Date: March 21st, 2018 || Time: 7: 15 A.M. || Weather: Clear, light clouds around the valley
The day of the 21st at Camp Half-Blood seemed like any other at the Camp. Cabins were starting to stir with life as their inhabitants slowly woke to the new day, some already hanging around the fronts of their cabin, others running along the beach. Overall, the day seemed to be at a peaceful start. Despite this, a dark cloud hung over many of the campers, their minds caught on the demigods who had ventured out on a quest in months prior and still had not contacted the Camp.

On the day of the 21st Laura woke up to darkness. Instead of her bunk in the Aphrodite Cabin she was sitting on her knees in a room that seemed to be made of a sort of rough stone, almost like sandstone. Her sense instantly kicked up a gear, adrenaline pumping through her veins as she tried to sense where she was in the room. The first thing she noticed was that she was no longer wearing her pajamas, but instead she was wearing a white tunic, similar to the ones she had studied when she was researching Ancient Greek fashion. Sandals were fixed to her feet, the leather straps lacing all the way up her mid-calf. Slowly placing her hands on the floor Laura would exhale slowly, collecting her thoughts when she felt it. The cool metal of a blade pressing against the back of her neck.

Her Camp training would push her into action instantly as she used her hands to roll forwards, coming to her feet. She would waste no time to try and confront the attacker, instead fleeing away from where she thought they were, the sound of her sandals slapping against the floor echoing around her. A dark chuckle rose from the darkness, surrounding her when she heard the unmistakable twang of a bow being shot. She tried to alter her course, but was too slow, the force of the arrow spearing her shoulder throwing her forward. Instead of hitting the ground she just kept falling, her speed picking up when-

Laura sat straight up in her bed, her heart beating as quickly as it had been in her dream. She would have to sit back a bit, leaning against the wall as she tried to regulate her breathing, running a hand through her hair. It had been several months since she had a dream of that magnitude and it troubled her greatly that another had risen. Closing her eyes she would exhale, placing her hands on her bed to steady herself. It was a moment before she swung herself out of bed, placing her confident smile on her face. Despite the time the Aphrodite Cabin was already mostly awake, many trying to get to the spots that had the best lighting. Ever since Piper Mclean had taken over as Cabin Counselor the Aphrodite had gone through massive changes. The Cabin was no longer so... Disgustingly pink. Instead the Cabin's inside was a myriad of colors as the other Aphrodite kids explored their creative sides. Grabbing a clean Camp Half-Blood and her favorite pair of jeans she would slip away to the bathroom, stopping for a moment to offer a small prayer to her mother at the shrine near the back. After grabbing a quick shower and throwing on some light make up she would step outside, inhaling the sweet scent of early morning. Normally she would stay inside, talking with her cabin mates, helping the younger kids, but not today. She had much to think about with her dream. Sitting down on the front steps Laura would look out towards the ocean, watching the sunrise.

Hunter got up that morning, his night usually plagued by the unrest of dead spirits wandering around, or other nights, dreams of the life of Medea of Colchis, one of Hecate's most loyal followers. He would dream of the Argonaut crew, of the adventures of the Argonauti, and all they had accomplished. But none of that really mattered to Hunter, what mattered was that it was now the morning, sunlight was streaming in, and he could hear someone's alarm clock going off. Groaning in annoyance, Hunter, son of Hecate, stumbled out of bed. "Someone turn that damn thing off!" he shouted to one of his many brothers and sisters.

Hunter would never get used to the fact he had so many siblings, well half-siblings that is. Looking around his designated area of the room, he picked up a simple t-shirt, put on his signature sweatshirt, his scarf, and decided to forego his contacts in favor of his glasses. Yawning as he walked past his still sleeping, or awakening siblings, Hunter grabbed Rule Breaker from its place on the weapons rack, and strapped it to his belt. He then grabbed his katana and strapped it across his back. Opening the door, he winced in the rising sunlight.

The air was crisp and cool, something Hunter was thankful for. Walking down the path that led to the beach, Hunter simply watched the sun as it rose. He could hear the bustle of camp behind him, a noise that he was far too comforted with already. Shedding his sweatshirt onto the sand, he quickly did the same with his shoes and his scarf. Closing his eyes, he slowly drew his katana as he got into a stance for kendo. In fluid, practiced motions, Hunter went through a simple kendo routine, a single person dance, preformed by a man and his weapon. The blade cut through the air, sunlight reflecting off its bronze surface. It made a wonderful picture.

