Welcome to the
flower program
. For the next five years, you are now a
flower
, humanity's first, last, and only line of defense against
fragments
. Familiarize yourself with the
bouquet app
and its functions. This is an essential tool and your primary means of transformation. It is recommended that you keep your phone on your person at all times.

Please remember that the program is secret; if a
flower
(both active and graduated) is discovered divulging information, they are removed from the program and memories from their years in service are wiped.

For now, visit the
bouquet shop
branch nearest you. Our friendly staff will assist you in acclimating to the program and understanding the powers and responsibilities a
flower
holds. You can also meet other members of the program there.

Good luck! May flowers line your path and guide your way.

Characters will be posted here. It's encouraged you use the provided CS linked here. It's okay to slowly work on the CS, the only ones required before you're approved are the basic information, personality, and abilities as a Flower. Everything else is a take as you go sort of thing. Anything with an
&* (ampersand + asterisk)
means this is the section you edit and fill out.

You are free to edit and tweak the sections to fit what you need. However, the only variables you should change are the ones near the top. If I've moved a variable lower, it means you likely shouldn't mess with it. The only exception to this rule would be the relationship accordions!

You're approved once you get a react from me.

Recently, she's elected to wear her hair in dark brown braids, and has picked up a self-titled 'Isiscore' aesthetic, which she claims is a mix of neutral colors and warm metals, tight tops, and 'the key;' a huge jacket." (Hi-Power Fashion Magazine, xxxx)
"Isis is just like your everyday-man, with many interests. In an interview, Isis told us, '[she] enjoys acting and singing and all that . . . Social media is a big interest of [hers.]' Despite this, Isis doesn't seem to be active on her social media, with only the occasional reply every other month. It actually took us years to get that interview, and it only lasted a few minutes before Isis left." (Modern Times, xxxx)
"Isis is an elusive celebrity. She takes care to not step into the limelight unless she has to, even to the point of avoiding the media. You may have even seen the video of Isis telling a cameraman to 'shut the fuck up.' However, when she does allow for interviews, it is clear she knows her way around a conversation. Her words are smooth and charismatic, and never does she stutter. In fact, Isis Gray may be the greatest public speaker of our time." (dogwithablog, xxxx)

Isis Meadow Gray is a notorious singer and actress. The daughter of Karmen Gray and Isaac Gray, she has received multiple accolades, most notably her Youth Film award and two Vinyl awards, along with nominations for many others.
Gray made her acting debut when she was nine, accompanied by two of her siblings in the film Made Untitled, and would consistently appear in movies until she was 18. At age 13, Isis Gray launched her musical career by featuring on her brother’s song, Silly String, which peaked at number 14 on the Hot 100. She went on to create 4 albums and 10 singles.
    Personal Life
Isis Meadow Gray was the only daughter born to business lady Karmen Gray and actor-musician Isaac Gray. She has four brothers; her older ones, King Gray and Marson Gray, and her younger ones, Elijah Harris, and Asher Gray.
Her brother, Elijah Harris, has spoken out about his and his siblings’ isolation from having normal childhoods, and has claimed that it has hurt Isis the most. Isis has never commented on this.
Isis has often been noted for achieving groundbreaking success away from her musical career, with her work as an actor in television and film and as a spokesperson for her mother’s business. She has been cited as one of the "greatest actors" or “public speakers” of her generation by several publications.
Despite controversy surrounding other, distant members of the Gray family, Isis has not faced public depreciation. However, there are rumors that Gray has paid off various authority figures for silence.

What do you give a girl who has everything?
For many, this is a difficult question to answer.
Isis was raised under her family’s fortune. From prominent business owners to full-blown celebrities, money was raking in from all sides of the tree. Of course, this is to say Isis and her relatives were all household names.
From day one, Isis was under the spotlight. This was the same for her siblings before her, and her siblings after. “Normal” was not a lifestyle they knew.
She went to school every day and did her homework and lived as normal of a life as she could, but there was always something going on in the background. Whether that was getting placed in roles as an actress or having singing lessons pushed on her, she didn’t really get to have a life that many other kids did.
That wasn’t to say she didn’t enjoy herself.
No, in fact, not being privy to the rest of the world lent itself to be quite a wondrous time.
She had many artistic skills that others did not. Networking and making connections was easy. Almost as easy as all the lies and false promises she’d learned to tell. And, best of all, they had lots of money to fall back on.
Really, there was only one con she could think of.
    The spotlight itself.
Having all eyes on you, having the world know your name, having never known the idea of privacy, was, ultimately, unfavorable. There were too many people judging her for simple mistakes, too many pictures of her online, too many times had she’d been recognized on the street whilst she was just trying to get a coffee. Too many, too many, too many.
Fame, in and of itself, was a curse.
A curse so detrimental that all that Isis could wish for was to be erased from the public eye. Start all over as a nobody, and forget all the memories that came with fame.
She could be a whole new person.
What do you give a girl who has everything?
The answer is quite simple: nothing.

Typically a shut in due to her career and social interactions being online, Mariana normally doesn’t wear too much besides pajamas or comfy clothes. However, when going out, she normally has a simple outfit on. A pair of purple heeled boots, black thigh highs, a dark purple skirt, a sleeveless black shirt, and a purple coat all topped off with a purple bow. Her hair is kept in a curly ponytail most of the time.
Mariana is a shy, meek girl. She doesn’t like violence, blood, or fighting. This all likely stems from her almost constant encounter with misfortune from the age of 8. After a boat accident that killed her family, she would constantly experience misfortune and tragedy. Worse, it seemed to only affect those around her, and not exactly her herself. This led to Mariana shutting everyone out and holing herself away in her house. She can be awkward and somewhat anti-social. However, Mariana is incredibly nice and wishes to help people however she can. She craves friends and social interaction, however because of her past and the unfortunate events that befall those around her, she has little to no social interactions.

Black waves reflected the crimson red of the sky. Mari felt wet sand under her soaked clothes. A sandbar in an endless sea of black and red waves. They toiled and thrashed around, the spray filling the air and misting Mariana. The seas around the sandbar were calmer. They lapped at her legs. The water was warm… Hot, even. A thick smell of iron filled the air. She felt scared. Terrified. A dread indescribable. However, something told her to let it happen. Let the waves swallow her up. If she just gave in, she would be fine… She closed her eyes, and the waters became more violent, eating away at the sandbar. Mariana closed her eyes…
”Drag me in, take me under.” … “Tides close in, taking me under,” The lines upon the sands faded, losing their form to the sea. Something told her, these waves would wash away the stains. Would bring her to a state of purification and catharsis. “I give in.” The fragment smiled.
Mariana was 8 when she awoke from her living nightmare. Black waves reflected the crimson of a fire aboard her family’s leisure vessel, “The Umpqua.”. Mari felt wet sand under her soaked clothes. A sandbar in an endless sea of black and red waves hosted the burning vessel, turning everything around it in the night red. The seas around them were calm. They lapped at her legs. The water was warm… Hot, even. A thick smell of iron filled the air. She felt scared.Terrified. A dread indescribable. However, she couldn’t keep her eyes open. If she closed her eyes, she would be fine… So that’s what she did.
It was a freak accident. A dead head in the boat’s path ripped it open, rupturing the fuel tank. It then drifted until beaching itself on a sandbar. Mariana was the only survivor… The child moved from the hospital to an orphanage. Then from home to home. But it seemed bad luck followed her everywhere. Accidents would follow her. Just as sure to arrive as the sun was to set. Mariana would soon start distancing herself from everyone she could. She became shy, regretful, and guilty. She hated the misfortune she brought to everyone around her. She grew up sweet and caring, wanting to offset the hurt she caused by helping where she could. But she tried to stay away, and help from a distance. This made her incredibly shy and socially awkward. By age 16, she had gone to fully online classes, and all her hobbies were now online, so as to not hurt anyone. She started drawing, and became good enough by age 17 to leave the orphanage by herself, surviving off of commissions and other online jobs like tutoring and troubleshooting. Mariana assumed her life would stay like this. Cramped in her tiny studio apartment, no friends, family, or single person to see and interact with. Until she received a text message… Something about that information seemed familiar… She felt as if something within that revealed something within her own life. But at the same time, she had no idea what it was. Mariana had a gut feeling…
    So, she tapped “Accept.”.

It was quite the story. Mari had just started moving into her new apartment. Her neighbor, Nabi, noticed and decided to offer her assistance. However, as usual, misfortune befell the two when two heavy, high stacked boxes fell towards Mari. Nabi moved her out of the way as the heavy box filled with pots, pans, and heavy cookware crashed down where Mariana had been standing. However, Nabi was left with a cut cheek and sprained ankle. Mariana felt incredibly guilty and saddened, having hurt someone again. Mariana would then, days later, send Nabi a freshly baked batch of cookies to make up for it. So therein began the cycle. Nabi would feel obligated to send a gift back, and try to help Mariana with something. She would end up getting hurt in some way, and Mari would send a gift her way. Then Nabi would send one back. Repeat.

The illustrations depict how she would have looked around the time of her botched surgery. Currently, she bears several marks of the surgery, including a notable scar over one eyelid (which can no longer open fully), a very slightly snipped nose tip, and a crooked upper lip.
Sophia is a person who has changed drastically in the past year or so, thanks to her experiences. Even considering her new experiences with the Bouquet, she's only just coming out of the shell she shut herself into. That doesn't mean she's unlikely to talk, but around most people she meets now, her speech tends to be...measured, rarely letting on much of what she likes, dislikes, or feels in any situation. She does seem to have a bit more concern for people that seem naive or careless to her, however.

Sophia Sterling was an entirely ordinary girl who had lived an ordinary life for 17 years with ordinary talents. Perhaps if someone had told her that she didn't need to be extraordinary to be happy, she wouldn't be the way she is right now. But no one did. So she talked to her friends about her dreams on graduation day, about how she wished she could be a star. Famous, adored, with a plan for the future. You know, like Isis Grey. Her friends laughed it off, and so did she. But it didn't take long for her fate to change...
It was less than a week after graduation when she got a call from a former schoolmate, a guy two years her senior. A heir to several parts of the entertainment industry, in line to run a record label and a film studio of his own. A guy whose family name, if mentioned, would certainly be recognized by one in two. He asked her out, and she accepted, and that's all it was for a while. It didn't take long for him to let on that he'd somehow heard about her dream, and to promise that he could help her make it real. "You and me, rising together. Until the world is at our feet." Sophia didn't think twice before agreeing. All it would take was for her to follow his plan...vocal training, a new fitness program, schmoozing with industry names...and maybe just a little medical adjustment, to get the perfect look for the new hotness on the block.
The plastic surgeon was a reputable type, operating out of a well-equipped private clinic uptown. The treatments went as well as they could possibly, until the day came for Sophia to go under the knife. Was it the anaesthetic the doctor used? Was it the filler she had injected previously? It doesn't matter anymore. Either way, a one-in-a-million misfortune struck. While sedated, something in her nervous system fired. Her body went into spasms while the doctor was hard at work, sending them scrambling to regain control. They did the best they could to mitigate the damage, but there was only so much that could be done while the rest of her body was at risk of entering critical condition. When Sophia woke up in a public hospital a day later, her love was nowhere to be seen. But before an hour had passed, a lawyer invited themselves in, offering her a sizable sum in return for her silence. With the understanding of course, that refusal would be...much worse for her. What else could she do? After that day, she isolated herself, cutting off her friends and family, living aimlessly with her face behind a mask until the day the Bouquet app came. Now she draws on a new hope, and a new sense of purpose, for the battles ahead of her.

