  Symphony of Destruction is a Quirk that relies on the user's vocal cords. It can cause massive havoc if not used correctly. This power ranges from voices coming from heavy metal to opera, to gentle singing. Singing is not always easy, especially when using heavy metal screaming. Below are some variations of Yui's quirk.
  
  Heavy Metal - It's exactly what it sounds like. When using this variation, its quite loud and can cause a lot of damage. Upon impact, the waves create an explosion, destroying anything close enough to the waves to get impacted. This takes a good bit of energy since she's screaming very loudly, after all, its Heavy Metal. She can't use this often, and she usually doesn't use it in tight spaces or unless it's really needed.
  
  Opera - This variation is something of a flashbang. When using the variation, this allows Yui to release a ear piercing note at the target. Causing their ears to ring, making it hard to focus and listen out. This doesn't require much effort unlike Heavy Metal.
  
  Power Metal - This allows Yui to use her voice to prevent her from falling to her death, or smacking into walls face first. Basically the energy from Power Metal makes it dampen her falls or slams. Though its weak when she's facing away from the surface she's about to hit.
  
  Ballad - A slower variation of all her other abilities, more of a calming tone. This could make the directed target slower in movements, almost as if they were falling asleep. But to do this without interruptions, she has to be standing still or moving slow. If she's running around, jumping about, there's no way she can keep a calm ballad-like voice.
  
  
  Strengths
  +As long as her vocal cords are good and her mouth is not covered, her abilities are good to go.
  +A glass of water helps the cords to make them come out clearer.
  +Water also rejuvenates her vocal cords

  -If her vocal cords are hurt, it's hard to use her quirk
  -Covering her mouth with a cloth or anything of that nature prevents her from using said-quirk
  -If she uses Heavy Metal too much she can hurt herself.
  -Eating too much can cause her to not sing too well due to over stuffing.
  -Drinking Alcohol fucks with her singing.

  Personality
  Yui is... Well for one, someone who eats a absolute ton but nothing happens to her. Even though she loves food, she will share, if she feels like it that is. She's also very respectful to others and treats them with the respect they deserve. Her family had always tried to teach her to eat like a Lady, but that never happened with the large appetite she had. She wanted to eat happily and eat a lot, no matter what. Even if it meant being a little messy sometimes. Yui is a happy and cheery soul in the Hero World. She's always the one thinking positive and making all the friends. Nothing really scares her unless its unbearable to look at or gives her an unsettling feeling. Other than that, anyone would know Yui is always running around with a smile on her face, eating, or just being a loud and happy person in general. The funny thing is that sometimes some guys have eating contests with her and they always seem to fail. So don't go into those without an empty stomach, even then, it's possible you wont win.

  Yui is a Rich child, but she doesnt flaunt it or act as if she is all that for having fancy clothes or a fancy home. She's actually quite humble. Her family, however, her mother is a Florist and runs a shop in the city. While her father is a boss to a large medical facility where medicine is made and Patients are taken care of. This has caused her family to grow fairly wealthy and have Yui and her little brother live in happiness.
  
  Yui and her brother were raised properly, especially since their mother had been a commoner with a floral stall at one point. They were taught to be humble and not to do things such as flaunt money and think they are better than anyone else. She would often tell them stories about how she and their father had met. It was a rough start but she somehow broke into that hard heart of his and made him a far better man. Where as their father treats them like delicate glass figurines, he looks out for his children's needs, wants and also tries to do what he can to make them happy through their life. Sometimes he spoils them but he doesn't do it very often. He does what he can as a working father.
  
  Yui has a strong connection with her little brother, being the big sister she is wanting to protect him from all the mean and evil people out there. She wants to help him and guide him in the right direction, show him how to be a strong mage and fight bad guys. She's also close with her mother and father but not as close as she is to her little brother Rin. Rin is a shy boy but he's also very quiet and allows his sister to help him and guide him. Rarely do they fight which is why they have such a close relationship. Rin has the color of his father's hair and his mother's eye color, where as Yui has daddy's brown eyes and mommy's ginger hair that had some pink to it. Though as of late, her eyes seem to change colors, why? No idea, sometimes their blue, sometimes they're brown. Probably just her quirk being weird.
  
  Aside from all this, after developing her quirk and getting into Taiyou, she trained hard. Made lots of friends, potentially made some suffer from over-stuffed stomachs. Many people thought she wouldn't make it with her kind personality and thought that she may cave and drop out. Kaiyo has lean, athletic build in her human form with multiple scars scattered across her body from training and hero related work. She has a couple tattoos, the first being in memory of losing one of her close friends and classmate, Naosawa Hajiro during their second year at Taiyou Academy. The second one because...it looked cool. Finally, the third tattoo is a basic pawprint on her forearm after her cat passed away. She still has fairly long hair, probably a few inches longer from her years at Taiyou.

