Her small frame is decorated with an array of scars. The two tattoos that help to hide her ugly scars were on her back, the painting was a pair of black raven wings that covered the scars, and on her stomach, The tattoo that was applied to her stomach was that of two angels embracing.


Personality:Yuri is a sarcastic girl. She rarely allows anyone to get away with insulting her. She's a quick thinker and is ready to act at moments notice. The girl is insecure and takes every insult personally. She's quick to reject help and refuses to grow a relationship with another. Yuri doesn't trust the creatures refered to as humans, finding them all to be deadly creatures of lies and poison. Due to all these stockpiled emotions she's a killer in the field. She uses anger to fight her battles. Love is nothing but a distraction for her and she hopes shes not Cupid's next target.


Biography(History):Yuri was an abused girl from the age of five. Her family treated her as if she was a punching bag. They handed out painful attacks that never seemed to stop. The hits and cuts went on for two years and she was forever broken. Her Mother, Father, and Brother died on a trip she was never invited to and was happy she didn't attend. For the next few weeks she was to live in an orphanage until the man named Yuki Ito took her in and began her training. She quickly excelled in her abilities.

Tsukiko is a small girl with a petit frame. She has light hair, inspiring her name which means moon child, that she likes to keep in braids and blue grey eyes. Her skin is unmarred by any marks, scars or otherwise.


Personality: She has a personality to match her looks. She is shy and soft spoken, so often ignored, and vanishes into a crowd easily. She likes to keep to herself reading and playing music. Her favorite passtime is to watch and listen to people. She is actually very curious and often comes up with questions that she may not say out loud. She also has a specially carved bamboo flute, called a ry?teki, that she keeps with her at all times.

Biography: Tsukiko comes from a long line of traditional families. While her parents shunned the old traditions, her grandparents live in and take care of a temple. Unlike her parents Tsukiko has always had a strong connection with spirits. Her best friend as a child was a Zashiki-warashi, a protective child like spirit, that lived in her grandparents home. Her parents greatly disapproved of her believing in spirits and if she told them what she saw they would yell at her for making up lies. She was an outcast her classmates and even older brothers making fun of her.


One day while she was playing at her grandparents temple she found a colorfull pearl.

This was actually a Hoshi no Tama, or the soul of a kitsune, this one happened to belong to the fox that lived at the shrine.

The fox asked for the pearl back and in exchange he would grant her one wish.


"One wish, any wish in the world?"


"Yes. Money, fame I can make it yours."


"Then I wish... For you to be my friend."


"Are you sure that's what you want?"


"Yes, that's all I want."


"Then I will be your friend, I can not leave this shrine, but I will be able to watch over you."


"That's okay, I'll come visit you all the time."


As she grew older, the smell of her blood grew stronger and she started to be attacked more often. Not wanting to put her family in danger she made arrangments to go to Burrado Academy. The day she had to leave she told the Kitsune.


"I'm sorry I didn't tell you until today. I wanted to enjoy the time we had left."


"Do not cry, what ever distance seperates us we will still be friends. Take this."


"But, you already granted my wish."


"This is a gift from me to you. Friends give each other gifts don't they?"


He handed her a flute, inside was a Kuda-kitsune, a pipe fox, they can be used by a Kitsune as a familiar. They are the size of a large rat and can live in a pipe, they are also very intelligent and can answer many questions.

Aki is balanced and practical. He possesses a sense of leadership and ambitiousness, but also the occasional individualism. In spite of the natural coldness and seriousness that he carries, he shows sensibility that may capture the attention of even the enemy. For him, a mission is a mission--what he has been assigned with, Aki follows and finishes to the very end. He is strategic and anything but impulsive. He's focused and goal oriented, even in the face of something that looks impossible. He follows his thoughts more than feelings, but chooses to be thoughtful either way. He is often called girly by those who are always faced with his mellow actions, but he is also very capable of loyally protecting those whom he loves, no matter the cost.


Biography


Akio was but a child when his parents died--At least, this was what he was told. He spent his childhood with his mother's only sister, a mysterious aunt who took care of him. Her name was Victorique, and she was very fond of occult matters, especially magic (that Akio didn't like one bit). His relative's actions sometimes confused the child, but Aki focused on supplying the missing puzzle pieces to his parents' death, as he was certain that what happened then wasn't just a simple car accident.