Elodie sat back against the wall next to her cabin door looking out at the cabins nearby and the general greenery of camp. Elodie was never a good sleeper, only sleeping for a couple of hours each night, another one of the things her step father her taken away from her growing up. Still it had its benefits, she had learned to make the most that time awake, using it to learn or train, useful in her first couple of years in the camp as she had a lot to catch up on. In addition there are few views better than watching a sun rise, the orange glow on the greenery and the marble of the amphitheatre. It really got her creative juices flowing and feel like singing, was it something to do with her actual father? He was the god of music and responsible of the sun after all.

Whatever it was she couldn't help herself hum a soft tune. "...Dragonfly out in the sun. You know what I mean, don't you know. Butterflies all having fun.." She found herself singing softly as she got into the rhythm of them song before correcting herself back to hum. She didn't want to wake anyone after all, she had enough trouble her social abilities to add sleep disturbed to the list of her faults. Yet she was a singer and what good was it if one doesn't perform in front of someone. Yet however good she was, she was sitting in front of building full of people who could do the same. She sighed at the thought.

A door opening and closing of a door nearby saved her from these thoughts. She looked up and the direction of the sound and saw one of the Aphrodite girls step out of her cabin. Elodie remembered the girl's name as Laura though she couldn't remember them interacting much. She was pretty though and someone difficult lot look away from. True to her god parent, Elodie supposed. Elodie forced a smile and waived st Laura, attempting to be social. "Bonjour. " She greeted.

Raleigh Akagi

Raleigh slowly opened his eyes while yawning. He didn't get a wink of sleep at all because of his insomnia. Glancing over enviously to his Greek half siblings, they were still sound asleep. Sleeping with them felt so weird in contrast to sleeping in one of the bunkers at Camp Jupiter. Granted he was allowed to sleep in for a longer period of time, but it felt awfully strange for some odd reason. Must of been because he was Roman, but either way he turned over to the other side of the bed to look at the wall. Closing his eyes again in order to try to sleep again without the aid of this sleeping gummies, he silently waited. Or would of waited if someone didn't barge into the cabin to wake up the entirety of the Morpheus Cabin up.

Groaning, he silently got up he walked outside of his cabin. He would of stayed in bed, but he didn't want to hear anymore of the endless amounts of yelling that the person who barged in made so he left. There were plenty of places to go rest at, but he wanted to eat breakfast before looking for another spot to rest at. The idea seemed good, but in reality it was his worst nightmare. The reason on why it was so bad was because of the numerous amounts of talking people over there.

Sitting down at his table, he placed his face down onto the table with his arms. His food was later brought to him. Looking up he slowly took a piece of bread, and chewed on it thoughtfully. Everyone around him seemed to be worried about the demigods that were sent out on a quest, and like them he was somewhat worried as well. He didn't know the exact specifics of the quests, but judging at the fact of everyone was worrying it was most likely serious. After finishing his bread, he slowly continued to eat another one while lost in thoughts.

Harper Driscoll

Location: Poseidon Cabin / Outside. Feeling: Uneasy yet relaxed. Mentions: Hunter Miamoto, Laura May Wilder, Elodie Mutombo Interactions: Laura May Wilder, Elodie Mutombo