Similar to how she was in her years at the academy, Kaiyo is still the same friendly and approachable person. Rather than go out of her way to talk to anyone and everyone, she has mellowed out quite a bit, sticking to her regular group of friends. That doesn't mean she's opposed to meeting new people but she's content with her group as it is now. With the help of her family and friends, she has learned to accept her villainous quirk and is determined to use it for good. That being said, through years of training and experience, she no longer holds herself back in combat. Pulling punches or showing mercy only leaves openings and would not benefit her or the other heroes she works with. She seeks to continue growing in the hero field and strives to be an inspiration to those who believe they don't have the appropriate quirk to be a hero.

  The last 4 years at Taiyou has changed Yudai into his current self. He was once known as a grumpy, angered teen whose goal was just to get through school. Yudai now has a different insight on life and his demeanor has changed significantly. Yudai grew more serious over the years, his aura of authority radiating over any room. His anger had faded away, only flaring up in tense situations or at people who he has no patience for. He has a strong passion to bring down crime at any costs, strongly believing the cause of justice. He's known to get intense at times, especially when dealing with villains. Yudai now has a calmer side to him as well, his meditation finally paying off. When it comes to those he cares about, he makes sure to keep them close, his soft side showing. His reconnection with his father seemed to have a positive result in his life, giving Yudai a life to look forward to.

  Yudai has spent the past 2 years at Taiyou, being the most eventful time of his life. He’s bonded with many of his classmates, losing some that have been close to him. Yudai grew up quickly in those years, the school having a great impact on him. He met his love of his life at the school, vowing to protect her at any costs. Being a hero wasn’t his original goal but he enjoys being one now. His completion of his time at the school allowed him to reenter his father’s dojo. He now participates in martial arts tournaments along with his hero work. Getting his father’s approval was a key goal of his and he now spends much of his time catching up with him. His relationship with his mother is still tense but has seen minor improvements. Yudai now tries his best to be a person that people can rely on, eyeing the top of the hero ranking.

  The user can transfer kinetic energy from an outside source into his limbs for a retaliatory attack.
  
  In-Depth:
  The user can transfer kinetic energy. If a punch is thrown at the user, a blocked punch would allow the kinetic energy to transfer into his body for use at another limb. The end result is that his kick or punch has more energy behind it, allowing the user to do more damage and simply have more powerful attacks. The user has to be touching the object or person in order to transfer the kinetic energy from it to be used as an attack. The user can also use it to evade attacks by transferring to their legs to move at a quicker pace or to jump further than usual.
  
  Limitations:
  The quirk is best used in a hand to hand combat situation and is severely lacking in the ability to attack from a distance. As the quirk only transfers kinetic energy, the quirk user is vulnerable to fire, ice, electricity, any non-physical attacks that don't require them to touch the user. Even though they can transfer the kinetic energy of sharp objects as well, the energy transfer isn't always quick enough to stop himself from getting cut. The user is able to transfer energy not store it, if the user holds to that energy for too long, their internal systems start to shutdown and if held in for too long, it could lead to death.
  
  New applications:
  Yudai now uses a weapon, having received many hours of training to properly use it. His blade that he uses is light, allowing him to attack swiftly with it. The blade was designed in a way that would allow him to transfer energy through and from it, increasing his attack capabilities. The blade has limitations with how much energy it can transfer and can shatter if too much moves through it.

  Vance is a well built, muscular, toned man, almost Herculean in appearance. His arms are well defined, showing the power of a man dedicated to physical strength; broad wide chest, tone, but not oversize like most bodybuilders, decent for a man his size. Vance’s abs are also an admirable feature, rippled, tone abs that show years of dedication to his craft of fitness. Surprisingly, he has soft masculine features with a strong jaw line. He speaks with warmth and a self-deprecating manner. His golden blond hair is soft upon touch, his style of choice is choppy unkempt. His green colored eyes have a piercing gaze to them, but even though they seem to cut through you, they are gentle and sympathetic filled with compassion and joy. .

  Vance normally comes across as an extremely energetic, and happy-go-luck individual with some peculiar habits. He has a very optimistic personality which leaves him sporting a smile almost all the time. He understands that great human accomplishment was never achieved without difficulty and error, and one should take every mistake as a lesson. From this understanding he believes the only way to achieve failure is to stop trying.
  
