Estellise is a serious and straitlaced girl who expects everyone to also act accordingly. It really isn’t uncommon for her to be critical of others, although she normally doesn’t actually say it straight to their face since she figures that her doing so wouldn’t change anything anyway. In fact, the only thing that can really get her to put her exasperation into action is uncleanliness. Essi has a very cautious nature and is slow to put her complete trust into others. She views everyone—even children—as suspicious until proven to be otherwise. She tends to dislike flamboyant people as she’s the no-nonsense type. This no-nonsense actually also extends to myths as she’s a bit of a realist who prefers logic and careful calculation over the supernatural and instincts. Despite her shortcomings, Essi’s one good point would be that she’s hard working. Perhaps this is only because she’s especially critical of her own weaknesses, but at least she’s not completely unmotivated.

    Sparks - Finger Bullet: By going into a stance similar to the drawing stance for kyudo, Essi is able to form something like an arrow made of concentrated electricity. The problem is that with her current level, much of the arrow’s energy is dispersed before it even reaches the target making it more for stunning rather than damage for now. This ability actually works better when used with an actual bow. [Finger Bullet -> Stinger -> Arc Shot -> Crescent Shot -> Siege -> Fireworks -> Wolf]

Calista is someone who essentially has a very keen sense of self. She is aware of her faults, her flaws, her charms and her greatest strengths, and accepts them all the same. Those are simply the pieces that ultimately make up her entire existence, pieces that no matter how ugly, broken, or even damaged they may be, she will keep close. With such an understanding, Calista often carries a silently brewing aura of undeniable confidence as she prowls through the more narrow paths of the forest. Head held high, the feline has very little to be ashamed or fearful about - perhaps it is this quality within her that draws trouble towards her in challenge.



Like many of her kin, Calista can often be one who likes to slowly move along the path of life. Unwilling to get things done swiftly, Calista would much rather laze about, and enjoy the afternoon sun rather than tend to the duties that are demanded of her in timely fashion. The feline is often stubborn when she believes that she is in the right, or when she absolutely refuses to go along with the plans that she simply cannot agree with. When in such a mood, Calista easily retreats into a more regal, and majestic persona, seeking to intimidate and perhaps fool herself into position of power. Like she'd ever admit to her indecisiveness to others out loud.



She is unlikely to share most of her thoughts, a more guarded and private person she is, but if one can truly reach to her, they can easily tell the feline's mood and even her intentions with simply her body language and through the eyes her tribe is so famously known for. Calista is undoubtedly someone who's very prideful, but just quiet enough to not pass off as obnoxious or immature. A godsend, many would tell you.








Meet



Biography


Calista was born just beyond the embrace of the forests, on the dry sands, with the moon hung in the high sky. It was unheard of for one of their tribe to do such a thing, to bear one of their own beyond the reach of the leaves that offered them all their haven. Calista has never been told the whole story, so sadly, she too is left in the dark about this matter. She believes that it was just something that happened at the wrong time and wrong place for now, though the rest of her kin seem to be puzzled over the matter at times as well.



However, some also suspect that Calista simply did not belong in the tribe. The unorthodox lack of birthing ritual aside, many within the tribe were wary of her, of someone who was an outsider, no matter how her blood may have connected her to the roots of the clan. There was a reason that the forest beared the ominous title of 'Hell'; they hardly received visitors, and should any that resemble as such dare to enter, it was very unlikely for them to reach deep enough for the tribe's scouts to catch a sniff of them. So Calista's arrival, some had said, was an omen of sorts, of things to come, though in a larger, and perhaps worse, magnitude.



Such a belief was worrying, especially when Calista began to grow up. Many still held onto doubt even as they handed the girl her very first bow, reluctantly accepting the fact that she was one of them, and thus was to be taught as one who shall become something greater with the rest of tribe. For a while, everything seemed to be fine. Calista had made friends here and there; the wary looks and doubt something only the older kin concerned themselves with. For a few years, Calista easily proved herself to be one who was truly born within the embrace of the leaves, settling some of the more aggressive of those who were concerned.



However, as she neared the end of her teenage years, there was one glaring and blinding difference that set Calista off from the rest of the tribe. One so great that those of her age had also become very concerned with Calista's position within the tribe. As those who grew up with her eventually reached adulthood, their eyes brimming with a different kind of life, a foreign power that signified their coming of age, Calista herself remained 'powerless' until just very recently. And unfortunately, in only her left eye

Light Body


Due to her natural build, Calista is just generally light all around, allowing her to quickly twist, turn or spring as needed. She is quick on her feet, her hands perhaps even faster. It is also easier for Calista to balance herself, righting herself while in mid-air most times.



