Harper simply followed with her hands still stuffed in her pockets, listening to Laurel speak as she became lost in her own thoughts. I'm sure the campers are fine, Harper tried to convince herself as chatter from the other campers became louder, it's not like this isn't the first time that a group of demigods have gone missing to go on some adventure. Things like this happen... I think.

The demigod snapped out of her train of thought just as Remi passed by her on his way to the pavilion. She watched for a moment, wondering if she ever really talked to him before. Behind Remi, Harper watched as Hunter began messing with Travis and go sit down at a nearby table. Finally, the last person she recognized to pass them was Jethro, who looked like he just walked straight out of the ocean. Lately, it seemed like she has been paying attention to every camper around her in a dumb attempt to see if they happen to know anything about the missing campers. Harper sighed as the three girls neared the pavilion, and as Laura mentioned to them to keep things a secret, the demigod nodded her head and watched as Laura turned her heal to go talk with the other girls from Aphrodite. The daughter of Poseidon took her hands out of her pockets and decided to become more cheerful instead of letting herself become gloomy. Harper clapped her hands together and made her way into the pavilion, beckoning Elodie to follow her when the child of Apollo just stood there.

Harper passed by Raleigh Akagi, who seemed to be lost in thought, and patted his hooded head softly in a matter of friendly teasing. She wasn't close friends with him either, but it looked like he needed a good cheering up.

Well, everyone at the camp needed a good cheering up, now that Harper thought about it.

Eventually Harper made it to the table where Travis and Hunter were sitting at, unaware of their conversation about the missing campers. It was only a table or so away from the other campers she greeted, and one table ahead Harper could hear Laura laugh loudly at a particularly raunchy joke a camper was telling. The demigod grinned, and giving a quick glance at Elodie, took a seat right next to Travis and Hunter. Harper looked over at Elodie tapped on the empty space next her in invitation before she looked over at Travis and grinned.

"I'm surprised you're up this early, thunderbolt. What weather predictions does the son of Zeus bring on this sunny morning?" Harper teased, relaxing in her seat as she grabbed a loaf of bread, tore it, and offered the other half to Elodie.

On the other side of the pavilion, Chiron had entered chatting with a camper from Detemer. From Harper's observations, he looked normal. Almost as if the missing campers weren't even a problem. She knew it was a facade. The demigod turned her attention away back to the three campers, deciding that she would only worry if any news was brought up by the centaur.

Remi strolled into the dining pavilion with more or less no cares, seeing as he had no idea what everyone else was worrying about. He could tell something was going on, which made him feel like he should be worried even more, but he was just more curious than anything else. The boy grabbed a plate and scraped a portion of omelet into the hearth as he'd done countless times before, then made his way back to the Hermes table, where the rest of his half siblings ate.

When Remi sat down he took a quick glance at his surroundings, noticed a few stragglers coming in but for the most part he thought everyone seemed to be enjoying their breakfast. The tables seemed to be filling up quick at least. He spotted chiron enter, the old centaur didn't seem too stressed so maybe the rumors around camp were just that, rumors. Remi also wondered how well you would be able to get at hiding things if you were alive to work on it for centuries. The boy just decided to try and shrug it off when two of his siblings asked him which one had the better plate of food. Remi stared down at the plates, one had waffles, the other had pancakes..... uh oh.

Chiron

fhd013SOM_Anthony_Head_004@001055.jpg

Two months, it's been two months since we heard any contact from the campers.

Chiron analyzed the large group of half-bloods dinning on their meals at the pavilion. They were happy, enjoying their lives without the fear of danger looming in front of them. That's how it should always be in this camp. That was the purpose of Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter.

Things were supposed to be peaceful, but alas, something just had to go wrong once again. It's wasn't like Chiron was hoping for things to go wrong after almost two whole years of a stress-free camp filled with demigods who always seemed to get into trouble-

Chiron sighed and looked ahead. This situation was different.