  Vance never allows his laid-back nature to cloud his judgment or impede on his dreams of becoming a hero. He is always constantly looking for new ways to improve his skills and tries to work towards his dreams of become a hero by accumulating different experience to learn from them. It is from those experiences he believes he can raise his potential to strive forward to his dream.
  
  Another admirable quality about Vance his is extreme bravery. His bravery will never faultier in the face of a dangerous situation. Instead, he will face the situation head on with a smile on his face, making the best of the situation, with a cheerful manner. The confidence he possesses in his abilities are overwhelming, he has no doubt in his mind that he can handle anything. Even if the situation plays poorly in his favor, he will find the light from the situation taking a valuable lesson from it.
  
  Due to his energetic and happy go luck nature, he can be viewed as naïve individual who may seem oblivious at times. This is, not the actual case, it's due to his good nature he allows himself to be portrayed as a gullible fool as he tries his best to bring joy and happiness to every occasion.

  Vance Royal was born in Cheshire, England. He grew up in the outskirts of his father’s hometown at their family home, which has been passed down through generations. His father Aaron Royal” is a pro-hero from England; while his mother ”Mistsumi Misato” is a famous pianist from Japan. His parents met purely by chance; when his father was invited to a banquet being held in England, where his mother was invited to perform. Aaron was captivated by Mistsumi performance during the banquet. Once her performance was completed, he finally mustered the courage to approach her and introduce himself. The two spending most of the time throughout the party talking to one another and getting to know the other. The rest of the story wrote itself as the two fell in love and eventually got married; having Vance and ”Olivia”.
  
  Vance grew up in a blessed home with caring parents; However, his life wasn’t without struggle. Vance was born with a quirk too strong for his own body, which left him in a constant fear for his life. When he was younger, he was born with a frail body and because of this he couldn’t regulate the amount of solar energy he could absorb. Thus, causing him to absorb more energy his body could handle causing him to become gravely ill. This forced him to stay hidden inside, hidden away in the darkness, fearing the one thing that made him special.

  BASIC: The ability to absorb solar energy, while removing it from the source, into their body and using it in various ways. This allows the user to gain some form of advantage, by either enhancing themselves, utilizing solar energy as attacks, or even the ability of flight temporarily.
  
  IN-DEPTH:
  Vance quick allows him to absorb solar energy and manipulate the energy at will. By absorbing solar energy from the sun or other various devices, he can conserve the energy within his body and manipulate in various ways. Once he releases the energy from his body, he surrounds himself with an aura of solar energy that can grant him enhanced strength, speed, and durability. He can manipulate the solar energy for attacks in various shapes, sizes, intensities and forms. The most common abilities these are used for are augmented melee strikes, rays of pure solar energy, and temporary enhancements. Exhuming more energy than normal can give him temporary flight for a short time.
  
  SUPER MOVES:
  Burst –This ability allows Vance to emanate solar energy around his body, allowing him to enhance one of his physical capabilities such as speed, strength or durability.
  

  • Burst (Speed) - This allows Vance to drastically increase his speed; While sacrificing his strength to do so.
  • Burst (Power) - This allows Vance to drastically increase his strength; While sacrificing his defense/durability.
  • Burst (Shield) - This allows Vance to drastically increase his durability; While sacrificing his speed.

  Burning Star - This attack causes a burst of energy to radiate from Vance body; temporarily blind people, causing small blind spots to appear in their vision; similar to what happens if you stare at the sun for too long.
  Starry Bolt– This attack allows Vance to project a straight line blast of solar energy from his hand towards a target. Causing concussive damage to it's target and slightly singe them in the process.
  Bursting Ray- This attack allows Vance to send out long, thin blasts of solar energy out from his hands when cupping his hand together, interlacing his fingers with one another as he gathers solar energy from his body. Collapsing his hands on one another causes the energy to burst forth from his grasp sending a flurry of solar energy towards his target(s) like mini homing missiles.
  Rising Sun – By radiating enough solar energy Vance can take flight for a short period of time. Using this for long periods of time will drain him more quickly.
  Dwarven Star- Vance is capable of creating a orb which resembles our sun; the intensity of this ability is dwarfed to the actual sun, but provides light to a darken area as if it was daytime. The more solar energy that is place into the Mini Sun the longer it will linger till that energy dissipates.
  Whipping Flare- This attack allows Vance to create an attack that lashes out like a whip cutting though most solid matter; the maximum range is 20 meters.
  Solar Annihilation - This power allows Vance to dispatch multiple targets at once; by releasing a massive wave of solar energy in every direction at once.
  Supernova – This attack allows Vance to launch a massive, concentrated beam of solar energy from his body, consuming all off the stored energy within him.
  Overdrive - A last ditch effort move that Vance will only resort to in the most dire situation. By absorbing more solar energy then what his body is allotted, he quickly spends it all at once allowing him to use all Three Burst abilities at once.
  

