Creature Classes:

1. Titanic || Half as big as the Crimson Canines mother base. Instantly kills all players not in mechas, and also instantly destroys mechas most of the time. Have the capacity to destroy entire bases in just twenty minutes.

The standard 25 ft. mechas cannot kill titans from the outside. They're like lady-bugs in the palm of a titan. The only successful killing of a titan was done by the Hurricane Squad. They entered a titanic sky whale and blew it up from the inside So far, only three titanic class creatures have been recorded. The four sea serpents code-named, "Leviathan", the one dead and one alive titanic sky-whales code-named "Monstro", and a skeletal reptile that burrows whose actual name is "Excidium". All these titans can communicate telepathically and are in league with the androids. Mechs cannot detect titanic creatures without a form of bio scanner installed in the chassis.

2. Colossal || As tall as sky scrapers, they're like the 'Kaiju' from the movie 'Pacific Rim'. Instantly kills all players not in mechas.

3. Gargantuan || As tall as dinosaurs. Instantly kills all players not in mechas. For gargantuan and colossal monsters, only attacks to the eye from bombs, sniper rifles, light machine guns, piercing assault rifles or sub-machine guns, or a point-blank shotgun, can make these creatures flinch.

4. Huge || Elephants, or twenty to thirty-foot high giants taller than two-storey houses.

5. Large || Bears

6. Medium || Humans

7. Small || Cats. Mechs cannot detect small to tiny creatures, except for "Flayers", unless they have a form of bio scanner installed in the chassis.

8. Tiny || Mice

Creed of Dvseli

"Protect us from fear, O fearless one,
We are your children back upon this sacred Earth, Accept us into your embrace.
We will face your every trial And fight under your banner, but give us back this holy place.
Give us wrath, O wrathful one To strengthen us in this war, We have yearned so long for home.
Give us the wisdom we need So we may deliver your message And reveal the secrets of your tome.
Deliver us from sin, O sinless one, Forgive us for the deaths we commit And the way we pain your beasts.
For when we have paid our price in blood, Victory will be ours again,
We will rise again as your priests."

The Androids

robot_cyborg_mechanism_girl_67010_1920x1080.jpg

Neutral Androids
Harmless robots who only wish to live peacefully and apart from humans. Their small colonies are hidden, accessible only through technology they possess. Their leader is Liam.

Hostile Androids
These robots have allied themselves with The Brotherhood and weaponized their mechanical bodies. They are led by an android named, Marcus.

Main Secret Agenda: Protect the earth by eliminating the threat of pollution and war between humans. They are afraid that the humans will destroy the earth a second time, and so they strive to destroy the human race. Currently, they are working together with The Brotherhood who are out to unify mankind by subtly dominating the other factions until only one remains. One that is under their power.

Crimson Canines

The soldiers of the U.S. exploration team, Crimson Canines, are some of the toughest fighting men and women to be found among humankind.

  • General (Gen.)
  • Lieutenant General (LtGen.)
  • Major General (MajGen.)
  • Brigadier General (BGen.)
  • Colonel (Col.)
  • Major (Maj.)
  • Sergeant Major (SgtMaj.)
  • Master Sergeant (MSgt.)
  • Corporal (Cpl.)
  • Private First Class (PFC)
  • Private

Promotion || These ranks are earned in main missions held in the main role-playing tab. For NPCs, the higher the rank, the tougher or cleverer they are.

Demotion || Failing a mission, getting a comrade killed, disobeying a direct order from a higher ranking officer, and flaunting disrespect are one of the things that can get you demoted.

*Though a character may have a higher rank than others, they cannot tell players what to do if they don't want to do it.

Morale || Morale of troops rests heavily on officers. Abandoning your comrades, causing unnecessary deaths, cowardly acts, or behaving without warrior pride can decimate the fighting spirit of soldiers, likewise, getting everyone back alive, accomplishing a mission cleanly and efficiently boosts your reputation and your troops loyalty.

  • Professions

Military Professions:

These are some examples of the various roles characters can fill in the Crimson Canine's exploration team.

Combat Unit Ring:

Soldiers are separated into two main branches: The Security division and the Combat Division. Security personnel stay within mother base, guarding her walls, manning the sentry towers and defensive turrets. Combat personnel are deployed on field missions, their job is the most dangerous and it's not uncommon to lose a highly skilled soldier.

These are examples of the various combat classes:

  • Assault || Rapid attacks. The versatile, all-purpose infantry.
  • Covert Operations || Infiltration, sabotage, and surgical strikes.
  • Heavy Gunner || High-threat point defense and suppressive fire. Anti-infantry. Includes pyros.
  • Demolitions || Explosive solutions.Trained to take down mechs without being inside one themselves.
  • Sniper || Scouting and assassinating high-value targets. They are often deployed on suicide missions alone. Suicide missions have little to no chances of getting back alive.

Miscellaneous Technology

Mankind doesn't have the following:

1. Colonies on other Planets:

All of mankind has been living in five great mother ships for two million years, each belonging to one of the five factions. These massive mother ships have a population limit of about one million, and are self-sustaining.

There is no other planet in the universe that can sustain human life.

2. Other settlements on Earth:

So far, there are only nine inhabited areas. Five of these are the military bases of the five different exploration squads, the four are their civilian outposts some minutes away from their own base. There are two mother ships that made an emergency landing on earth and these are the U.S. faction's Imperial, and the Brittannia faction's Legacy.

Motherships are the home ships of the factions. There are only five in existence. They hold more than five million people each (a big difference compared the military bases --- also called motherbases --- of the exploration teams that only hold 10,000) and is where mankind has been living for the past two million years. After the Peace Summit battle at the start of the war, The U.S. Imperial only has three surviving cities inside: Seifer, Dalmasca, and Cerobi. While Brittannia's Legacy has five, but it's not currently verified which cities they are.

