A figure was crouched in the corner of the room, you make think that is normal. In matter of fact look up, it's on the ceiling. Nico grinned from his spot on the ceiling. "Despicable humans think they can keep me locked up? Ha! as if!" he laughed manically. He would escape from this place and resume what mother Lilith made him for.

'Shut up you vile creature.'

Nico growled at the guard outside "You're the vile creature." he snapped. He came down from his spot and walked out the door. It never was clear to Nico why they had guards when the doors were unlocked. "What is it demon?" the man asked.

"Nothing. It's just funny how you say I'm vile when your species is greed ridden and have such darkened hearts." he grinned. He passed the man and made his way to the cafe. He ran a finger though his pink hair and straightened his panda hat. He walked into the cafe and chose some meat and coffee. Sure it was an odd combination but, demons liked their meat. Mostly the more raw the better.

Here though, the meat was cooked not raw at all. Nico twisted his nose and took a sip of his coffee. Maybe this place might have something of his use. He heard of the rumors that anyone who sided with the humans and became their soldiers, would get power. Nico liked power but, only one thing on his mind stood out...

What would Lilith think?

Gremory Stern made his way into the cafeteria from his dormitory room. They weren't so much dormitories as they were barracks, but The Facility liked to keep some semblance of humanity and civilization for it's future soldiers. As he entered the cafeteria, he could feel his demon arm twitch, a reaction it usually took when another demon was present. He glanced about the cafeteria and saw someone with pink hair and a panda hat. "Well that's not obnoxious at all." Gremory said under his breath, before remembering that he himself had stark-white hair and a demonic right arm. Rolling his eyes, he decided to ignore that demon's presence for now. Gremory had made a plan, to garner himself more power and try to understand exactly what he'd become before The Facility had picked him up. His plan might or might not involve that demon.

Gremory's arm gave him some unique and outstanding abilities for a human. He was much stronger than other humans, his right arm doubly so, and he healed from most wounds at a rapid rate. However, he hadn't quite figured out the more arcane functions of his destructive new limb yet. It would be possible, the scientists here at The Facility had said, for Gremory to use demon energy and other abilities, he would just have to figure it out himself.

He had been very unsuccessful as of yet. So he wanted a full-blooded demon to teach him their ways.

Gremory knew that there must be at least one other demon here at The Facility who'd sided with the humans. Judging from the guards at the doors, the pink-haired one wasn't it. With a sigh of frustration, Gremory passed by the demon on his way to the food line, going through and getting a balanced, if not a little plain meal, consisting of some bland overcooked meat, and a few vegetables. Sitting as far as possible from the pink-haired demon, Gremory tucked in, eating very quickly.

Food wasn't enjoyable for him anymore, ever since he'd been transformed. He wondered what it was demons ate, or if they just didn't enjoy their food the way humans did? Perhaps humanity's greed and indulgence is what developed their taste buds. From what he'd been told thus far about them, demons only had a taste for destruction.

Katyusha Yekatrina

Profile

"Yushi! Yushi! Where are you going?" A tangy blonde young girl waved at Katyusha, her body wet from the pool she was residing in. The sun beamed down from the sky as it seemed to be a perfect summer day, what it seems to be the day that Katyusha would finally be free from the evil clutches of school.

Dressed in her usual attire, Katyusha' patterned blue beret sat happily on top her fiery red mop of hair that fell right over her face. Vivid neon green eyes seemed to glimmer as Katyusha took in the sight of her best friend. It had been four years since Katyusha had seen Noelani, four long and tiring years.

"Noe...Noelani..." Mouth hung agape, Katyusha felt tears of joy prick at her eyes as she took a single step forward. Voice raspy as if she hadn't been speaking in awhile, Katyusha's single step turned into two, which soon turned into three. "I'm not going anywhere, Lani.." Flashing Noelani a pained smile, Katyusha's eyes only held disbelief as she had almost just given up hope of looking for her best friend.

Noelani's cheerful smile formed into a look of hatred. "You're lying, Yushi." A frown gracing her friend's soft pink lips, Katyusha felt a pang of guilt hit her in the chest, knocking out the air from her lungs. Noelani pushed herself up from the pool, water dripping down her body, revealing the fish tail that had caused their friendship to tear apart. "You left me, Yushi. You left me to die."

Shaking her head in desperate disagreement, Katyusha tried to take another step towards Noelani, but something was holding her back. "No, Lani! I didn't mean to!" The once wonderful dream began to twist and turn into a nightmare. The summer blue sky turned a dull red as black rain fell from the heavens.

Everything went to Hell from that. Shrieks of horror and pain filled the air as the SWAT team hurried in, their guns ready to shoot anything that would come at them. People fell to the ground as they were slaughtered mercilessly. It was a terrible sight.