  
  

  
  
  

  Limits

  
  
  Power Source: Vance requires the power of the sun to charge his body, to fully utilize his quirk. There are means to substitute this; but such things are considered fleeting powers to him.
  Nightfall: When the sun retreats for the day, Vance is unable to recharge his quirk leaving him to rely on his reserve energy to get him through the night.
  Energy Reserve: Vance is capable of storing energy within his body for a long period of time. However, this limits the amount of time he can utilize his quirk before his energy reserves is completely depleted. The amount of energy he can store within his body allows him 3 hours worth of quirk usage; depending on how he uses his quirk. This forces him to think carefully on how to utilize his quirk or risk completely draining himself. He is still learning, trying to master his quirk to withhold more energy at a time.
  Overload: Absorbing too much solar energy at once can cause Vance to overload; this will cause his body to start to break down on a cellular level. Overloading himself will force him into a state of recovery. Meaning he won't be able to fully charge his quirk to 100%; until his body fully recovers.
  Overuse: Despite having limitless energy during the day time; continuous use of his quirk can cause his body to start breaking down on a cellular level causing him harm. To avoid this from happening, he needs to stop using his quirk to allow himself time to cool down or risk overheating.
  Solar Depletion: When completely drain of solar energy; Vance enters a weaken state loosing all his strengths/abilities his quirk provides. If this occurs it will take him 2 hours to completely fully charge, compared to charging himself up in 30 seconds.

  Vance dedication to become strong physical and mentally has lead him down the path of material arts. He has a basic understand and Patrice in hand to hand combat. He has also dove into weapon style and found that fighting styles with Halberds to be the most interesting. Because of this interest he has been learning how to fight with a halberd.

  Because his sister was born deaf. Vance dedicated his time to learn sign language to speak with his younger sibling. He is now fluent in signing in ASL, BSL and JSL.

  Olivia is the youngest member of the Royal family and the only member to be born deaf. Her quirk is similar to her mothers compared to her brother whose quirk more resembles her fathers.

Out of the two Nozomi is the one with an actual sense of fashion, so outside of combat she's the one who's most likely to actually give a damn about what she's wearing. On the other hand we have Noriko, who will probably be fine with wearing just about anything as long as it's both comfortable and clean. It's very easy to tell their wardrobes apart.

• PERSONALITY
  For a while now there's been an ever-present war in the world of music, a war between tradition and modernity. Each side will fervently defend their beliefs of superiority over the other, causing an uncountable amount of arguments to spark across the world on a daily basis. Noriko and Nozomi can be best described as physical manifestations of both sides in this feud.
  
  For starters we have Noriko, the loud-mouthed sister with spunk for days. For the most part she talks a special strain of the English language referred to as "shit-talkingese", which mostly consists of cusses and fight offers directed towards anyone in her immediate vicinity. Noriko has sided with the more traditional side of culture, something that's reflected on such things as her cuisine of choice, the kind of clothes she wears and, most importantly, the music she composes and listens to. Out of the two she's the most in-your-face when it comes to the things she loves and as such Noriko will constantly try to get you into enjoying them with her. The main reason behind this is actually fear, times are constantly changing and more often than not we start to ditch that which is considered old in favor of what's new. Even if it means taking up a more abrasive stance in the matter Noriko will do what it takes to ensure that tradition still flows through the country's blood. Other than that despite the fact that she's probably one of the worst picks for a leadership position there's nothing that Noriko loves more than shouting orders to her classmates and poor sister.
  
  Then we have Nozomi, the soft-spoken sister whose cool could freeze even the hottest of fires. Her relaxed demeanor and smooth voice have been known to break through even the hardest of hearts, no matter the circumstances just give her a call and she'll always be there to lend you a helping hand. Unlike her sister, Nozomi has chosen to side herself with modern culture, something greatly displayed by her life choices, though primarily her music. She isn't the type of person to force you into doing something you're uncertain of, Nozomi is more than content with doing whatever at any time. Why? Because in a way she knows she has won, modernity is here to stay, failing to adapt to the ever-changing times will only lead to disappointment and pain. This does translate into her being much more lax when it comes to doing stuff her sister enjoys sometimes, though she is no stranger to chastising Noriko for her reckless attitude. Also, notice that I said sometimes, Nozomi will still fight with tooth and nail in order to do something she enjoys. The role of the leader doesn't exactly mesh well with her style, she's more like a helpful advisor that's happy to follow orders.
  