Harper Driscoll slowly blinked several times and stared up at the ceiling of her cabin. She turned her head to the right and glanced at the clock hanging above the entrance door.
It's 7:15, Harper thought to herself as she sighed and sat up on the bunk bed, I'm usually awake by 5:30.
Harper swung her legs over the top bunk and hopped down with a huff. Immediately, cool ocean air filled her scent as she yawned and reached up to stretch her arms above her head. She could understand why she hadn't woken up as early as normal. She couldn't even sleep until 3:00 am, considering the unease that had floated around her mind throughout the entire night. Thoughts of past horrors and possibly current horrors had made her anxious, and that resulted with her simply staring up at the seashells on the blue ceiling for what seemed like hours on end. It's been months since the last campers have returned, Harper contemplated as she slowly lowered her arms, so good for the peace that has been going on here. I just hope that the campers are all right...
The demigod shook her head and headed over to the broken fountain and washed her face with fresh water. The large windows facing the ocean shined down on the area, forcing Harper to squint her eyes as she lifted her head up from the fountain and headed over to where her clean clothes laid on top of another empty bunk. She had the whole cabin to herself, considering that there weren't many children of the Big Three. When Harper had first join camp, she thought it was freeing. A whole entire cabin to herself and Jackson, who wasn't even there that much anyway. However, as time passed, Harper realized how lonely it could be. Harper took off her pajama top and slipped on a normal Camp Half-Blood shirt before slipping on a pair of old work-out shorts. She sat on another empty bunk and put on her sneakers, struggled to tie them properly because of her lack of sleep, and then promptly gave up before stuffing her laces into the inside of her sneakers. The demigod took a deep breath as she reached for the back of her short hair and tied it up half way in order to keep it off of her face for morning practice. She wasn't even sure if she was going to practice today, but she was ready just in case. Harper stood up and strode over to her own bunk, stanching her bronze staff laying against the wooden frame of the bed and attaching it to the back of her belt.
Harper gave one more look outside of the windows before heading out the front doors of the cabin. Once the demigod took a single step out in the open, she breathed in a large breath of fresh air and smiled. She was feeling better already, the demigod knew that glooming in her cabin wasn't going to solve any situation. Harper stepped out from the steps and onto the grassy ground. The sound of kids practicing filled her ears, and she took a moment to look around the camp before her began her trek away from her cabin. Several demigods were casually hanging out at the steps of their own cabins, while others had decided to continue their daily practice by the shore or near the center. Harper spotted Miyamoto, a son of Hecate, practicing by the beach along with several other campers. She tore her gaze away and looked around at the other cabins, hoping to find someone to talk to. It appeared that many others were still snoozing away in their cabins, so Harper decided to start making her way to the beach and join the others practicing. However, on her way to the shore, Harper spotted Laura sitting on the steps of the Aphrodite cabin. The demigod smiled and quickly waved at the camper.
"Laura good morning-!" She greeted cheerfully as she made her way towards the steps. However, when she noticed another cabin member already speaking to her, Harper quickly shut her mouth and looked at the demigod. Elodie, daughter of Apollo, Harper thought as she continued to slowly walk towards the Aphrodite cabin.
"Bonjour!" Harper attempted to repeat Elodie's greeting, however, her Welsh accent made it difficult and she cringed as she butchered the language. The demigod shrugged it off with an apologetic smile and went down to sit on a step below Laura, giving brighter smile to Laura before offering a friendly wave to Elodie. "You must be Elodie! What a lovely name."

Remi stared blankly at a guy sleeping soundly across from him, silently thinking about how strange he was being by staring at a guy sleeping soundly across from him. He sat in a corner of the Hermes cabin on top of a sleeping bag, to be fair, he really didn't need the sleeping bag since he wasn't doing much sleeping lately. The young demigod wasn't quite sure what kept him up all night but if he had to guess, he'd probably put his money on having to fend his siblings off from taking his sleeping spot. The most clever of the children of Hermes got the bunk beds but after that, the most popular spot were the corners of the cabin, and not to toot his own horn but he felt pretty macho after sneaking his way through a small brawl to plant his belongings in his new territory.

Remi snapped back to reality when he noticed a few of his cabin mates were starting to get up. Remi made sure to always use get up because most of the cabin was probably awake before he was. The Hermes kids knew to never prank another Hermes kid, kind of like an unspoken rule. Not for peace in the cabin, but more so because some of the Hermes kids had the power to know when they were in a trap. So instead of finding out the hard way, which of us had that ability, everyone simply decided it'd be best if they didn't take the chance. Remi knew he wasn't born with it, so he enjoyed the circumstances.

The kid pushed himself up off the ground and began the treacherous trip to the door. All he had to do was cross a cabin full of sleeping demigods scattered about. Easy peasy. Just one foot in front of the other, and soon i'll be walking out the door, one foot in front of the other and soon i'll be walking out the door. He repeated in his head, wondering where he'd had heard it when after maybe the fourth time repeating he placed his foot in the wrong spot and touched down on someones hand. Fantastic. Remi couldn't even get a swear out before the boy he'd disturbed erupted in annoyance, then like dominoes, each of his half siblings did the same, either frustration at the kid's outburst or just to get in on the fun. In seconds everyone was up and arguing, excluding maybe some of the unclaimed kids who were hiding or simply staying out of it. Remi decided it'd be best, not, in there, so he made a break for it, dashing for the door, swinging it open, and shutting it behind him. "That happened" he said to himself after literally wiping sweat from his forehead. Now with that out of the way, all he needed was something to do for the next forty five minutes.