Then Noelani was shot. Right in the lower abdomen, everything went in slow motion as the bullet cut through the air and embedded itself into Noelani's flesh. Blood splattered and the pool was stained red. Katyusha's eyes widened in fear as Noelani fell back into the water, her silky honey orange hair spread out.

With hatred and spite in her eyes, Noelani glanced up at Katyusha, pain evident on her face. "Why...Yushi..?" Was Noelani's last words as her eyes began to drift closed and the SWAT team pushed Katyusha back and out of the way.

~End Flashback~

"Noelani!" Katyusha sat up abruptly, her vivid green eyes dashing around the area of her dull and under decorated bedroom. It was just a nightmare. A cold sweat dripped down Katyusha's neck and forehead as she stayed as still as a statue, trying to calm the rapid beat of her heart down to a normal speed.

Dressed in a simple white tank top and grey sweatpants, Katyusha let her eyelids drift close once more as she took deep breaths to calm herself down. It was just a nightmare, it wasn't real. But, it was real. That whole scene was just a twisted version of her past.

Letting out a fatigued sigh, Katyusha forced herself off her the somewhat stiff bed, she never did like those comfy ones. It relaxed her muscles too much. Stretching her body and cracking her knuckles, Katyusha trudged over to the built in bathroom and turned the shower on to cold.

Stripping off her cold and sweat soaked clothing, Katyusha stood in front of the mirror and examined herself. Staring straight into the eyes of her mirrored self, Katyusha slowly raised her right arm and slowly slipped off the the hair tie that kept her fiery red locks out of her pale face. The red strands fell down to the very beginning of her well toned shoulders.

Shaking her head, Katyusha let out another inaudible sigh and stepped into the freezing cold stream of water, allowing the sudden change of temperature to shake herself awake. Cold water was always the best. Katyusha was weird like that, enjoying the shaky feel of the cold than the comfort of the warmth.

After getting changed into her usual attire, Katyusha tied her hair up again and placed the blue patterned beret on her head, covering the extra hair that had been tied up. Walking out of her room, Katyusha walked confidently with an aura of superiority through the halls. Passing by one of the cells, Katyusha barely flashed the demon a glance before continuing on towards the cafeteria.

"You better keep an eye on him, soldier." Glaring at the guard, Katyusha pushed away the noises of the demon and the guard arguing and quickly moved on, passing the demon as they entered the cafeteria. What a twisted world that was lived in today.

Noelani sighed softly, eyes staring at the ground as her legs swayed forwards and back separately from her bunk. 'I hate it here...' The orange haired girl thought before she fell onto her side, orange eyes peering at the wall blankly as her fingers twisted themselves within the thick strands of orange. Her thoughts were so focused upon her desire to rid herself of the torment this place brought that it only led to her mind arguing against her. 'I'll just get caught again and probably treated worse.'

The mermaid had been here a while and it was beginning to take its noticeable toll. Smiling, enjoying herself or at least attempting something she believed she could not do were things the mermaid had lost. Given up? That was probably the only term that was correct for her current state. She had given up. "I want to be back in Oceanis..." She whispered, tears prickling in the corners of her eyes as she sat up to wipe them away furiously. Her words were silent pleads to Sacha to save her from this mess.

Her ears twitching as she noticed the constant chatter of those irritable guards. '
Humans are so strange....why even trap us...' She never understood why, most of all she was still curious to how she was caught by the humans. One moment she was with her friends, Katyusha and the others, then at her 'therapy' for a phobia she did not have and then....the humans had her by the line. Caught.

The girl sighed as she jumped off her bunk, clad in a over sized t-shirt she grabbed a pair of faded and torn black jeans, pulling them on before she looked in the mirror. Her hair, a vibrant orange fell down her back, bangs swaying in a messy style over her face with strands everywhere. It was a mess of wavy locks. The girl sighed softly grabbing a pair of scissors as she slowly began to snip away at the over grown strands.

Eventually, the girl stood with hair reaching her shoulder blades, a lot more neater with a much more healthy look. Tugging at the now medium length locks she frowned. It was weird, not her but she couldn't be the real her when she was a caged bird right? '
Wrong idea...in my case its more like one of those pet goldfish in a bag at the carnival. ' She shook her head before she walked over to the seat in her cell, her eyes staring at the ground as she pulled her knees up to her torso.

Kiamora leaned against her bed with an empty look in her eyes that appeared whenever she was alone, running a hand through her long silver hair she was beginning to miss the beautiful ocean that allowed her freedom and space... she didn't like land, she had a few reasons to not like it. With a groan Kiamora stood up on her two feet with ease and began to walk back and forth with annoyance radiating off of her. The only reason she had gotten caught by a SWAT team was because she had gone on land when she had heard that a few curious mer-children had went onto the beach; luckily Kia was able to get the children back into Oceanis before anything bad happened. Of course Kiamora had fought which had caused the humans to quickly knock her out since... well, they didn't want anymore causalities then they already had.