  Despite all the mentioned differences these sisters share they are also surprisingly alike. For example, despite what looks may say both sisters are extremely cautious when it comes to combat. Neither of them will ever jump in blindly, their actions are more often than not meticulously calculated in order to ensure the safety of each other. This should be obvious, but despite their constant bickering they wholeheartedly love one another, though they'll never openly show this. They are also both extremely smug and will gladly rub a victory into someone else's face, though Noriko is far more direct while Nozomi opts for a more passive-aggressive stance. They also have a huge inclination towards having fun and enjoying life to the fullest (In their own respective ways of course) which has caused difficulties in the past when it comes to the academic life because neither of them is very responsible when it comes to their studies.
  
  BIOGRAPHY
  The birth of Noriko and Nozomi took place thanks to the union between Eiichi Hasegawa (A male pro-hero with an electric based quirk) and Yua Sato (A female pro-hero with the ability to perfectly shapeshift). Since the very start did both of them never get along, but considering how inexperienced they were with their quirk back then both of the girls ended up suffering a lot. Fights for control were constant, with arguments being capable of lasting a whole day. As a result the girls were constantly dealing with sleep depravation, poor grades and a general lack of friends. Despite all of this both Eiichi and Yua never once flinched in the face of this adversity, and would consistently stand by their daughters side, aiding them every step of the way through their early years.
  
  By the time they had started junior school both girls had already been able to sort out their erratic start. Arguments would still be had of course (A trend we see to this day), but their severity had drastically decreased and by now both girls had developed their switching system in order to satisfy both parties. It's around these years that each of the girls ended up taking their respective cultural sides. Noriko's passion for tradition awoke during the Gion festival in Kyoto while Nozomi's passion for modernity awoke during the Fuji Rock festival in Naeba. While the rivalry between the two had deepened due to these events it still never became as harmful as their early days. As a matter of fact they were able to find a certain middle ground in the form of drumming, a practice present in both sides of culture that Noriko and Nozomi ended up falling in love with simply due to "how cool it looked". By the time they turned 16 both girls had their eyes set on a career as a hero, which leads us to...

  DESCRIPTION
  Part A
  The most obvious effect this quirk has directly ties to the girls' very existence. To put it as simple as possible, a single body is being shared by two very different personalities, Noriko and Nozomi. Only one of these personalities is allowed to properly control the body at a time, while the second one is relegated to "a mere thought" that has no direct input on the body's actions, though it is still capable of experiencing the 5 senses. Still, the personality not in control is still able to input a single action: talking. Even if Nozomi is in control Noriko will still be able to able to talk in real time using her own voice right out of Nozomi's mouth.
  
  In order to make it fair for themselves the personality dominating the body will switch each day, a deal that has so far been uphold by both girls. The switch between both personalities takes about a full minute, during which time the body must remain perfectly still, otherwise it will fail. In order for the switch to happen in the first place though both personalities must be in complete agreement, it ain't a one sided deal.
  
  The most obvious way to see who's in control is to view the appearance of the body, though another way is the usage of their quirk's combative side.
  
  Part B
  Simply put both sisters are capable of generating a vast amount of electricity through their hands. They are, however, not impervious to being damaged by said electricity and as a result two special sets of drumsticks have been designed for each sister. Said sticks act as perfect conductors for their quirk to be utilized with great effectiveness, though each sister has a very different way of utilizing their powers:
  
  Lets start with Noriko, her drumsticks are designed to look exactly like taiko drumsticks. In her case she has chosen to develop her skills with the quirk in the most devastatingly offensive way she could. Noriko's attacks are meant to inflict as much pain as she possibly can, bringing absolutely no kind of support into a mission. So far these all the attacks she's been able to master:
  -By smacking both drumsticks together a large bolt of electricity is fired towards a desired location, the feeling of being struck by said bolt has been described as: "Every single of inch of your body getting hit at once.". While undoubtedly devastating the range of this attack barely surpasses 16 meters before completely dissipating, plus she can't actually just spam these and must wait around 5 second before being able to fire another.
  
  -By smashing both drumsticks against the floor a powerful "wave" of electricity is summoned to move forward for about 5 meters, coming into contact with said wave often causes the affected party to be sent hurling back, giving Noriko more breathing room. The wave's appearance closely resembles that of the "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" and it stands at 4 meters high and width of 6 meters. There's a 40 second cooldown between each wave.
  