Sure, it wasn't unusual for campers to grant permission to leave on small quests. In fact, it was encouraged by many in the camp. After the defeat of Gaea, there hadn't been much danger to worry about as demigods left to visit Camp Jupiter or go on small adventures themselves. They would always come back shortly after, and if they didn't, they would always stay in contact with Chiron or many of the other demigods residing in Camp Half-Blood. However, the situation with the missing campers was different. No one had heard anything back from the three campers that left two months prior. And apparently, from what Camp Jupiter has revealed, those weren't the only three campers that had gone missing without a trace. Something unusual was happening, but the problem was, no one could figure out what as going on. Not even the augurs or prophets had a clue what was going on. Before the campers had left, their request for a quest was innocent enough. They would leave for a few weeks in order to invest a situation concerning some rare magical creatures by Milwaukee. Their request had seemed rather vague, now that Chiron thought about it, but it hadn't seemed unusual at time. If this was another case of kidnapping, then Chiron was going to-

"Mr. Chiron-"

The centaur tore his focus away from the crowd and this thoughts and turned to look at Emily, a camper from the cabin of Demeter, who was perviously talking to him about the latest reporting of another duo of campers who went missing from Camp Jupiter only a week before. The demigod crossed her arms and raised her eyebrows at him, wondering if he was actually listening to anything that she was actually saying. Chiron had to give her credit that she was wise in her insight, but her attitude needed some working on.

The old centaur gave her a look before he turned and faced the large crowd of demigods. Several nearby were already looking at him, but it seemed as if most of the campers were busy talking to their friends or eating. He had waited earlier until almost everyone had arrived and settled down to eat. The creature could tell that there was an air of anticipation in the air due to the lack of news and details concerning the missing campers. Sadly, it seemed that they would only have to worry longer.

Chiron loudly cleared his throat, causing everyone in the pavilion to turn their heads up and stare at the tall being. The dinning hall had turned eerily silent, save for the few students who were finishing up the food they were chewing on. Everyone was watching intently, considering it has been weeks since the last time Chiron had given an update with the missing campers.

The centaur took a deep breath and straightened his back. "I am glad to see you are all lively today, considering recent events that have placed worry and mystery on our camps..."

Chiron paused, and several younger demigods lifted their heads higher for a better view.

"...However, it is with great remorse that I must confess that there is no update on the current situation."

A group of campers from the cabin of Nike groaned and sat back down on the tables in disappointment. The majority of the demigods, however, simply sighed and gave each other looks of concern.

"I know that you are all worried," the centaur continued, "but I must say that the residents of Camp Half-Blood and Jupiter should not think too deeply into this predicament. We are sure the trio that left two months ago is not in any danger. There has not been any trace of growing evil, nor has there been a villain who has yet to show themselves. What is happening right now is not unusual. I am sure that we will hear a response soon, however, several Counselors, Mr. D-" At the mention of his name, the god raised a hand in the back as he took a bite into a pear, "-and I will discuss further matters on this situation."

Chiron watched as several campers nodded and slowly sat back down. The atmosphere was still tense, but at least the mood had seemed to lift just a little bit. The centaur offered the best encouraging smile to the large group of demigods.

"As for the rest of you- enjoy your day. Do not waste it on worry and concern."

As with that statement, the centaur exited the pavilion, leaving behind a frustrated looking Emily and a large group of confused campers.

Elodie nodded simply, feeling bad about about putting damper to the whole thing by mentioning the camper. It seemed she wasnt the only one worried abou them after all, or at least wa in the minds of most campers. She supposed it made sense, if it could happen to those campers it can happen to them. For Elodie though some of the missing campers were people she knew or at least were patients of her after the CTF incident. They were nice and funny and seemed to be the first people who would give her a chance. It wasnt alot, she knew, but it meant a lot to her.

She snapped out of her thought and realised the girls had separated into their respective house tables. She stood for a moment confused about what to do before she figured it would be a good idea to sit down somewhere. As she looked on at table where there was sudden bout of laugher, near there she noted Harper smilling at her and offering her seat. Surprised by the gesture she hesitated a bit before pushing herself to go sit down a the offered space. She smiled and nodded at Travis and Hunter before accepting the piece of bread offered by Harper. "Merci." She said simply before taking a bite before taking a goblet and requested some milk from it. The goblet instantly filled with milk and she took a sip from it. All the while she listened quitely to each conversation.

She looked up and listened to Chiron little speech which pretty much boiled down to: "we have no idea and its worrying us as much as you." She sighed and wondered if the camp councillor could do something. Certainly the gods wouldnt do anything even if it was there kids that were missing, she knew well enough of the inactivity of the gods for the kids. From what she figured, if the gaia incident was any indicator, it would be the campers who would have to do anything. Certainly it wouldnt be her, she was a fine archer and healer but she was not one for heroics.

