Concept - Background
My character is a Moonsilver Caste spy-assassin, named "Mercurial Blade of Justice".
His anima banner looks like quicksilver pouring inside an elegant wheel with razor edges, making it spin, while sounds of liquid running with great force echo in the background. His motivation is to rise in the secret hierarchy of the Moonsilver caste (a.k.a Razors of Autocthon, Proteans) while dispensing the Great Maker's righteous justice wherever duty calls.
He believes (as taught by his mentor) himself to be a tool of justice in the great "factory" that is the world of the Great Maker.
He's willing and able to neutralize threats both from without and within, threats against his peers (Assembly of Champions in which he's assigned) and against the people and areas where he is currently assigned. (as per the introductory post).
His body is elegantly crafted with smooth organic lines tracing along it, his moves swift and his appearance almost hypnotic to look at. Adaptable by nature, rapidly shifting courses of action and opinions in order to support his group better and respond rapidly and optimally to unexpected situations and mission complications. Good for company even though silent and distracted at times. Special operations are a personal favorite of his, since he feels fullfilling his purpose while carrying them out. At times he may be unpredictable, managing to surprise opponents, create opportunities for his comrades-in-arms, pass on delicate information and swiftly terminate any threats to the security of the nation.
Mercurial Blade of Justice became aware of the secret hierarchical network of the Razors of Autochthon by the time of his awakening at the vats. His would-be mentor (an older and more established Moonsilver caste that sees potential in him) , was waiting for the young Mirrorblade to shape him into an effective and discreet instrument of righteous justice. Knowing that at times secrecy would be required and also that infiltration in enemy territory undercover would deny his student obvious weapons and armor, the older Protean decided to initiate his young student in the realm of martial arts.
The Perfected Lotus Matrix forever embedded into him, the young Mirrorblade found his adaptable frame getting used to moves of quicksilver speed, lightning reflexes, devastating power all coming from a natural finesse and refined sense of combat application. His name also reflects both his higher purpose (motivation) and his special fighting style. Mercurial by nature of his caste, blade by virtue of his preferable weapon in conjuction with the martial art he practices (Lord of Dogma style), of Justice responding to his higher calling. A wise choice by his mentor, this style encompasses close quarters combat both in cases where overt use of weapon is allowed and in secretive operations where he cannot be seen carrying or utilizing weapons. In the latter case (where no weapon can be carried), none is needed, for the practicioner becomes a living weapon instead.