Cedar is most often dressed in sensible and comfortable clothing, as dictated by the long hours she spends on her feet in front of a classroom. She wears easy and delicate pieces with a preference towards natural fabrics and classic cuts. They compliment her long vertical line, fooling others about being taller than she actually is at around 165cm. She's long learned how to use clothes to hide and flatter certain qualities of her body.
Cedar feels as solid as the tree she's named after; when the shop is in chaos, she remains calm and unfazed. With just one word, the instigators stop and listen. Maybe it's natural to her, or maybe it's the years she's spent being a PE teacher at the local public middle school. Regardless of the reason, it's made her the de-facto senior for reeling in the rowdier Flowers.
Students and friends alike have come to appreciate her pragmatic and honest approach to life. According to her, most manners of dreams and aspirations were achievable - but it required a shit ton of work, and it wouldn't always be the same as what you envisioned. It's something she's learned in the past four years, both as a Flower, and as she transitioned.
There's an innate kindness in Cedar that initially drove her to pursue education; it continues to this day, permeating her actions as a Flower. She values people, she values life. She would rather fail a mission than lose a team member. Whether that would ultimately be her downfall remains to be seen, but you couldn't get her mind to change about it even if you tried.

Bouquet came into Cedar's life the day she metamorphosized.
She'd always felt wrong. Doing the wrong things, dressing the wrong way, or being with the wrong people. She never understood it herself; she had decent parents and a happy (if a bit sheltered) upbringing. She felt trapped in her own skin, suffocating to the point of breaking. There was always a wish inside her to have been born different, though she never could put to words what exactly it was.
University was her catalyst for change, and here she finally put a name to the burden she carried on her shoulders. Away from the loving but tethered care of her family, she learned about herself. She didn't, and never had, fit in the box she'd been shoehorned into at birth. The knowledge was almost a curse; what used to be an unsettled feeling now made her want to rip out her own skin. The journey to leave it wouldn't be an easy one. A tumultuous trek with the final destination as... herself. Still the same Cedar, still with the same faults, still with the same desires.
    Just more of her.
Cedar left the clinic feeling desolate. It was dangerous to undergo HRT - her doctor explained that she'd tested high risk for several complications. They couldn't, in good conscience, proceed with the therapy knowing the risks outweighed the positives. She made a stop at a boutique she frequented, hoping a pretty dress might fill the gaping hole making itself known in her heart. As she stared at herself in the dressing room mirror, tears threatening to spill, she shook her head. It wasn't her ideal situation, no, but she'd been accepted by those around her for who she was. If it wasn't possible that way, there was bound to be another.
The day she accepted the long road ahead of her, she bloomed.
A wish, in exchange for five years in service. It was fate; she chose to heed it.

Kenji is one of the students she met at her side gig. He's not her first dropout looking for a second chance, but he's one of her most memorable students due to the sheer drive he has. Cedar's admittedly curious about where it comes from , but from experience she knows he'll tell her when he's ready.
    Will
Cedar was already into her third year of being a Flower when he came into the scene. It's been fascinating to her to watch him mature and learn to curb his tongue in the time they've worked together. She's found a comrade in him in how they both bear the responsibility of being a Flower beyond just wanting a wish fulfilled.

Kenji Kurogane is an imposing figure, standing at an impressive 6'3" with a robust, muscular build that reflects his life as a seasoned fighter. His striking appearance is accentuated by piercing sapphire-blue eyes that seem to hold a world of determination within them. His hair is a distinctive feature, styled into a long, razor-sharp mohawk, with the sides expertly shaved to a close trim, showcasing his edgy and bold sense of style. In his day-to-day attire, Kenji typically opts for sportswear, often donning comfortable shorts or sleek tracksuit bottoms, paired with a classic tank top that highlights his formidable physique. His choice of clothing mirrors his active lifestyle and practical approach to combat, ready to take on any challenge that comes his way. His right arm is adorned with a large traditional Japanese-style tattoo, portraying samurai armor, which extends onto his right pectoral and shoulder blade.
Kenji's life has been marked by hardship and adversity from a young age, resulting in deep-seated bitterness and resentment towards the world. He can't help but feel that life has dealt him an unfair hand, robbing him of his childhood innocence and thrusting him into the harsh reality of adulthood. This bitterness seeps into his daily interactions, making him cynical and sarcastic. He often views the world through a jaded lens, quick to question the motives and intentions of those around him. At his core, Kenji is a rebel. He's never been one to blindly accept authority or conform to societal norms. His rebellious nature serves as a coping mechanism for the anger and frustration that life has thrown his way. He finds solace in pushing back against the constraints placed on him, defying expectations others may have of him. This rebellion is his way of reclaiming some semblance of control in a world that often feels uncontrollable.
Despite his tough exterior, Kenji possesses a fiercely protective instinct, especially when it comes to his comatose mother. His mother's condition has left him with a deep sense of responsibility for her well-being, and he'll go to great lengths to ensure she receives the care she needs. While Kenji may appear as a lone wolf at times, he values loyalty above all else. He believes in the importance of trust and honesty within relationships and will stand by his friends through thick and thin. Kenji is not one to abandon those he's grown close to.
Beneath his tough exterior, Kenji carries a deep sense of inner turmoil. He's haunted by the thought that he might never be able to wake his mother from her coma, and this uncertainty gnaws at him constantly. He grapples with feelings of inadequacy and guilt, wondering if he could have done more to prevent his mother's condition. Once Kenji sets his mind on a goal, he can be incredibly stubborn. He doesn't give up easily and will keep fighting, even in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. His stubbornness is a testament to his unwavering determination. It's also a source of frustration for those who may try to sway him from his path, as he remains resolute in his convictions.
Kenji Kurogane is like a big cuddly bear. While his initial demeanor may come across as rugged and formidable, those who get to know him soon discover a sweet and caring side. Once you break through his protective shell, you'll find a warm-hearted individual who values loyalty, empathy, and meaningful connections with others. Kenji's fierce determination and unwavering loyalty to his friends make him a steadfast and reliable companion. He's quick to offer a listening ear and a compassionate heart, ready to stand by his friends through thick and thin.

Kenji Kurogane's backstory is a tale of struggle and the potential for redemption. Born into a modest family, he spent his early years in a neighborhood plagued by crime and poverty. From a tender age, Kenji displayed a rebellious spirit, often playing truant from school, and forging connections with a rough and violent crowd that seemed to offer him a sense of belonging. As he transitioned into his teenage years, Kenji's rebellious streak led him deeper into the underbelly of his neighborhood. He eventually succumbed to the allure of a local gang, embracing their lifestyle with fervor. Engaging in illicit activities and descending into a world of violence and crime became a stark reality for him. His mother, a resilient and hardworking woman who had raised him single-handedly, watched in despair as her beloved son's life took a dark turn. She tried desperately to steer him away from the perilous path he had chosen, but the grip of the gang proved too powerful for Kenji to break free from.
Then, one day, fate dealt Kenji a devastating blow. He returned home to a scene of sheer distress, finding his mother unconscious and unresponsive. Panic washed over him as he rushed her to the hospital, desperate for answers. The grim diagnosis from the doctors shattered his world—his mother had fallen into a coma, her condition attributed to a mysterious and incurable ailment. This life-altering moment forced Kenji to confront the consequences of his choices and the weight of his responsibilities. He grappled with overwhelming guilt for the decisions he had made, but his love for his mother burned brightly. Determined to provide her with the best possible care, Kenji made the agonizing decision to sever ties with the gang, recognizing that it was a treacherous path with no hope of redemption.
As he navigated the challenging landscape of his life, Kenji's path took a turn when the Bouquet app mysteriously installed itself on his phone. It presented him with an otherworldly opportunity to become a Flower, to wield incredible powers, and to potentially change the course of his life. However, Kenji hesitated, unsure if he was ready to accept the responsibilities and secrets that came with it. The decision weighed heavily on his mind, and the future remained uncertain. Kenji Kurogane stood at a crossroads, torn between the darkness of his past and the possibility of a new beginning. The app's presence on his phone served as a tantalizing but enigmatic offer—one that held the potential to shape his destiny in unforeseen ways.
    Fighting skills
Kenji was an untrained street fighter for a long time relying on his natural strength, but eventually, he did get some training in boxing before putting his gang life behind him.
    Occupation
Before becoming a Flower, Kenji juggled a demanding schedule. He worked as a delivery driver during the day and as a warehouse operative throughout the night. In addition to his grueling work, he managed to find time for studying, visiting his mom and occasionally found himself reluctantly pulled back into his former life in a gang. He currently only works as a delivery driver.
    Sexuailty
Kenji is pansexual but has currently never been in a romantic relationship.
    Gang life
Kenji used to be a part of a gang called Samurai, where he was an enforcer. His tattoo is evidence of this past life.
    Diego Kuroi
"Mentor, friend, and overall badass." The first day Kenji and Diego met was in an underground fighting pit, a place filled with blood, sweat, and tears. It marked Kenji's first time, and the overconfident street fighter had signed up for a match, only to discover the vast difference between a street fight and a ring fight. Predictably, Kenji ended up knocked out. Upon regaining consciousness, Kenji decided to stick around, watching a few more fights. It was during this time that he crossed paths with Diego. Diego, another fighter, had performed significantly better than Kenji. So, Kenji took the initiative and approached Diego, asking him to train him in proper fighting techniques. Surprisingly, it turned out that Diego and Kenji had much more in common than either of them had expected. Their friendship blossomed from that point onward.

She fulfills her role as his educator, aiming to impart knowledge and skills. However, to Kenji, Cedar represents much more than that. She stands as one of the few individuals in his life who's dedicated to steering him toward personal growth, guiding him to stay focused, avoid trouble, and pursue his education diligently. She serves as both a tutor and a valuable source of encouragement for his self-improvement journey.