Feline Senses


While not as strong, or predatory, as other feline, the petite feline don't fall behind when it concerns smell or hearing. For Calista though, as is a trait within her tribe, their eyesight is undeniably much stronger than most land-prowling animals.






Unbalanced Vision

Somewhat uncontrollable, when the ability does flare up, the feline has little to no experience fighting with A) one eye, or B) double-like-vision, and as a result is handicapped whenever this incident may occur.

Not exactly the best hand to hand combatant, while Calista has done a considerable amount of training, mostly basic self-defense, she along with many others are among the weakest when left on their own without a bow and arrow in sight.

Hunter's Divination


The one thing that proves if one belongs within the tribe are the eyes of their fellow kin. Everyone in the tribe has the eyes that can show the future, if only mere seconds, shadows, of it. It's one of the more protected secrets within the tribe, not all of their flexibility and uncanny ability to slip away relies on their natural instinct, they've been cheating, and they don't plan on telling anyone anytime soon. Calista only has the left eye, the other yet to come, but already the eye itself flares up more often than not, surely whoever shares the burden with her can balance out and make use of the ability.






Rippling Rush


A buff. Depending on whatever the receiver decides to use to apply physical harm, Rippling Rush generally applies a heavy weight to the victim or target when the receiver lands or hits its mark. With arrows, while it may pierce - or bounce off - the strength will initially hit before spreading, rippling, all across the target's body - as best as it can of course. It works so much better with actual body parts though. Calista uses this to spring jump easier and for longer airtime. [Water Element.]

Evans is someone who looks and acts like a complete arrogant douche. It's natural for him to simply swagger into the most odd and even dangerous of situations with nothing more than a devilish grin, while hiding concealed arms all over his body, of course. His confidence, arrogance, stems from the fact that Evans is someone who never acts unless he has compiled all the necessary information regarding the situation. He is someone who, despite his shit eating grin, is very throughout, intelligent, and flexible, and that's without adding his capabilities into the equation.



Even as a young child, Evans had quite the insatiable thirst for the unknown, the hidden things, and the knowledge forgotten by most. One could say that he was a curious child. However, as he grew up, his life was cluttered by normality, shackled by society norms. It was frustrating to even walk upon the streets and simply watch the other people actually settle for such an unfulfilling life. And so, he set off on his own, determined to find whatever it was that would bring some sort of color in his otherwise very dull world. Evans is ultimately someone who is very selfish, and priorities himself over most things, without too much regret.



Some way or another, he eventually made his way to the underground, and it was then that color had finally made its way into the greyscaled world he lived in. Twisted, and unshackled, Evans grew to be someone who was very efficient, good at finding the weaknesses, the failures, the flaws and trapping those who thought they were untouchable. Of course, seeing as he made it this far, he has his own set of codes to follow, allies who've he's made understandings with, but even so, Evans refuses to settle for mediocrity, aiming only to prosper.



He always has something up his sleeve, even in the most dire of situations, he often claims that he's only wherever he wishes to be.

Biography


Growing up was boring. Evans had very little interest in mingling with other people, too impatient to watch and hear them spin their stories. Learning was something that he did with glee though. As a curious child, he was often praised as a bright child, obedient and well liked by the teachers who honestly would've liked just about any quiet and listening child. He had little troubles with other students, only keeping his distance, not liking the idea of getting mixed up with people who grated his nerves more often than not. However, as he moved onto high school, his apathetic and silent smug attitude was picked up, and rubbed against the wrong people.



The altercation left a hefty dent in Evans' records, but he cared little about it. It was honestly the first time he had experienced an adrenaline rush, where the unknown, the unpredictable outcome, had wrapped around his mind more tightly than any stupid math equation or chemical formula could have ever hoped to. He became addicted to such a high, and so he continued on, right from where the fight had ended. It began with simply provoking a few knuckleheads here and there, until he got his hands on a few burner phones. He thoroughly enjoyed the year where he had continuously sent some 'harmless' pranks, pictures and messages that, as stupid as they sounded, were creepy as fuck at times.



Once he graduated though, his primary target - who wasn't stupid enough to not recognize the devouring smile on graduation night - had moved on and Evans was left bored for quite some time. He moved on then, to educate himself further in whatever direction he pleased. Only this time, he didn't settle for too long, fed up at last with the unfulfilling life he was leading, he began digging around until he stumbled upon just the right thing.



Disappearing from the world entirely, he moved himself underground, and began his life anew. He wasn't there just for the excitement, no. He found a purpose, he found his own way to socialize with the people who had no need or want to spin their tales for themselves, people who craved the same kind of knowledge, people who would fight for the right cause. It was enlightening, and honestly, he would rather prefer it here, where no light shines through, rather than the outside, where the light had blinded and lied to him for such a long time.