"Stupid humans!" Kia hissed as she stomped her foot and began to wonder what it was they expected Kiamora to do here but if a was human was careless enough to walk in here, she didn't mind making him explode with sound. Putting a hand on her chest she bent down and began to breath in and out carefully to calm her down.

"Sacha, I pray that you give those humans some type of strength... when I get out of here, they'll need it," Kiamora whispered before standing back up and began to practice her fighting skills with just the air, there was no way she was going to just do nothing.

"You've shown some amount of progress in your regeneration skills, but your there have been abnormalities in your blood and nervous system. We've yet to discover why..." the scientist was lecturing a blue-eyed demon her test results. She couldn't care less about what he had to say. Odilia found it much more entertaining focusing on her long fingers. How gracefully they moved, and to think there was monstrous power at the ends of the very fingertips.

"Are you following our conversation?" Odilia placed her hand in her lap and raised her head. She felt tired by the amount of tests, the constant company and being under constant watch. "I'm hungry. I want to eat. Now."

The scientist sighed, knowing that is he didn't give her what she wanted, she'd be an even bigger pain "Fine. You're dismissed for now. We'll continue this later." Odilia sat up and continued her way to the cafeteria. It's not like she wanted to let the humans test her, but being allowed to generally walk around honestly sounded better. Though, leaving the place altogether sounded good.

Odilia paced in to the cafeteria without glancing at the company around her. They hold no value for her. At least, for now. She ordered herself a salami pizza and tea. Usually she'd be far more pickier, but her energy was drained, so a small meal would have to do.

She sat in the very corner of the room, hoping the others would pay her no mind, just as she did to them. Odilia was in her worst mood, so the only thing she was asking for was to be left alone at the moment.

Andra's stomach growled painfully as she turned over in her bed. Her brow furrowed with frustration. "Fine... I'll eat..." she decided, standing up out of her bed. She had initially planned to refuse food, in hopes that the guards would let her go. But she realized a few days in what a stupid plan that was, and right now it felt like someone was clawing at her insides. She stood up shakily and pulled on a black tank top and dark blue jean shorts. Not bothering with shoes, Andra walked slowly out of her room and over to the cafeteria. Once she arrived there, she noticed four others already there. She walked and grabbed some meat, she was too tired to tell what kind. She sat down by herself and began to eat as quickly as she could, which wasn't very fast.

A t h a l i a C r i m s o n

"Come to think of it, this place is boring." Athalia observed her room with a little frown, which was very plain and everything was pretty much either white or gray. She had just woken up minutes ago, and the same thought was on her head every day. For some reason, she didn't like dull colors, but plain colors were a bit all right. She always wanted her surroundings to be colorful, amazing, decorated, and beautiful. And right now, she just had it. She felt like she was going to die if she stayed in her room for too long. Today she was going to persuade some superior to let her make her room better or maybe paint it, but first she had to fix herself and get ready for this new day. "They're already at the cafeteria, most probably."

She reached her right hand to the only doorknob in the room and twisted it to make sure that it was locked, then proceeded to quickly removing her clothes and bringing new ones that the government provided for her, to the bathroom. In the same way, she turned the shower on and quickly bathed herself, mentally hoping that she got a bath tub instead. She decided to wear a simple but florally stitched yellow shirt and a three-fourths loose but light pants. After finally exiting the bathroom and putting on clothes after having a nice rapid bath, she looked at the small but also boring wall clock. It seemed so melancholy, and she also hated that.
4 minutes of bathing, same as yesterday and the day before that, Athalia chuckled as she did some stretches and grabbed some candy that she found on her side table. At least I didn't have to drag my tail on the way outside of the water's reach today.

As she was out of her room and onto the hallway, she noticed and heard a few other people from afar, mumbling and talking and probably already taking tests on the species. Poor them though... Athalia sighed hopelessly. She could also hear the faint sounds of screams and shouts. Who knows what's going on and happening to them right now? Knowing that she had nothing to do but her job and mission, Athalia walked to the cafeteria, where most were. It was about time that she ate again, she was pretty hungry from helping do tests on demons from last night. Her schedule for this week was late in the afternoon to evening, so for now she had nothing to do but help other people who lack workers... or investigate more about the facility. Changing the mind topic, her eyes widened a bit. Just you see, if ever I spot the head here, I am so decorating my room. Walking to several trays of different kinds of food, Athalia forked fish meat, vegetables and water to drink.

