Falling Into The Sky
Roleplay Type(s)
This may well be constantly filling up with more characters as I finish working on them. Every character I intend to make on here will have appeared in some form of roleplay here first. Only OCs (Original Characters) I have made will appear here. No others.

So those who have not appeared yet will not appear until - well. Will not appear here until they appear in a thread. As such, some of the information you see here may also be incomplete.

"Why are they all ____?"

Because I want them to be. This is who I am - you have your preferences and I will have mine. What can I say, we all have our favourites.

Regardless! I hope this will slowly fill and show off what hard work I have made in the background. If you do not fully understand anything - I am fully capable of explaining should you want me to explain them.

With that out of the way... Read on!

Recent update (6/10/19 or 10/6/19) - Mega-update! I forgot to update this a while ago, so I'm updating it now with as many characters as I can, ever since April! In other words, as of the time I'm writing this, here comes... a lot of people - in the coming days!

I've also added Height, Weight, and Sexuality sections to each of them, as added details! Go take a look!

Oh yeah, and I removed the special attacks section, as some are not combat viable - strictly, that is. So those no longer exist, at least not listed!

Character number 1! And currently the proudest concept I've made to this day. Here's my master of magic and strings - a revered puppet master! Ladies and gentlemen, Shizuka Aishi.

Name: Shizuka Aishi

Species: Human

Nicknames/Titles: Strung-up Sorcerer

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Likes: Reading, magic, socialising

Dislikes: Outdoors, emptiness, conflict

Height: 5'4 (163 cm)

Weight: 58 kg

Sexuality: Heterosexual

Hobbies: Music (basically an orchestra with her puppets)

Occupation: Designer (clothing)

She mainly makes clothing for females - like herself.

Powers/Abilities: High-class magic, magical puppets

Her magic covers fire, water, air, and earth - as well as portals between locations and barriers. Those are the ones she uses the most.

Her puppets are tough to describe. More about them below.

Personality: Shizuka is... a bit of a tame one. She's quiet, but well aware of it. Knowledgeable and reserved, Shizuka is adamant to help those in need in any ways she can, but when push comes to shove, she is easily stressed if she gets something wrong.

Appearance: Shizuka is a young woman with an average and healthy down-to-earth look. From top to bottom, she's rocking amber drills for her hair style, green eyes and a light skin tone for key body features. It also looks like she's at the tail end of puberty - but with that out of the way, her outfit consists of a dark blue long sleeved top and shorts combo of the same colour, long white socks and shoes to match as well. She also wears dark brown gloves on both hands.

Weapons: None

Example quotes:

Me? A puppet? No, my appearance is more of a doll, if you ask me.

This is all going according to my envisioning - I have all of this wrapped up in my strings.

Necromancy? Now that sounds dangerous. I prefer living servants.

Other details: Shizuka suffers from one illness, which is basically a lethal agoraphobia. In other words, this nasty illness puts her at risk of immense pain if exposed to too much heat or cold out in the open while she is outdoors, and at worse, excessive exposure puts her at risk of a heart attack. This leads to intense fear of the outdoors, as it could very well cost Shizuka her life.

First appeared: Education Encounter

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: Rebirth of Civilization

Backstory: Shizuka hails from a fantasy world where magic is rare and yet valued in the society she lived in. During educational years which everyone attended regularly, magic was banned in classes by itself, though magic itself was the subject and teaching focus throughout the whole education experience. So, one day at home, she figured that rule only extends to actual magic spells - she decided to try and cheat the system - and that she succeeded, developing her first few puppets - two General rank puppets who she still has to this day, and from that day onward, she took the two puppets to school to accompany her and assist her.

However, when she walked in with those very puppets into class, her teacher was curious as to what she had done, and Shizuka's puppets warranted further inspection. Shizuka lost both puppets one day, as said teacher inspected them and found the magic essence that fuelled them - although it was not a magic spell, magic itself was being used and was used prior in classes, leading to Shizuka getting expelled, yet commended for her approach to the 'no magic' rule, but was yet allowed to continue her education after the next term started. From there, she kept expanding her line, but those two original puppets are the only ones that accompanied her.

However, just before graduation day, Shizuka caught her illness, and was unable to attend in person. So, what was her solution? Send both of her puppets to represent her, but since Shizuka herself was nowhere to be found, her puppets came back empty handed on graduation day. The day after, Shizuka was distraught to not be rewarded for her hard work. So, she worked even harder - eventually putting her puppets into combat practice, and attending a combat school to show off their prowess. Unexpectedly, she once again amazed the school she went to and was one of the top students. After leaving, she has since remained in home for as long as she can remember.

The Puppets: OK, THIS is her selling point. Her puppets are a squad of magical - well, puppets, brought to life through her magic and serving as helping hands anywhere she goes - for menial tasks, battle support, or just - whatever she wants. In battle, the puppets are fuelled by the magic that keeps them alive, self-repairing any minor damage they take if they don't take damage after a while - unless the magic they have is drained, in which case they will stay destroyed and fade away within 10 minutes.

The puppets come in 5 'ranks' or 'classes', all with unique purposes and available properties to them.