Between his gray streak, above average height, and fashion sense, Will's age is often a mystery to those who don't know him. Rather than the made to measure suits of his office, the athleisure of his friends, he enjoys elevating casual fits with small accessories or statement pieces. It isn't uncommon for clients to approach Will for consultation, something that frustrates his boss to no end. More often than not though, his status becomes quite clear once he opens his mouth.
Will is no stranger to fights. Whether it was fighting his brother for a toy, fighting a classmate to be king of the hill, or fighting with his shampoo bottles for ideological supremacy he refuses to back down until his points are made clear. Contrary to the slick lawyer stereotype, he cares less about decorum and more about exchanging ideas. There's a rigor to his speech, speaking as though each word was handpicked for maximum impact. He despises weasel words and vague platitudes, cutting through people's waffling not with a sword, but a scalpel.
In his desire to be heard, Will becomes blind to the feelings of others and must be yelled at asked to consider whether a battle is worth picking. In those moments he finds himself at a loss, not because he might be wrong (he's fine with being corrected), but because none of that erases the people that he's hurt. Though he could play himself off as "brutally honest," his morals prevent him from ignoring his missteps.
He will put as much care into reconciliation as he does any other venture, reaching out both over text and in person. Whether other people choose to reciprocate his efforts doesn't matter in the long term as long as he' done his due diligence. Similarly, Willard forgives people easily so long as their intentions are authentic. He has no room for liars, cheaters, and thieves, always the first to suss out a bad actor and the last to warm up to a person. Even still, those who can stand his long probationary period will be rewarded with loyalty and mentorship.

Prior to becoming a Flower, Will was a law student with hopes of becoming a defense attorney once he graduated. Despite growing up in an upper middle class home (or perhaps because of it), he sought out companionship with the misfits, the downtrodden, and the odd balls of his district. At first, it was a fascination with people living "differently" than him but as he became older, he began noticing the socioeconomic divide between himself, his friends, and society in general. Between the comic books and procedural dramas he grew up watching, Will didn't understand why some people were so much wealthier than others. The answer that "some people just aren't born lucky" didn't satisfy him, particularly when he saw his friends' parents working themselves to the bone.
As a teenager he became more involved in his community...if you count posting online as involvement. While he signed petitions, spread awareness through his blogs, and joined community service clubs, much of the issues he saw existed in the abstract. Though he wrote at length on the subject, he always seemed to find an excuse flake on important events. He would donate to causes sure, but protesting on a Saturday? He had a concert to attend.
If you asked him what he thought of himself seventeen years ago, he would say he was full of shit.
His best friend was at the wrong place at the wrong time. On his way home from not, he discovered a group of students trying to cover up the death of one of their pledges. Though he tried to report the incident to the campus authorities, the guilty students used their connections to pin the incident on him entirely. Combined with the drugs discovered in his apartment, it was easy to paint him as a deranged addict. Spurned by the unjust charges, law school became Will's number one priority. If he could become an attorney, he could become the paragon he painted himself as.
Unfortunately, law school wasn't remotely similar to undergrad. Spoiled brats, opportunists, and a cutthroat environment took a toll on his mental health, but more than that was the summer he worked as a paralegal. As he pored over documents and watched his superiors struggle he realized that their license wasn't a key, but a shackle. They were forever bound to work within a system stacked against them. Will considered quitting the field entirely until Bouquet installed itself on his phone. Though he had his doubts about the Flower program, he couldn't turn down the opportunity to protect humanity nor the wish at the end of his service.
After a year and a half of being a Flower, not much of his personality has changed, though his blood pressure has spiked as a result of needing to mentor all the new recruits.

Cedar was the first Flower he met and the one he respects the most. Though he found her attitude patronizing at first, he soon realized it came from someone with good intentions. In public, Petra often wears her usual red leather jacket and avoids any clothing that would restrict her movement. Her style often mixes casual, streetwear, and punk fashion. However, Petra enjoys branching out and trying new things that might be cool, so her outfit is never guaranteed. But one thing is consistent. Petra never leaves the house without the two plastic rose gold rings her late dad gave her.
Petra's purposeful radiates confidence in nearly every situation. She wants to avoid anyone worrying about her, so she often hides any doubts or plainly ignores them. Petra is also plenty blunt with her opinions and does little to hide them. If she has something to say, she'll say it loud and clear. Often lacing her words with sarcasm, sass, or snarkiness when things don't quite fit her taste. People repeatedly describe Petra as insufferable and a hassle. Yet, there's some electric feeling she has about her that is able to worm its way into people's hearts. Whether it's her hopeless confidence, blind optimism, or her unwavering spirit, some people naturally get along with her, allowing her to have various friend groups.

Open-minded and ready to discover more. Unless Petra has already made her mind up, she's open to hearing new perspectives or information, so long as it's worth her time. The more you know, the more you can do. Petra likes to view knowledge as a freedom rather than a strict requirement. This view is also the only way she can bring herself to sit through the mind-numbing theory classes at college. Petra also has a tad bit of a problem getting carried away with her excitement. She once maxed out her card because she overly fixated on a cool fashion look she wanted to try. It doesn't help matters with how surprisingly gullible she is; if they sell her a cool story or boost her ego, she'll likely fall for any scam.

Petra's family cherished, loved, and adored her. They were constantly looking out for her and always checking in. If they even thought something was wrong, they'd ask about it or try to discuss it. She loathed it. It was suffocating to her. Instead of caring, it felt like they were monitoring her every move as if they couldn't trust her to make her own decisions. Petra grew agitated at this more and more, often avoiding going home. Petra either stayed at school clubs or slept over at a friend's house, but she knew she'd be barraged with questions when she got home. But, because of this, Petra inevitably experienced a lot more by staying out so late, having various random knowledge stored from after-school events and clubs.
Another reason Petra disliked her family's constant hovering is thanks to the heavy influence of the typical independent heroes in movies and shows. She always wanted to be that cool lone hero who saves the day. Constantly looking up to their selflessness and ability to push past all struggles by sheer determination made her heart race. Petra was determined to act cool like those heroes, often calling anything she deemed unfit to her ideal "lame" like her family. This behavior continued till tragedy struck. One of her fathers died in a work accident due to gross negligence. She found out three days later.
There was a large court case because of the prominence of the CEO. Unfortunately, the legal team of seven high-class lawyers waved the charges down to a fine of five thousand, barely a slap on the wrist. Though, no amount of money could've fixed what they lost. Hidden in the mob of reporters, Petra waited for them to leave the courthouse. Despite being told not to do something stupid, she couldn't resist, especially after seeing the verdict. So, when the CEO exited the courthouse, Petra shoved her way through the crowd and slammed her fist into that rich jerk's face. She doesn't recall what happened after that, but she could feel her fist still stinging the next day and somehow got off without charges.
Things at home were tense for a little while after that, but she started being kinder to her family. Yet their constant checking was still a pain, and she actively avoided doing anything to draw attention to herself. She often helped out around the house if they needed anything, trying to make up for being so harsh to her family when she was a kid.
And as for her now? Petra is currently a college student dorming and sometimes studying. She often visits her father's grave to lay a singular rose from his garden, still kicking through family efforts. Petra is still obsessed with being cool and keeps that annoying habit of calling everything lame, but she avoids calling people themselves lame unless they deserve it. She's often gullible if the lie sounds cool and not the wisest, but her heart is always close to the right place. Petra also tends to sweep herself and others up in her careless actions, too confident to consider if an idea is stupid. Naturally, she didn't even have to think before agreeing to the terms and conditions of this magical contract.
    || OCCUPATION Petra attends a community college studying to get a paramedic A.A.S.
    || SECRET SPOT When Petra needs to be alone, she ventures to a remote cafe where she can simply relax and not worry about running into anyone.
    || COMFORT FOOD Carefully made warm chocolate chip cookies.
    || ACCOMPLISHMENT Petra helped to plan and arrange one of the most successful prom nights when she was in high school.

Letizia is one to dress for comfort, wanting simple clothing that is easy to move in which often means pants and some type of top. Working in a restaurant they really have 2 types of clothing: work and going out from the rebellious (more fashionable) era of their life. They can go from grease, stinky, dirty clothing to looking like they stepped out of a magazine and it's all thanks to thrifting and knowing what to look for. They aren't rich but they know how to dress a class above where they and their family are sitting at. As Letizia parent's used to say "Dress to impress", meaning always dress up when going out as you never know who you might meet. That might be a partner, a new friend, or everyone someone to help the family business. Looks are never important but, they do try to put in some effort, for the sake of their family.
Letizia is a kind-hearted person who values nothing more than friends and family first. They are dedicated to helping people when they can and very loyal to those they call family, whether by blood or name alone. However, behind that bright smile is someone who is insecure, always afraid that they won't be able to do enough to help their family and loved ones, anxious, and often times bottles up their emotions, not wanting to be a problem for other people or put more on their plate. Yet a cheerful smile and contagious laughter can hide those dark feelings that plague their mind, often coming off as dense, and their caring nature might come off as nosey to some individuals. Letizia simply wants to get to know people and their story simply out of pure curiosity. THey are also very loud, but that might just be their Italian nature, and sometimes blunt, and a perfectionist as well. They do not take no as an answer very well and often times will express so loudly, but truly mean well. Coming from a large family, it was always a competition of who could speak over the rest, creating not just the loud nature but also an over-competitive nature as well. It can be a motivated but at the same time, it can also be a stressor, never settling for anything less than what they envisioned.