She walked to an empty table, where she thought if anyone would like to join her. She looked around and noticed that everyone seemed to be living their own lives, so she decided to leave them be and eat her food. She'd hear a lot of people and other species, especially the demons, say that the food didn't taste good at all, but for the mermaid-human hybrid, the fish she was eating was normally cooked and it tasted all right. The vegetables on the other hand, were thin and crispy. She liked how they were like that. She took her glass and drank water from it, being careful enough not to spill any on her and make a mess.

(I'm sooo pumped for this! c:)

Deep in the forest Kain was in the temple praying to Yui Goddess of rainbows. He loved being in the presence of his Goddess. The temple and the surroundings calmed him. He loved the temple, the forest, the quiet. It was more than he could ask for.

Kain heard a noise outside the temple that caught his attention. Men shouting at the head priest. The head priest was a dear friend to Kain and so Kain went outside to investigate. Kain spotted two men were yelling in the head priest's face. Calling him nasty things and talking bad about the Goddess. Kain rolled his eyes and thought nothing of the men's ramblings until the Head master asked them to leave and one of the men pulled a knife and lunged forward, and just like that the Head master was dead. Kain rushed to his master's side and caught him before he could hit the ground. Kain watched as his life was once again being torn apart in front of him.

It was hard to concentrate on anything, Soren wasn't exactly sure whether this was how faeries reacted when a demon was nearby but he could feel the demonic energies radiate throughout the entire facility. It wasn't because of the demon but rather the kind of traces they left, direct contact with surfaces that are touched by a demon usually left him nauseous. It felt as though that demonic force seeped into his very being and attempted yet failed to integrate itself. Soren had, however, stopped getting queasy whenever he looked at a demon or earned the gaze of one. He was fairly certain all these side effects was because of his magical nature.

That though prompted him to return to the past. What if he had not felt as if he belonged? Would his camouflage have held up? Would it have spared the monks from having their souls trapped in those apparatuses. The memory was fresh in his mind as if they had happened only yesterday. The men in "suits" trapping the souls of the monks in what was called a "gun." If he could find out where they keep these "guns" and figure out which held the souls of the monks, maybe, just maybe he could bring them back to life. It was a long shot and one attempted by a faery who wasn't sure about his own accuracy, yet a shot he feels like taking. A miss would simply be a stain on the monks' trust that haunted him day and night. Several "if only's" could have swerved a catastrophe, if only he didn't feel like he belonged then maybe he wouldn't have started glowing like a proper faery and those monks wouldn't have been accused of "sheltering a threat to the united states."

"United States" a name that has appeared several times over. It stood to reason that wherever he was, it was the United States. A name he'd come to despise with a passion. If he had the full power of the faery elder and knowledge of the destructive demonic arts he would simply level the entire nation without thought or regard to who or what gets caught as a vendetta to those who robbed him of a place where he belongs. A grin crept on his face as imagined the carnage he could bring to those pathetic beings that were called humans. The screams of children echoed in his head as the tears of mothers made whole rivers as they cried for their sons. The world will burn and he will be the one to start the fire.

Temper that hate, learn to be open to others as we have been open with you. The world is an ever changing entity, what mask it wears today may not be the same one it wears tomorrow, Soren..........No a more appropriate name must be given to you.....Scott. There will always be karma, learn to temper the fire of your hate and resentment lest Karma turns that which you think is your strength against you. You have suffered much and will suffer more, but you will be enlightened because of it, your suffering is merely a fraction of what Buddha had gone through under the Bodhi Tree.

The image of carnage shifted to that of the sect he had been a part after the veil had disappeared. It was highlighting the face of a kindly old man, his posture was like that of a father, a firm presence in the faery's mind. The short trimmed beard, the clean cut head of hair that had already begun to whiten, the green eyes that held a vast stock of knowledge, the gentle tenor of his voice as he lectured Soren on "Buddhist Teachings." It was calming to say the least.

"E-elder?"

The image shifted to another one, this time the same man was one the floor with blood welling on his forehead. There was no response regardless of how much Soren called out to him or the other monks, the intelligent green eyes lost the spark of wisdom that resided in it, replaced by a dull lifeless shade of green. He could remember each of them having blood welling on their foreheads, he remembered just what it felt to have your own parents disown you in front of the public.

Thankfully, he was drawn out of his well of sorrow by the pangs of hunger. It was time to eat again, time to meet to the others like him, or so the humans, said on common ground. He ran through a quick shower and donned the clothing that the government issued all the residents in this structure. A simply grey shirt with an insignia on the right breast and dark pants. With a last look at himself in the mirror, he honestly couldn't tell himself apart from a normal human now that he has once again felt alone, he left the bathroom and proceeded to go the "cafeteria," a place where one goes to eat it seems.