As Chiron entered the Dining Pavilion Laura would quickly hush her siblings, anxiously awaiting the centaurs words. Running a hand through her hair a slight frown would crease her face as she listened to what he had to say, her concern growing. Once Chiron finished his update and left Laura would sit there, silently staring at her food as the conversation slowly picked back up around her. The last I had heard was that the group was going to Milwaukee. But why Milwaukee? What in Hades is there? Ug, why can I not remember what their quest was... Frustrated Laura would stand, taking her plate and scraping the rest of the food into the fire, closing her eyes in a silent prayer to her mother before setting back at her table. Troubled by her thoughts she would leave the pavilion early, headed for the beach, idly toying with her bracelet as she thought.

Elodie continue to eat and drink quietly listening to each conversation going on though she sparsely participating and only when spoken to. She finished her bit of bread and nibbled at some cheese but didn't eat much else, she never had that big of an appetite. Less so now with all the business with the disappearance and the atmosphere it brought. She noticed Laura getting up and leaving with a particularly troubled look in her face. Concerned she got up and tidied up her things before rushing after Laura. "Hey, wait up!" She called out as she began to catch up to her.

Harper frowned and took another bite into the strawberry she was snacking on once Chiron had finished his speech. Something had certainly seemed off by the centuar's speech, and by the looks of everyone in the pavilion, they could all tell. Next to her, Hunter and Travis had went into discussion about the new announcement. Harper turned away, finishing off the last of her fruit and releasing a long sigh. From what Chiron said, this didn't look like it was going to end well.

The demigod turned to talk to Elodie, but blinked in surprise at the empty seat next to her. Her frown turning deeper, Harper lifted her head above the sea of tables and finally noticed Elodie walking away towards the beach. The demigod huffed and stood up from the table, saying goodbye to Travis and Hunter before following Elodie to her destination.

Harper had almost made it to the shore when she called out, "Hey, Elodie, what's wrong-," before slowing down so a stop once she noticed Laura there. Harper furrowed her eyebrows and took a few steps towards the two girls. In front of them, the ocean lapped at the shore in small waves, yet out farther the water was rough and dark.

"Is this about the missing campers?" Harper pipped up, crossing her arms and awkwardly going to stand next to Laura and Elodie on the shore.

Location: Dining Pavilion

Travis listened carefully for any hidden meaning behind his words, there was always a hidden meaning and Travis usually could pick it out. Thankfully this time he didn't have to when Chiron announced that the Cabin Heads would be meeting to discuss more info. Which meant there was more and that Mr. D and Chiron had a small semblance of a plan on what to do. Travis turned and looked at the other campers around him, all of them showing different emotions on their faces. Travis looked back down at the half eaten omelet on his plate. But his appetite had all but vanished. He took one last sip of the chocolate milk in his cup and stood, scraping the last of the food into the fire as and offering an walking out of the pavilion. Wandering around the camp a bit before settling on heading to the lake. For a child of the sky God, the sea calmed his thoughts.
Travis never understood the rivalry between the Sky and the Sea. They were essentially the same, both calm and peaceful until the weather decided to change, or his dad and uncle argued. Travis found his usual spot, further down the beach, where no one ever really traveled to, and sat looking out over the slightly rocky waters. All he could really think about was how they were going to find these missing campers, and why the gods hadn't given any signs as to what was going on. Which meant that against Chiron's reassuring word, something big was going to happen, he was unsure what, but it was going to rock the camp. Travis just hoped that this what ever would happen would happen, the anticipation was making everything worth.

Lost in her thoughts Laura left the Pavilion, the calls of her friends almost falling on deaf ears. Stopping at the oceans edge she would wring her hands as she stared out at the water, observing how turbulent the water far out at sea was. "Hey, wait up!" The sound of her friends voice made her turn, seeing Elodie and Harper following her. She ran a hand over her face and through her hair, smoothening her features so they hopefully didn't look so distressed. Putting on a casual smile she would wave at the two before turning back to the ocean. She always enjoyed being on the beach, the sun on her skin and the sound of the waves resonated with in her, making her think of cheesy romance movies and past beach dates. Kicking off her shoes and sock she would sit down, burying her feet in the warm sand. Without turning around she would just call out to the other two, "I am glad you girls could make it. Its a nice day to spend at the beach, the waves are so peaceful to me today." Bringing a hand up she would toy with her camp necklace, feeling the clay beads with her fingers.