Kamikaze - Self-explanatory - the Kamikaze puppets are flying explosives that explode on contact with anything. The most fragile out of the puppets, but they pack one heck of a punch and are also the fastest. These are also the puppets that every single new puppet starts as before changes are made to them, so as a result, there are more Kamikaze puppets than any other puppet type.
Knights - The big bad meat shields of the squad, the Knight puppets are the ever-present guardians with attack draining shields - which pose little to no weight at all and exist only to defend themselves, Shizuka, and other puppets. They can only attack by bashing with their shields, but in exchange, they are the most durable puppets in the set.
Lancers - These guys poke holes in defences like nobody's business. The Lancer puppets are flying, persistent little puppets who hold spears - made for fast, vicious combat. They are very close range for their nature, but in exchange are fast attacking and weak by themselves - still making for a scary up-close force. They commonly are paired with Knight puppets for a great counter-attack strategy.
Gunmen - Gunmen are the puppets that are a jack of all trades - best in none. They are durable, average speed puppets that fulfil a variety of roles depending on the firearm they are given - but the four most common ones are shotguns, sniper rifle, sub machine guns and flamethrowers. Thankfully, their magic enhances their wielded firearms, granting them indefinite ammo for as long as they still have magic with them.
Generals - The Generals are Shizuka's top dogs - always staying with their master at all times. They encompass all other puppet ranks into one - and four times better than the originals. On top of all of 'that', these guys are indestructible - meaning they will remain with Shizuka at all times - no matter how long for - and protect her. These puppets also deal with people attacking their master - able to open portals to Shizuka's location should she be attacked - and they will keep her safe as best as they can, for that is their main directive.

Inspiration links:

Alice Margatroid - Touhou Project (links to wiki page) - Pretty much the whole puppet master gimmick.

Weaknesses: OK, every character has a weakness, but what are 'her' weaknesses? Two words - little defence. Without her puppets to defend her, she is very vulnerable, and her weak physical power doesn't help her in that regard either - which is ironic considering that her puppets are made to help and protect her and her allies - but if someone gets to her, all but her strongest puppets, the Generals, will go out of order for a while.

Character number two! Man, this one is... a bit more complicated, huh? Oh well! Allow me to introduce you to the immortal fire from the future, Kokoro Masaki!

Name: Kokoro Masaki

Species: Ghost

Nicknames/Titles: The Flame that Remains Eternal

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Likes: Fantasies, the past, loneliness

Dislikes: Small places, perverts, art

Height: 5'3 (160 cm)

Weight: 58 kg (only when she can be contacted physically)

Sexuality: Pansexual

Hobbies: Cooking

Occupation: None (present), merchant (past life)

Powers/Abilities: Firebending, nuclear power

I'm talking full scale fire-based attacks and explosions - though they are not 'full power' strong.

Personality: Kokoro is a shy girl who speaks little and works a lot. She is a passive-aggressive soul, wounded from the second life that she is eternally cursed with. She tries to assist others when she can, hoping to put her limitless time and forcing power to good use - with a grave confidence that will never die away when she is in combat.

Appearance: Kokoro is a young woman, but at a height far below average. But from what can be seen among what she looks like, she has scarlet red eyes and short, curled hair in the same colour. As for body looks and clothes, she has already finished her puberty and her outfit is comprised of black boots and black socks, a dark blue long skirt, a dark blue shirt and a light pink hoodie on top of the shirt, of which seems to have two lined striped across it's sleeves in a scarlet red colour. It's also worth noting due to her phantasmal look, she's partly translucent, too.

Weapons: None

Example quotes:

The fire within me burns eternal... And now you shall as well!

So, just because I'm dead, I don't have human rights? I had a past life as a human with my own guts and bones, thank you.

I carry with me an eternal curse, one that shall never be lifted. It's a shame my time is wasted on it at the moment.

Other details: She's an illusion of her past life - full body and all. Being an illusion and already dead, she is practically immortal. She's more like a ghost in most properties, though. However, it is possible to make a vessel for her to possess and leave at well, letting her gain a 'simulated' physical life at her own discretion and adding in pretty much every aspect of physical contact to her.

First appeared: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E1)

Other appearances: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E2, S1 E3)

Most recent: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E4)

Backstory: Kokoro is the illusion and representation of a catastrophic event that laid waste to the land she hails from - the future. Being from the future, her home is highly advanced compared to ours in all senses - technology being the centrepiece of the whole future due to how strong it's influence is. However, in the approximate year of 2113, it was foretold the main power generating tower known as the Electrodome would reach an overload and explode on any who lived nearby to where the tower was situated - to be specific - in the south west of town. This is where Kokoro was staying over at the time, being a travelling merchant and intended to leave 3 days later.

However, the incident occurred much before that - within 6 hours, the Electrodome overloaded and exploded, putting an end to anyone in the south west of town, Kokoro included. However, Kokoro was surprised to find that although she had been consumed by the blast, she still had life left in her. She looked around and saw her corpse, and indication of - yes, she was dead. However, when she looked in the mirror, she saw she had a spectral-like image now, turned into something of a ghost, an illusion, if you will, and has been told to remain like that for the rest of her life - her soul having split from her body to help her take this form.

After coming to this realisation, Kokoro left the town at her intended departure date, and along the way of her travels, she had also learned her age was frozen in time as well, so she is technically immortal, and her soul had inscribed some of the explosion's force. This energy gave her firebending and nuclear levels of power, allowing her to fight from her invincible and immortal state as an illusion of an incident from the future. Through her travels after leaving town, she also eventually found a time travel escape pod of sorts, and since it wasn't being in use, decided to use it to send herself to the past to warn and foretell events.

Inspiration links:

Hata no Kokoro - Touhou Project (links to wiki page) - This is where I got 'Kokoro' from in her name. Kokoro itself means 'heart'.
Weaknesses: Kokoro's weaknesses are simple ones, but crippling ones. First of all, despite the face-value of her powers, her powers in themselves are rather weak. Even if they are strong, they are weaker than average levels of power if someone else has those powers. And her second weakness - her big one - Kokoro's presence can always be felt and sensed, even when she can't be. She even still makes sounds while not visible, so there's always some way to keep track of her, making a few approaches she can make impossible for her to succeed with.

And so, enter character number 3! My sensual soldier, Yuri Hirano!