Travis woke to the sound of the light rumbling of thunder that worked as like a pseudo alarm clock for him. He yawned and rolled over looking at the newly updated Zeus Cabin, it had taken a bit with everything that happened but they finally made it more then just a empty room with a few make shift living areas in it. Travis alway thought about how much of a let down it was that he didn't have as many siblings, two that he knew of, Jason and Thalia and only Thalia was of the same counter part of their father as him, he grew up as an only child and when he got to camp half blood a couple of years ago he was hoping to have lots sibling, but that clearly wasn't happening any time soon. He sat up and stepped out of his bed, getting ready for the day, shaking the lonely child thoughts from his head. Travis looked up at the statue of his father, now positioned in a different section of the cabin, optimizing room, in case more children of Zeus emerge, and he prayed that there would be a sign from the missing camper soon. Travis found it funny that the cabin always seemed to imitate the emotions of the camp and with out a doubt he could prepare himself for the day based on the insides of his cabin. Like as he got ready, he noticed that the usually light fog that rolled around on the floor was clinging to the ceiling, small rolling light would cross the clouds followed by the low rumble of thunder. Travis shrugged it off and made his way to the door.

Lately the moral of camp half blood has been on the decline, everyone has been waiting for any kind of news from the demigod that left for the quest a few months ago. He had even heard Chiron and Mr. D, debating on sending a search party but they always agreed that it was a bad move, couldn't risk losing more campers, and what not. Travis left the cabin after getting ready and made his way for the dinning pavilion passing by many of the other campers, waving at them. He was starving this morning and usually that was a sign that something bad was going off. He brushed it off as just the weird mooning hiding beneath the camps day to day things.

Elodie was taken by little surprised by the sudden appearance by Harper. She hadn't expected this to go beyond a greeting with Laura now, here a second person taking over and going further. It left Elodie of guard and for a moment unsure of what to say. Internally she chastised herself for this: She just complemented you, idiot, not a proposal. Just greet her back and thank her. This is what you want, be social. Elodie forced a smile and cleared her throat "Yes and Merci.... Eh, your French is interesting...I like your accent...what is it? Scottish?"

I like you accent? She repeated in her mind. Was that being too flirtatious, she wondered now feeling a little nervous. She cursed herself, fearing that with all the hesitation and pausing she must look like an idiot. Elodie, arrette. You are doing fine. She though convincingly to herself.

Harper's smile only widened as Elodie guessed her accent. The demigod shook her head and glanced over at Laura for a moment. "Close. It's actually Welsh, although most people assume it's Irish. Dunno why." She shrugged. "Honestly, I can't even tell the difference between Welsh and every other English accent. It's all sounds similar. Anyway, thank you for calling my French 'interesting', Laura always calls my attempts at foreign language a 'sin against Hermes'."

Harper rolled her eyes at her own joke before she sighed and relaxed against the first step she was sitting on. Usually, Harper was one to talk for hours on end if prompted, but over the past few weeks she's become exhausted after a few minutes of chatting. The demigod assumes her gloomy mood has been due to all of the mystery and tension revolving around the missing campers, so she let's things be and lets everyone at Camp Half-Blood worry and hope. Harper turned her gaze away and allowed Laura to chip into the conversation as she placed her focus on the dinning pavillion. She noticed Travis and several other campers make their way over to eat some breakfast, and Harper absentmindessly patted her stomach in hunger.

Breakfast really does sound good right now,
Harper thought to herself, I wonder if they're serving pancakes today.

