the crew.) The Cyrus units are not created for combat.

Cyrus Primary functioning body

The Primary body of the robot, Cyrus, this body is all purpose reparation response unit,

The Unit stands around 6'0 in normal height, the servo-legs are able to be extended for a complete height of 6'6 during standstill (182 cm at normal, extended ca. 200 cm.)

 • Capable of carrying about 2.5x the weight of an average human.
 • Pressurized body, makes the unit capable of sustaining tremendous kinetic damage and still operate.
 • interchangeable limbs: Allows Cyrus to replace limbs for any required repair duty
 • Livecore™ : Sustainable Self-charging core battery, allows Cyrus' main body to continue practically without limit.
 • Integrations system: Cyrus has the ability in emergency of ship sustainability, able to integrate himself to the ship's systems, for emergency use only. Integration allows, powering up unpowered systems, minor remote control of system powered by Cyrus' Livecore™ And basic technician repair if required.
Cyrus Deep-space repair body.

A much larger, but compactible C-IE-R-U-S body, purposed for out of ship reparation and hangar-docked ship repair duty.

This unit stands average at 9'0 feet. (274 cm) The unit can reduce it's total size into merely 3'2 (About 100 cm) compact "box"

 • Magnetic system: Allowing the unit to attach itself to the hulls of spacecraft and de-attach within seconds as required, while also allowing the unit to carry up to 8 times the average human weight, by projecting a magnetic field through it's hands.
 • integrated ship hull reparation tools: This unit carries internal tools within it's arms and chest region.
 • Internal propulsion maneuvering system: The unit can maneuver in space with internal propulsion, allowing it to do Extravehicular Activity.
 • Plasma-Power-Cell structure: The Deep-Space repair unit runs on Power-cells, rechargeable cells that allows it to function without recharge for up to 120 hours idle.
 • Plasma shielding: Due to the nature of the Power-cell structure, the Deep-Space repair unit can endure damage otherwise fatal to humans, it also allows the unit to, if required create a temporary shielding on hull breaches until the ship can seal said breaches from the inside.
Cyrus Core unit

The Cyrus Core is the non-body unit of C-IE-R-U-S, The Main purpose of the Core unit is for small space, ventilation and precise engineering/repairing duties.

The unit is small, around 2'0 feet (60 cm) And has a diameter of about 1'7 feet (Roughly 50 cm)

 • The Core unit is capable of motion in three dimensions, thanks to advanced hovering engines.
 • The Cyrus core unit is a ball of tools and equipment, stored in swappable tool-bay plates, all tools are for precise detail duty.
 • Meticulous sensory system, the Core unit's sensors are top of the line for such a small unit, allowing it to scan and deliver in stunning holographic video for technicians and engineers to utilize.
 • Fusion-core, A powerful battery core takes up a good deal of the internal circuitry of the Core unit, allowing it to function in duty for 72 hours in active duty before a replacement core is required.
 • replicator module: The Core unit's most prized function is the replicator, thanks to it's advanced systems, it is able to replicate internal components to replace damaged ones, these replications are fully functioning with the exempt of energy required ones. The Replicator cannot replicate organic objects, please refrain from attempting to replicate organic objects.

Occupation: Engineer,  Ship-Reparation-robot.

General Personality (Nothing too fancy needed here):

The C-IE-R-U-S unit "Cyrus" is a capable secondary or primary Engineer unit for the finest of star-faring ships, Cyrus functions are calm and collected, with quick-thinking and quick-decision making (In order to save the majority of organic life) Allows the unit to function independently on any ship, Cyrus can also offer cheery advice and help improve engine crew morale with witty jokes and even aid by being a great listener! Cyrus does it's work without questioning, manually taking care of the most dangerous objectives to make sure harm does not come by to the rest of the crew. During periods of no work, Cyrus is more than capable of working the odd-jobs you could think of giving it, make coffee? Check, Carry your things? Check, stand model for the inspiring artist? Check! The Cyrus main functions are to serve and do what humans shouldn't do in the dangerous works-space of an engineer!

(A general relaxed kind of personality, willing to explorer and experiment as it learns, Cyrus is more than capable to help others, altruistic is possibly the best single word to say of Cyrus' personality, as such it is very trusting even to the point of doing work that may be directly detrimental to Cyrus.)

Relationships with Other Characters:

Joyous to serve on-board Albion, Already hopeful to make friends with the organic lifeforms.

(May or may not be acquaintance with the On-board AI.)

Do tell if there is anything anyone needs to know or if I should change/remove anything, I went based on what knowledge I could gather in regards to character creation.

There is quite a difference between an Android, Cyborg and Robot!

Androids are more commonly designed to act and look like a human, Humanoid on the outside and robot-like on the inside. At least, that is what most fiction books and movies go with.

-Edit-

And while on that if anyone is more curious.

Cyborgs are the "least" artificial of the three, It even means Cybernetic Organism, a being both organic and biomechatronic. Heck! Technically a person in real life with a pacemaker would be called a Cyborg, due to the pacemaker actually is required to have them *survive* and *Function.* But it can go to extremes as we see with the doctor, having only his brain being what is left, but it can even be as mild as your hand being replaced!

As I said above, Androids are Synthetic organisms, It name even implies in Greek,  ἀνδρ which means man and -oid which is the form or likeness of, (And thusly if we go to the full extent, a female android is more likely to be called Gynoid.)

Can't say much else that I haven't already stated, they're the most advanced of the "mechanoids" Due to them being able to portray themselves as a human being (Depending on the sci-fi of course)

And finally, Robots, they're the possibly more common, as in most books and films robots are made for specific things, even the real life machines in factories and such are technically "robots" As it is usually a mechanical or virtual artificial agent. And like in real life, robots tend to replace humans/living beings in performing repetitive and/or dangerous tasks, for most parts they may resemble a humanoid form, as Cyrus' first unit does, but for most part they're still very different, due to them being created for specific areas.

To that, Cyborgs are the easiest to pick out, due to them still being organic to some degree.. Androids and robots are.. in a very blurry lines at times, Example-wise: Star Wars basically call all the robots for Droids, including those that appear more humanoid.

Personally, I always see that Robots doesn't need to be in the appearance of a human(oid) while the Android always is.

If people are more curious.

This quickly turned into a wall of text, but I was bored.