Name: Yuri Hirano

Species: Human

Nicknames/Titles: Cupid's Spear Advocate

Age: 19

Gender: Female

Likes: Teasing, exercise, beauty

Dislikes: Haste, darkness, jealousy

Hobbies: Writing

Occupation: Soldier

Powers/Abilities: Regeneration/self healing

If Yuri had sustained any injuries, she will steadily heal them back naturally over time. It's not instantaneous, as it requires her to not be in harm's way for it to work.

Personality: Yuri is a passionate girl who loves to be as social as possible - an energetic and loving social butterfly. She's got a bit of a dirty mind complex on her and maybe shows off her own looks a bit too much, but that's not her big problem personality wise. All of that self-loving comes at a cost of raw mind power - meaning Yuri lacks a strategic mind and spirit.

Appearance: Yuri is a slender young woman who is pretty well built for her age - hourglass and decent features overall. As for the rest of her look, she is rocking a full set of bright red armour - which coats her entire body up to her elbows and knees. There's a little window in it's top centre part, which connects the armour to Yuri's neck and near her chest. As for the rest of her look, below that armour she's rolling with a shirt and shorts combo of the same colour, light brown, and knee-high white socks, which are carefully locked in by her black-grey boots. She's a moderately dark skin tone, has emerald eyes and her hair is a blonde colour and styled into thin twin tails that flow from her head down to her hips.

Weapons: Yuri wields, primarily, a spear or a lance. Nothing too special, but it's nimble and lightweight, letting her maintain an acrobatic combat style while also decently strong.

Example quotes:

You know, if you kept your head up, you'd be 'this' much more attractive. It's a compliment.

Bright and early, top of the morning! Is it hot in here, or is that... just... me~?

You know, you might have had a point there. Except my family are deceased royalties, I am technically a princess... Looks can kill, and I love my looks!

Other details: While Yuri is a soldier, she is not too interested in fighting unless commanded, and would much rather be doing something else - but that does not mean she's incapable of combat, she just doesn't like fighting.

First appeared: A Knight and Her Squire

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: A Knight and Her Squire

Backstory: Yuri is from a long line of duty bound men and women who all pledged allegiance to the same line - the Bluesteel Nation. They all served to repress attackers, defend their masters, and in general, it was a family with no funny business while on working hours, but yet still maintained strong family bonds in the background as well. One fateful night, the king and queen they were serving had a bit of a feud which somehow ultimately ended in them both perishing, and with nobody willing to take the mantle, the whole Bluesteel Nation collapsed into disarray. Enter the mother and father of Yuri, who decided to both take up the mantle last second.

A few weeks later, Yuri herself was born. Being the daughter of the new king and queen (and technically a princess as a result), this gave her top priority just under the king and queen themselves for the others to defend. Which they were doing just fine, until the end of the seventh year of her parent's reign. It was late at night and everyone but Yuri had fallen asleep, woken up to footsteps approaching the king and queen's chambers. She heard these footsteps and approached them, but arrived just too late to find her parents dead, and realising her mistake of not being fast enough to protect them, the scared and now parent-less Yuri fled the Bluesteel Nation and grew up in the wild until she found a village willing to take her in.

At a later point in time, Yuri has been living in the wild for just about 8 years and is now 15. She had finally found a village to take her in and discovered quite a few pleasures and entertainment she was not allowed to have due to her heritage of warriors. Although she had promised to live up to their reputation and maintain the family line, which motivated her to pick up her spear/lance, she didn't want to be 'just' like them. So, she indulged in the vast entertainment section her new home had to offer - specifically managing to get her hands on quite a few questionably sourced books and comics - of which had fuelled her sensual side even until now - and since, it has moulded into her personality.

Inspiration links:

Yuri (links to definition) - Yuri is a fictional term where love between two female characters - in a romantic sense - is utilised. This is usually seen in a story or relationship.
Hirano - Hirano, Yuri's last name, came from Kouta Hirano, a Japanese manga artist known for Hellsing and Drifters.

Weaknesses: Yuri's weaknesses - and she has multiple - one is emotional, one is physical. Emotionally - she is sensitive and over-protective of what she loves doing. She keeps insisting she only fights as well as she looks, as she hopes to improve both until she is happy with them, but truth be told, her combat prowess is not raising at all, and is rather lacking instead - which is her physical weakness. Although her overall performance is top of the line, she is not at peak performance, and as such, her defences are incredibly fragile in all aspects - mentally and physically.

Character number 4! This one had to go through a bit of a reworking to get her - up and going, but as she stands, here is Yume Satono!

Name: Yume Satono

Species: Human (previously a Dream Deity)

Nicknames/Titles: Restless Archer

Age: 24

Gender: Female

Likes: Massages, junk food, romance

Dislikes: Arrogance, loud noises, mockery

Hobbies: Sleeping (what did you expect)

Occupation: Scout/Look-out

Powers/Abilities: Can see while asleep

The first ability is nothing too supernatural, it's just Yume being able to see while her eyes are resting. Think of it like an X-Ray while the eyes are closed, and heavily reliant on the world around them - to remember what it looks like, so they can still 'see'!

Personality: Yume is a girl who has two things on her mind - one being friends, and the second being rest. She is easily bored and tired out by most things, but enjoys spending quality time with friends - offering herself up if they need consoling. She's yet a fragile and quiet soul, and as such, she's not got the position or bravery to be on a linear line of better or worse (she can't make a mistake without it going worse).

Appearance: Yume is a drop-dead gorgeous girl on the surface - with killer looks across the board if we're talking body structure. Minus that, her dark green eyes, long, flowing white hair (down to her shoulders), and what appears to be something of an outfit comprised of a short sleeved top and a skirt on top of armour for the respective regions. The armour itself, sadly, is not very durable looking at all, and it meets that easily.

