Official World Timeline
1879: After digging an archeological site in France, looking for fossils, researchers accidentaly find an enormous sea of resources underground. Along with all the metal of unknown origin, there were small light blue stone-like objects contained inside glasses, named Inconnus by the archeologists. It didn’t seem to serve to any practical purpose. But the scientists who found the stones began to feel strong headaches after a few days, and they seemingly became more intelligent and quick-thinking than their workmates. The stones were discovered to increase the intelligence of the people next to them, slowly consuming themselves as more people suffered from the same effects. Years later, and no long-term side effects were shown, besides the fact that the descendants of the affected people inherited the increased mental capacity. The French government, along with others, distributed samples of Inconnus across the world, making almost the entire population smarter, and decades later the whole, causing technological advancement to jump about 3 decades the next years.
1947: The Cold War starts.
1979: The Sony Walkman, a gadget used to listen to music anywhere, is released. Some great successes that would be later purchased and download in masses are Let's Dance, Take On Me and Everybody Wants To Rule The World.
August, 1988: The first case of Molythermia appears in Alaska.
December, 1988: The MT virus evolves, now able to change temperatures by themselves, causing a worldwide threat.
January, 1989: AAMO is formed, and the SONS project is widely divulged.
March, 1989: The construction of Hubs begins, and the disease spreads through the north of Europe, crawling in the direction of Asia’s and the south.
September, 1989: As only tropical zones still aren't completely frozen, the planet is about to go through a new glacial age.
November 19th, 1989: Earth is officially under an ice age, and the Berlin Wall keeps standing, as the pandemic annulled any efforts that could possibly be made against it.
March 2nd, 1991: The /dee/vice NanoG is released.
1992: Sbagliato Medico founds the mafia gang Basilisk.
1996: The ROMAN system is created.
2000: The first probe sent to space since December 1986, Prometheus I, is successfully sent to the Moon’s orbit to take pictures of Earth, where it is still today.
2018: The Raiders are formed.
January 6th, 2019: Raiders make an assault on the Washington Hub, giving origin to the 01/06.
2022: Claimed not to be mafia, the criminal group Moonage Daydream is created by the molykin Thomas Brown.
May 21st, 2039: AAMO announces to the public that the SONS project has been delayed due to complications regarding the genetic therapy. It starts losing credibility from the population.
2042: The Raiders reveal their and Neo-Canadadian PANGEA’s, a group with an ideology similar to theirs, collaborated project of the Extra-Atmospheric Heating Station, designed to use solar energy to heat Earth, sending its last section to orbit later in the same year. This raises Raiders’ popularity greatly, especially after the delay of AAMO’s sons.
June 30th, 2066: The Neo-China government releases the 流浪者 (Liulangzhe) probe into space, which disappears 2 months later.
January 4th, 2082: The EAHS suddenly stops functioning, increasing tension between AAMO and the Raiders.
April 9th, 2082 - October 31st, 2084: The San Francisco War, with AAMO soldiers against Raiders, is fought. With the help of the Basilisk gang, the Raiders are said to have lost by AAMO. But most history specialists state AAMO is lying, and that the victory was Raiders’.
2127: The current leader of Basilisk, Beatrix Valentine, is born in an unknown city in Ontario.
2129: Archaeologists discover an ancient skull within the state of Marylvania, dating back to approximately 12 million years ago, with anatomy similar to an infected’s.
2132: The F.A.F. from 2183 to 2191, Richard Fawkes, is born in a powerful Washington family.
c. 2144: Supposed date of birth of Russel Lazarenko, the first and current person who could be considered the “leader” of Raiders.
February 1st, 2189: The space probe Prometheus II is sent to investigate the missing of Liulangzhe.
8:21 am, April 12nd, 2189: A signal for the activation of the SONS cryopods is sent.