The civilian outposts are well defended and hold about five-hundred ordinary people and are currently closed to the other factions. Getting in will require some stealth and connections from the inside.

There are rumors, though, that all the military forces of the five factions have secretly begun building other hidden bases in different strategic locations all over the world. There is also talk that some people have secretly left the mother ships and landed on Earth to make their own homes, something that all their governments had forbade them to do.

3. Satellites:

No GPS, large-scale weather predictions, satellite communications, global internet, etc. The space around Earth is covered in floating debris, some gigantic, some pivoting around the earth at great speeds. Japan and Russia whose motherships are still in space are currently warring for space supremacy.

Instead of sattelites, C.S.A.s or Communications Signal Amplifiers that act like radio towers are set up in different locations across territories. These are heavy portable machines that are about as tall as a man and weigh two hundred kilograms. It is illegal for a faction to set up communications in another faction's territory without due consent.

Security

Security || The colony ships of the exploration teams from the five different factions are the cornerstones for rebuilding civilization. There is only one colony ship for each faction, losing one, such as what happened to Japan, will delay a nation's progress to such an extent that they're effectively out of the power struggle.

Like a baby among adults, they'll be forced to depend on others for security. Because of this, security in the mother base of all five factions is tight.

  • Tier IV - Tier III + Only The Boss and his closest officers knows it exists, legendary guard.
  • Tier III - Tier II + Gait Recognition (How an officer walks, talks, all subtle body gestures), elite guard.
  • Tier II - Tier I + Biometrics Authorization (finger print, speech, and eye-ball recognition), multiple combination locks.
  • Tier I - Main Gate, I.D., passcodes, surveillance cameras with facial recognition, common guard.

Changing Equipment

Gear Kiosk || Players step into this machine to change their chimaeras, suits, and bombs on the fly. Gear Kiosks are found all over the Crimson Canines base.

Combat Suits

tumblr_md2u24VJmf1r3kmkso1_1280.jpg

Tactical Combat Suit

The default military grade combat suit is a flexible full-body armor made of light durable material that offers only meager protection unless upgraded.

PARTS:

  • Data Storage Device - Before every mission starts, a squad is given the details of their assignment a day before. These details are uploaded into the suit's data storage device and include the objectives, creatures the squad can expect to encounter, a digital map of the mission area, and other miscellaneous information. Most of the time this information is incomplete or not up to date, so soldiers still need to be vigilant.

Cables and Ports - Military suits have built in ports that allow wearers to link their suits to terminals and access networks without a keyboard. They can also link to other suits that don't have security locks, or plug in flashdrives and other storage devices to browse their files.

[*]H.U.D. - The "Heads Up Display" function of your suit's helmet. It works like Ironman's HUD, or the HUD of a first-person shooter game where you can see the your character's vital signs, access the mini-map, or see through the cameras of your allies. And just to be clear, no, your suit doesn't have an A.I.

  • Interactive Navigation System - This is the mini-map of the mission area. Allies in suits appear as small green arrows while those in mechs appear as larger blue dots. You can only see your allies in the mini-map. Enemies and creatures do not show up unless you have some sort of bio scanner in your suit or MOLLE
  • Vital Signs - Shows your character's pulse, blood pressure, breathing rate, and the suit's oxygen levels. Combat Medics always link up with all of their team's vital signs. It allows them to wirelessly monitor everyone and administer medical treatment to those who need it the most.
  • Camera - Everyone's helmet comes with a video camera that is usually turned on when out on the field. If you are within range, you can see what your ally is seeing and hearing through a little screen in your HUD that can be maximized. Videos of the mission are usually collected after every assignment by the team's mission leader and submitted to the Command Center together with the leader's Mission Report.
  • Add-ons - Gear such as binoculars, thermals, and NVGs are added onto your helmet so that with a verbal command or a press of a button, they'll activate immediately. Thermals and NVGs are not installed into suits by default and must be listed in the MOLLE or as a property of your suit.

[*]Breathing Ports - Allows the wearer to breathe underwater and survive outside of the motherbase or the civilian outpost. The air of the world is still slightly toxic to humans and prolonged exposure will cause sickness and eventually death. These breathing ports can be shut to make the wearer immune to sleeping gas and other airborne weapons, but will only have one minute before their oxygen level drops to zero and suffocate.

[*]Communications Device - Allows you to communicate with your allies within a one mile radius. If there is a C.S.A. device within the mission area, players will be able to communicate with the Support Sector of Motherbase. The "Operators" in the Support Sector are the ones who receive calls from characters in the field and give them information, supply drops (must be a Passive Feature), or strike support (must be a Passive Feature). Additionally, the comms can be detached from the helmet and placed covertly inside the ear or pinned on the surface of clothes and non-metallic parts of a suit.

[*]Flashlights - The suit has two solar-powered helmet lights, two palm lights, and an emergency light with its own power supply. This emergency light will still work even after the suit's main power supply is depleted and will last for a day.

[*]Tracking Device - Has a range of about one mile without a Crimson Canines C.S.A device nearby. The tracker allows the wearer to show up in an ally's mini-map. Some foes have "Signal Jammers" that make them invisible in the map.

Civillian Suits

Civilian Suits are flimsier and easily punctured. They don't have any of the default properties a combat suit has except for the communications device and a basic breathing port that only allows them to breathe the air outside.

Mechs

Combat Mechs

The main difference between industrial mechs and combat mechs is that combat mechs are neurologically linked to their pilots when online, allowing the mech to react almost as quickly as the pilot in real time.

PARTS:

Armaments - These are the weapons attached or built into the frame of a mech.

Chassis -