As he stepped in the cafeteria, it seemed as though there were already a sizable amount of individuals gathered yet separated at the same time. As if each one of them owned a table of their own, and the tables were large enough as it is. Of course one of those isolated individuals would be isolated no longer if he could help it. He went over in his mind just who he would sit down with as he picked up a tray and pile food into it. Soren stepped back once he was sure he had enough food for himself and maybe to share as well and looked over the "cafeteria" and its inhabitants.

"Where shall I sit I wonder...."

Katyusha Yekatrina

The young woman's eyes scanned over the cafeteria as she spotted an empty table to sit at, most tables had been crowded with her co-workers and....those things. With an uncomfortable frown plastered onto her face, Katyusha walked through the crowd, separating it easily as spotting the bright red hair of the captain wasn't that difficult. With an air of superiority around her, Katyusha weaved through the crowds and sat down at the empty table that she spotted. Or so, she thought it was empty.

Across the table was a halfling. A freaking halfling. Paling even more than her original complexion, Katyusha averted her green eyes down to her food as she slowly began to eat it. An awkward silence covered the two co-workers as Katyusha felt her palms go sweaty. She was never the best with communicating with others, her people skills weren't as developed as they could've been since she didn't interact with many people while growing up.

((OOC//: @Coro I don't know what to say. Katyusha isn't one to interact with others unless it is necessary or they speak with her. The latter of the two is often responded with quick and easy answers though.))

Gremory raised his eyes from his meal, seeing one of the human workers from The Facility sitting across from him. He smiled snidely. She surely hadn't done that on purpose, so he decided he'd break the tense silence of the lunch room and play with the toy that had decided to enter his midst.

"I don't really know what the blue beret means, but you're obviously one of the Facility's workers. I have a problem I'd like you to fix." He noted, bringing his demonic arm up and propping his chin in it's palm, resting the elbow on the table. His snide grin eased up a bit, as his eyes narrowed a tiny bit.

"
.... You see, I think it's the gruel you serve here, that or the shoddy plumbing, but the toilet in my room, cell, whatever you want to call it is clogged. Think you can do something about it?" He asked of her, knowing full well she wasn't cleaning or service staff. Hopefully this would garner an interesting and entertaining reaction.

Taking note of the halfling's arm, Katyusha frowned as another image flashed through her eyes. Demon. Staring blankly at her co-worker, as Katyusha pushed his voice out of her mind, she wracked her brain for the white haired man's name. Greg? No. Gregory? Not likely. Gremory. It was Gremory Stern, the government's little demon toy. With an expression as blank as a piece of paper, Katyusha stared into Gremory's eyes, falling back into reality just in time to hear his last words.

Clogged? Katyusha furrowed her eyebrows slightly at the words that were spoken. Her facilities were always working properly, then again, she was a human. The government was biased.
"I'm sorry to hear that. I will tell the janitors to unclog it." Her voice was monotone, right to the point. After all, the workers must be properly taken care of to produce good fruit.

It still unnerved her to be around a halfling, pity to be such a thing. You didn't belong with the humans nor would you belong within the creatures, you were practically your own new race. Although, after the silence had been broken by Gremory - that is his name, right? - things became a little more...less difficult.

Kain looked up at the man who had just murdered his closest friend and something inside him snapped. He reached for the man who killed his friend. Kain grabbed onto the man's arm and threw him into a nearby tree and watched his friend run off. Kain stood and slowly walked towards the murderer and started transforming while he walked closer and closer. The man finally got his bearings only to be face to face with and angry and blood-thirsty were-tiger. Kain quickly grabbed the man by the throat and lifted him into the air. Kain squeezed the man's throat and his claws penetrated his flesh drawing blood and the man screamed in pain. Kain smiled maliciously as the man screamed and all Kain did was squeeze tighter and bring out more blood. Kain held his grip and pulled back effortlessly ripping his throat out.

Tap. Tap. Tap. Noelani felt as if she was going insane. For a moment, she was looking upon the water with contempt, hatred and disgust. Was it because she believed that her little trip, just a short one, to her natural environment was the reason she was here? Was it because nothing or no one had attempted to release the creatures here. Sacha....please help us.

She twisted herself around as she stood up, grabbing her hair loosely as she began to weave a ribbon through it so it would settle behind her, not fall in front of her vision and obstruct her view. There was many times that she had walked into something due to her lack of attention on her direction. So, she decided to be a lot more careful.

Noelani grasped a jacket, pulling it over her shoulders as she huffed.
I guess I need to eat... It was a usual debate with her. Sometimes she would force herself to avoid leaving her cell at all costs, it eventually came around to a point she didn't understand her own decision and went to eat. Now was such time.

Heading towards the cafeteria she kept her eyes low, constantly watching the floor, watching each step she took.
I want to swim... She thought tiredly, a small pout coming to her lips as she looked up. As usual, she avoided the gaze of the guards. Slaves of those vulgar government officials more like...