The sounds of the sword hitting the practice dummy followed in succession. Each strike timed perfectly and within a second of each other. Jethro stood, the sword held in his grip. As he finished the final stroke of his sword form, he allowed his sword to drop to the standby position. He had just completed his fifth sword form in a row and now allowed himself a brief respite.
Jethro had been in the arena since early that morning because he had found sleep alluding him the night before. There was a tension in the air like something was not quite right in the world. Whatever it was, it had kept him in a state of anxiety and he had only managed a few hours of light sleep. He had finally given up on sleeping that morning and had decided to come to the arena for some early morning drills. He had started by running the equivalent of three miles around the perimeter of the arena. Then, he had taken to practicing with a variety of weapons inside the arena. Starting with a spear, then an ax, hammer, halberd and ending with his favorite weapon, the sword.
He had virtually mastered all of the weapons at hand but he refused to accept his current level of combat skill as good enough. There was always room to improve and he would always strive for perfection. Even if he knew perfection was impossible, working towards an impossible goal was better than having no goal at all. Being the son of Ares, he had a natural talent for mastering weapons. The time it took for him to master a weapon was about half the normal time it took an individual. That being said, Jethro had resolved to spend as much time training with a weapon as any other person working to master it. If he mastered a weapon in half the time, he could only imagine whatever practicing as if he had the same limit with weapons as everyone else would do for him. As an additional bonus, something about training seemed to clear Jethro's head. To him, training was clear-cut and straightforward. There were no added complications to it.
With a sigh, Jethro raised his sword back to the ready position once again. He faced the practice dummy, imagining it as a bloodthirsty enemy in the heat of battle. One that wanted nothing more than to end his life. With that image in his mind, Jethro set off once again, the sound of his sword striking the dummy echoing across the arena.

As Laura sat on the steps she thought. Her dream disturbed her greatly, she had not had a dream of that magnitude, or that clarity since the War, when Camp Jupiter was basically knocking at their door. I should talk to one of the Morpheus kids, see if they can get me something to not dream at night... Solutions ran through her brain as she idly watched the sun slowly climb its way into the sky, noticing some familiar faces emerge from the cabins around her. Her attention was drawn away from the beach when she heard conversation begin around her. Blinking she would shake her head, her smooth, confident half-smile brightening her face. Coming to her feet she would bow her head at Elodie, slowly making her way over, easily falling into stride with Harper. Laura would remain standing as they arrived at the Apollo Cabin, her hands casually stuffed into her jackets pockets. "Bonjour Elodie! Pardon my vague response, I lost myself in my thoughts." Giving a small chuckle she would nudge Harper in the side, flashing her a mischievous grin. "It is a sin alright, I think even Hades would be offended by it. But have no fear darling, I will teach you the language of love yet! Laughing again Laura would shoot Elodie a conspirator smile.

The mood around the camp was plainly gloomy, the fate of the missing campers unknown. Even between the three friends, the sense of doom was obvious. Clearing her throat Laura would look at the other two, thinking for a moment before clapping her hands together suddenly. "You girls free after breakfast? We should meet up down on the beach, there is something I want to talk to you about. Sound good?"

Elodie chuckled at the banter between the two girls about her comment, feeling no small amount of relief that her comment was taken well. She had noticed Laura blackness earlier and despite her looking brighter there was still a pale shade in Laura's face. This concerned Elodie slightly fearing some sort if malady but kept silent for the moment not wanting to ruin the mood over possibly nothing. She felt she did that to much with her interest in medicine. "Pas de Problem, as long as you are feeling alright."She said to Laura her concern getting the better of her slightly. "As for Harper...I was trying to be polite but yeah... We have our work cut out for us." She tried to tease.

There was a silence fall between the three of them for just a moment but felt heavy to the point that Laura' clapping made her jump." Ah yes...Yes it sound good." She said standing and adjusting her t-shirt. She wore an oversized t-shirt with a faded rock symbol and torn jeans, both of these were handouts as she had little money for clothes. "Why not talk during breakfast?"She asked curiously.

Finished with his usual morning routines, Hunter wiped the sweat from his forehead. Sheathing his sword, he grabbed both his sweatshirt and his scarf before making his way back towards the main area of camp. Ignoring most of the usual commotion that happened in the morning, Hunter was almost to the dining pavilion when he spotted Travis, the son of Zeus. Coming up behind him, Hunter slapped him on the shoulder. "Rise and shine, thunderbolt." he said to the other guy. "It's a new day, a new dawn, and I hear Chiron has some really important announcements." Falling in step with the son of Zeus, Hunter fell into thought while waiting for the Travis's answer.

His dreams have been strange. While dreaming of Medea was not uncommon, the dreams kept getting more vivid and detailed. Faces changed to those of people he knew, and that troubled him. Would he too betray everything he had built up? No one knew, but Hunter couldn't think with an empty stomach.

Harper scoffed and shrugged her shoulders in defeat. "Well, I'm going to pretend what you both said were compliments. At least then I can at least assume I have nice friends." She teased, then let the conversation fall into silence as they made a comfortable pace towards the dinning pavilion. Several campers around them decided to stop their practice and prepare to head to breakfast themselves.