Family always comes first, and family is more than just blood. Letizia comes from a large loud Italian family who ran a local Italian restaurant and market, and she was the youngest of 5 children. Life was consumed by food, work, and most importantly, family. Cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents were always around, and there was never a quiet moment or any sense of privacy but they wouldn't have it any other way. They loved their family and the work they did, growing up and learning how to cook from their grandmother and mother, always wanting to help. They had that addictive giggle that would always brighten the room up just a little bit more. The family's sunshine is what many called them, especially when their older siblings were 4 older brothers, all very protective of their little sister, and they never knew a day when they didn't feel safe at home.
Yet good things could only last for so long, as 10-year-old Letizia discovered. They and many of her family were working in the restaurant, a big holiday coming up and they were preparing orders ahead of time, and by this point, Letizia had become quite the chef, just lacked the height and finesse older people had but it was still, considerably impressive. One moment, they were peeling boiled potatoes, the next moment, their ears were ringing, and they were on the floor, one of their brothers on top of them, shielding the little sibling from what they could only assume was an explosion, and soon, an oil fire erupted. The ringing died down and the frantic and panicky shouts of the Italian family could be heard, as they and their brother got up, looking around the now-burning kitchen. Their brother tried to shield their eyes by it was too much to cover. Frantically, Letizia was ushered out, too shocked to even cry, and soon taken away across the street by an aunt, standing with other younger cousins, as the fire truck could be heard, neighbors and other business owners nearby looking at the disaster that had just struck. This wasn't normal, this shouldn't have happened, and even they knew that yet at the moment, it was getting the family out first that mattered. When the fire trucks arrived, the fire soon was put out, and injured bodies were taken away in ambulances, and everyone else was checked to make sure there were no injuries. It was all a blur for Letizia, the older family members discussing quietly amongst themselves, and what happened next no one could have seen coming. Many were lost in the fire. Letizia lost their mom, but also 2 brothers, their one large family now much smaller, along with a few aunts and uncles, and worse of all, a few younger cousins that just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. It was a tragedy for the business and or the family, with no clear way to recover, and the sunshine of the family, Letizia, couldn't shine bright enough to cheer people up, causing the sun to be covered by dark clouds and a depressive gloom to fall over everyone.
Things never recovered from the incident. It was later revealed that one of the family members got mixed up in the mob and they had it out for their family as they intentionally caused the gas explosion, yet, there was nothing they could do about it. The police forces tried but, it was a slow success, and not enough to make up for the losses that were had. The family tried to rebuild, and Letizia tried to smile, but there was no hope. Years went by as the business was built again, and the tight-knit family wasn't as close, everyone blaming everyone else. Letizia only wanted everyone to get along again, but no one would listen, and soon, they began to shut out their own family too, entering a rebellious phase in high school, not helping the family out, and spending nights partying late. They thought this was life, until late junior year, when their dad soon died from a "freak car crash" (it was the mob again) when working late at the restaurant, also the business owner. Once again, the family was lost, but never for long as finally, Letizia, and her 2 brothers took over the business and reached out to the cousins, taking over the jobs their aunts and uncles once had, and the family, became close once more. Letizia especially took a lot of the weight, skipping out on college to work full time in the restaurant and becoming the head chef of the kitchen, other cousins married and had their own children, even their own brother, and Letizia was the one to begin to teach then the recipes, and even going as far to actually write them down for once. Things were beginning to look up, and returning to something more familiar.
However, things never change, and history repeats itself, and Letizia is working late preparing for the next day when a crash comes from the dining area. With a knife in hand, they went to investigate to come face to face with 2 burly men, guns in hands, leather jackets, loose button-down shirts, hair slicked back, and sunglasses covering their faces. Letizia wasn't going to let them ruin things when good things were beginning to happen again. So, they did what their family in the past didn't or couldn't do. Fight back. Shortly afterward, bloodied, and hurt, but victorious, their phone buzzed and that's when they saw an app was installed. Once looking at it, they had looked at the mob members they barely won against and it only made sense. They had to become stronger, and a wish could go a long way to protect their family, so, they clicked yes and left the restaurant.

    Antonio and Giovanni
These are her two (surviving) older brothers who are both overprotective of Letizia. They are the two co-owners of the family business and the three have a decently close relationship with one another. While it might seem the three scream and shout and yell at each other all the time, you must believe them when they say its because they care for each other and love each other. They also respect Letizia's privacy (being AFAB) and while they might keep some things from their brothers (like being a flower) they don't mind.

Despite her short stature of 156cm, Chione can make an intimidating figure. She usually dresses in all black with heavy combat boots. On warm days she wears a tank top, opting to toss on a leather jacket over it when the weather grows cold. Her skin is marked with a small assortment of scars. One scar dips down from her hairline above her left eyebrow, and the skin on her left shoulder is discolored from a burn she recieved when she was 12. She has several tattoos on her chest, right bicep, back, and torso- mostly in places she can hide them from her step-father. Her favorite is the piece on her back, depicting a winged scarab with the eye of horus above it.
Having dealt with adults that either failed her or mistreated her from a young age, Chione is hesitant to trust others. This is especially true of older adults and parental figures. Between her mother's physical abuse and neglect, her step-father's controlling nature, and the failure of other adults to step in to help her she has long since given up relying on other people and is stubbornly self-sufficient, perhaps to a fault.
What she perceives as her own weakness makes her feel ashamed and so she maintains a strong facade in front of others, refusing to let anyone see her cry or falter. Insults and threats have become old hat to her by now and have little effect on her, but she has a weak spot for compliments and will melt like butter upon receiving one. She is also a sucker for sweets, which make an excellent bribe when somebody wants to win her over.
Because freedom to be oneself is so important to Chione, she can be tactless at the best of times and brutal at the worst. She doesn't mince her words or bite her tongue even if the situation may call for it. She doesn't do it out of malice, but rather feels that it wouldn't be respectful to herself or the person she's talking to if she weren't straightforward and honest with them.

Chione's father was a disgraced professor who vanished from she and her mother’s life when she was two years old. Because her mother, who had never held down a job in her life, had been relying entirely on child support from him they were left penniless. They got by as they could on food stamps and welfare, but food was tight and Chione’s needs always came second to those of her mother. Food only became tighter once her mother realized the cashier at their local gas station would sell her cigarettes in exchange for her food stamps.
When Chione was thirteen their lives took a major turn. Her mother began dating a wealthy older man, and it wasn’t long before they moved in with him. They no longer starved, and for a time Chione believed that things would be better in their new home. Even her mother’s attitude took a turn- not loving or motherly in any way, but at least she wasn’t throwing beer bottles at her head. However, her new step-father was very strict with Chione and the way she represented their new family. She was secluded at home most of the time and did her schooling through an online private school, going out only when her parents took her out. The only people she was allowed to associate with were wealthy and snobby, in no way the type of people Chione enjoyed being around and so she chose to be alone.
The day she turned eighteen, freedom felt like it was on the horizon for Chione. She had grand dreams for what she would do now that she was an adult, no longer bound to her parents. But her step-father wouldn’t let her out from underneath his thumb so easily, and Chione quickly found out just how far he would go to uphold his control over her. He called in favors to have her denied at every university she applied for and bought a house in her name a block away from his own, telling her he would only pay the bills so long as she behaved.
Left alone in her overwhelming large, overwhelming empty new cage Chione could think of nothing else to do but cry. Wet tears that slowly grew heavy, pushing past her eyelid in thick streams of black ooze. The overbearing weight of her emotions attracted the negative energies that transformed her into a Fragment. Fortunately a nearby Flower called Tiger Lily was quick to respond to the threat of Chione’s fragmented self and she was freed from her monstrous transformation before anyone was hurt. When she awoke to find Conor Burke raiding her fridge a new app had installed itself on her phone, one that promised a wish in exchange for five years of service.
With her wish Chione would become rich beyond her wildest dreams, rich enough to pay off her house a thousand times over, and nobody would chain her down ever again.
//SUPERSEDE For a little while Chione played lead guitar and sang in a punk band, until her step-father found out and the band was forced to disband.
//ESCAPE ROUTE Chione stashed a rope in the gutters on the roof by her bedroom window to sneak out at night. Even though she lives alone now, she still has an escape rope outside her bedroom window so her step-father doesn't see her leaving past curfew on the Ring doorbell camera.
//RACOON PAL When she was in middle school Chione befriended a racoon that lived in the dumpster behind a Dunkin' Donuts. She was the only person able to raid that dumpster for surplus donuts without bite marks.
//DAD Even though she can't remember her dad and she holds a grudge against him for leaving, Chione still wears the lotus necklace he gave her when she was a baby.
    YOUSSEF EL SHERIF
Chione's Father, who vanished from her life when she was two years old. She doesn't have any memories of him, and hasn't heard from him in sixteen years.
"When I was little I asked my mom about my dad. She said he was a good-for-nothing who disappeared with all her money and left her with a useless brat. I don't know how much of what she said is true, but any guy who leaves his kid with a woman like her can't be any good."
    YASMINE FARHAT
Chione's abusive mother. She cares only about herself and treats Chione like a pest. Since Chione moved out of their house, she and her mother have had little to no contact.
"If she weren't so lazy, she would have had a career in acting- or politics. She bullshits with the best of them."
    OSCAR NORWOOD
Chione's step-father keeps a tight leash on her, doing what he can to maintain her dependence on him. He is very particular about what Chione can do, when, and with whom. He is incapable of having children of his own.
"Don't get me wrong, being rich was a big step-up from stealing breakfast from the dumpster behind Dunkin' Donuts- but the guy's not any better than my mom. Just more subtle, and keeps a tighter leash."
    CONOR BURKE | TIGER LILY
He was the first person outside of her family that Chione had been able to build a relationship with in a long time and was present when she joined the Flower Program. He is a fellow Flower who defeated Chione when she became a Fragment, meeting up with her a few days later to explain things to her properly.
"Well, if it weren't for him I might still be some freaky monster and I could have really hurt someone so... he's a pretty good guy I guess. Don't tell him I said that though, dude has a big enough ego already and he'll never let me live it down."

There was nothing special about the way Anthony dressed. He won’t have a problem blending in with the others as they made their way to the central business district of the city. He’s usually seen sitting in a convenience store during his break, wearing a dress shirt with matching black pants and shoes that’s been with him since college. He didn’t particularly care about how he appeared to others, keeping his hair short for convenience rather than style. Another thing that one might notice when meeting him was the customary eyebags that came with being an office worker. On the rare moments where he’s not going to the office, he prefers the comfort of a plain shirt and shorts at home. Aside from that, he had a couple of nice button-down shirts in the off chance that he’s meeting a friend outside.
Appearing as absent-minded most of the time, Anthony would often daydream even in the middle of an important meeting or event. His tendency to not answer once he’s in the middle of a scenario in his head may appear as snobbish to some people, but it's simply because he’s not present enough to hold a conversation. Once you get the chance to talk to him however, you’ll quickly find that he’s passionate, especially on topics he’s interested in.

One of only times where Anthony is focused is when a fragment was in front of him. People who’ve fought along with him might say that he’s a little... excitable, which was unexpected as he was usually quiet and reserved outside of missions. In the battlefield, he could be heard chuckling and a little reckless, as he believes that he’s invincible like in his fantasies. The weight of the situation, where the fragments may end his life, didn’t seem to register in his head as victory was the only outcome. This of course, results in multiple injuries, but Anthony believes that the pain just proves that this was real.

Anthony grew up in a small town with an even smaller family, with him being an only child. Despite that, he was never alone as he didn’t have problem getting along with the other children of the neighborhood. As a child, Anthony was often described as adventurous. He led expeditions through haunted mansions—the old shed behind the school, and he was the first one to face the monster at the other side of the wall—their neighbor's dog. His imagination was his best friend, and he went on a different adventure every single day.

Going into high school, Anthony naturally grew out of it and he put his focus on other matters such as getting good grades and figuring things out like most adolescents. However, it’s the same time where he started to feel like something was wrong. It wasn’t as obvious as putting on a shoe on the wrong foot or wearing a shirt the opposite way. It was a small crack on a vase filled with water, almost trivial but water still seeps through. Anthony dismissed it as anxiety of starting a new chapter of his life.

Anthony blinked and he was nearing the final semester of college. He would’ve thought that he’d feel... happier because of the fact. He rationalized that the reason was because it was to be expected. He attended every class and spent countless hours studying, so it was only natural that he’d graduate. It was akin to a mathematical equation, almost. This was the only outcome of his life. Thus, he went on the stage, gave a firm handshake to the dean, and accepted his diploma with a polite smile. The crowd’s applause drowned out everything else.

