Steve is a human standing at 6' (1.83 m), making him taller than the average 14-year-old human male. He typically wears a T-shirt, blue jeans, and sneakers.

Personality: Steve is a friendly and selfless boy who cares about others and believes in being fair to others. He has a knack for being calm under pressure and he often gives words of encouragement to those who feel down or depressed. While he doesn't set out to start trouble, he will immediately take action if someone hurts his friends. He is also a very responsible person, taking care of his younger siblings while their parents go on adventures. At the same time, he is very adventurous.
History: Steve was born to a pair of adventurers as the eldest of four. While they both leave on adventures, sometimes together, they both make as much time for their family as possible. They have trained Steve over time so that he can take care of himself and his siblings while they are away. He has also made a good many friends and he is quite popular with the opposite sex. As the story opens, he is taking care of his siblings while his parents are away on an adventure.

Personality: May is an artistic soul. She finds comfort in doodling and isn't overy confident talking to strangers. She's a bit of a daddy's girl, always asking him for advice despite most of it being a bit questionable. Despite her initial quiteness she's got a fire inside and a loyal friend.
History: Her human mother died giving birth so her father gave up his life as a pirate to raise her. He's not a particularly good father but you can tell he does care about May. Over the years he's trained her how to defend herself and the basics for taking care of herself. He hopes she can live a more normal life than him. While she never had many friends she hopes she can find a best friend at this new school.