He didn't expect that the same young woman that he had lived with for ten years was a demon; the one responsible for his parents' death. It was a snowy evening then when his 10th birthday came. His demon aunt, was out of control that night, that she massacred everyone who attended Akio's birthday party. Before he was attacked by the demon, Akio was saved by the father of his best friend, a man named Yuko Ito. He was the only one who survived.


The next years consisted of a focused and goal-oriented boy who gradually transcended and excelled in his duties. His cheerfulness and amiability was concealed with new found responsibility and maturity.

Her long fluffy dirty blonde hair typically cascades everywhere giving her a ruffled look that is rather adorable. Her skin is milky white and very soft, her eyes are a light azure and compliment her skin nicely. Her eyes look rather innocent but they harden when she is arguing with someone, which is often.

Personality(And History): Being born in a rather middle class family in Japan, the majority of her upbringing was done by her aunt, as her parents had been too busy working to find appropriate babysitting. Her aunt was a wealthy woman sitting on top of a business empire. But she had a vicious mouth, liking everything her way and it was passed on to Yuki. Her aunt used to dress her up in cute frilly clothes but when people picked on her she threw them away. After her aunt passed away from cancer (and a very large cigarette addiction) she inherited her home and the wealth she had amassed over the years. She lives alone in that giant mansion with no help.

From her appearance and grades she might seem like the perfect girl but when you get to know her Yuki is often mean, rude, haughty, and slightly snobby, as a defense mechanism for dealing with other people. She doesn't have very much control over her actions and ends up saying very undesirable things, and hurting those around her. She acts very high and mighty but often regrets her words, unable to take them back. She can be easily flustered but recovers by snapping back with a seething retort. Valuing herself above most others it's no surprise that she doesn’t normally have friends. Not cold to people though, arguing with everyone and getting involved. A very intelligent mind that she often brags about, shes very stuck up. But the secret side of her wants to have fun with friends, she has an addiction to cute things and likes to sew.

Biography(History):

Irum was born into a well off middle class family. He was the forth son out of 5, and the last out of all the children. Because of this Irum was largely ignored by his mother and father. He was prone to kindness all of his life, doing charity work and helping the homeless. His parents wouldn't fund his little acts of charity, so he frequently gave away all the money he earned from them. His parents started punishing him for this, starving and beating him. He earned the nickname "Urchin" from his siblings because of this. In recent years, Irum's family fell upon hard times, and became poor. Irum's parents sent their children to various places for apprenticeships. Because Irum was both the youngest and the least important of his siblings, he was sent to Burrado Academy against his will.

Mamoru has black hair, that at times can even look a bit dark blue in certain lights. His dark hair color is paired with a two pairs of interesting blue eyes, that seem to put you in a trance just staring at them. At times they seem to glow in certain lights or even at midnight surprisingly. You may be wondering what he usually wears on his head, instead of having nothing on his head, Mamoru has a pair of goggles that rest upon his head. There something that means a lot to him, and doesn't like anyone touching them. The only time there off his head are when he goes to bed or goes to take a shower, if he goes to a swim which is quite rare. Other times, they might just fall of his head only for him to quickly dust them off and place them back on his head. Mamoru stands about 6'0, which is why he's called a giant and weighs about 160lbs. Despite his lean build, he's actually quite strong maybe it was from all that hard work he's done growing up.




Personality:


Mamoru has quite the personality, because of his looks he may look quite, quiet and mysterious. Which isn't to far from how he acts. Mamoru can be quiet at times. Which makes it hard to have a conversation with him since he'll respond with a nod, or a simple yes or no. Doesn't mean he's shy he just rather not say a lot. Despite, his quietness he is blunt. He will say whatever is on his mind when it is on head, Mamoru won't say it loudly but could mumble it cause of his quietness. Doesn't mean he's afraid to yell it out to tell you what he thinks, this usually happens rarely though. Because of his quietness and bluntness, he doesn't like to show a lot of emotions and usually has a wall between him and people so they won't get to know the real him, which at times people can classify him as a tough person.