Elodie was relieved to see Laura finally turn to face her and acknowledge her presence, in addition to the fact she was just going to the spot they were going to meet anyways. Than again, if so why didnt she pause and let the girls walk together? She saw the smile from Laura when she finally caught up but didnt found it comforting, something in Laura's face told the doctor in Elodie something was wrong. She didnt speak though unsure how to voice her concern, just simply looekd at her. It took Laura sitting down and mention the beach for Elodie to notice it herself, she looked around and smiled before sitting down hereself. "It is..." She began aiming to leave it at that but thought she needed to say more. "... If only the waves could wash away more than sand..."

Harper slowed down behind Elodie, watching as the two sat down on the sandy shore. The demigod paused to take a look at her surroundings- Laura was right, the waves were peaceful today. The calm waters tempted her to just walk in the waves and just float on her back. The salty smell of the air made Harper take a deep breath, and as she released the sigh, she noticed Travis situated down at a far corner of the beach. Maybe later she would ask him to join them, but for now, Harper turned her attention back to the two girls relaxing on the sand.

Harper contemplated for a moment, looked out at the waves, and then promptly made up her mind. The young demigod walked past Laura and Elodie, casually taking a few steps into the water with her shoes on. It didn't matter anyway, she would just be dry the moment she stepped back onto shore. Harper turned around, faced her two friends, and then proceeded to flop down in the shallow and chilly water. Harper released a relaxed sigh and dug her hands into the wet sand, the small waves hitting the back of her shift as she looked back up at Laura and Elodie.

At Elodie's question, Harper tilted her head and watched as a wave dragged back some sand into the water.

"Just going to warn you now, you aren't going to get any answers from Poseidon." Harper replied, knitting her eyebrows. "This problem is something that we have to figure out on our own. I just hope that Chiron or someone will have answers soon."

Hunter stood abruptly from where he sat at the table with Travis, quickly collecting himself as others stared at the sudden movement by the son of Hecate. Looking around wildly, Hunter seemed to have a glazed look over his eyes, he ran from the dining pavilion. He passed by multiple other campers leaving the area, and ran by the beach where the girls were seated. Most were confused as to why he was running towards the woods. Images ran through his head, images of things he didn't know, he didn't understand. Something was wrong, he could tell as he came upon Zeus's fist. Dropping to his knees, he screamed in pain as he grabbed his head.

Hunter reeled back as he gripped Rule Breaker from where it was attached to his belt. Ripping the crooked, malice filled dagger from its sheathe, Hunter stabbed the dagger into his own chest. While no visible wound was shown, Hunter's mind gradually began clearing, almost as if the haze covering it was gone. Falling to all fours, Hunter stayed by Zeus's fist as sweat dripped form his forehead. "Mother... what is going on?" he asked no one, the cursed dagger still grasped in his fist.

Laura gave a soft chuckle as Harper sat down in front of her in the waves. Even though she knew that Harper was a child of Poseidon, it was still somewhat comically odd to see someone just sit in the water. It was almost natural though. Laura could see how being in the water relax the other girl and that brought her a small bit of happiness. Shaking her head, Laura would warp her arms around her knees, settling her chin on top of them. "Don't worry, I don't think Poseidon would have any answers for me anyways. I don't even think my mother has answers for me. Lately it seems as though everything is a sort of test, you know?" Letting out a soft sigh, Laura would lean back, running a hand through her hair. "You two are my closest friends here, you know that? I feel as though I can trust you with stuff."Taking a deep breath, she would lay back against the sand, spreading her hair out behind her, as to not make it uncomfortable. Stretching her legs and arms she would stare up at the sky, thunderclouds lingering at the side of her vision. "I've been having dreams. Or nightmares. Whatever you call it. Prophetic kinda stuff."