Weapons: Although Yume is not usually one to fight, as she rarely finds situations to actively fight, she uses her own home-made long bow. Durable, smooth and easy to use. And it's damn accurate, too.

Example quotes:

I hope I didn't interrupt your sleep... That's the last thing I'd want to rob you from - a nice, long, soft slumber...

W-Who's there? If it's something to do with sleeping on the job, I can still see while asleep, you know...

Are you... comfy here, with me? If so, then... I'd gladly sing you a lullaby, maybe... We can be sleeping buddies?

Other details: Yume seems to quite like the feeling of something coming into contact with her body physically. Someone or something or otherwise. Is this due to how it potentially feels?

First appeared: Rebirth of Civilization

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: Rebirth of Civilization

Backstory: Yume's past is mostly obscure, but what is known is that Yume is from a dream in itself. And through some weird, yet convenient happening stance, Yume was able to transcend her dream to enter the real world and back into said dream whenever she wanted. Although, there was a catch. In the dream world, she was limitless and could do whatever she wanted. But, if she went into the real world, she would only be as strong as an average human. One day, when she got into the routine of transcending the real world and the dream world at a usual time, she was spotted by who's dream she was stepping out of and they ratted her out.

From that day forward, people have been locking their doors and windows at all times, so if they do doze off, this dream dweller cannot go back into her home dream. Every single time she tried to get into one, with any sort of opening and plan, she would always be denied at the last second. As such, her reputation kept going down and down as she desperately infiltrated people's homes while they are asleep in an effort to re-enter her dream. But alas, it was fruitless, and her dream had expired, severing her connection to the dream world forever. She was now classed as a normal human being.

One day, she was found fast asleep in all sorts of places throughout the day - in a pile of rubbish, a market, you name it, yet she could still do normal menial tasks while asleep and similar. This caught the eye of the local security, and enlisted her help in keeping the local area safe. Albeit reluctant, Yume agreed on several conditions - she'd need training and be authorised to sleep on the job. That way, if she's asleep, she could catch anyone dumb enough to go past her, not knowing she can see them, and apprehend them immediately. Since, she has been on the move from town to town to catch criminal after criminal with her unique skill.

Inspiration links:

Yume - Yume's first name means 'dream' in Japanese, thus relating to sleep.
Satono - Yume's last name came from Satono Nishida from the Touhou Project series.
Sleeping Beauty - Mary Skelter (links to wiki page) - Pretty much the whole concept. Which, in turn, is then based on the original Sleeping Beauty tale.

Weaknesses: Yume's weaknesses? Two of them. One - she does not pack too much of a punch in any senses - and is generally perceived as weak. The reason for this is that - as expected - she sleeps instead of training. And the second? Yume is pretty gullible to a fault. Brainless? No, just pretty easy to convince.

Character number 5! The grim reaper has a few descendants, and this lady is one of them! And her name is Scarlet Mallory!

Name: Scarlet Mallory

Species: Demon (disguised as human)

Nicknames/Titles: Death's Daughter

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Likes: Negotiations, work, combat

Dislikes: Limits, humanity, seclusion

Hobbies: Science

Occupation: Reaper

Powers/Abilities: Pretty much all reaper stuff

Exactly as it says on the tin. Collecting souls, control over people's deaths, etc. The like.

Personality: Scarlet is a hardworking, yet sincere girl. She takes her job seriously, promising the dead she escorts to the afterlife a good future with all the kindness she can muster, but unfortunately, her temper is really short, sometimes leading to irrational violent outbursts.

Appearance: Scarlet, on the surface, is a rather average girl, to be honest, average in all areas. As for outfit, she's in a full black outfit - hood, cloak and boots, all in what appear to be leather. She also wears a bright red shirt and short trousers, both of which look both bare-bones and simple. Her eyes are a dark grey - more like a medium grey, and her hair is short with one eye covered by said hair.

Weapons: Yes, she has a scythe, though she has been gifted technology to really amp up her duties. This includes a purple energy blast and the ability to use that as a ranged attack on demand, complete reconfiguration of the scythe and more on top of the scythe's usual qualities.

Example quotes:

I come bearing requests from the Grim Reaper, secondary ruler of Hell. He requires two sacrifices from this town, dear public.

If you want to keep your head attached to your neck, you will shut up before I cut it clean off and mail it to the dullahans!

It's not every day you get to say you're the Grim Reaper's girl. Unless you're me! I say that all the time!

Other details: Scarlet seems to be quite the glutton for punishment, and loves the thrills of hard work and just getting stuff done.

First appeared: Rebirth of Civilization

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: Rebirth of Civilization

Backstory: While Scarlet was young, about 2 years old, she was being taught how to walk and what not - usual baby stuff. Until one day, she was kidnapped in her sleep and killed while in said sleep, and inexplicably sent to Hell. Being new in Hell, and having no idea what hell is, the baby Scarlet crawled and walked around aimlessly until they stumbled across the Grim Reaper's doorstep. Much to her surprise, she found life in there - the reaper himself! He seemed puzzled why a toddler was even in Hell to begin with, but not wanting to put this opportunity to waste, he decided to take Scarlet in and indoctrinate her to be his next descendent in line.

The next few years in Hell went like normal. More and more dead people poking in, Scarlet getting education from the dozens of deceased teachers in Hell, until one day, the reaper decided to begin explaining what he wanted Scarlet to be - the next reaper for when he passes on. Understandably fearful of the concept, Scarlet refused - directly disobeying her adoptive father's wish, to which he smiled and said, 'you'll be a great reaper - what is your name, girl?' And from then on, Scarlet and the reaper have been a growing father-daughter relationship, albeit not biological.

