Around the Caribbean islands mermaids flourish beneath the waters. However, until recently humans have been basically totally oblivious to this, even as some mermaids switch to legs and walk among them. Recently however, there have been some suspicious findings, though nothing serious... Yet.

Have you seen? Do you believe?...

Sage was swimming around in the Caribbean sea happily as dolphins and occasionally baby whales played with him. His propelled him forward and his long blue hair flowering the water as he raced with some dolphins. The dolphins were pulling ahead but Sage would not allow it and with a mighty flick of his tail he shoot forward.

Raya was sitting on a human lawn chair in her cave beneath the crystal waters of the Caribbean.

It was a lovely day; the sea was calm and the sun was shining. The sun had risen only a few hours before now.

The mermaid brushed through her long blonde locks of hair with a silver comb; one of the many combs and brushes she owned. In fact, she had a lot of human things. Of course, some of the items floated she she had to use items like rocks, sand, or seaweed to weigh or tie them down. The chair was just one example.

As she brushed through her hair she hummed to herself, putting the comb back in it's place on her vanity-another human item she had acquired-

The mermaid then swam over to a hook on the wall by the entrance of her cave, grabbing the satchel she had hanging there. She put it over her shoulder, pushed the seaweed away from her as she exited the cave, and swam out into the open sea.

Sage was swimming pass when he saw Ray and swam over to her. " Hi Rayray. " he said as he stopped in front of her.

Raya paused and turned to face Sage. "Oh, hey," She smiled in return. "Whats up?" The blonde inquired.

" The usual , playing with the dolphins. So where are you going. " he asked with a raised eyebrow as he folded his arms. The dolphins swam around behind him waiting.

"No where special," Raya replied casually. She treded the water easily with her aqua blue fin, her matching eyes looking at Sage with an innocent sense.

Jazmyne sat on the beach. It was early in the morning so no humans were there at the moment. Seh sun still shined, and she had no doubt that they were on their way. But she was searching for shells to put onto her necklace. Broken pieces, even. Her stringy black hair, clung to her skin and to her face. She saw one of the strange human transportation pull into the parking lot, not far from the beach. She blinked and quickly hid behind a large rock, by the shore. She sat and strung the shells onto her necklace.

Keira woke up to the sound of a someone calling her name in a Scottish accent.

"Oi, wake up Lee (that's Keira)!"

Keira sat up slowly and rubbed her eyes. Mr. Bryden, her father's second in command, was standing in front of her. She looked at her alarm clock; 04:37 am, she looked back at Mr. Bryden.

"This early?" She asks, annoyed.

"Yes, this early. We'll be arriving in 20 minutes, ye better get ready young lady." He replies and hands her an envelope. She takes the envelope and stares at it blankly.

'Arriving where?' She thinks to herself. 'Oh wait... the Caribbeans... yes I'm spending summer there.' she thinks, mentally face-palming.

"Ye father booked you a hotel room, give em the slip an' they'll let you in." Mr. Bryden says. "Oh, and there's money in there too." He adds walking out of her cabin, closing the door behind him.

Keira gets up, gets changed and gets ready. She makes her way to the deck area, where a few sailors are waiting to catch the first glimpse of land. She pushes through the small crowd just in time to see the Caribbeans appear on the horizon.

"Woah." She whispers, smiling wildly. "It's beautiful."
