Just A Guy Who’s A Hero For Fun
A tall slender male sat near motionless at the end of his bed, a notebook in his hands. Rather than writing in it, the booklet was closed and he was forcing it to crinkle up in between his hands in anger.

At the moment he was staring into his television which sat uncomfortably close to the edge of his bed. An old video of the Symbol of Peace himself, All Might, currently portrayed on it's screen. Through every second of footage small curses escaped the lips of the strange man. At least until the end of the video where he chucked the beaten note pad at the screen, never flinching as the papers scattered to the floor.

He stood up, slinking off to the other parts of his small apartment. As he made his way around it became apparent why the scattered papers didn't concern him, the entire abode was a wreck. Stacks of old books reached the ceiling whilst empty cans of food and drink littered the floor, his sink plied with dishes. Almost every space in the house was covered in trash, showing the man's complete lack of care for his current homestead.

Only one room seemed remotely decent and it was the room he was now entering. A large table sat at it's center with a huge drawn map of an unfamiliar city. The room didn't have much less of a garbage to space ratio but the map area was clear, leaving a path to walk around the table. He stood over the large illustration and took a breath as he prepared to attempt his attack plan... again.

Contrary to a lot of All Might's fans, this man often watched videos of the hero to fuel his anger rather than to admire his accomplishments. It was just what he needed to convince himself to try this again. Taking yet another breath he focused on an area of his incredibly detailed map and in a quick flash vanished from his apartment.

When next he appeared, he found himself in a small alleyway matching that of the one he had drawn on his map. Lucky for him, using his quirk on himself was fast and easy. He didn't feel much of a backlash from the teleportation and could still move around comfortably once used. Luck it seemed, was on his side today, as he could already hear the sirens blaring from his hiding place.

"Threat level Dragon, please evacuate!" they called out into the streets. It was his favorite threat level, the level that called for the best of the best, and specifically, who he was hunting.

He waited for the alert to inform him of which cities he could find this threat and readied himself to be transported there. Remembering the first few times he had come here, things had really changed. After just discovering his quirk he almost stopped using it immediately thanks to this place. Every time he would come here it seemed as if something monumental was happening, and he had nearly lost his life to huge creatures time and time again. Now however, he knew almost as much about this verse as his own.

When he had first discovered his power, he had no idea how to use it to his advantage, but over time he had slowly found a system. Namely it's main use was for escape so long as he didn't find himself in the middle of a monster battle here. He could use this power really quickly, near instantly when he was only jumping between verses himself. Taking a other person or object with him between them was another story.

He had been dreaming of being a villain and defeating All Might since he was a child. At the time he hadn't realized his quirk, which may have changed the incident that lead him down his current path. But he would rather blame All Might than himself for the blunder.

He had experimented in many ways to find a way to use his Quirk offensively in order to exact his revenge. The best use for it he found, was ambush: teleporting in and out of the verses quickly, dancing around an opponent to dodge and counter. Which would do nothing against the foe he wished to defeat the most... He had thought about it over and over. It would only take All Might one punch to win the fight and he was much faster than him on top of that, teleportation or not.

He had thought of sending All Might to the other verse and leaving him. He didn't care if he was dead as long as he was made to pay for what he did. He had experimented with this also and it seemed anything he brought back, including living organisms from his home verse, were at the mercy of his time limit before being focused back. If he sent All Might away and he didn't get killed by a monster over here he would only return in a few hours and be out to get him regardless. The up and coming villain wouldn't risk that.

That was another thing, he was up and coming. He had done a few things here and there whilst testing out his powers, but for the most part he remained nameless to the public. He didn't want the secret of his Quirk getting out risking the loss of his advantage. Not until he defeated All Might at least... he wouldn't mind being known as the man to accomplish that feat.

He teleported back into his apartment, but only for a moment, his focus directed on a different spot on his map before disappearing again. This time appearing between the cities under attack, the alley he was supposed to have appeared in this time was completely leveled by the looks of things. He appeared in a rush, looking around hurriedly for the cause while ducking down into the rubble to keep from being spotted. This was supposed to be a monster attack, and an attack was it ever...

He gaped dumbfoundedly at the mass of the beast before him. Level Dragon indeed, as it might as well have been a dragon the size of a city. A huge black reptilian creature stood on all fours, larger then the several sky scrapers around it. With a swing of it's tail, it ripped through the buildings as if it were swiping through a gas. The appendage hit the earth hard, causing a quake from it's sheer mass. He had to grab ahold of some rubble to just to stay standing.

This was dangerous... probably one of the more dangerous incidents he had witnessed while in this world. He didn't intend to lose his life attempting this and that was why he had actually backed out of his plan several times in the past, just trying not to die. He was getting tired of this dance but what could he do? The beast stopped suddenly however, showing it's sapience as it spoke.

“Are these pathetic beings the best that the association has? I came to fight a battle worthy of a God and this is all I get?!" His voice came out in a rumble that shook the ground around him, a growl accentuating each of his words. He took his front claw and gently pushed a building over, watching the domino effect as it caused others to fall. "Will the rest of you heroes hide like cowards as I kill your innocents?" it growled again, now obviously having attacked the city to draw in an opponent to fight.