Currently, Anthony works in an advertising agency as an accountant. After his graduation, he was immediately scouted by the company. He imagined that getting a job would change things, but there seemed to be an ongoing theme of disappointment in his life. In the moments where Anthony’s head was clear of distractions, that creeping feeling of wrongness resurfaced. While it was negligible at first, he would now describe it as a monster of glutton—it’s been a while since he’d thought of monsters and whatnot. The idea brought a small smile to his face. It was as if the universe itself was whispering in his ear, telling him to leave this life and never look back. Anthony scoffed at the thought. He got a stable job that pays well, and his future was set to be successful.

One day, the dam seemingly broke. Anthony just finished his tasks for the day and there were a couple of hours left before they were allowed to leave. With nothing else to do, his head was once again plagued with the glutton. Instead of just putting up with it however, Anthony’s mind wandered. Instead of the monster being trapped inside his head, it had a physical form, and it was in front of him. All teeth and claws, making Anthony feel a sense of déjà vu.

Anthony stood still; looking up until his neck ached in protest just to see the head of the monster that’s slowly marching towards him. Each step, the ground quaked, vibration travelling through his body before settling as a shiver down his spine. His heart soared and plunged, threatened to burst out of his chest and unmoving. Whether it was because of fear or excitement, it didn’t matter as it still flooded his veins with adrenaline. It was then that he had another realization. The constant feeling of wrongness, the emptiness that threatened to swallow him whole. It was the lack of fulfilment. Now that he’s standing in front of the beast, everything clicked into place. This is it. This is what he was made for. What he was meant to do. The monster took another step and Robert followed. The ground once again shook, but the rest was silent. Nonetheless, he could still feel the suspense, the jitter of the world as it waited his next move with bathed breath. The anticipation. The silence that came before the storm, before the universe bursts into life. Then there was—

The sound of his phone vibrating took him out of his daydream. His breath was heavy, pupils dilated from the sheer excitement he was feeling. He looked at his phone to see that his alarm went off, signaling that work hours just ended. He took a moment to compose himself before resting his head on the table. He didn’t remember the last time he felt like this. It was a quick reprieve to the monotonous cycle that his life had been on. Still, the left side of his brain still rationalized that it was just fantasy. He still had to go back to real life, and it made it much more unbearable. With a heavy heart, Anthony prepared to leave before getting interrupted by his phone once again. He reached for it to check if he got a message, only to be greeted by a notification for an app called ‘Boquet’ that he didn’t remember installing. He quickly opened it with one quick tap only to be greeted by a 5-year contract and a world that he’s been dreaming of since he was a child.

While other people may hesitate, something inside Anthony urged him to accept. It was the same voice he’d been hearing lately, a shout instead of a whisper. As quick as the contract appeared, Anthony pressed the ‘accept’ button.
OCCUPATION: Anthony currently works as an accountant in an Advertising Company. He's currently debating on resigning to focus on his duties as a flower. Also, maybe working at a cafe or a flower shop would be a nice change of pace

ORIENTATION: Anthony didn't really have the time for romantic relationships. He finds male and female attractive so he assumes he's Bisexual

HOBBIES: When not busy with work, you can usually find Anthony playing games on his phone. He's trying to save up for a desktop, maybe even a gaming laptop.

A tall, slender individual with eyes like a siren and a grin like a Cheshire Cat, Gunay has a way with attracting people's attention despite their limited resources. They gravitate towards form-fitting and revealing clothes such as unbuttoned dress shirts, low cuts, turtlenecks, and corsets on special ocassions.
Gunay is a flirtatious trickster with many acquaintances but very few friends. They thrive off of playful banter and eliciting reactions from others, positive or negative. However, it's important to remember that while Gunay's teasing may be provocative, it is primarily rooted in fun and should not be mistaken for anything more than an engaging social interaction. Whether some people can keep that information in mind or not is up to them.
Despite their carefree and reckless behavior, Gunay possesses an uncanny ability to read people. They have a keen eye for observing the emotions and motivations of others, often picking up on subtle cues that most people might overlook. On one hand, it allows Gunay to connect with people on a deeper level and understand their needs and desires with remarkable accuracy. But on the other hand, it would make their emotional outbursts more scathing, as they're quick to expose vulnerabilities or manipulate situations to their advantage. They truly never wanted to make enemies out of anyone, but their pride hinders their ability to apologize properly.
Underneath the bravado lies a deep-seated fear of abandonment and need for approval. Because of this, they would constantly put up a front around their peers, even forcing themself like things or behave in situations that make them uncomfortable. Ironically, this also leads to them cutting others out of their lives without any closure, believing that it's greater to leave than to get left behind. Perhaps it's their desire for safety that led them to self-sabotage their relationships and prospects, as well as move from place to place due to not having a fixed home.

Günay Yıldız (or Gunay Yildiz in the anglicized from) isn't their birth name. Nor is Tiger Tail City anywhere close to where they originally lived.
They were in hiding after they eloped with their childhood sweetheart. Earning a full scholarship at a prestigious university, their boyfriend had a chance to escape his abusive home and promised to rescue Gunay as soon as they both graduate high school. It was the opportunity of a lifetime- they could finally live their truth without the constraints of the their previous circumstances. So the couple snuck out to register their marriage, blocked their families' contact information, and ran off to the university on the same day. The first few months were bliss, as the tiny studio they rented became their sanctuary. But they soon realized that their new life was not as idyllic as they imagined.
The weight of their husband's abusive upbringing, academic pressure, and financial burdens had taken a toll on his already fragile mental health. Meanwhile, Gunay grew increasingly frustrated by the charade they were forced to maintain around their husband's wealthy classmates, the opposite situation they wanted when they first agreed to elope. They also developed an inferiority complex due to their inability to enroll in college, forcing them to put their own dreams and aspirations on hold. Once playful wisecracks turned into a torrent of of biting sarcasm, digging into each other's insecurities like voracious wolves tearing at wounded prey. Their husband's anger ultimately boiled over when an argument escalated into a violent confrontation after accusing Gunay of cheating with one of those classmates.
It was only a matter of time before the couple parted ways after six years of being together. Neither of them had anything substantial and Gunay would rather move out as soon as possible, so the legal proceedings only lasted three months. As for emotional impact... well, Gunay was in a haze throughout the entire ordeal, trying to shield themselves from the painful memories. With both their ex's ring holder necklace and their engagement ring on hand, they decided to end it like how it started: they ran. They ran aimlessly to the furthest place they can reach, used any transportation they could board with their remaining savings, until they finally reached Tiger Tail City.
Coming into the metropolis as a divorcee with nothing to their name, Gunay knew having a fresh start wouldn't be easy. However, they realized they forgot who they were what the final straw was. They were desired. Now that they're technically free to do whatever they want, Gunay held a part-time job and started dancing in nightclubs, where they were able to mooch off of new friends and/or admirers. Are they back at square one in terms of setting boundaries? Probably. But they're willing to withstand in as long as they have their bare necessities and and a comfy bed to sleep on.
The day that the Flower Program came to Gunay's life was also one of those instances. Gunay shared a communal home with a group of college and high school students, who either couldn't afford to dorm or ran away from home. One night, they were the only one awake while everyone else was sleeping. Scrolling through their phone, Gunay noticed an app they had never downloaded before. That's strange, had their memory gotten worse or did one of their friends do it on their behalf? They were amused by the little mini-comic at the intro and was ready to agree to the terms and conditions, thinking it was some sort of game... except the terms and conditions weren't the only ones that were included, but also a five-year contract and a wish.
Why are they the one given an opportunity to be a magician? They would be the last person to risk their life, let alone do it continuously for half a decade. But then again, the contract seems dead serious about what it could offer, not just promising something that's not guaranteed. If this one wish can make up for all the years they've wasted, they'll take it.
    ...
    ...
Gunay couldn't run away any longer.
    Occupation
Gunay recently quit their part-time job as a restaurant waiter in favor of working at In The Garden cafe. They had other minimum wage work prior to their divorce, but they're never able to last more than a few months.
    Astronomy
They used to want to be a stellar astronomer, having been invested in celestial bodies and constellations ever since they were a child. But because of family pressure, long periods of training, lack of scholoarships, and competitiveness in the market, Gunay settled with supporting their (ex)husband. Their knowledge in math and physics became rusty, but they still remember detailed trivia.
    Flaneur
Gunay is often wandering around ever nook and cranny of the city, mostly fraternizing with street vendors and buskers.

She primarily wears simple, dark boyish clothing. She enjoys wearing a black leather jacket along with anything loose-fitting. She sometimes adds a few little metal pins to her jacket.
Her faceclaim is Seele Vollerei and her voiceclaim is Christine Marine Cabanos.
Nabi is hardworking and kind. She wants whats best for others and would give as much as she can to make them happy- not out of a felt obligation, but because doing so makes her happy as well. She genuinely does her best at any job given to her and isn't one to slack off. She stays optimistic, always looking on the bright side of things.
She's a tad gullible and takes words at face value. She isn't good at reading the room or understanding sarcasm, so she prefers people- and herself- to say what they truly think. She has faith in others and believes that they are genuine when speaking to her. She hates being tricked.
Nabi typically comes off as aloof. Her voice is monotonous, her expression rarely changes, and her words are blunt. Despite her optimism, she doesn't sugarcoat her thoughts for others. She isn't particularly outgoing; she prefers to keep to herself. Her intent is often friendly and kind, but due to her nature she often gets seen as the opposite.

Nabi doesn’t remember much of her past. Even fairly recent events seem to have several gaps in them. The first thing she remembers is waking up in a cold, empty hospital room in the middle of winter and wandering off to her home- almost as if the place had a meaning to her back then. The people around her also seem to be confused from time to time- as though they too have forgotten something important. These people- who claim to be Nabi's family- say that Nabi was on the brink of death, but recently got better as though she was never sick at all. Although Nabi barely remembers them, they treat her as an entirely different person who they love and care for. Nabi wishes to repay back their kindness, and she hopes to one day remember them as they do her.
A few months ago, Nabi saw the flower app appear on her phone. Out of curiousity, she read the terms and conditions carefully and clicked accept. Afterwards, she learned the ways of being a flower rather quickly, and started working at the Garden Cafe. She was first hired as a waitress, but was quickly moved to be a baker after a few complaints.

    Mariana Pacific Mirror
(copied from Autumn) It was quite the story. Mariana would then, days later, send Nabi a freshly baked batch of cookies to make up for it.So therein began the cycle. Nabi would feel obligated to send a gift back, and try to help Mariana with something. She would end up getting hurt in some way, and Mari would send a gift her way. Then Nabi would send one back. Repeat.