One day, it was officially 18 years since Scarlet's death, and Scarlet was now 20. To commemorate this, the Grim Reaper gave Scarlet her very own scythe to celebrate 18 years in Hell. Scarlet loved the heck out of her scythe, and through training, desired so much more. As now more technology was being introduced to Hell, Scarlet asked if she could use scraps from the dead. The Grim Reaper allowed this, and as such, Scarlet used this technology salvaged to mechanically upgrade her blooded beauty of a scythe. And after then, she had since been going on full-time reaper duties. Escorting the dead to and from lives.

Inspiration links:

Mallory - According to 'here', Mallory translates to 'the unfortunate one' and/or 'the unlucky one'.

Weaknesses: Scarlet's weakness is one big one - accuracy. Although her weapon is indeed powerful and dangerous - it gave her the incentive to not aim, and as such, she kind of flails around at most times if not focused - especially at range. This results in some pretty embarrassing over shots and miscalculations.

Character number six has arrived! Hide your food, everyone! Bowe Magnolia!

Name: Bowe Magnolia

Species: Human

Nicknames/Titles: Hunger Struck Sunflower

Age: 14 (mental age of 8)

Gender: Female

Likes: Eating, playing games, socialising

Dislikes: People, getting attacked, threats

Height: 4'9 (144-145 cm)

Weight: 47.6 kg

Sexuality: Undefined

Hobbies: Eating (what did you expect)

Occupation: None

Powers/Abilities: None

Personality: Hide your fridges and hide your meats, this girl is a mad eater. Most of her personality is indeed controlled by a childlike nature with a ridiculous energy supply, obedience to those she trusts, and gullible at best responses to most situations, but this girl just LOVES to eat. However, despite all of this, Bowe is easily scared of practically anything that dares come close, and will result in a frantic counter-attack could she be pressured too much.

Appearance: Bowe is a girl with one hell of a small stature - below the average height and no signs of growing, at all. From top to bottom, she's rocking long, golden twin locks (all the way down to her knees) for her hair style, light purple eyes and a darker skin tone for key body features. Because of her age, puberty or anything like that is far out of her reach, but with that out of the way, her outfit consists of a light red hoodie with an orange shirt below it, with shorts of the same orange colour. Below that, striped socks in white and purple, and what appear be white-cyan space boots or something like that.

Weapon: Bowe's weapon of choice is a high-tech chainsaw blade, which is exactly as it says on the tin. Picture a sword, except swap the blade on it for a chainsaw's blade instead (to scale with the hilt). This weapon of destruction can be revved up by a gear in the middle of the hilt, and when it is, it's powerful enough to practically rip anything open while in business. Though, while revved up, this comes at a loss of control, as Bowe has absolutely no idea how recoil works.

Example quotes:

Alien meat is a great delicacy! People would pay to taste something this good!

Knock, knock! (Who's there?) Stomach! (Stomach who?) I'll stomach 'you'!

Indigestion? Don't recite that to me, I have already been there and back...!

Other details: The only things Bowe 'won't' eat include human meats of all kinds and particularly bitter food - and especially spicy foods. She will eat them, but only to regret it later and get a severe distaste from how bad they are to her.

First appeared: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E1)

Other appearances: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E2, S1 E3)

Most recent: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E4)

Backstory: Bowe is a young girl who has forever lived on one planet out in space, but her life was not too much of an easy one. Her space was thriving off of labour and torture, forcing people to work. Aliens and other, older humans ruled this society, and in those days, Bowe was treated and used as a monster pet of some kind. She would be tasked with eating traitorous aliens alive, making it so others had no idea what she was doing in the darkness of the 'lair' she resided in, and kill of the humans who went down the same path. Eventually, this cruel enforcement dawned on Bowe, and thanks to the abuse, her mentality was weakened by this.

Eventually, Bowe decided to fight back. From the fallen she had previously eaten/killed, she salvaged their technology into scraps and built her own chainsaw blade which she still has to this day. With this in her possession, she made her first move - single out the aliens and eradicate them. Since the aliens had the stronger and more competent firepower, including that which could kill Bowe, she thought it would be best to get rid of them to prevent her harm, and it worked very nicely, her getting them all into trouble and into her lair, killing them all off one by one. And eventually, aliens stopped showing up after the last alien met their fate.

Before long, the humans were next, but they didn't meet Bowe in her lair, Bowe met them on the ground level and slaughtered every last one of them. From that day forth, Bowe is the only human survivor on their planet - having committed a full genocide on said planet in less than 2 months. That event happened four years ago, and to this day, Bowe is still sad about it, but still can't bring herself to leave the planet she called home. And to hell if she was going to let anyone harm it, take it, or disrupt her while she's there. She has been protecting her 'home' ever since the last human had perished by her hand.

Rapunzel - Mary Skelter (links to wiki page) - A vast majority of the concept, which in turn is based on the fairy tale of Rapunzel. The only trait Bowe lacks from this interpretation is the cannibalising feature, which was revoked due to it being off-putting for the GM of Bowe's debut RP.
Magnolia - Bowe's last name is derived from the magnolia plant, which symbolises both dignity and nobility.
Weaknesses: Bowe's weakness is a big one - for the most part, she is awfully weak 'and' frail. She has no real way of damaging someone without getting close, and even then, she herself is prone to a lot of damage. Not only that, she may be too honest with her thoughts and feelings - maybe opening up 'too' much. Even then, Bowe is still overly controlled by a childlike nature, making her hard to handle sometimes.

Character number seven is in business, and she will see you - right now!

