Carley had a long day. She had woke up at 4am, and went down to the stalls where her horse, Sis was spending the nights leading up to the big show. She had traveled about thirteen hours to this rodeo on Tuesday night, and had been staying in her trailer on the property, along with at least two hundred other riders since.
She had cleaned her horse up, cleaned her stall out, ridden her... lightly not to tire her out, and then hosed her off and put her out in one of the pastures to graze. Then she had cleaned up her trailer and showered.By that time it was already 4 o'clock in the afternoon so the woman just sat around until around 7 when she went out to a bar.
She wore a pair of clean bell bottoms and a nicer top, but she slipped on on of her more used pair of boots. They were comfortable. She hadn't done much makeup... she rarely ever did. Simple concealer, mascara, filled in her eyebrows and a little bit of blush and clear lipgloss.
She had been told that this bar was one of the better ones in the area, so she took the locals word for it and strolled in. She took a seat at the bar top and ordered herself a vodka redbull. She sat and nursed the drink as she watched the tv above her. The news was really advertising this rodeo, as it was one of the biggest ones of the year. She still couldn't believe she had qualified for it.