Evans was friends with a few people from Vigilance, a ruthless organization well known for gathering information and using it to strike deals, negotiate ... honestly, something that Evans did most of the time, though he could only ever dream to have such power and confidence to pull off something against more powerful people. He was recruited for a bit, as he was recommended by the few that he knew. He had taken on the name AGN - Aegean - while on such trips for the organization, and the many others he had come to know.



However, on the last recent run he made with the rest of them, a simple in and out to capture a runaway target, it seemed that the target wasn't as helpless as they would have liked to think. At the last possible second, it was revealed that they were ex black ops. Yeah, they were way over their heads on this one, they had retrieved the information and Evans had at least a 15 minute cracking at it before they were all captured. The rest hadn't read the information that Evans had - he wasn't done and they weren't bright enough to even understand the bits and pieces let alone connecting them - and were killed. Evans though, had only been told, "You're going on a trip. You've read about hell, now let's see you crawl through it."



Well then. No better way than to walk through it yourself, right?

Street Brawler


There is a distinct difference between official matches, drunken brawls and actual street fighting. You pick up invaluable experiences on these streets, how to fight dirty, slip away fast enough, and more importantly, how to avoid getting knifed - too much, or in anywhere important at least. Of course, there's also a difference between wildly swinging and getting in close enough for at least one good punch. Thankfully, Evans is of the latter. Anyone's who's had actual training - textbook style, scoff, eye roll - may face a bit of trouble, but can still soundly kick his ass for sure.






Ninja In Training


First thing street kids learn is to find all possible escape routes no matter where they may be, or heaven forbid, go to. Thankfully, with a height advantage over some, Evans can not only spot them as well as any street brat, but actually go through with the escape plan with a few extra minutes to spare most of the time. It's a bit of parkour, but not as incredible sadly, but he can blend in much better that way, so it's a win win.

Shit aim. It's not like he was ever hired because he was needed to get something dead. Of course, guns are something more of his game, but it doesn't help by much. Hand him a ball though, a spear, a coin, a pencil or anything as such, it's bound to go way off. Even the fucking fish the pond don't get to eat because this guy ends up dropping it on his feet or the other side of the small koi pond.

When fighting, Evans is often stationary, never really moving all around too often. Only his hands move, his legs every so often. His balance and physical flexibility is only sub-par. Perfect target for backup snipers and the like - in kemonomimi I guess.

Personality
Altair, like most of his tribe members, is not a stranger to giving hospitality. Though he’s pretty
very possessive of non-material things, when it comes to material things like toys, books or his bed, Altair is plenty generous. Which is probably strange when you remember his habit of collecting random things that interest him. If you ask him about the contradicting traits, Altair would probably just give you this confused look as if you had just asked if the sky was green. It’s just who he is. He likes giving things. And he also likes finding things. In his head, there’s not much “but” to it.


He’s also one of those dreadful morning people. All happy and ready to go with optimism seemingly oozing from their pores. Sometimes, you’ll find him cracking jokes at the most volatile people as if he couldn’t tell they they want to kill him.



But no, he’s not a ditzy idiot who doesn’t know what to do when life spits out it’s curveballs. He’s just someone who knows what he wants or does want and steamrolls over any obstacles that get in his way. This almost...merciless trait of his is probably what made his tribe members worry the most. His habit of stopping at nothing until he reaches his goal could very easily turn dark.



So it gave the elders a great sense of relief when their wildcard youngster started to develop a protective streak for his precious people over his curiosity. It didn’t keep him completely out of trouble of course. The elders couldn’t dream of trying to stop the driven youngster from attempting to explore every nook and cranny of their valley. But it did, keep him from making their deepest fears come true. Something that, now, he wouldn’t even dream of doing. Turning against his tribe.



After all...it has happened to them before.

  • Fast as hell Altair and his tribe members are well-known for their swift wings and feet. Light and speedy, the Will of Hestia are a hard bunch to catch with their honed reflexes and senses. It’s not a great and miraculous skill for members of the Will of Hestia to perform feats of acrobatics both on the ground and in the air.


    Hits like a bitch While with just raw strength alone, the Will of Hestia members can’t beat an elephant, they can pack quite a punch when they utilize their speed. Coming down with all the talons on their hands and feet, the tribe members are quite vicious for ones with such light bones.


    Avian senses While the tribe’s sense of smell is clearly lacking, their sharp ears and eyes make up for the handicap that many other tribes don’t have to deal with. Their sharp and finely tuned sense of hearing lets them hear a vast range of sounds while their eyes lets them see great distances and detail. The tribe cannot, however, see in the dark.