Rust-colored hair, seafoam green eyes, and a faint smattering of freckles along the bridge of his nose present Felix as a rather stereotypical individual of Irish descent unlike his siblings who take more after their Polish father. Opting for a more relaxed and casual look, he isn’t one to stuff his wardrobe with ostentatious attire and has a similar lack in preference for prim and proper styles. “Effortless” most aptly describes his manner of dress, yet a closer look makes it evident that he is surprisingly fastidious. His shirts are always neatly ironed, and any accessories are simple but carefully coordinated with the rest of his attire. The sole outlier to this casual yet neat appearance are the bandages and pain relief patches he frequently sports, but he swears on his honor that someone accidentally hit him in the face with a door among other explanations.
Felix is a social chameleon, adapting to nearly any situation with practiced ease. His Embryology Professor sees him as a stern-faced student. The supervisor of his final semester of clinicals in undergrad thinks of him as a friendly man with excellent bedside manner. Friends know him as the guy who begs for mercy when they dogpile shells on him in Mario Kart yet remains a good sport about it. Though wearing a mask to brush up on favorability is a common tactic in society, Felix takes it to an extreme. A high level of cognitive empathy and a strict upbringing drive him to carefully observe how someone perceives him before determining what is the best avenue to build a persona the opposite party is most receptive to. Few have managed to see past the cracks in his outer shell, yet even his resilience as an actor does not grant him immunity to a few Freudian slips. He crafts up a myriad of excuses to cover his mistakes as easily as he breathes, but spending enough time with him makes it easier to tell that perhaps those off-handed sarcastic remarks were his true thoughts all along.
Under his general role as a sociable and patient individual who tolerates a great range of offenses, Felix is very much an introvert at heart. Compared to the occasional parties his friends dragged him to during their earlier years of undergrad, he would’ve rather spent that time indoors with nothing but himself and his phone in hand. Were there enough time on his hands, he wouldn’t mind spending hours trawling through random rabbit holes and learning the trade secrets of foley artists, wilderness survival experts, and criminal profilers. They’re factoids inconsequential to his life in the grand scheme of things, but there’s something relaxing about getting lost in a sea of information completely unrelated to academia. Unfortunately, between juggling his social and academic obligations, he seldom finds himself with enough time to truly branch out and explore his interests.
Felix finds it difficult to relax even among the scant population of individuals aware of his family situation and inner musings. It isn’t a lack of trust, but years of molding himself into someone he isn’t in order to meet the various expectations thrust upon him have nurtured a habit whose roots grow deep. The sole aspect of himself that needs no urging to reveal itself is his odd wariness of doors. Even as a child, he seldom tripped over raised pavement and the like. However, he’s strangely accident prone when it comes to doors to the point where if he dares approach a door carelessly, there’s a ninety percent chance someone will open it from the other side and inadvertently smash it into his face.

Felix Sokolowski is a drab patchwork of ambitions whose pieces were contributed by everyone but himself. When they claimed everything they gave him was for his own good, he foolishly believed their words, not knowing he was being fed a slow-acting poison. He was left to pick up the pieces of his fractured self-worth, seeking what little autonomy still remained.
He recalls the time when his chest would swell with pride at his older brother and sister’s achievements. Whenever his father urged him to be as excellent as his siblings, the words “I’ll do my best” tasted sweet as they easily rolled off his tongue. He was docile and obedient, a child who didn’t shout late into the night and never tried to hide the crosses on his spelling tests. He liked solving math problems. He hated doing his summer reading assignments. But before the lofty individuals expecting nothing but perfection, none of that mattered.
“This was easy for Alex and Sharron.”
    “You’re hopeless.”
Words carelessly slipped from their lips, staining him with the fear of the unknown consequences of failing to rectify his mistakes. He couldn’t comprehend their definition of easy, but he knew better than to ask. Their silence told him all he needed to know, and he obediently sat down at his desk as he heard the lock on his door click into place from the outside. That night, he went to bed with his stomach twisting uncomfortably, but he couldn’t tell if it was due to hunger or the weight of their disappointment.
When he graduated elementary school with the high praises of his teachers, he was struck with a flash of foolish bravado. Surely, this time his parents would listen to what he had to say. However, when he asked if he could attend the same middle school as his friend, he was met with stares questioning who’d filled his head with brainless ideas. A week later he finally understood that in their eyes, their disappointing third born would only ever amount to a puppet or a ghost. He convinced himself that it was fine. After all, when he did as they instructed, things always seemed to work out for the better. So long as he suppressed his selfishness, the number of times he said the words “I’m sorry” decreased.
Irrespective of the lesson he learned, an unknown sense of panic always fought back against his obedience, growing in prominence as the years passed. All he wished for was a moment to stop to take a breath, to rest so that, for once, he could think with a clear mind. However, no matter how deep he dug his heels into the ground, time kept ticking onwards without a care for his growing helplessness. Each significant event in his life added to the pressure which stubbornly clung to his mind, until the Felix who once swore to pursue their definition of perfection reached his breaking point.
The day he was successfully enrolled into the prestigious high school his siblings had both attended, his mother celebrated the occasion by cooking his favorite comfort foods. He smiled gratefully, but he couldn’t help but wonder why it tasted like nothing.
    ===
    “Dear Mr. Sokolowski,
Congratulations! It is a great pleasure to inform you that the committee has reviewed your application and admitted you for Fall 2XXX.
This year’s review of Early Action applicants was an intensely selective process, and we took great care to…”
The crisp parchment fell from his shaking hand, hypnotically swinging back-and-forth until it softly slid to a stop upon lacquered mahogany. Seafoam green eyes remained transfixed upon the letter, but they were devoid of the triumphant elation expected of such a joyous occasion. During a moment where most hopeful applicants found themselves breathing easy, he felt that horrifying weight which had settled upon his chest so many years ago tighten its vicious grip. It was another step ticked off of the checklist whose items were dictated by everyone except the subject in question. Another four years of following the plot someone else had written for him.
When his family congratulated him for a job well done, he drew a foolish smile upon his obedient mask. Swallow down those unspeakable words. Lock away your complaints. Nothing they give you is poisonous. If something is unpalatable, it’s a problem with you and not them.
He abided by those ironclad rules for eighteen years. Then, a mere month into his first semester away from his family’s watchful gaze, he finally bent under the pressure. It was a day like any other: slightly cloudy, comfortably cool, and full of birdsong. The previous day hadn’t presented any profound revelations, and the morning alarm still rang at 6:59AM on the dot. The only difference was that when he opened his eyes, he didn’t immediately get up to gather up his toiletries and head off to the communal bathroom. He just gazed blankly at the sterile, white ceiling. And stared. And stared.
On the days he couldn’t bring himself to crawl his way out of bed, he skipped classes. On the nights when his thoughts became unbearably noisy, he accepted the invitations of the acquaintances who enthusiastically pulled him away for a night of drinking. His facade of a picture perfect honors student rapidly fell apart, at times growing irascible enough to get involved in fights. However, whenever those alarmingly low numbers stared him down from their place behind a computer screen, his sense of self-loathing only grew.
    “You should see a therapist.”
Those words first came from one of the few people he could consider a close friend, someone he associated with past the occasional polite exchange over text. The advice was sudden but not spoken lightly. However, it was a piece of advice he easily dismissed. Sure, he’d run into a bit of a rough patch, but his entire past, present, and future were otherwise perfect. Something about Akira’s expression told him he wasn’t quite convinced, but he didn’t press him any further.
It was only when his advisor provided him with the same suggestion at the end of the term that the concept became a consideration. However, the nails that dug harshly into his shoulder when he dared utter such a preposterous proposition made it crystal clear that the mere thought was a mistake.
“You’re not crazy,” his mother hissed. “Have I ever done anything wrong while raising you?”
All he could do was nod along, laughing it off as if he’d simply told her a poorly-worded joke. What else could he do? He wanted to run, but if he were to be cast aside by his only family, where would he go?
He tried to play it off, yet his parents began to eye him with suspicion. They scrutinized him for the smallest of defects, scolding him harshly whenever he accidentally let slip a hint of his dissatisfaction. Even a trace of weariness on his face would drive his mother into hysterics, crying that she didn’t want him to think of her as a terrible mother when she was only being strict for his own good. Each time he reassured her, stating that he simply hadn’t gotten a good night’s sleep. Fortunately, she never noticed that his smile didn’t meet his eyes. So long as he continued to pretend, he could continue his peaceful life in that household.
Thus, he busied himself with working hard to perfect his grades in a school he never wanted to attend. He scurried around currying favor during his classes and clinicals in a nursing major he could care less about. He sacrificed sleep for the sake of scoring well on an admissions exam that would determine whether or not he’d be accepted into the medschool his father had picked out for him.
The day he received his score in his sophomore year was the same day a strange message caught his attention. If he were being honest, he had been so out of it that day that he didn’t even recall reading the terms and conditions much less pressing “YES”. Twice. Does he regret it? Absolutely. Fortunately, three years is a long time to change someone’s mind. Not that much has changed. At the end of the day, he’s still the same man whose smile never changes even when he’s angry, and the same boy who can’t bring himself to tell his family that he really couldn’t care less about becoming a doctor. Though if he did have to state one difference, three years of fighting strange monsters despite not clearly recalling giving consent is enough to make even the most patient souls a smidge more spiteful.
    occupation
Has a RN license but is currently a first year student in med school due to a rather strongly worded warning as to how “disappointed” his family would be if he took a gap year.
    occupational hazard
Carries a CPR mask on his keyring.
    the ocean
When he was younger, someone once told him he should shout out his worries to the sea if he has no one to talk to. Long story short, it didn’t work. He also received some odd looks from a stranger walking along the shoreline when he thought he’d been alone.
    pets
As a child, he frequently asked his parents for a cat. When his cousin had to rehome her roborovski hamster, his mother promised him they’d allow him to keep a cat if he showed he was responsible enough to raise the hamster for at least two years. What they didn’t tell him was that the roborovski was already two years old at the time, so he had to say his farewells to the small creature he’d unexpectedly gotten attached to after a brief year. He’s never kept a pet since.
    artistically challenged
The photos on his phone are taken skillfully, so people are often surprised at his pitiful attempts at drawing. If he tries to draw a bear, you’ll most likely think he’s drawing a pig.

Based off appearance alone, many consider Akira to be an extremely intimidating person, and easy to see exactly why that is. With a height of 6'3, and his muscular physique, most people are scared to approach the man. And his severe case of resting bitch face certainly doesn't help him seem any more friendly. When it comes to clothing, Akira tends to stay on the simple side of things like plain shirts and sweatpants, things that don't draw too much attention to himself.
In truth, Akira is a very quiet, and caring individual, who tries his absolute hardest to help the people around him, even if they don't particularly enjoy Akira's company. The young man has very few friends, but those he does call friends, he is extremely loyal to, and would easily lay down his life in order to save them. His loyalty is fierce, but he is also extremely perceptive, and easily can read the intentions of people, making him hard to manipulate for one's own gain. He's not one who enjoys using violence, but he also has no issue defending himself, or someone he cares about, if the situation calls for it.