  -Noriko's most devastating attack is quite straightforward actually, she simply hits her desired target with both drumsticks at the same. The electric discharge is so severe that should Noriko wish to go for the attack's full length (Around 30 seconds of being in constant contact with the target's body) most of her victims have been left with smoke emanating from their poor bodies. This attack has no cooldown, however constant abuse of it will end up destroying the drumsticks.
  
  Now Nozomi, her drumsticks are designed in a more traditional way. Unlike her sister, Nozomi has opted to develop the quirk's more supportive side, thus she ends up working best in group scenarios or during missions involving the direct safety of civilians. Additionally, in order to facilitate the use of her powers, Nozomi has had a gadget developed exclusively for her own use. Said gadget consists of a hexagonal set of drums capable of hovering around her. Apart from facilitating aiming, this gadget is meant to soak up any excess electricity to ensure a consistent use of her first ability. Speaking of which, so far these are the abilities Nozomi has been able to master:
  
  -By smacking one of her hexagonal drums a small ball of lightning is fired towards Nozomi's desired location. While not too damaging to the human body each ball comes packing a powerful shocking effect akin to that of a taser, said effect lasts for around 5 seconds. A single ball is able to be fired each second and are capable of covering around 35 meters before dissipating. Note that stronger opponents will be easily able to shrug off the effects of this attack.
  
  -By closing her eyes and lightly tapping on her drums Nozomi is able to use a radar effect similar to echolocation. She's basically capable of detecting the electrical signals present in every living being's brain, pinpointing someone's location with perfect accuracy. Nozomi has developed this skill as a way to track injured civilians that are stuck under debris.
  
  -The final of her skills pretty much turns her drumsticks into an AED. Nozomi is able to discharge an extremely controlled charge into a patient's body, successfully being able to stabilize her patient's heartbeat. Note that this skill will NOT restart a flatlining heart, as a matter of fact it only makes the situation worse. This skill is mostly meant to be used on injured civilians who have been damaged to the point in which their heartbeats have become either too fast or too slow.
  
  LIMITATIONS
  -While physically fit the main body is still completely human, meaning that factors such as speed and strength are only slightly above average.
  -Damage done to the main body carries over even after a personality switch.
  -Without either of the drumstick sets (And drum set in Nozomi's case) Noriko's and Nozomi's electrical powers not only become much more unpredictable, but also end up harming them (Specially in Noriko's case).
  -Seeing how only one of the sisters is able to use the body at a time training their respective quirk uses becomes much tougher compared to the average student.

  With a mother who despised quirks, whether they proved to be good or bad for society, Hotaru had felt unloved during his childhood. Well, that would be the case if his father wasn't in the picture. Hotaru's father wasn't distraught at all when the family found out that their six-year old child was a quirk holder. In fact, his father was elated by the news, that such a fortuitous thing had happened to their family.
  
  Hotaru's mother saw it differently and instead of rejoicing, blamed the blemish that was her son on her husband. The two divorced, with Hotaru's father going through with it reluctantly. It didn't help that Hotaru's sister, Mai, had just been born in the past year. Their father had to go through a lot hardship just to be able to provide enough for the family now that his wife was gone. This had caused Hotaru to be utterly disgusted of his mother and her namesake. He severed all his ties from his mother's side, not wanting to remember her.
  
  Somewhere along the way, during Hotaru's junior high years, his mother returned and she had remarried. Her new husband was a rich foreigner, and she came back to get Mai. Only her. By then, his sister was already past the age of having signs of a quirk developing. It meant that she was a normal child in their mother's eyes. Hotaru was furious, but he was even more infuriated at his dad. His father didn't stand up against the idea and instead encouraged Hotaru to join them. His decision from earlier had backfired as he couldn't ask for his grandmother's help since he had disconnected himself from the Naosawa family.
  
  However, his father had told him to seize this opportunity. It was also because he couldn't keep doing what he had been doing. He was getting older and soon, all the jobs he had taken just so he could put food on the table would become too much to bear. Hotaru was upset but he understood his father's dilemma. However, getting his mother to let him go wasn't easy. She accepted under one deal, that as long as he was with them, that he would never use his quirk. He agreed for his father's sake, and they were off to Germany.
  
  Life in Germany wasn't exactly the dream he had imagined despite being under the same roof as a wealthy native. Hotaru was an outcast in the new school he had attended because he appeared to be quirkless in a sea of arrogant quirk-holding students. When things got tense between the students and him, he couldn't fight back with his powers. He'd often get beat up and the staff didn't care since he wasn't from there.
  