Elodie chuckled as well at Harpers words before looking up at the sky at the sun bearing down on them, the heat the other feel was a wash of energy from her. Still she knew Harpers words held more truth that just for Poseidon, even Apollo didnt have answers to everything she thought bitterly. Her attention returned back to laura as she spoke adjusting her sitting so she was almost laying down on her side. Everthing a test? Elodies certainly hope it was, a reason for her past. Than again what did it tell about her? Has she passed or failed? However her thought were interupted at Laura speaking about their friendship, looking at her with surprise and feeling touched. "Laura...I..." She didnt know what to say, she felt the saw way of course but she didnt know how she managed to make Laura feel that way. Luckily it seemed Laura wanted to say more distracted for elodies trailing of. "Prophecies? About what?" She asked with concern.

Harper sat up in the water and looked between her two friends. She offered a smile at Laura's comment about the three girls and their relationship, though her face quickly changed to a worried frown at the mention of unusual dreams. Personally, she wasn't experiencing any odd dreams herself, although lately she had been suffering through restless nights. Harper followed Laura's gaze to look up at the stormy sky, and for a moment she wondered if Trevor was the reason for the incoming moody weather. The mood between the three of them shifted to being more serious, and Harper lifted her head back up to look at Elodie and Laura.

Harper nodded at Elodie's question and puffed her cheeks out at Laura.

"You know that something is up when the nightmares start happening," Harper remarked, "Do you think your dreams have any connections to the missing campers?"

Laura would give a small shake of her head, her chocolate hair shifting with the movement, the deep color standing out against the sand. "Honestly, I do not know. Maybe? Things like this never seem to be a coincidence. Her hands would reach out, scooping up a bit of the sand, feeling the rough, damp texture between her fingertips, thinking back to her dream. She would think back to the feel of the sandstone floor in her dream, how real it felt. Digging her hands into the sand, Laura would prop herself up on her elbows, thoughts running through her mind. "This really isn't like a normal nightmare, dream, whatever. I can remember it vividly, as if I just woke up, as if it just happened. Something isn't right.". Her thoughts would be interrupted by a single drop of rain hitting her square in the center of her forehead, startling her. Slowly, so slowly, a gentle rain would began to drift across the beach, skirting the edges of the camp, thunder rolling in the distance. Laura would sit up, tucking her legs under her as she ran a hand through her hair, shaking off some of the sand. The ran felt cool against her skin, but the wind did not feel strong, there was not much force behind it. Though the fact there was a storm on the beaches of Camp Half-Blood disturbed her greatly, her heartbeat picking up pace."If there was ever a sign I should tell you guys my dream, this is it...

Taking a deep breath, Laura would steel herself, locking eyes with Harper for a moment, before looking at Elodie, her normal mirthful expression calmed by the seriousness that sat upon her face now."I had a dream last night. A disturbing dream, that I can remember vividly, as if I was just there. I was kneeling on the ground, on a floor made of some sort of stone. It felt like sandstone, but it could have easily been concrete or something. I don't know. Wherever I was, it was completely dark. Like. Pitch black. I could still see myself though. I think I was wearing some sort of tunic, or toga, like the ones Ancient Grecians wore. But I don't think my wardrobe really matters in a dream though. What's important is that...Laura would trail off, her eyes becoming unfocused for a second as she relived that moment, a slight shiver going through her body as she realized what probably had been about to happen."I felt a blade against the back of my neck, like someone was lining up their blade to behead me. Executioner style. I rolled away and tried to flee, but someone started laughing... It was like that laugh was everywhere, all around me.... And then...Giving a shudder, Laura would wrap her arms around herself instinctively, taking a deep breath, steadying herself. And then I was shot by an arrow, through my shoulder. It knocked me off my feet and I began falling, and that's when I woke up."

Rubbing her left shoulder where the imaginary arrow had gone through, she would look to the other girls, her face creased with worry. "Something like this... It seems too close to the campers going missing, and the feeling I got was.... Ominous. I don't know you guys. I just feel like something bad is coming. And soon. Turning her head she would look up at the drizzling sky, closing her eyes and letting the feel of the rain on her face fill her mind, trying to wash away the thoughts that lurked at the edges of her consciousness.

Harper tensed her shoulders as Laura voiced her worries. It was obvious that the daughter of Aphrodite felt uneasy, and a wave of worry rolled off all three of them as she began to go into detail about her dream. A blade and creepy laughing? That sounded unsettling, if not a bit unnerving. Harper would remember the times where Percy would recollect dreams he had in the past, and Harper noted that she was glad she was spared of ever going through odd or horrific experiences in her sleep. The events happening in Laura's dream sounded exactly like something pulled from a prophetic handbook.