Name: Hamele Isaragi

Species: Human

Nicknames/Titles: Medicinal Magician

Age: 23

Gender: Female

Likes: Inflicting pain, loneliness, adventures

Dislikes: Socialising, spying, the dead

Height: 5'7 (170 cm)

Weight: 58 kg

Sexuality: Bisexual

Hobbies: Art

Occupation: Nurse

Powers/Abilities: None

Personality: If you're looking for a conversation, you've come to the wrong person. Hamele is somewhat weird when she's talking to others, no matter who it may be. She's either teasing, losing people in her words, or just talking to herself - but if you get past the conversational part, she's a guardian angel that puts others first, willing to sacrifice herself in any way to ensure the others survive.

Appearance: Hamele is a tall and tanned young woman, standing a fair bit above average height and body looks are similarly above average. Her eyes are a dark blue, with her hair in a lighter blue - with a bow pattern formed in her hair behind her head with short curls at the front of her head. As for outfit, she's outfitted with a black coat and cloak combo, a light pink shirt beneath it, pink shorts, and big, brown leather boots. On her back is what appeared to be a weapon holster, but inside is another story.

Weapons: Hamele's weapon is a monumental metallic staff known as the 'Lifeline' that flips between two modes at the flick of a switch. On one side, it's a restoration beam that patches up wounds, restores body parts and heals diseases/illnesses (but can't revive the dead), and the other side is a concentrated plasma beam of heat. This thing does run on a power source, but it's one known as an Infinity Jewel, a very rare and sought after ore that never runs out of energy or power at all.

Example quotes:

Hush, hush! It's better that you're in pain than dying at the moment! Besides, it'll make treating you all the easier...

Listen to me, child. If you would like to experience death, go ahead. And if you die, don't say I didn't warn you.

Disappointing indeed... I pity how low your tolerance is. I suppose I'll have to beat you lifeless!

Other details: Hamele seems to quite like dishing out the pain, and take delight in other's sufferings. For some unknown reason.

First appeared: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E2)

Other appearances: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E3)

Most recent: Fate of the Stars of Life (S1 E4)

Backstory: Hamele is the most recent member of a long line of experienced humans just like her - all of which are experienced in something to do with the medical field or close to it. Psychiatrists, doctors, the like. Hamele, on the other hand, opted to shut out this life immediately when her parents told her of it, saying she did not want to be like them, as she had bigger dreams. Primarily - she wanted to go to space. So, her parents said 'why not do both to make us all happy?' Hamele thought about it, and when her parents moved out so Hamele could live on her own, she put her plan into action and decided to fulfill that suggestion. Her plan was to go to Space 'and' carry on her family's history.

So, she started by enrolling in as many medical related education experiences she could get her hands on. Very few rejected her, as doctors were very much in demand, and Hamele soon thought the same way. After a good few years of this education, and eventually getting her hands on technology, she decided to one day go on a wander to see what over hidden wonders the world holds. This would lead to the discovery of her Infinity Jewel, an ore that has limitless energy to speak of, and was exceedingly rare. Hamele, upon finding it, kinda freaked out, but took it home and planned to put this to good use, soon getting her hands on technology to let her do so.

And this in turn lead to the construction of her Lifeline staff, to which she holds as a prised possession of her own creation and has never let it leave her - ever. No matter where she would go, she would always take her beloved staff with her, not just to help the injured and prove what it could do, but to show off how proud she is of herself. And in due time, this would catch a lot of attention on the staff, and not the hidden source of that Infinity Jewel she found. Since then, Hamele has been able to achieve her dream, and spends most of her time in the medical field up in space, tending to wounds and diseases nobody can hear happen.
Inspiration links:

Hameln - Mary Skelter (links to wiki page) - The inspiration for the name and the aspect of socially awkward, which in turn is based on the fairy tale of the Pied Piper of Hamelin.
Weaknesses: Hamele's weakness is pretty simple. She's mostly defenceless, as medics of her situation usually are. She lacks through-and-through power outside of her staff, and is pretty darn weak without it, sadly.

Character number eight, and finally not a lady! But if it's any compromise, they look the part just fine!

Name: Rintarro Fubuki

Species: Human

Nicknames/Titles: Inverse Gender Nightmare/The Fusion Master

For context, the 'Master' titles of a specific summoning style are given to those who conquered the former master of said style in a duel. While it puts a great target on their head, it also means their names are known and often widely feared. Rintarro is the Fusion Master, specialised in Fusion Summoning monsters - though thanks to his disguise, nobody can identify him so easily.

Age: 19

Gender: Male (looks female)

Likes: Soft things, eavesdropping, people.

Dislikes: Studying, persistence, ranting.

Height: 5'7 (170 cm)

Weight: 56 kg

Sexuality: Bisexual

Hobbies: Rintarro actively plays Duel Monsters in their free time, as to hone his skills and protect his title; though aside from that, he does like to read

Occupation: Duellist at Duel Academy (basically - card game school student), uses Fluffal/Frightfur Deck

Powers/Abilities: None

Personality: Make no mistake, this is a monster under disguise. In his disguise, he's a sweet little soul with generosity to burn and outright enthusiasm and loyalty to those he's with. Flip the switch and head to the battle field, the real beast is shown. The dude is merciless, not only reflected in his now apparent lack of restraint, but even his deck flips a switch in the same degree - from the purest soul you may or may not know, to a borderline sociopath - one that seeks to tear everyone down as soon as someone steps in their way.

Appearance: A short, averagely built boy who has an... interesting... way of appearing to others. He guises himself as the opposite sex on face value, using it to hide who he really is, and avoid suspicion. He wears a torn black coat (as in, torn at the sleeves and edges along the bottom), a yellow buttoned top below that, and a combo of white long socks and boots - and along his back, a white bag for whatever they wish to hold. Their eyes are a captivating pink and their hair is a short, neatly folded red, covering the top centre of his eyes.

Weapons: None

Example quotes:

Hey, slow down big fella! Don't you think it's a good idea to lighten your load before you go?