  To put salt on the wound, his mother was as cold as ever towards him, his only comfort was his kind younger sister, painfully watching from the sidelines as all of this transpired. Then one day, his sister went and stood up for his brother in his place. She was tired of seeing him come home with bruises and bloody wounds. Afterwards, she never came back home. It was likely that she was kidnapped, and even pro-heroes were useless in tracking her down. Apparently a supernatural villanous entity had a hand in the incident.
  
  Hotaru grieved at what had taken place, he blamed himself for everything and so did his mother. She was about to send him back straight to Japan until his stepfather proposed he find his sister, seeing how his wife was so livid. He told Hotaru to put his power to use, he'd even pay for any classes that would aid him in his task.
  
  That was how Hotaru came to attend a hero school, though it was a less prominent one and in Germany. Despite the taunting and the ridicule he received in his time there, he was focused on moving closer to his ultimate goal. Then it just so happened that a Japanese hero agency was looking for potential interns in his school. He looked the most promising to them and they promised that in return for him working for them, they'd help somewhat in locating his sister. He had regained a sense of hope, but a lingering feeling of dread was there due to the thought that she might already be dead.
  

  
  
  PERSONALITY

  
  Hotaru is a pretty quiet, dilligent, and polite individual. Only speaking if it's necessary, not wanting to waste words. He's almost calming or soothing to be around, with an aura of sophistication mixed in. Unfortunately, it could also be read as arrogance. Some people also see him as a boring, rule-abiding person, and a little bit of a party killer. He never rats people out, he's not a snitch but he wouldn't break even a lax rule in exchange for some fun.
  
  However, this is a major problem as his voice, ideas and thoughts are sometimes overpowered by others who are more "outgoing."
  
  Despite that he's pretty easy to get along with as long as things between the other person and him stay surface-level. He doesn't like to be personal and he's uncomfortable building intimacy with someone new, probably due to his mother never loving him and the constant alienation he endured when he was in Germany.
  
  As soft-spoken as he is, he doesn't hold back in the battlefield, especially when assessing his teammates. He can be a bit cold and blunt during this, not caring if he gets someone's feelings hurt. Don't get the wrong idea though, he doesn't intentionally tear people down or ruin their spirits without reason.
  
  He gains no satisfaction from that. The only time criticism would fly out of his mouth is if he firmly believes that his judgement would be used by the other person for improvement.
  
  He is rarely ever shaken and has a strong composure but if he ever breaks, it wouldn't be a pretty sight.

  DESCRIPTION Stylist is a versatile quirk that gives its holder the ability to convert energy into tangible thread. How it's produced is similar to how spiders make their silk webs. In this case, the user, by focusing intently on imagining the thread, can produce it by closing their hands. How it's distributed depends on which hand the user tried imagining the thread in and if that hand was closed during the concentration.
  
  For example, following the reasoning, if both hands are imagined to have thread inside them, then the thread will undoubtedly appear. If the right hand is the one that's being focused on, then the thread will appear in that particular hand, vice versa. Not closing the hand but still trying to imagine the thread, will not convert the energy and rather give the user a short, exhausted feeling. There must be a container, in this situation, the closed fist, for the energy to form or "cook" into thread.
  
  Exactly one spool of thread will appear for every five minutes of concentration.
  
  Spirit Thread: The thread that's produced, it is made entirely out of the holder's energy. It's silver in color but emits a blue glow.
  
  However, all of this is just the first part. The second part to all of this is having a needle at one's disposal. The holder if lacking a regular needle in their current situation, can craft one at the expense of a lot of their energy. It would be good luck, if after making the needle, they don't feel super fatigued. This "Spirit Needle" is also temporary, and will vanish in thirty minutes.
  
  Now having these two things, the quirk holder can assume a support/offensive role in any situation. The user can combine things by stitching parts together. They can make their amalgamation come alive by making a mark on them (hence Hotaru's hero name.)
  
  Soul Mark: A special stitch, recognizable with a circle and a diamond inside it. It can bring inanimate objects to life and if used on other living beings, produce a brain-washed effect. It essentially transfers the will of the quirk holder to the target.
  
  As malicious as that sounds, the quirk holder doesn't have to resort to those means, the thread when not in the "Soul Mark" form can also be used for medical reasons especially for closing wounds or bringing together detached limbs. Unfortunately, the thread while miraculously making it possible to do those things, only serves as a stopgap.
  
  Although this process can be repeated as long as there's still supplies to keep the stopgap going. This support type aspect of the quirk is not only limited to helping others but can also be of great benefit to the quirk holder themselves when they need their own injuries temporarily fixed.
  
  LIMITATIONS
  
  If both of the quirk holder's hands are cut off, then it's game-over. However, if only one hand is cut off, it's possible to stitch it back and keep it at bay until professional help appears to fix the root of the problem.
  