Harper released a long sigh as she stretched her hands out in front of her and glanced over at Laura as she offered them to meet up after breakfast. The demigod furrowed her eyebrows, worry growing in her chest as she glanced between Elodie and Laura. Seeing how Laura was lost in thought before Harper and Elodie had distracted her, Harper had a feeling that something odd was going on. Might be another dream, Harper thought to herself, hope it's nothing major.

Haper gave a quick glance at Elodie before she looked ahead at the nearing pavilion and nodded. She could already smell the food coming from the inside. "The beach sounds good to me. I'm assuming what you're going to say is not best for breakfast talk."

Remi decided to use to the better part of his time walking around aimlessly, which led him over to the climbing wall. He marveled at the demigods who went up and down it like it was nothing. Three years and Remi still hasn't beaten that stupid thing. As he kept walking he figured a few laps around the arena wouldn't hurt him, so he veered off in that direction. Remi wasn't fond of working around other people, so he prayed it was empty

As he neared the arena, heaves, grunts, and other sounds of work filled the air. So much for it being empty. He thought. He peered into the arena more curious than cautious to be honest and found a child of ares, making quick work of the dummies set before him. Remi didn't know the guy personally but he knew of him. "Jethro, right? Think they've had enough?" The child of Hermes joked as he took a few glances at his surroundings.

Jethro finished his sword form with an over headed backhand cut that sliced the practice dummy from shoulder to hip. He sheathed the sword in the sheath of the shield on his back and turned to face the newcomer.
"Yes I am Jethro and I would say that the dummy has had enough. You are Remi, aren't you? How can I help you?"
As Jethro posed the questions, he began to put the weapons he had used back on their racks. Taking care that the weapons were cleaned properly. Then, he began cleaning up the mess he had made of the practice dummies.

There were times when Jethro wished that he was not so ferocious when he was practicing. He had a habit of destroying the dummies so much that he spent a long bit of time cleaning the remains afterward.

I nod in his direction at the mention of my name "so you've heard of me?" i ask jokingly. "Oh i just thought i'd see if i could get a few laps around the arena" he said absently as he bent down into a crouching position and examined some of the dummy remains, glancing at the piece that was separated from the child of ares' latest victim

"poor guy" i mutter absently before returning back to what i was saying "anyways, it looks like everybody is heading to the dining pavilion for food" as if to prove my point, three campers walk past towards that very direction "so i guess thats where i'm headed now too" i say standing up straight.

It was nice that not a lot of the campers had woken up yet keeping the camp in a quiet and peaceful environment. There were a few dotted out through the camp going on about their business but travis noticed that their action seemed to be sluggish today, the entire camp was pushing off this vibe that Travis couldn't place. “Rise and shine thunderbolt,” Travis groaned a little at the nickname that came out of Hunter’s mouth. It was the only negative effect of being a son of Zeus the ridiculous nickname. “Morning Hunter,” he said in response, smiling at him. “He better have information for us, the entire camp is on edge. And no one seems to know why.” Travis added, when Hunter mentioned Chiron.

Travis wasn’t sure if he should be worried about what this news was gonna reveal. He smiled and waved when passed Harper, Elodie, and Laura who were starting to make their way towards the dinning pavilion. "Morning Guys!" He called, glancing over at Hunter who had fallen into a thought. He nudged Hunter to pull him from his thoughts and back into the world of the living. As Travis' did this his stomach made a very audible growl and seemed to boost Travis towards the dining pavilion.

Some he had only spoken briefly with before, some he knew only on site but not personally. He passed by Travis and Hunter who were walking and talking. He even had passed by Laura, Harper, and Elodine but given that they appeared to be engaged in conversation, he did not attempt to greet any of them.

Arriving back to his cabin, he gathered his shower supplies and headed off towards the showers. Jethro still had some of his habits from the Academy and one had been to shower before breakfast in the morning regardless of how tired you were. As it was, he did not feel that the other campers would appreciate him walking into the dining pavilion smelling like he had been rolling in dirt and sweat.