Though just because of this, it doesn't mean he doesn't have any good traits. In fact he does, he just doesn't exactly show them quite a lot. Mamoru will probably be one of the loyalist people you will ever meet. He will stay by your side, despite of what you did. If you killed someone, he would still stay by your side. Even though he may not feel as comfortable around you as usually. He will still be by your side through thick and thin. Another thing about Mamoru is that he's always calm, at all times. Without his calmness he's sure that everybody would probably go crazy, he's know to calm someone down quite easily so people who are close to him usually come to him for a shoulder to either lean on or to vent out on something. Or even if they need to wind down from something happening.

Biography:


Born on May 21st, Mamoru was born into a quite poor family sadly. People had often looked down on his family, and had only seen them as trash and a burden nothing more. Mamoru's parents knew they had to do something so they could properly take care of there children instead of having them stealing stuff from the stores and living on the streets. They wanted to keep Mamoru, but they just couldn't benefit three people because of how poor they were. So they did what any parents knew they had to do, they had sold Mamoru away to a very wealthy family that were looking for people to work for them. So at the age of 11, Mamoru was removed from his parents and was then sent to the wealthy family to live there most of his life till he could take care of his self. Though so he wouldn't forget his parents, they had gave him a pair of googles that was given by generation.



It wasn't easy living there, they had treated everyone there fairly but it always seemed like a never ending list of work to do for Mamoru. So the poor 11 year-old Mamoru had barley got any sleep, and when he did the longest he got was about a hour or 2 sadly. His work was hardcore, though the benefit was that they had fed every single on of there worker till they had gotten full and couldn't eat anymore. They even gave everyone there own room, even though most of them never got to sleep. Probably the best benefit of working there was that he actually had went to school, so he could get his education. Though just because of this so called good lifestyle Mamoru had wished that his parents didn't send him to work at this Mansion. He had rather steal stuff from stores to survive and try and maintain a normal life instead of work for someone but sadly that's not how life worked for him.

Yuko is 5 ' 5" with a slim but curvy body. She is pale with blue eyes and reddish brown hair cut short and framing her face. She is often found to be grinning or blushing shyly and she tends to dress in a very reserved and traditional yet cute manner.

Personality:


Yuko has a bit of a yangire personality. For the most part, she is a sweet and caring girl, of a bit shy. But in certain situations she can become quite scary, acting very frightening and hostile if she becomes determined. She tends to be shy and cutesy, but very energetic when it comes down to it.


While she acts a bit airheaded and girlish, she is actually obfuscating her stupidity. In actuality she is quite intuitive and perceptive. She can read people, especially whether they are speaking the truth or not, just by looking at their face and seeing it in their eyes. When push comes to shove, she will take action without hesitation and in a heated debate she will give the most blunt and biting retorts.


Biography(History):


Yuka used to go to a regular school, and she had a wonderful time there. Until one day, during a violent outburst, she seemed to have a mental breakdown and smashed all the windows. It is said that while she did so, she was yelling something about a liar. Embarrassed for her actions, and wary of trusting others there again, Yuka transferred out.


Soon enough, the Burrado Academy heard of her great energy and potential strength. When she arrived at the Burrado school, she changed her name to Yuko and took her job of protecting one with special blood very seriously. However, she keeps her past at her old school a secret, worried that no one would belive her side anyways.

Haruka has dark violet hair, though it appears black most of the time. When it sunlight, it will give off a violet color. She is rather small for her age, just over 5 feet, and has violet eyes that often sparkle when she spots a dessert or is interested in something. She changes hairstyles from ponytail to just letting it down, since she doesn't really know about other hairstyles. She may appear girly, but she is more of a neutral, since she doesn't have some qualities that girls are supposedly supposed to have.


(ex: She doesn't have a strong fashion sense, and she doesn't enjoy shopping for clothes/make-up)

Personality:


Haruka is light-hearted and a gentle girl, always trying to look after others. She has a sense of curiosity that often gets her into trouble, and many people may call her ditsy for running into things while deep in thought. She is rather intelligent, and performs well academically as one of the top students, though her athletics skills are very poor. Strangely, she can swim and skate rather well, though when it comes to other sports, such as volleyball or basketball, she usually ends up hitting someone accidentally.