You ever wonder what happens to people who piss me off? You're about to find out!

Hahaha... ahahahaha! This is a ride for the ages, and I love it! Stay away from me, this one is mine for the taking!

Other details: In the sequel RP 'Duelling Legacy', there is a character (Condor Fubuki) of which Rintarro is implied to have found and adopted. It is implied if Rintarro is still alive during it (he's 24 years old there), but what he is doing is unknown.

First appeared: Yu-Gi-Oh! Universe Accel

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelling Legacy (was implied, mentioned, quoted)

Backstory: Rintarro was born to a pair of partners who were distinguished in the society where they lived, and they wanted to expand their family. However, they would be saddened to hear they got a boy in their next birthing - that boy being Rintarro. The family wanted a daughter to raise, so for the most part, Rintarro was neglected and refused the right to develop properly. Rintarro, figuring this out, began to loathe his parents and set out on a long-winded plan to blend in with the family to not only get the development he wants, but get to know the family itself better; and in extension, various other people. How did he plan to get all of this, you ask? By pretending to be what he isn't!

Several days and weeks down the line, Rintarro was rarely seen at the house where he and his parents did live, because Rintarro was off and hatching his plan - gathering all sorts of bits and pieces to form what would eventually be his 'girl outfit' that would allow him to blend in a bit better. He would make this all by himself, though gathering the materials for it and keeping it all hidden from everyone else was a much bigger obstacle than intended, until it came time that the outfit was ready and was worn for the first time. Rintarro would not wear the outfit in question until his next birthday after he made it, but when it did come, he donned the outfit and went on to enjoy the day, with surprising effect.

Rintarro, to his surprise and relief, was treated like a member of the family again - turns out they had forgotten that he even existed, and that this new 'daughter' of theirs was just a lie told to them by the doctors at where Rintarro was birthed. Rintarro, after the day's end, would use some of the gifts and other goodies he gathered to gradually piece together his Fluffal/Frightfur deck, and enter the Duel Monsters scene. Within months, people would know of this 'sweet little lady' who will tear you to pieces if you challenge them unprepared, and in time, Rintarro claimed the title of Fusion Master by one of his unlucky opponents. Very few people actually know his secret, though if it spreads far enough, it would ruin his reputation.

Inspiration links:

Fubuki - Rintarro's last name originated from Sakura Fubuki, a wordless song released in 2015.

Weaknesses: Rintarro, as a character, is chronically weak. As in, physically weak. He can't take too much forms of abuse or damage in any forms, leaving him somewhat vulnerable. As a player in Duel Monsters however, his deck of choice heavily relies on drawing the right cards at the right time, and having constant access to them, as he will need them at all times.

Lucky number 9 to some, and I'm glad it's going to this one! My little nerd, and boy do I like her!

Name: Fuma Arkhalis

Species: Human (previously a metaphorical zombie)

Nicknames/Titles: XX

Age: Originally unknown (17+), now 42

Gender: Female

Likes: Mythology, darkness, spectating

Dislikes: Loneliness, loud noises, 'fake' people

Height: 5'6 (167-168 cm)

Weight: 58 kg

Sexuality: Bisexual

Hobbies: Cooking and reading

Occupation: Duellist at Duel Academy, used Ghostrick and Raidraptor decks - now recently a teacher at a Duel Academy

Powers/Abilities: Fuma's monsters can be summoned in and out of a duel at any time, and they take physical bodies, with powers and abilities as close to real as possible without breaking boundaries, and allowing them to speak (thus also giving them personalities). She can recall them at any time she wants in the real world, but with the monsters having physical bodies now, this means the damage is also real and could potentially be fatal.

Personality: Fuma is a resident genius, though is terrified of speaking her mind. While she may come up with some great or possible awful ideas, she's nervous to share them to others out of fear of what they may actually think. She tries to gather as much information as she can, but is hellbent on helping people through troubles with this hobby of hers. However, Fuma has a snarky selfish attitude, and will usually not help anyone or anything unless she could gain something from it.

Appearance: A tall, slightly above average girl who wears a long sleeved white hoodie, a light red shirt below that (of which has a flower pattern on the front of it, think of it like a rose), and below there, a combo of a white short skirt, light red knee-high socks and dark blue heels. Her hair is long, messy (in frills) and flowing down to her shoulders in it's light green colour, with her eyes being a midpoint between pink and red, with crosses as pupils. Thanks to time alone in heck-knows, Fuma's skin tone is also a weird, slightly rotten teal-looking colour, though she quotes it does not mean anything to her. However, from her second RP, her appearance saw an overall reverse in how she looks (pictured in spoiler).

Weapons: None

Example quotes:

There's only so much knowledge on the mighty in the world; it's highly valued. So, I intend to get it.

All I yearned for was for someone to stay by my side. But now that I have that, I'm not sure there's much more I want...

If you'd be kind enough to stay clear of my monsters, I will make them spare you. My treat.

Other details: In the sequel RP 'Duelling Legacy', there is a character (Taru Arkhalis) of which Fuma is the mother to, thus making Taru her daughter. It is here that Fuma is implied to be a teacher in a duelling academy.

First appeared: Yu-Gi-Oh! Universe Accel

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelling Legacy (debuted over phone call)

Backstory: Fuma did not have it so easy - while growing up and barely getting by, all she had to herself was herself and the abandoned home she lived in - which was originally an old shack. While taking a temporary hide in that shack, she would find a sizeable sum of money left among many places inside, and she figured that she would take it for herself. Though it was a sizeable amount, Fuma mostly blew it on not making herself strictly 'lonely', gradually spending it on Duel Monsters cards alongside the basic living supplies, and one week from then, she was practically living in that old shack as nobody had come back to it since she arrived; so it was free real estate entirely.