Once Laura finished her explanation, Harper let her shoulders relax a bit.

"Yeah, uh, that doesn't sound good at all," Harper stated, "Mad laughing, deadly weapons, arrows through the shoulder- maybe this is something that we should alert Chiron about. You know how important dreams are in times like these. Maybe this information will help with figuring out this mystery? The sooner we get answers the better, because honestly, I don't want to be impaled by an arrow any time soon."

At the mention of the probability of death by arrow, Harper shuddered and took a deep breath. Violence wasn't always her favorite subject.

Elodie listened curiously as Laura explained her vision and like Harper felt uneasy about what it all could mean. Certainly it didnt sound good at all, like a horrific future was awaiting them. She sighed in her mind, this place was meant to be her place of safety and home away from trouble and away from pain and weakness before and now this was happening. What she could say to Laura about this whole thing she didnt know. Be comforting? Be logical? How to do it though? She racked her brain about what to say and then Harper said what she thought was best. "I agree... We need to talk to Chiron. If this is a true prophacy he should know immidiately as he would be the best person to act and make sense of it." She said seriously.

Hunter walked out of the woods, a far away look into his eyes. He started to walk along the beach, trying to forget whatever he just saw. He had never heard of demigods getting such vivid and detailed images like that, but even he knew something must be wrong. He needed to consult the Oracle to find out anything. The Oracle was a sore subject for Hunter though. While Hecate's domain of prophecy and foresight wasn't as strong as Apollo's, it was nothing to scoff at either. Trudging to the big house, Hunter prepared to find Chiron and ask him if he could see the Oracle.

Travis laid back for a bit, relaxing against the sand, his sweatshirt bucked under his head, and his socks and shoes resting next to him. He felt the storm blowing in but decided to ignore the way the air mimicked the air in his cabin. Something was happening on Mount Olympus, and whatever it was, there was tension brewing. He sighed when he felt the first few drops of rain against his skin, and sat back up, looking at the dark clouds that moved closer to the shore. With a quick push he stood from his position and scooped up his shoes and sweatshirt. He started walking down the beach back towards the camp. As he walked he watched Laura, Elodie, and Harper grow closer, he could tell they were talking about something and from the looks on their faces it was a more serious topic, but with the wind whipping around he couldn't make out what it was. He was ready to keep walking and let them take but he spoke before he could stop himself.

"Hey Guys, how goes everyones morning?" He asked, his feet bringing him to a stop, next to them, the rain starting to pick up and becoming heavier.

Laura bit her lip as the other two girls gave their advice, thinking upon it. As much as she wanted to go to Chiron, something was stopping her. The tired, worn look on his face loomed in her mind, taking up her thoughts. She would take a deep breath and close her eyes, weighing her options for a moment when the presence of another person stopped her. Opening her eyes she would blink in surprise at seeing Travis, doing her best to smooth her face into a confident smile. Laura would run a hand through her hair and look up at him, trying to hide the concern from the conversation. "Hey Travis, what brings you down this way? Looking for friends on this rainy day?" Giving a somewhat nervous laugh, Laura would look up at the rain[ then to the other girls, trying to gauge their reaction on Travis being there, mentally asking if he should be included in on their conversation.

As the rain became heavier, Harper sat up in the water and shielded her face from the onsalught of falling droplets hitting her face. This conversation was definitely going towards a more sombre tone, and by the look on Laura's face, the dream she had really seemed to be bothering her.

As Elodie voice her opinion, Harper quickly opened her mouth to agree. However, the moment she looked up she noticed a familiar figure walking closer. The demigod hesitated to greet Travis, but once Laura offered an attempted friendly smile and greeting, Harper relaxed a bit and let her hand fall back into the water.

Harper had to be careful not to mention anything about the dream infront of Travis without Laura's consent, so the young demigod rightfully decided to blame the son of Zeus on the gloomy weather.

"Hey, thunderbolt." Harper teased with a soft smile.

She turned towards Laura and Elodie and pointed at the cloudy sky.

"He might be looking for friends, but I think he also wants to drag this big rain cloud over. The more you share with the merrier, you know."