Hunter felt a nudge in his side and was shaken by Travis from his thoughts. Quickly following Travis, he too waved towards Elodie, Harper, and Laura. Normally Hunter wouldn't talk to them on a regular basis, as he was more of a loner than a social guy. Travis was the one friend he could say he really had from all his years at camp. "Yeah, I mean, sure Chiron is trying to keep the whole missing quest group on the down low, but it's not working, so maybe." Sitting himself at a table, Hunter rested his head on his hands.

"Do you think maybe" Hunter started before lowering his voice. "The quest failed, and Chiron's actually going to send a rescue party or something?" he asked as he looked around the pavilion. "I mean, we also haven't heard anything from Camp Jupiter in a while. It's almost... scary."

"Oh.... Bien Sur, silly me." Elodie replied at Harpers explanation feeling a little stupid for not thinking that could. She cursed herself for appearing stupid infront of the two girls and things were going so well. However her self deprication was put aside and replaced by curiousity as she began to wonder what could be so secret not to be told infront of others. She also felt surprised and touched for being trusted with such information, though the reason for this escaped her completely.

She heard them being greeted by Travis and turned to face them. "Bonjour, fellas. Ca va?" She called out looking at Jethro as he was close by but he had passed them without reply. He was leaving in a hurry. She thought but shrugged it of returning her attention back at the girls. "Huh... Anyways, does this have to do with the disappeared campers?" She wondered.

"Yea." He waved in Jethro's direction, feeling slightly awkward. If Remi was being honest, he didn't really feel like running anymore, but if he didn't run he'd feel like a liar. He figured nobody actually cared about what he did but in the end decided that one brisk jog around the arena wouldn't hurt anyways, just to wake himself up if not anything else.

Remi was honestly glad he'd decided to start running, he thought more clearly when he was moving. As he made his way around the arena he pondered the rumors that had been circling the camp lately. He didn't really know much about it but from what he could gather there was a group of demigods who had a quest, and they haven't come back yet. He probably didn't have enough information to even hold a conversation about it. Maybe Chiron will make it public soon.

As Remi slowed to a stop, he realized that he'd probably been running longer than he'd wanted to. He wasn't really gassed, or sweating, but he'd seemed to have passed by a particular flower resting on the outside of the arena at least four times now. "Well, I guess i'll call it there." He muttered to himself glad the guilt of not running wasn't weighing down on him anymore, of course now all he had to do was shake the feeling of idiocy he felt for putting so much seriousness and effort into deciding to run or not. He'd deal with that the only way he knew how to, food.

Jethro Gerhardt
Location: Dining Pavilion; Feeling: Hungry
Jethro took a quick shower and having finished, had changed into some of his old academy clothes. It was a good thing for Jethro that combative clothing seemed to be "in style" at the camp because that was the extent of what he had. Wearing camouflage pants and one of his old tan military shirts, he made his way to the Dining Pavilion. The only downside to the clothes he had was that he was beginning to grow out of them a bit. The tan shirt which had once fit him perfectly was now a little tight on him. He would have to look into expanding his clothing a bit to make up for all of the extra training he had been doing.

On arrival to the dining pavilion, Jethro took a piece of toast and loaded it with eggs and a few slices of bacon. He walked over to the fire pit and tossed it in as an offering to his father. He muttered to himself,
"For you Father for giving me the strength to fight."
Then he walked back to the Ares table and took his seat.

As Elodie stood Laura would run a hand through her hair, before giving a small, tired smile."Why not talk during breakfast?"Heaving a sigh Laura would fidget for a moment with her bracelet, feeling the beads with her fingers, trying to figure out how to word it without alarming the two. Thankfully Harper chimed in and began leading them towards the dining pavilion. Laura herself generally was not very hungry in the morning, but today she felt the ache in her stomach, like she had spent the morning exercising. "The beach sounds good to me. I'm assuming what you are going to say is not best for breakfast talk." Giving a causal wave at Travis and Hunter as they passed Laura would step forward a bit and spin around so that she was walking backwards towards the pavilion, facing the other two. "Yeah... Too many ears at the pavilion, and gods knows how much my siblings like to gossip. There is enough for everyone to worry about with... She would trail off, the end of sentence not needing to be said. Everyone was worried about the missing campers.

Arriving at the pavilion she would stop, stopping the other two. "It might Elodie... I will explain later, I promise. Just... Don't mention this to anyone else alright? Turning on her heel she would smirk, her normal confident façade placing itself upon her face as she skipped over to her table, pushing aside another Aphrodite girl, joking and laughing with them as if nothing was wrong.