However, no matter what she did, Fuma was still stuck in her mostly deteriorated state, so her condition never improved. She wept regularly out of fear of being lonely while her state only got worse, then a deck of her Duel Monsters cards she had bought began speaking to her, unable to stand her weeping. From that point onward, she has had a family of monsters. Figuring out that they were indeed real monsters, and thus discovering her spirit calling prominence, she figured she could ask them a favour as a collective group, the entire deck of monsters she had made over the years agreeing to help her. These monsters included Ghostrick Alucard, Ghostrick Socuteboss and Ghostrick Dullahan.

With the help of her new monster family, Fuma was gradually able to save more and still spend just as much to keep herself around, leading her to become very attached to her monsters that made this all possible for her. The deck has since always been with her, gradually teaching her more and more about the world and their own world of origin - to which Fuma eventually caved and wanted to find out what a real Duel Academy experience was like, and so, within the next year, she made plans to head to one and eventually succeeded, beginning the journey that would eventually change her life - for better and worse - and with her mobile haunted mansion in the palms of her hand.

Inspiration links:

Arkhalis - Terraria - Where Fuma's last name came from.
Weaknesses: Fuma is long-winded at best, often talking in circles - and surprisingly overconfident in herself. While she may lose some others in her wording, she may even lose and/or confuse herself, for even she gets sidetracked. Meanwhile in the duelling scene, Fuma's main problem is maintaining an offensive line - and no less a sturdy one, as most of that which she 'builds' can easily be broken.

Geez, one favourite after another, it seems. This one is just for the concept alone - how would someone fare if they're disabled?

Name: Kaguya Tsutomei

Species: Human

Nicknames/Titles: Lazy Bound Duellist

Age: 21

Gender: Female

Likes: Procrastination, visiting/being visited,

Dislikes: Overachievers, travel

Height: 5'7 (170 cm)

Weight: 55 kg

Sexuality: Bisexual

Hobbies: Arts and crafts - like making things

Occupation: None, wants to be a Turbo Duellist

Powers/Abilities: None

Personality: If you're trying to find someone productive, this is the wrong person entirely. Kaguya has an overwhelmingly lazy personality, refusing to go anywhere unless she would generally want to. She cares for those who she gets visits from and has in common with (and sometimes prepares gifts of some kind either to repay and/or thank people), but still frequently asks for help from others, not only because she's pretty incapable, but because she just doesn't want to do it herself. However, people were warded away by her laziness, and due to this lack of interaction, Kaguya is not that much of a big speaker to others, lacking social skills too.

Appearance: An average height girl, forever locked in paralysis due to a past incident and is in a wheelchair as a result. She wears a yellow jacket (always left undone) with an orange-black striped shirt below it and then torn jeans below in purple (with the torn parts around the feet and her knees). She's also got a black-white squared pattern bow on her and to her left, and purple sneaker-like shoes down below (despite the fact they're practically useless). As for remaining features, she has long brown hair (in twin tails), blue eyes and is averagely toned as well.

Weapons: None

Example quotes:

Minimum effort. maximum results...

I don't have time to use all of my energy on something that active... It's hard enough, and no less boring...

I'm going to let you finish, but how do you expect me to do something so exhausting...?

Other details: Yes, she 'is' indeed bound to a wheelchair; her legs are not functioning due to paralysis, ergo, she cannot stand up.

First appeared: Yu-Gi-Oh! Universe Accel

Other appearances: XX

Most recent: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duelling Legacy

Backstory: Kaguya was once a regular visitor at a Duel Academy, wanting to get into it herself. In this time, she spent two months visiting until she left and left behind a note that said she was heavily considering it. However, the day before she would decide if she went there or not, an unspoken incident unknown to her had caused her legs to forever be paralysed, preventing her from walking and thus moving altogether. She spent another two months of her time in hospital until they finally got a solution for her - that wheelchair she's now in. The incident in question costed Kaguya's legs and another person in a grave state thanks to the met collision (presumably), and it is implied to have hurt for quite some time.

Unknown to Kaguya, this incident was actually planned out by the 'other' person in a serious state, with the same intention of damage - for they cared not what they did, and also did not care as to what happened to them or who the target was. Kaguya happened to be the unlucky target, and the 'catalyst' was free to walk again, getting off easy and having taken precautions to this beforehand. Kaguya on the other hand spent her time re-adjusting to her now bound life style and the many difficulties that came with it, though as expected it did not go too well, and ultimately, her planned day for arriving at that Duel Academy she wanted to go to arrived, unfortunately her mood had taken a hit to that day, being nervous.

She later went on to join that very Duel Academy she originally wanted to join - only to be lower ranking than what she once was due to 'complications', and this entire incident also gave birth to her laziness she's known for. She would leave that Duel Academy less than a year later after attending the full 'term' (at least 6-9 months), forever crushed by the sudden changes that had so quickly been thrown upon her. Kaguya has yet to tell anyone the full story of how it all came to be, but it is confirmed by her that her wheelchair incident also gave birth to her lazy personality that she now has for the rest of her life thanks to her inability to move for the most part. Kaguya still looks back on it as it changed her life forever.

Inspiration links:

The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter - Where Kaguya's name came from, as a girl named Kaguya is one of the main character's in it (commonly known as Princess Kaguya or Kaguya-hime).
Weaknesses: Kaguya has a multitude of problems, and you wanna know why? That stinking disability of hers! Thanks to it, her general mobility is slow, and so is she in tandem. She cannot help it too much however, but this general problem she seems to be long cursed with is wide-spread, no matter what she does, and heavily outweighs all other problems. Meanwhile in Duel Monsters, Kaguya needs to be able to do something without interruption, generally, unless it will most likely go wrong and lead her to make a tough ascent to recovery.