Haruka is rather positive about things, though she does have her depressed, sad moments, though this is usually unseen by those around her. She dislikes to trouble others just because of her condition, so she often pretends that she is just her usually, smiling self. Usually, she is worrying about others, and being the observant type rather than the kind of person to participate, she may end up staring at people.


Haruka loves games, and is quite skilled at them despite being a top student. She also loves music, so she always has her headphones/earphones with her, and learned piano from her grandmother at a very young age for this. Her cooking/baking skills are superb, since she likes to eat sweet things, as well as cook for her friends.


Haruka is slow to understanding her own emotions, and sometimes, others' emotions as well. Most of the time, she is a good listener, so people usually just talk to her for the sake of getting their problems into the light, even if she isn't really good at giving advice back.


Due to her lax nature, people approach her since it seems like she would be an easy friend to make. However, without knowing it herself, Haruka has a hard time trusting people. Once she truly trusts someone, she can become strongly attached.

Biography(History):


Haruka was born as a frail child, and usually couldn't handle doing anything too active, such as running or jogging. Her condition got better as she got older, but she still needs to watch her body just in case another attack may come. As a child, she often sat out on activities since her body couldn't handle it, though she enjoyed watching everyone enjoy themselves from the sidelines. Due to her frail condition, she often read books and spent time drawing/painting.


Haruka was generally alone, even if her friendly personality drew people to her. She wasn't a special kind of person, so many people ended up forgetting that she was there sometimes. Her family wasn't exactly rich, but they were just above middle-class, so they were on their way to making money. Haruka usually spent the money she gets on cooking ingredients and extra art supplies.


Due to her parents being abroad all the time, Haruka rarely got to see her parents, and spent most of her time around her grandmother. She cannot even say she knows her parents, since they'd left for trips when she was 2 years old. Her birthdays (June 1st) were always celebrated with her grandmother, and she never told anyone at school about her birthday.

Yukku greets every day with a smile, and often abides by the Golden Rule: "do unto others, as they would unto you."


Biography(History): Born in Osaka, Yukku never once experienced the terror of facing a demon. Rather, he spent his childhood making friends and earning good grades in school. When the time came for him to head off to high school, he spent some time in an inner-city school before transferring to Burrado Academy at the behest of his loving parents. It's safe to say that Yukku is a well-adjusted teenager with no outstanding traumas.

Power: Despite his lazy demeanor, Yukku hides phenomenal perception and speed. With significant concentration, Yukku can slow down his perception of time and speed up his movement, effectively allowing him to act moderately quicker than should be possible by human standards. He can transfer one or both of these traits to a given target by piercing his and their pressure points, but doing so is immensely exhausting and requires him to invest all of his effort on keeping his target in his mind's eye.


Notably, having your movements sped up does nothing to keep you from suffering the effects of force and friction. Moving at extremely fast speeds will rapidly cause skin burns, and striking targets while sped-up will injure both parties significantly moreso, due to the increased force behind the strike.

Personality: Janguru has a boisterous attitude. Yet, oddly despite or because of this boisterous attitude she prefers action to talking. Sometimes she just communicates through body language, instead of actual words. She is a thrill-seeker, who abhors mundane life-styles. Janguru is a firm believer in living for the day, and as such this encourages her thrill-seeking nature.


Biography(History): Janguru grew up in a rather dark and desolate jungle, with few other indigenous peoples. Her early years were spent hunting, and living a nomadic lifestyle. She never stayed at the same patch of wilderness for too long. Then one day she had encountered a rather strange creature, which she tried to hunt. She did not manage to catch it, but she managed to track it for awhile. Though she lost it in a some-what urbanized city, but she discovered the urbanized city and some wonders it held. She mucked about there, until she was thrust in a series of curious circumstances in which she found herself enrolled in Burrado Academy.

Yasei Kasai is a wild fire, literally thats what his name means. This guy will pick a fight with anyone who looks at him and when hes in a bad mood someone who doesn’t look at him. A loud brat who overreacts when he's insulted, he might be the best friend you could have. And like any good generic tsundere he of course has a goofy, bad with emotions or women in general side, but for fear of being embarrassed this is pretty well covered up by his pompous acts of violence. When it comes down to it hes defensive and protective of his love ones especially family members. Not wishing to ever let anyone harm them.