  Disruption of the concentration process or causing the hands to open accidently will not form the thread and will exhaust the quirk holder.
  
  Prolonged concentration, let's say at least twenty minutes without even stopping for a few seconds, will cause the user to blackout. Nevertheless, even if they do blackout but still kept their hands closed and focused until the end, they would have generated a lot of thread.
  
  The thread is only temporary and will vanish via light and heat energy after an hour. Like food, this secreted item eventually spoils in a way.
  
  The thread cannot be sewn into metal or similarly impenetrable surfaces.
  
  Not eating and drinking water can inhibit the user from making thread. As long as there's insufficient energy, nothing can happen.
  
  One part needs the other, if there's no needle, the thread would be useless, as would the needle without the thread.
  
  The "Soul Mark" is like with the others, temporary. After 10 minutes, it begins to wear off, it gives the quirk holder time to extend the "free trial" of their control if they so choose by stitching another mark.

PERSONALITY
Fun in the Fray - There are few things more exciting and fun for Kakure than a fight, especially a tough fight, and the more the marrier. She lives for the thrill of combat, a situation that is life or death, kill or be killed, win or be forgotten. This is the thrill she often seeks, even when she does not know she is seeking it and is the drive behind most of her actions. She wants a perfect world of the strong, where those with strength can battle to their heart’s content in contests that will determine the fate of the world.

Strong Willed – Once her mind is made up, that will is iron-clad, impenetrable by simple means. The same can be said for her mental fortitude when it comes to stress or other aggravated measures of will testing. This will is basically exuded from her, infecting those around her, bolstering them it would seem.

Aggravated by the Weak – Nothing in this world is more disgusting than the weak and pathetic, those that cannot protect themselves, or those that must be saved by others and lack the strength to do so themselves. Whenever a weakling is revealed to her that does not have the will to grow, they must be destroyed.

Goal Oriented – Kakure always has a goal in mind, whether it is small or big, that does not matter. The entire purpose of the goal is to keep her focused, set her on the path. Everything she does has a purpose and is toward a goal, as you do not become the leader of an alleged criminal cult by not having a plan.

DESCRIPTION Creature of Night – Kakure becomes more powerful at night, becoming more agile and much harder to kill, as the dark rushes to heal wounds and remove fatigue from her body while enhancing her. During the day, she takes on the properties of an athletic, but otherwise normal human.

Create Darkness – Kakure is able to create darkness from her body, allowing it to spread enough to completely darken a large building (10 stories/4500 sq.ft, or create a dome of darkness 50 meters in diameter if it has no space to fill. Direct sunlight in a large amount will diminish the darkness after about 10 seconds (or abilities/items that can mimic sunlight) in an amount that could overwhelm the darkness, otherwise it merely acts the same as a flashlight or candle would, lightening the immediate area, but deepening the darkness outside of that light radius.

Control Darkness – Natural Darkness that she can see can be manipulated to become larger, smaller, darker or lighter depending on how she feels it should be. Additionally, she can move shadows or stretch them, so long as they do not enter any kind of lit area.

Become Darkness – Kakure can envelop herself in any shadow that she is standing in, so long as its big enough for a human to hide in, becoming concealed. She becomes the shadow until a strong light is shown on her, causing the concealment to weaken, but not disappear, giving her a grey appearance like she is not completely there. Additionally, by becoming a shadow, she can pass through any solid object, but will need time to recharge (5 mins for every foot of solid object passed through).

Shadow Walk – She can teleport through any shadow to another shadow in sight, so long as it is roughly the shape of a human (medium sized shadow). Also works in total darkness, but not in natural darkness (nighttime) unless there are shadows.

Trick – Can make shapes and objects appear in the darkness as if they were something else (think clothes on a chair during the day, but they appear to be a person sitting and watching you at night.) Can also make objects appear larger or smaller than they are by a little bit (few inches).

Fear – Can create creatures of the underworld (illusions) that move autonomously. These can range from Shadowy Humanoid looking creatures, to demons and ghouls. They are always black in color or shadowed.

Domain of the Underworld – True expression of her quirk. Kakure can create a Domain, an area where her abilities are increased. Those within the Domain are truly dragged into Yomi, the Underworld, a seemingly vast hellscape full of shadows, demons, pain, flame, and violence. Here the shadows can become physical, the demons are not tricks, and she is in complete control of the surroundings. While technically an illusion, it is so powerful an illusion that it forces the mind to make it real, thus all the damage is real as well. Aside from creating darkness, her limitations are removed.