The villain observer teleported closer, knowing with the size of this creature that he would have to be close to see any heroes involved as well as the particular one he was looking for. As he did so he could see many fallen heroes on the path. Not a surprising sight, as many heroes here lacked what it took to fight their villains. That was... all but a few, with his prey being included among those few.

He was here after the hero they called the Tornado of Terror. His plan was to bring this hero back with him to fight against All Might. He wasn't sure if she could win, but she had the best chance of any hero he had seen. Most of them were Quirkless gadget wielders or humans with exceptional skill, except for her at least. He had witnessed this one take down a monster the likes of which his home had never seen and crush the life out of it in mere seconds. If she lived in his home world she would be one of their top heroes for sure, and if anyone could do a thing to All Might it would be this one.

Or Blast.

He guessed at least. Blast was supposed to be the number one hero in this world but was a complete mystery to him. If he was stronger than Tornado then that's who he wanted, but as of yet he couldn't even identify the guy. He never showed up to any of the incidents he had witnessed and it was strange the lack of knowledge the public had on him. The villain assumed he was one of those classic hero types, secret identity and all.

This Dragon level attack though was the perfect bait for luring out Tornado. He hadn't spoken to this girl, only seen her, so he didn't know how hard she was to handle as a person. The plan was to bring her back home and then offer the hero's return as a reward for killing All Might. That had been the plan for well... longer than he wished to admit. If she killed All Might then great! And if she couldn't and she was defeated then he would make sure none of this fell back on himself. The girl would be labeled a villain in his world and blamed. Now all that was left was just to wait and as soon as he saw her he would teleport to her and then teleport her away with him to his home world, crossing any further obstacles as they presented themselves.

A new development was taking place, a strange sight to behold, but where he was sat he had a front row seat to it. To this man's death, he assured himself. A man was walking up to the beast, right in front of the monster, who took notice and looked down directly at him. This guy was making no attempt whatsoever for a surprise attack, so what the heck was he thinking going up so calmly? He was a dead man.

This guy was dressed... hero-ish... He would describe this guy's yellow suit as a very poor attempt to make a hero costume. He was bald and didn't exactly look the part, he was also carrying a grocery bag like he was off duty or something. Even as a self considered villain he wasn't sure he could watch this.

The dragon creature lowered it's huge head to meet the man, it's face so wide it had to push buildings out of the way to make room. The dragon seemed to come to the same conclusion as he, because after a moment of silence it began to laugh.

Being this close the laughter shook the earth and jostled him around and instead of steadying himself he chose to hold his ears.

“Is this the association's idea of a joke? Sending you to stop me?" He chuckled for a moment but didn't find it funny for long, this was insulting if it were true.

The shaking ground didn't seem to affect the yellow clad man. He stood motionless, letting the breath from the beast's speech do nothing more then blow back his cape. "Actually," he says, "you're just blocking the way home. Could you move?"

The villain gawked at this insane hero wannabe, even some of the most fearsome heroes and villains he knew of wouldn't act like this towards such an overwhelming opponent. The beast once again seemed to be equally as annoyed. "How dare you insult me," he snarled, lifting his massive hand to crush the hero. "You worm!" it added before it's claw made contact. The dragon was obviously not pleased with a man who would disrespect him, so why wasn't this human running and screaming like the others? Or at least pitifully attacking like the other failed heroes. The small time villain caught himself looking away in that moment. It was too pathetic to even watch this man get squashed. Looking back shortly after when the deed should have been done though, he started gawking for an entirely different reason. This small bald man had caught this giant's hand and was now holding the beast back. His expression became that of shock, and he felt the sensation long before he allowed his jaw to simply drop.

"So no?" the bald man questioned dully, unable to see the shocked expression the dragon itself now wore due to it's massive hand blocking his view. The man, holding the beast back with one hand, punched it with the other and just like that in the blink of an eye... the battle was over.

The aspiring villain stared unmoving as quakes seemed to rattle the dragons body, resonating from the hero's point of impact and continuing completely down the giants body until the entire thing was erupted in gore and painted the city with itself. Unphased, the man looked down sadly at the bag he had dropped to fight the creature, the eggs he had just bought smashed. “Damn.” He cursed a disappointed tone tinged his voice but his expression never changed.

The villain didn't move, only stared onward in shock. Even as another man joined the strange hero below he didn't move. "Master!" the cyborg called while racing towards the bald man, propelling himself with his jets. He stops short and glanced about at the gore left behind from the defeat, as the bald one greeted him.

“Oh hey Genos, looks like we need a new dinner plan."

"I am glad you were here Master, that creature was causing havoc," Genos states.

His master didn't seem to have much else to say about the topic though, he was more concerned with his empty stomach. Only after the pair of heroes were walking away was the villain able to pull out of the stupor from seeing what he had just seen and focus on the bald man. All at once he decided to forget Tornado and take him instead. That feat was greater than anything he had ever witnessed and he was more confident that this guy could win a fight with All Might than he had ever been in the little girl. Was this guy Blast?!