Reaching the canteen she huffed, looking at the others who were in eating or finding a place to sit
. Shaking her head slightly the orange haired girl headed towards the station to grab some food. Well, in her case it was just grabbing a few random pieces before she headed over to a empty table. She dropped her food on the table harshly, not caring much to if she could end up eating it or not.

Her fingers grasped one of the grapes she had grabbed, rolling it between the pads of her fingers before she placed it in her mouth. Picking up another while she chewed it slowly began to seem more and more as if she was only getting food to mess with it. Noelani just didn't feel up to eating.
I never really do now days...

Kiamora entered the cafeteria with a look of annoyance when she glanced over at the guards, she hated this place and there was no need to question that. Grabbing a tray she began to pile up a a few thick slices of fish, got a plastic cup of water and went go find herself a seat. Her blue eyes scanned the cafeteria and once she seen an empty table she didn't hesitate to claim it as her own. Putting the tray down she took a seat and pushed all of her silver hair off of her shoulders before using two fingers to gently pick up the piece of fish, she couldn't help but give a look of dislike toward what she had to eat; Kia preferred freshly caught fish and she also liked it uncooked with the taste of a bit of salt from the ocean, now that sounded like a good meal.

Taking a bite of the warm fish she scrunched her face up in disgust from the taste of the warm fish in her mouth, if she had a choice she would've thrown the fish out and demand for what she really wanted but since that choice was nowhere to be seen she would have to survive on the fish she was able to get her hands on.

She missed the beautiful ocean that was nothing but beauty and freedom, it felt weightless in the water as if all your strain and stress was gone and you could do whatever you wanted... but on land it felt more suffocating and tight, her body felt a bit heavier then what it was in the Ocean... she missed her home so much. At the age of 13 years old Kiamora never liked land and since then it seemed that whenever one of her loved one went onto land, she would lose them... she felt like land wasn't even completely alive anymore but covered in blood that will forever stain the soil of the ground. There was no questioning that blood had been in the Ocean but the thing about something dying in the Ocean, it will become one with the Ocean and be reincarnated as a creature of the Ocean... or at least that's how it is for underwater creatures, Kiamora wasn't sure what would happen if a human had died in the water because she always avoided trying to see humans... well this prison showed why.

Upon finishing her meal, Odilia scanned over the others occupying the cafeteria. She could just feel the emotions coming off of them. Hatred, despair, loneliness. Oh, how they hate being here. Usually, Odilia would be ecstatic in the wide range of negativity, but this didn't do at all. Since she wasn't the cause of it, there was no point in enjoying the hopelessness.

'Yawn.....' Though, Odilia was spiraling down into her own hopelessness.

Boredom.

How she dreaded the feeling of boredom. Nothing to do meant worthlessness. There were no challenging hearts to corrupt, nothing to analyze, nothing worthwhile to learn. She knew that if she stayed, her mind and core would just rot from the monotone lifestyle.

Odilia glanced at the two workers of the facility sitting just two tables further. How clueless they seemed. It made her chuckle. Soon she'll be able to stop playing well-behaved test subject and make her way to wreak havoc.

Gremory glanced to the side as he heard a chuckle from that direction. Being the only other source of noise apart from himself and the worker, it got his attention rather quickly. A girl sitting by herself, like everyone else. He felt his arm twitch. A demon. He couldn't help but grin ever so slightly. There were more than enough demons here to teach him how his damn arm would work.

"Oh, you're not one of them. My apologies." He let out, sounding rather insincere. With a sigh, he returned his gaze to the girl with the blue beret. "... I did have another question. Do you know of any other demons who have willingly settled here?" He asked further, raising an eyebrow ever so slightly. All he needed to know was a name, and he would go from there.

The sound of a child screaming echoed throughout the forest. A man was chasing after the young girl, toying with her. One second he would be behind her, the next waiting for her ahead. Thinking it was time to end that part of the fun, he quickly caught up to her and pinned her down. Cutting the fabric from her shirt, he bound it around her mouth, gagging her. She continued to scream, but the gag had reduced the noise greatly. Bounding her hands and feet with pieces of rope that the man had pulled from his trench cloak, he got up and watched the girl squirm on the ground. "Oh, how beautiful you creatures are when in distress." He laughed, a large grin forming on his face.

Kneeling down next to the girl he took his right hand and brushed the hair that was clinging to her face.
"Shh, shh. It's all right, It'll all be over soon..." The girl just stared wide-eyed at the man. Taking a small dagger from his pocket, he showed it to the girl, who promptly began to freak out. With a sudden swing , full of force, he shoved the blade into the girl's intestines. Muffled cries came out from the girl, tears beginning to swarm her face. Blood erupted from the wound and covered the man's hand. He yanked the blade to the right, the skin tugging on it. Her body was slowly being torn open. Looking to his right, he saw that the girl was puking and choking on it. Laughing, he continued to drag the knife along, more of her organs being revealed. By now, she had passed out but had continued to choke on her own vomit. With a final pull, he cut to her ribcage and above it. This would make nice food for whatever found the body first. Leaning over the dead body, the man sunk his teeth into her neck and fed on the dwindling reserves of blood remaining.