Biography(History): Yasei was an orphan on the streets when Ito found and took him in, he didn't want to become a guard but he had to, to pay back the debt to Yuko for raising him all those years. He can't remember if he had a family or not but he had decided to leave it behind after he found the scars from previous abuse, not wanting to get into his family drama anymore.

A boy with a silver tongue who enjoys talking in circles, if only to confuse others and amuse himself. Though his mannerisms work to keep those around him at arm's length, he is a dedicated friend and only teases out of affection. With everything in life, including the things he eats, he enjoys a little bit of risk. Easygoing and loves messing with people, but works hard and secretly helps them out however he can. Biography(History):


Leon, or Leo as he likes to be called, grew up as a dragon priest in a distant land; a person who tended to the dragon and did as it asked for the sake of his people. Instead of becoming the dragon's slave, he became her friend and quickly grew attached to her, and in return for his services, the dragon protected his people from any threat imaginable. Sadly not even dragons are immortal, even though they love to facade as they are and she died one day when protecting him from the demons who wanted his blood. Before she died she revealed to her what he was, and so he fled for his life under her wishes; though he would have rather have stood his ground and fought to the death. He heard about Burrado Academy in his travels and now is hoping to attend it.

Personality: Jirou is fairly dim and finds himself apathetic to most people and things, showing interest only in things and people he considers brutal.


Biography: Jirou was born in a small island village just off the coast to loving-but-strict parents. Over the years, he grew more and more distant and rebellious from his family, getting in fights down at the docks, living the life of a headbanger. Then, one day, everything changed; demons attacked one of the concerts, out for Jirou's blood. The creatures slaughtered most of the metalheads before they had realized that the demon attack wasn't part of the show. Fleeing the demonic horde, Jirou eventually found himself on a small fishing boat, watching as demons burned down the island that had housed him for over 15 years. As he watched the flames consume all that he had known, a thought came to him: This would make an awesome album cover.

Not shown: Tends to dress in black leather jackets. Wears a thick, dull grey metal choker that covers his whole neck. The thing looks like a torture device, large enough that it should by all accounts be horrible to wear, covered entirely in intricate runic carvings and sections of it have very clearly had nails driven into them, though whether they actually went into Minoru's neck, none could say. Most unsettling, there's no hinges, clasps or latches visible, no apparent way of removing the collar whatsoever.


Personality: A gruff and taciturn but reasonably kind and friendly man despite his mean, obvious delinquent looks, he is particularly concerned with being a man's man, a manly man. What exactly this means seems to vary from time to time. He is, however, not at all fond of horseplay and putzing around and will generally find overly playful or talkative people annoying.


Biography(History):


"Kid, you're a man, you gotta be manly!" were some of the last words Minoru's father said to him, when he came back crying about being bullied at school. His dad passed away soon after, a traffic accident that had nothing to do with the situation whatsoever. Just a drunk driver and bad luck. But dammit if those words didn't stick with Minoru to this day. Though he wasn't too sure what exactly being manly meant and now lacked a father figure for further guidance, he tried his best. He was very brave and very kind, but fought when he felt he had to. Trying to fight a big dog to protect some friends wasn't the best call, however, and he ended up with a scarred face and a damaged larynx for his troubles.


After his mom moved out and he tagged along because manly men don't abandon their mothers, he was invited to the Buraddo Academy to continue his education and with the promise of fixing his damaged voicebox. Though he didn't want to leave his mom all alone, she encouraged him to go for the sake of his future, and after a parting full of both regular and manly tears, he arrived at the site of his education to find out that it was a school for protecting magic kids and he was to be trained to fight demons. It was insane and weird and more normal people would've taken it as a joke or a cult. For Minoru it was "bitching" and he jumped at the chance. Getting back a voice, if not his, was nice too.

His voice. Well, technically his collar. Aside from "restoring" his voice by giving him a deep, sharp metallic tone that's a cross between Darth Vader, Norio Wakamoto and Lemmy Kilmister while still somehow being able to reach high notes, it also gives him the ability to weaponize his voice by creating and manipulating sound blasts.