He began to make his way from his hiding spot while planning his attack. He wasn't floating around like Tornado would have been so this would be easier than he had planned. The only problem now was the other guy who had just showed up, he was too close.

Teleporting himself didn't involve any collateral but when he took others, anyone that was too close could get pulled along. Great, a setback. Thankfully only a mild one though. He checked his watch, which he had completely forgotten about during the fight. He was nearly out of time... Maybe it wasn't a mild setback. He wouldn't know how to find this guy again, he had to get him now. He came out of the rubble with a plan already hatched.

"Hey!" he called, waving his arms at the pair and pretending to be out of breath as he ran towards them.

The pair stopped walking to look over their shoulders at the guy making his was to them. "What now?"

"A hero it seems." Genos answered his master and faced the new man. He came to this conclusion by his clothing and the many knives he had strapped to his body. This man had probably come here to help kill the monster.

"That was amazing!" he exclaimed, stopping in front of the bald man and cyborg. He spoke as if he was some kind of big fan of theirs. "I'm called Evaporate, it's a working title... B class hero, rank...60," he added, wishing he had come up with that lie sooner. He wasn't even sure how many heroes B class could have. The pair didn't question it at least. "The way you just one punched that monster was really impressive!" Now that he was closer to the duo he recognized just who the robot was. The demon cyborg, an S class hero. He hadn't seen him in action but had heard of him.

"Thanks." The bald man addressed the compliment but didn't seem enthusiastic about receiving it.

"Would you care to discuss it in private? I have a lot of questions," he continued, still putting on the excited fan act, but neither seemed to care.

"Sorry but I need to get home, I'm hungry. Maybe next time."

His statement surprised the guy, as many heroes enjoyed the limelight. Maybe he was Blast after all then, since the guy never wanted to show himself. This was okay, he could still make this work. "How about you Demon Cyborg! Can I talk to you, please I'm a big fan!" The bot looked at his master, who shrugged his shoulders. The cyborg was hesitant because he came too late to assist against the creature, so he didn't understand the sudden interest in him or the need to speak privately. Well,he assumed it was okay if it was okay with Master. It wasn't the first time random heroes and citizens had needed to speak solely to him.

Genos started to follow Evaporate, who lit up as the robot approached. "Don't take too long Genos, I am going on ahead," baldy warned and continued walking on.

It wouldn't, Evaporate thought in response. All this would happen in an instant. He led the robot behind a pile of tall rubble were they were out of view of the other hero. Genos looked the man over and then began the conversation. "What is it you want?"

He wouldn’t answer only snarl and attempt to debilitate. Moving as fast as he possibly could he pulled a blade from his waist and stabbed it hard and deep into Genos' leg, disappearing before he was attacked. He didn't know if that worked but he aimed to slow that machine down, so he stabbed whatever looked important. He appeared in front of his target, who didn't even react as the guy placed his hand on his chest.

The bald hero looked down at his hand and just watched as they started to vanish. Of course Evaporate wasn't prepared to combat Genos and the metal he was made of. His little knife had done nothing and the cyborg jetted over the rubble and was hurling towards them faster than Evaporate could have expected. "Master!" he yelled, the palm of his hand lighting up as he prepared to fire. The hero looked in Genos' direction but didn't think to break contact with this stranger. Then all at once the trio vanished.

------------------

Evaporate appeared back in his own world, his clothing slightly ablaze from Genos' light blast. He beat it off, grateful that they had ported before he’d managed to really fire off anything truly devastating. Looking around now though there were a few problems: First, he was in a field nowhere near where he was aiming to land them. Second, he was alone. That damn robot had blown them off course! He yelled out of frustration despite the fact that no one could hear. The other-verse pair was nowhere to be found. They hadn't landed together and that meant they were now loose in the city and he needed to get to them.

--------------------

Saitama hadn't even moved. When he appeared in this new world he was standing in the same position looking at Genos, who couldn't stop his acceleration fast enough and slammed into him. Looking back to his front, he was surprised to find the stranger gone. "Huh? Where did that guy go?" he question his tone still bored and staring forward while Genos picked himself up. The cyborg's collision with him had not even phased the bald hero. While waiting on Genos, it took a few minutes for Saitama to realize that anything had even changed, but his expression slowly morphed as he noticed they had moved locations.

"Hey," he started, looking behind him to where the corpse of that beast should have been along with the ruined city, only to find it normal and completely different overall. "What happened? Where are we?" He looked around quickly, confused instead of panicked.

Genos pulled himself off the ground and began a scan of the area, receiving the results after a few moments. "This place, it doesn't match up with any known area that we have been to." He looked around, his eyes zooming in on the new landscape and gathering new information. He also searched for the person that they were now missing, but came up empty.

"Did that guy do this?! Now it might take forever to get home!" Saitama deduced, a little more annoyed than he had been previously. He had just wanted dinner, not all this. With a sigh he began walking towards the nearest building. "Come on Genos, it can't be helped. Let's ask for directions," he decides, returning to his bored monotone form of speech.

"Yes Master," Genos agreeed, following close behind. Neither realized they were in an entirely different world.