Travis looked over at Harper at the sound of yet another ridiculous nickname, a light smirking tugging at the edges of his mouth. Travis had never been super close to Harper, but none the less they acted more like family, then with his own sometimes. He looked at the somber group and let the smile slowly fade from his mouth. The air was still thick with emotions and Travis was unsure how to react to it.

"Thunderbolt? That's a not a new one, but still better then some of the other ones." Travis responded, adjusting the shoes in his hands, as the rain came down, before opening his mouth again, "Are any of you guys your Cabin's counselors?"

Travis glanced away and over towards the big house. He wanted to go talk to Chiron, but he knew that there was a time and place, and Chiron would call for the cabin heads when he was ready. He was just antsy with the anticipation of what they had to say, he wasn't sure if it showed or not. A bolt of lightning shot off in the distance, drawing Travis' eyes away from the group and back over the water.

Rachel Elizabeth Dare

~
Bored. She was bored. Decidedly, utterly, bored.

Some days Rachel wished she hadn't been chosen to be given the Oracles powers. Some days, she just wished she was back in New York with her group of normal friends while eating normal food. Never-mind these visions, they always gave her headaches. At least she hasn't had any in months- but that also brought up the problem with her having nothing to do.

So there she was, sitting at the table in the big house, her chin propped up on her hand and her eyes unfocused as Dionysus rambled on with Chiron about the predicament with the missing campers.

After a few minutes of getting nowhere, Chiron got frustrated enough to the point where he turned away and shook his head. It was obvious that the centaur was upset- at least Rachel could understand that.

He turned to Rachel, an exhasperated look on his face.

"Are you sure you haven't been getting any prophecies? Visions? Anything?" He asked

Rachel glanced up and narrowed her eyes.

"As I told you several times today, I got nothing. Nada." She pointed at her head and shook it.

Chiron groaned and went back to talking with Dionysus.

Rachel frowned and went back to resting her chin. To be honest, she wished she could help. Though it wasn't up to her when she got her visions, Rachel hoped that she could be at least some help to this camp. A friend of hers was apart of the group that disappeared, and she wanted to know if she was safe. Being the only human in Camp-Half Blood didn't really help matters either, since she couldn't rely on a god to help her out. So, she was stuck. Listening to two godly figures give hypothetical situations about a group of missing kids.

Eventually the Oracle got lost in thought for a time thinking about what would be for dinner, until suddenly she stopped and froze. Her mind became blank as she sat up straight, eyes becoming unfocused once more. Shit, this was definitely a prophecy incoming. Why did it have to happen right now?

Rachel's eyes began to widen and glow, a pale white light emanating her features as her jaw dropped in an uncomfortable manner. It wasn't like she had control of any of this, anyway. Nor did she have any control as a stream of words began to flood out of her mouth:

'New heroes must come to defeat the odds,
Of once trusted peers now turned against gods.
Hidden in a place where new foes gather,
The old line of reign will soon shatter.
With days short and time grim,

The fate of Olympus once again appears dim.'

Rachel gasped and fell against the table, her eyes becoming focused as her vision cleared. In front of her, Chiron and Dionysus have stopped talking. They were staring at her with wide eyes and shocked looks on their faces.

"Well," Chiron said slowly, a deep look of contemplation on his face. "I guess that's a start."

Rachel placed a hand on her forehead and groaned, dizzy from the unwelcoming onslaught. She looked up and squinted her eyes, glancing out the window. There, the Oracle noticed someone familiar walking up towards the big house. A son of Hecate, one that she has bickered with once or twice before. It seemed like he wanted some information.

"I guess we got some explaining to do," she muttered.

Hunter's walk to the big House was mostly in silence. He really didn't talk to anyone on his way, no greeting, no smiles, no waves, nothing. His head hurt from his previous dreams and visions, all the thinking causing a killer migraine to form. Rubbing his temples, he really hoped something good was about to happen. Hunter stopped walking and felt it, the subtle shift in the air, the slight change of the wind, the smallest pinpricks of cold on the back of his neck. The Oracle just had a prophecy, one that could have been what he was hoping for. Resuming his walk, he turned it into a jog, and soon came upon the Big House.

Walking up the steps, he knew something was wrong almost immediately. The air was tense and Hunter slowly opened the door. Walking in and closing the door he looked towards Rachael and Chiron. "Some explaining would be nice right about now." Leaning against the closed door, he stared down at Rachael and Chiron.