Vorigan awoke, his amber-colored eyes blinking a few times. He looked at the ceiling, thinking back to the dream he had. It was one of his first kills. He was craving blood, and the dream didn't exactly help the craving. He wasn't sure if the facility he was in had any reserves of it, but he would ask when he went to the cafe. Unfurling his wings that he had wrapped himself in, Vorigan sat up and got out of bed. Looking to his trench-coat, which sat on the foot of his bed, he pondered taking it. With a shake of his head, Vorigan left him room and headed towards the cafe. Guards were near all the rooms, and he noticed a few looking at him. He ignored it and continued to head to the cafe. He picked up a tray even though he wouldn't be using it. Looking to the person behind the counter, he asked for his pouch of blood. He was told they did and the man went into the back to get it. Upon recieving it, Vorigan looked around and found an empty table. Sitting down, he promptly took the pouch of blood and bit into it. It's warm, sticky goodness quickly began to lower his craving. Vorgian looked around the cafe and at all the people in it. He stretched out his wings before returning back to consuming the blood.

Odilia had almost finished her tea. She was just waiting for time to pass by, when she felt animalistic intent nearby. Odilia raised her head and noted a vampire in his full form. Head rested in hand, she proceeded to watch him devour his meal. It was mesmerising in a way. At least to her.

Her eyes trailed of the the vampire's wings. They reminded her of her own. A demon's wings are his pride. They measure the demon's power. Ah yes, those were the days. Back when Odilia was the centre of attention for the proportionally impressive wings for her age. Oh, the feelings of jealousy. Oh, the hatred. It felt wonderful.

Odilia sighed whilst reminiscing of her past and, with one sip, finished off her tea.

Renshii smirked as he rushed through the alley ways of the city. He had a hit on one of the demons roaming streets and it would be his. He knew he heard of the demon being nearby and he was going to find it. The boy sighed and shook his head jumping as he heard a noise coming from an alternate alley way. Renshii would then rush to the corner of it and peek around only to grumble and smack his forehead burying his face into his hand. It had only been two cats searching for food.

Renshii sighed and shook his head as he left the alley ways and stared up to the sky. He would be going to facility to 'check up' on the beasts there, he himself had captured a few of them, or the ones he didn't kill he sent there. Only twenty minutes had passed by before Renshii entered the building, ignoring th remarks of him having guns there when he himself wasn't a guard. But none the less the boy would go o the cafeteria only to stop seeing one of the demons eating the meat. Renshii actually didn't mind the food to much here so he would grab a small plate only to move sitting across from the pink haired demon. "Hello there little one, enjoying yourself in this place? Come on it's like paradise, it's rather better here then out there where I may place a bullet in your head now isn't it?" He would smirk only to chuckle staring at the demon and take a bite of his food.

Katyusha Yekatrina

"Pardon me?"
Furrowing her eyebrows close together, Katyusha felt the corners of her lips form a frown as the words the halfling spoke processed instantly through her mind. He wanted to know about more demons..? The image of Gremory's demonic arm gave off an aura that would make another person uncomfortable, but not Katyusha. Katyusha had grown up with the ability to see such things.

Seeming to pause to ponder upon the question. Katyusha wasn't thinking about the different demons that resided within this branch of the government, she was focusing on why Gremory would want to know this information. Were they planning an outbreak? Most likely not, this had happened before and everyone was practically slaughtered and contained. After all, why would he just want the demons? Letting out and inaudible sigh, Katyusha took another bite of her breakfast and chewed slowly to give herself more time.

There doesn't seem to be much harm in telling him a few that she knew. Katyusha just needed to keep an eye open for any sign of retaliation against the government or humans, or even other species. She had seen it happen before, two species not getting along with one another.
"Pinky," Katyusha gestured with a tilt of her head to the pink haired boy, not even bothering to cover up his true appearance. "Odi." Moving onto the female demon, which Katyusha had nicknamed Odi. That should be enough to satisfy Gremory's curiosity.

Leaning back against the cold wall, Aeradom looked around the cafeteria and carefully examined each of the inhabitants. It had been a little over a month since his arrival; the process of being captured was actually much easier than he had thought. After assuming an elf form, he walked into a police station and went up to the first police officer and knocked him out. That was all that was required for him to get a one way trip to the detention facility they were holding a group of fairytales.