"Akira, remember that you only get one one life...make sure that you spend it doing something that you love."
These were the last words Akira's father, Ritsu Sumeragi had said to him, before he took his life the next day. Speculation began to form behind the reason Akira's father took his own life, but those close to him knew that it was the toxic work place culture of japan that had finally broken the man into making the worse decision possible. Akira's family was broken, consumed by grief, but his mother knew that they simply couldn't stay where they were, so she made the decision to move out of the apartment both Akira and his older brother Hanzo grew up in Tokyo, and moved them to Ōkura, a small village where her parents lived.
Akira and Hanzo protested the move, wanting to stay in Tokyo where all of their friends were, but the decision was final. A month after the death of Ritsu, the Sumeragi family would move out to Ōkura, in a small house not to far from Akira's grandparents. Going from the big city, to a quant village like Ōkura was a huge shift, one that was hard for Akira and Hanzo at first. But as they grew more familiar with the area, the brothers came to love the peaceful area, slowly moving on from the tragedy that was Ritsu's death. However, as they got better, it seemed like their mother only got worse and worse off.
It started with the drinking. At first, it was only a bottle or two to take the edge off after a long day of work. Soon, it would be common for her to come home and immediately start drinking, only stopping if she was forced to. Then, she started cooking food less and less, before she simply stopped cooking altogether, forcing Akira and Hanzo to rely on their grandparents to get a good meal. Then, when alcohol wasn't enough, Akira's mother turned to hitting them, ranging from slapping, to throwing empty bottles at them. At first, she only hit Hanzo, but once she felt that Akira was old enough, she started hitting him too. Throughout this unjustified abuse, Akira's mother would always blame their fathers death on them, something that cut Akira deep.
At it's worse, when Akira's mother did something truly heinous, she'd apologize, and cry profusely as she begged her children not to leave her like their father did. Akira and Hanzo wouldn't leave, and in turn, they're mother would get better, and things would become peaceful for a time. But this peace would only be temporary, and eventually, she'd become just as bad as she was before. It was a vicious cycle of peace and abuse, and it would stay like this for a long time.
It was Hanzo who grew tired of the constant abuse, and decided that he would be leaving, with his brother, over to his grandparents. While they were walking home from school he told Akira his rather simple plan: they'd secretly pack all the things that they could carry, and then in the dead of night, they'd sneak out the front door, and go to their grandparents, who would be waiting for them.
Akira was hesitant to follow the plan, but ultimately he knew that this was for the best. So when they got home, he quickly put as much of his precious belongings, and some clothes, all into his backpack. Then it was just a matter of waiting, until the sun went down, and the moon rose into the sky.
Hanzo quietly slid out of bed, and helped Akira put on his shoes quietly. The brothers quietly slipped out of the room, and wasted no time heading right for the front door.
    "Where are you going?"
Akira and Hanzo jumped back as their mother slammed the front door closed. Akira fell backwards, while Hanzo stood his ground. "We're leaving, you're barely a functioning parent! You don't cook anymore, you barely wash your own clothes, hell, all you do is just drink, and yell at us!" Hanzo yelled. "So I'm going to Grannies, and I'm taking Akira with me! They've basically been taking care of us this whole time, so not much is really gonna change." Hanzo finished, reaching for the door once more. Before he could even touch the nob, Hanzo would get dragged away from the door by his hair, kicking and yelling for his mother to let him go.
"You just want to leave me, just like your father left us, how can you be so selfish Hanzo!" Their mother yelled, pulling out a box cutter from her pocket a few moments after.
"Akira, get outta here! get up and RUN! " Hanzo yelled as he struggled against the grip of their mother.
Akira was frozen in place, his legs refusing to budge. But, as scared as the young boy was, the fear of losing his brother was greater, thus causing Akira to charge at his mother. As he approached, Akira's mother swung her box cutter at the boy, cutting the corner of his mouth. The attack didn't stop him from grabbing the crazy ladies hand, and biting down on it as hard as he could, loosening her grip enough for Hanzo to free himself.
The boys ran to their grandparents, who were waiting for their arrival. When they saw the cut on Akira's face, and how ruffled up Hanzo was, they immediately notified the police about what had happened. By the time the morning sun rose into the sky, Akira's mother had been arrested, and before the week was over, she was admitted into a mental hospital for her own safety. The boys ended up in their grandparents custody, and slowly, they returned to their regular schedule. But something changed within Akira, unlike the death of his father, which he eventually was able to move on from, the events that had occurred with his mother left scars that refused to heal or fade. It followed him like a plague, causing him to drift towards isolating himself from his remaining family. At first, his grandparents tried to stay close with Akira, but eventually they gave up, and let him do whatever he liked to, so long as it wasn't dangerous. Hanzo, on the other hand, stayed close to Akira, always keeping his little brother company even if his company wasn't wanted.
Hanzo dropped out of school as soon as possible, and choose to start working wherever he could, eventually landing a stable job in Yamagata as a construction worker when he turned 19. Akira continued to go to school, and relied on his brother to get to and from Highschool. The brothers fell into a regular routine, and things were exceedingly normal for Akira, he never skipped class, got good grades, and even participated in a few clubs despite his anti-social nature.
One day, as Akira waited for his brother to pull up to his highschool, he thought about what he wanted to do for the future, after highschool. He put the thought on hold when his brother pulled up, and opened the door to enter the passanger side of his brothers rusty pick up truck his brother used to get around. "Yo, gimme a sec, Imma check my tires, think I might have rolled on a nail or something." Hanzo explained. Akira wasn't so focused on what his brother was telling him though, but was more focused on the black bag that was in the passenger seat. The bag was heavy, and upon opening it, found bricks upon bricks of money. He silently zipped the bag up, and put it on the floor of the truck, sitting in the passenger seat and buckling up. After a few moments, Hanzo got back into the driver seat, and started to drive, focusing on the road as he usually did.
"Hanzo...what do you do for work again?" Akira asked, looking at the road ahead.
    "Huh? construction, wh-"
"I don't think construction workers make the kinda money you have in that bag." Akira interrupted.
Hanzo stayed silent for awhile, before pulling over to the side of the road, and parking the truck. "What I'm about to tell you, you can't tell grandma and grandpa." Hanzo prefaced. Akira nodded, and Hanzo let out a deep sigh. "Yakuza." were the only words that came out of his mouth.
Akira was astonished, and had as many questions as he had gotten answers. "you're a criminal!? Why would you do such a thing Hanzo?" he yelled.
"We needed the money Akira. Grandpa's single pension wasn't gonna cut it, especially since soon you're gonna be going to university soon." Hanzo explained. "I want you to go study abroad, be in a different environment, around different people from all over the world, you speak good English, so I know it'll be a breeze to adapt. Maybe, it'll help you finally heal from what happened all those years ago." Hanzo finished.
Akira was once again silent, this time stunned at the reasoning behind his brothers decision. Tears fell from his eyes, as he realized just how much Hanzo cared about him, enough to sacrifice his own dreams, to help Akira prosper.
Akira never fully questioned the activates his brother got up to, and in truth, he didn't want to know. He choose to take his brother's advice, and choose to study abroad in tiger tail city, Hanzo paying for all the expenses in full. Upon arriving, Akira fell right into the swing of things, mainly keeping to himself and focusing on school. Even though he wasn't quite social, he had to admit that Hanzo was right, being in a different environment did help quite a bit. But still, Akira wasn't free from his trauma, for no matter how much he filled his schedule, worked out, or even went out with his select few friends, memories of the past found their way to invade his mind, whether it be in his dreams, or when he was alone with nothing to do but think.
During Akira's final year, he felt his mental health sharply decline, due to the simple lack of purpose. He could see everyone around him talking about what they wanted to do in the future, about plans they had with other people, dreams that they wanted to achieve. In truth, Akira didn't know what his dream was, nor what he truly wanted to do in the future, and it scared him.
It was during this rough period when Akira found the bouquet app suddenly on his phone. At first, he was skeptical, as he didn't recall ever downloading the app himself, and became even more skeptical after reading the terms and agreements of the app. But a part of him bought into the fantasy, specifically for the promise of one wish, which he viewed as a way to finally rid himself of his past trauma. So, Akira accepted, and couldn't imagine how much his life would change from that moment onward.
    • Akira is currently holding an office job as an accountant, but he also tutors Japanese to highschoolers on the side.
    • Once his flower contract is up, Akira wishes to return to japan.
    • Akira has been regularly attending therapy online for 2 years, and is eternally grateful to his therapist.
    Felix
Akira is very fond of Felix, as he was one of the first friends he ever made when he came to tiger tail city. So when he found out that Felix was also a flower like himself, it gave him a sense of relief to be around a familiar face. Akira regularly cooks lunches for Felix, and reminds the young man that eating is not optional, nor is it secondary to studying.

As her codename suggests, the vain Desert Rose is an alluring beauty with an attractive figure of medium stature. Her flawless skin is evenly tanned, touched by the golden sunbeams of her homeland, and her heavenly amber pearls are reminiscent of the celestial sphere itself. She has long, silky dark brown hair that falls just above her waist in unbroken waves.
Zarina's preferred style of clothing is formal business attire, opting for smart suits with a strict palette that gives her a classy and sophisticated aura. On certain occasions, she can be seen captivating the crowds in stunning dresses that capture her elegance.
A wolf in sheep's clothing, Zarina is a multifaceted enigma even to other members of the Bouquet. She is a maestro of manipulation whose true motives are as inscrutable as her chimeric personality, beguiling others with a poised and amiable demeanour to conceal the cunning ophidian heart within. Few have witnessed her true, insane self... and for those who have, they are mindful to keep their lips sealed, often with fear.
On the battlefield, she is belligerent, maniacal, and frenzied, focused solely on exterminating her otherwordly enemies. She is without mercy, hellbent on siphoning the corrupt essence of every Fragment that crosses her path—in the hope that one day she will grow strong enough to defeat that thing that killed her mentor. Owing to this, fellow Flowers will avoid sparring with her, wary she might get carried away by her unusually violent inclination, often leaving Zarina to train alone. And while the solitude doesn't particularly perturb her, having become accustomed to it over the years, deep down, she covets true companionship. Although reluctant to admit it, she strongly desires to experience a real connection with someone. Something palpable.
Nevertheless, despite often resorting to unorthodox methods and subterfuge to achieve her goals, in truth, Zarina is a calculating individual serving the greater good, who is fiercely protective of her close friends and those she cherishes.