Only a month inside, Aeradom had managed to gather much of the information that would be required for his plans. As was to be expected, security in the complex was pretty heavy. Despite there being a relatively small prison population, (around twenty by his observations) the prison contained at least sixty security officers on duty at any one time. After observing some of the occupants, the reason for the extensive precautions was quickly apparent. From were animals, merfolk, and demons, he was half surprised their hadn't already been an incident.

While he was confident in his ability to defeat the opposition inside the stronghold, it would have been another thing entirely to complete of the rescue. Without a proper ex-filtration strategy, by the time that the facility was secured and the residents organized and readied to move out, the military would of certainly organized a counter strike on the facility. Aeradom could of handled the tanks and fighters, but it would be doubtful if the others that he came to rescue would survive the Armageddon that would ensue.

One other reason for the delay of the operation that couldn't be anticipated, was the unexpected obstacle being unable to communicate with the others on the outside. Originally, Aeradom had planned to stay in regular contact with his team through telepathy. However, by means that hadn't yet been determined, telepathic signals seemed to be jammed within the facility.

Fortunately, human greed more than made up for that shortcoming. It hadn't been hard to peg the most likely candidate for Aeradom's purposes; a lewd and creepy elderly man who had been hired on to be the janitor for the facility. The combination of him being a completely contemptible person, and the fact that he made very little money despite working in such a high security facility, made him a prime target. In fact, even before Aeradom had arrived, the man had a reputation of bringing things from the outside for certain “favors” of the prisoners.

After confronting Percival, or Purci as he preferred to be called, they were quickly able to work out a fair exchange to deliver notes in and out of the complex. The latest note that the creep had brought in was from Irodil. She was in charge of planning what would happened after the facility had been secured and the prisoners liberated. It was a certainty that their would be a response, and everything hinged on her being able to move the fairytales to a secure location before the military arrived in force.

Ultimately, for the rescue to succeed it would require precise timing, rapid action and, most importantly, everyone on the same page. Unless Aeradom was able to form a cohesive force to act when the time was right, precious time would be lost in the haphazard and disorganized rush to ensure the prisoners safety and eliminate resistance. There was even the possibility that he could be bogged down long enough for the military to be ready and waiting when they arrived topside.

And with Irodil rapidly finalizing her part of the operation, Aeradom could no longer hold off interacting with the others. To this point, Aeradom had managed to stay away from the fairytales. Part of the reasoning was the fact that he knew that the more people he brought into the plan, the increased likelihood that the plan would be discovered before it was ready. If the military were to deploy a division of troops, tanks and heavy artillery, it would be doubtful that even Aeradom would be able to escape.

Truthfully though, the reason Aeradom hated the idea of bringing others in was the way he saw them as “inferior beings”. Even the thought of being stuck in the facility for this long made him want to get into a shower and never leave. It wasn't so much that he had a hatred towards them. On the contrary, it was he that argued the Angels to focus on rescuing them. The fact of the matter was, they weren't born to be perfect. And imperfection wasn't something that Aeradom easily tolerated. The fact he hadn't gone mad from being stuck in here with them was a small miracle in and of itself. Still, if the plan was to succeed, there was no avoiding involving at least some of the others.

And it wasn't like there wasn't an abundance of possible recruits to draw from. The trick was finding one that could be helpful while keeping their trap shut. There was one in particular that had caught his eye; a red-headed mermaid that seemed more focused on some distant, painful memory than the food in front of her. Aeradom believed he recalled one of the guards referring to her as, “Kia”.

The question was, how would one approach someone to involve them in a conspiracy. It wasn't like Aeradom had much experience in this area. While he may appear in his late twenties, he was in fact a few years old, and had no contact with anyone other than his kindred.

Aeradom casually walked up in hand-me-down jeans and white tank top, and sat down in front of her. After a glance around him to ensure no one was observing them, he spoke in a soft tone to her, “You look like someone that has some things on her mind.”

Nico looked up at the hunter that approached him. 'Hm a human approaching me? How odd.' he thought to himself. He blinked his violet eyes and his pupils slit into narrows "I suppose I am, it's not raw enough." he said and stabbed the meat with a fork. They gave a psychotic demon a sharp object, humans were as dull as he thought.

He let out a huff of air and glared at the man and bared his razor sharp teeth "Little one? My dear boy, I'm much older then you, a hundred to be exact." he said and chuckled. He took a bite of his meet and swallowed it. "It isn't as pretty as Pandia was, though I didn't ever get to stop and watch the scenery either." he mused. He rose a brow when the hunter sat down in front of him.

He knew that this wasn't the hunter that brought him to this place. Though, a hunter was a hunter, they where all the same. They wanted to destroy his brethren from this world. He couldn't allow that but, for now he would have to make due. Besides, what good was he to his mother dead?