The Iravani family roots back centuries, hailing from a golden sea of sand to the east. Once a tight circle of assassins, their power, numbers, and influence swelled over the years, resulting in the birth of their vast criminal empire that profits from lucrative trade in arms and illegal substances. The clan is proud to operate under a strict matriarchal leadership where the women are taught the art of diplomacy and raised to become leaders. Meanwhile, the men are brutally trained in the art of war and cultivated into soldiers.
As the eldest daughter of Aya Iravani, the family's former matriarch, everyone expected Zarina to succeed her mother and rule the Iravani empire. Diligent, resourceful, and determined, her fate was almost certain. All that remained was for her to emerge the victor during the Rite of Ascension—a tradition performed every ten years to decide the next leader.
Much to the envy of her fellow female acolytes, Zarina showed a natural aptitude for leadership akin to her mother, with plenty of untapped, latent potential. The two were like kindred spirits. To defeat either of them in the rite was an unnerving task, but to face both at once was nigh impossible. Yet, where Zarina truly excelled above the rest of her competition, including Aya, was in her combat prowess. Unbeknownst to the others, she trained how to fight in secrecy under the tutelage of one of her male peers, Nasir, for whom she'd developed romantic ties. With these additional skills in her repertoire, it was no wonder Zarina was the favourite to win the upcoming ceremony.
However, just as victory seemed like it was about to be served to her on a golden plate... disaster struck.
At dawn on the fateful day the Rite of Ascension was set to take place, the unmistakable sound of the alarm bell reverberated across the château. Something terrible had happened. Aya had been killed. When the horrific news reached Zarina, she rushed to the courtyard where everyone had gathered, only to be surrounded by the other acolytes, their weapons drawn. The blame quickly hewed her to her knees, with the rest interpreting this act of treachery as a sick ploy to secure her succession. Those who she called her brothers and sisters in the days past turned on her in an instant, branding her with a new, scornful name: the Usurper.
Amidst the deluge of turmoil which erupted, the truth was but a mirage in a desert of lies.
Laden with unfounded guilt, the death of her mother shattered Zarina's heart and drove her to run away, ultimately leading her to abandon the clan and all that she had worked so hard to attain. The acolytes turned to Aya's husband, all of them twitching with anticipation, ready to avenge their leader. He knew his beloved daughter was innocent, but with the hoard of killers impatiently awaiting his orders, he had no choice. His final mercy to her was to delay the authorisation of her assassination for as long as possible so that Zarina could flee far enough away before the clan members inevitably hunted her down. Then, with a heart heavy with sorrow, Zarina's father finally sent his men after her, knowing the outcome.
Now a pariah running from her torn household, Zarina sought any clue that might lead her to the murderer. All the while, she was hunted by her former allies, continually forced to fight or die. The assassins of the Iravani clan were relentless, and they would not stop in their pursuit, not until all the air left their target's lungs. Killing even one was a difficult task, and Zarina narrowly escaped death several times over the span of months. This was the bloody price she accepted to pay, until she was tracked down by the one person she dreaded to face—her own father, bound by honour.
There in the rain, they circled each other. Both had guns strapped to their waist, yet they each tacitly drew traditional weapons instead. When they clashed, Zarina could tell from the dullness in his strikes that her father was holding back, and even though his face was soaked by the unruly weather, she could still discern the poignant tears marring his face. He didn't want to do this, but she felt far too betrayed, scared, and alone after all this time to stop. Zarina eventually overcame her magnanimous opponent, and with a single thrust of cold steel, the exile pierced her own father through the ribs.
A torrent of emotions overcame Zarina all at once, and though she begged for forgiveness, her father's dying words were that she had nothing to seek forgiveness for, and that he knew she was innocent all along. His only question to her was why she chose to run when she knew she wasn't responsible for what unfolded that day. He then warned her to leave the nation while she still had time, as the other acolytes would soon arrive. With that, he fell silent, passing on in the solace of his daughter's embrace.
Now, without maternal or paternal kinship, Zarina heeded her father's final words and decided to leave her homeland as a stowaway on a ship, her destination unknown. Some days and nights later, the ship docked, and Zarina disembarked to find herself in the unfamiliar setting of Tiger Tail City. She wasn't there long before she was greeted by the promise of a single wish by a mysterious app on her phone...
As suspicious as it seemed, Zarina had nothing else to lose, and if it was really true, this app could potentially offer her a miraculous chance at redemption, so she agreed to the terms. In the months that followed, Zarina joined the Bouquet and became a Flower, it was there in the Bouquet shop, she met Sonia, a senior Russian Flower. The two shared similarities and hit it off in no time, becoming close friends. Sonia helped Zarina get settled into her new home, and served as a mentor figure, teaching her everything she needed to know about being a Flower and Fragments.
But like those in the past, in time, Zarina would lose those she held dear. It was a wicked curse that clung to her like an inescapable shadow. Her blissful friendship was cut short the day an extremely powerful Fragment attacked. They were unprepared, and Zarina was still far too inexperienced to deal with a threat of this magnitude. In the end, Sonia died trying to save her, and even when reinforcements arrived, too late, they still weren't enough to defeat the Fragment, which managed to escape.
The death of her friend now fuels Zarina's burning hatred for Fragments, using her terrifying powers to grow stronger so that one day she can hunt down and destroy the monster that took away her friend.
    occupation
In spite of her criminal background, Zarina is a keen academic studying life sciences at university. She is currently in her final year.
    Vanity
Student life can be rough, especially on one's wallet. Having lost access to her family's wealth, Zarina earns a living as a model, capitalizing on her beauty. Work for her is rather flexible, and she has plenty of time to do other things she enjoys between shoots, including hunting Fragments.
    Family
While both her mother and father are now dead, Zarina still has one younger sibling who is still alive. The two have not been in contact since Zarina fled from her clan.
    Martial Arts
Albeit not custom for the women of the Iravani clan to be trained how to fight, Zarina once had a crush on an acolyte and would observe him while he practised. Eventually, he took notice, and the two started to spend more time together. He taught her the way of the fist as well as how to wield several different weapons, though she was most proficient with a polearm.

With a perfected posture that defied those who sought to look down on her, Xia stood tall at 175 cm — her commanding height accompanied by a presence that exuded caution. There was an unmistakable air of wariness that surrounded her, a silent declaration that she was not to be underestimated despite her approachable demeanor. Kind eyes and an inviting smile can be deceiving — she was not a merciful woman.

"Exquisitely accessorized" would aptly describe Xia. Adorning herself with multiple piercings on both ears and even her tongue, she used fashion as a canvas for self-expression, a realm where words might fall short. These accessories were once her sister's jewelry, repurposed to create something uniquely her own and yet still reminiscent. They were precious to her, and she cherished showing them off.
Kind, approachable, and patient — Xia possessed an inviting personality that effortlessly put hearts at ease. Despite being a woman of few words, her demeanor spoke volumes of compassion, welcoming those around her with a readiness to extend a helping hand. Xia's innate generosity and willingness to assist marked her a comforting presence for those in need. But something about her was always..."off". Upon closer inspection, her eyes had a certain glossiness to them, as if she were entirely not present in the moment.

For those who truly knew Xia, the outward persona of kindness and warmth was nothing more than a carefully constructed facade, one she had borrowed from her sister. She was no saint. No, she harbored a heart muddied with revenge. The all-consuming hatred within her eclipsed any traces of kindness she might have once possessed. She existed as little more than a frustrated, frightened shell of her former self.

To those who truly understood her, Xia was no longer capable of genuine smiles, hearty laughter, or genuine interest. How could she, when her sister's story remained unresolved? Happiness eluded her until she could avenge her sister, a driving force that overshadowed any semblance of joy in her life. Who was she? The question was no longer answerable — even by Xia.

Quiet was the household Xia grew up in, where the windows were never open and the birds never sang.
Quiet was the crying Xia did every night wondering why society's molds fit so few.
Quiet was the day Xia found her sister lifeless near the computer, her name inexplicably repeated in a gossip forum.

With a father whose commitment to work swiftly evolved into obsession, and a mother who put socializing ahead of raising her children, Xia was a child of neglect. Yet, it never seemed to matter to her, for she found solace in her older sister, Beiye - her source of support, her beacon of light.

To Xia, Beiye was like the sun. For the young girl whose exploration of the occult led to rejection and taunts from her classmates, even labeling her as 'freak', her sister stood by her side. Never once did Beiye distance herself. Instead, she embraced Xia whenever she cried from the ridicule, her arms as warm as the sunshine.

To Xia, Beiye was everything. She was the only one who made her feel safe. The only one she could be herself around. The only one she could freely explore and practice Taoism around, a path uncommon for children her age. Beiye was like a star in Xia’s eyes, so when her older sister decided to pursue a career as an idol, Xia became her first devoted fan. In a household where their parents displayed little interest in their endeavors, the sisters joined hand in hand to chase Beiye's dreams. Through countless nights, Xia's room echoed with the sounds of applause as she cheered for Beiye's dancing or enthusiastic chants of her sister's name during singing performances.

Eventually, after countless auditions, Beiye was accepted into a cutthroat idol competition. In fact, she wasn't just admitted; she excelled. She quickly made it to the finals, where Xia couldn't ignore a contestant who glanced at her sister with hateful eyes one too many times.

Soon, the unsettling pattern extended beyond mere glares. Each time Beiye triumphed in the show, a new malicious rumor emerged, initially harmless but quickly escalating. From insinuations about Beiye's success being solely due to her looks, the rumors morphed into an assault on her past—digging up the wounds of her unloving childhood and every academic setback. The narrative even shifted to portray her as a nobody who manipulated her way into the limelight.

However, the last rumor - the one that flickered through Beiye's last open screen - whispered that she had slept with a producer to secure her place on the show - complete with staged photos of a blurred girl.

Baseless claims and unfounded accusations took Xia’s sister away from her. And she knew exactly who did it. But that girl couldn’t have done it alone. No, the girl she perceived as the source of these rumors likely had backers. It wasn't a solo act; someone, with financial resources, orchestrated the staged photos, manipulated newspapers, and fueled the rapid spread of the damaging rumors. Revenge stung Xia’s dried eyes as she writhed.

Quiet was the only word Xia's mother scoffed as she cleared out her eldest daughter's room to replace it into a meaningless closet.

Only a notification on her phone broke her out of her trance. A wish, they promised. A list, she requested. All she needed was their names. She would handle the rest.
ACADEMIC LIFE: Xia treaded the path of an average student. She had ordinary grades and a graduation that mirrored the unremarkable. In the end, the prospect of college didn't beckon her.
WORK LIFE: As soon as Xia turned 18, her parents couldn't be more eager to usher her out of the house. Their enthusiasm reflected in the purchase of her own condo located cities away from them. Despite the monthly allowance they provided, Xia carved her own path by establishing a small business crafting incense. Local shops became outlets for her creations, allowing her to assert a measure of independence from her family. She currently holds onto the deposits made by her parents for emergencies.
MISC 1: Xia delved into the world of MMOs once, only to find herself overwhelmed. In response, she placed a talisman on the computer, deemed it a harbinger of demons, and never looked at it again.
MISC 2: Xia developed a love for black coffee after trying it at the Cafe once. Motivated by this newfound appreciation, she went as far as purchasing an espresso machine. However, she cannot figure out how to use it, and it sits on her kitchen counter untouched to this day.
